I was on holiday with my grandson from August 3 to August 11, 2025. I spent a long time looking for a hotel that would be comfortable for a holiday with a child. I read on the website that there is a cafe and you can eat here. But, unfortunately, the circumstances at the hotel turned out this way, we only had breakfast. There is a hotel nearby and on their territory there was also a cafe where there was normal home-cooked food.
Our room was large, with one bed, mini fridge, air conditioning, TV (only channel 5 worked), in a fairy bathroom. There was always hot water, a couple of times the power was turned off, for a short time. The room is cleaned every day, linen is changed once every 4 days. The linen is clean, the towels are snow-white and soft.
Special thanks to the service staff! All the girls are sociable, you can ask for any request, they will always help and explain.
On the first floor there is an ironing board with an iron. For an additional fee, you can wash your clothes in the washing machine with their powder. In the yard there are ropes and trailers for drying washed clothes.
Next to the hotel there is a vegetable and fruit stall, its own minimarket with everything you need, from toothpaste to Martini Asti☺️.
There were no problems with the Internet.
The sea is a five-minute walk away, there are umbrellas and sun loungers for an additional fee.
The embankment begins from our place, although not very beautiful, but you can walk in the evening.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The double room is small, but very clean, with furniture in good condition. The room has a TV, a small refrigerator, an air conditioner and even a heater, since it was at the very beginning of March, it was +7 outside the window. Shower and toilet are also in the room, fully equipped and also very clean. Our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the sea, which is definitely bold ➕, but the sloping roof and ceiling turned out to be a huge minus. I was also surprised by the lack of an electric kettle in the room. To make tea, you had to run to the first floor to see the administrator with a cup. 🤷‍♀️ By the way, the girls administrators were very polite, attentive and helpful. They tried to help everyone, for which a big THANK YOU to them! The hotel has a small grocery store with quite reasonable prices, which is also of course ➕. Overall, the impression is favorable, I recommend the hotel!

Responsive staff, always friendly, helped with any questions. We checked in a little early because our train arrived in the morning. The rooms are clean and cool. Air conditioning, shower, refrigerator — everything is working. How nice it is after a day of travel to return to your room on a comfortable mattress and a white bed) The hotel has a generator, so regular blackouts in Abkhazia were not scary) A friend was given a bottle of sparkling wine for her birthday — thank you!

I love white linen. It's brown here. Did not like. Otherwise, everything suited me. There is a small dining room, there is a refrigerator in the room, air conditioning, clean towels, garbage is taken out every day. I was satisfied, I recommend!

One of the few hotels in Sukhumi where the rooms are comfortable, renovated in a European style, with constant Wi-Fi, light and water! As we have heard, there is no water, no light, and the food is terrible! The hotel had a large menu, the food was excellent, porridge, omelettes, and sandwiches in the morning. The staff is good and responsive. The rooms are cleaned, clean, bed linen is changed, towels are changed every 2-3 days, the linen is all white, comparing with a Russian resort, although I haven’t been to many, this is the best hotel so far. There is a parking lot, the sea is really 2 minutes away.

We rested from 08/01/23 to 08/12/23 and did not regret choosing this hotel. The entire hotel staff is responsive and hospitable. The restaurant is great. I had to dine in many cafes and restaurants, but in Calypso the food is still better. The children were happy with the food. The service is always at the highest level. At the reception they will always help and tell you. Very good people work here. Cleaning is superb. Linen is changed regularly. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need for your stay. I recommend to everyone. Thank you all so much for a comfortable stay 🙏👍. If we come again, then only to this hotel.

A wonderful place to relax.
We stayed for 9 days and were satisfied with our vacation.
I would like to tell you all the advantages that we saw:
1) the room was large and clean.
2) cleaning every day.
3) the sea across the road.
3) its own large store on site.
4) excellent dining room.
5) hotel workers height.
And now some minor disadvantages (for us personally) :
1) small parking.
2) no barbecue area.

The hotel has only one plus — proximity to the sea. And now about the cons. The room has only one window next to the front door. The entrance to the room is from a common balcony; other guests walk past the door, looking into your room willy-nilly. That is, you can only stay in the room with the curtains closed in constant semi-darkness. They clean up poorly. The cobwebs in the corner were almost to the floor. She pointed this out to the administrator in response with a sweet smile. I found a mop on the floor and took it off myself. The air conditioner broke down, so the administrator did her best to refuse to call a specialist, citing the fact that everyone’s air conditioners were not working. Until I insisted, check the operation of the air conditioner in another room. And only then was a specialist called. The lock in the toilet stuck, I didn’t go to the administrator again. I realized that contacting them would only ruin my mood. Luckily we only lived for three days. Dining room is a bit expensive. On the first day, lunch for three was 2100 rubles. For this money, even cheaper, you can eat well in a cafe. We left early in the morning and needed a kettle. So there is only one for the whole hotel. At the same time, a girl from another room was checking out, who also needed a kettle. So the administrator with a sweet smile advised us not to fight. And finally, the hotel’s feature: upon check-out, the bed linen and towels were checked for stains.

We vacationed with our son in September of this year and made the right decision when choosing a hotel. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff for their warm welcome. We arrived late at night and the administrator checked us in without any problems (she told us everything and showed us everything).
Meals were not included, there is a canteen on site (we ate all 9 days without any problems).
Prices are good. The food is great. It’s a pity that there is no barbecue area and evening music…
About the room… we chose a 3-bed room, but we lived together. The room has everything you need for relaxation. I separately asked for a couple of hangers and an extra blanket (they gave it without any problems). Garbage was thrown out every day, linen was changed every 3 days. The linen is snow-white.
The most important thing is the sea across the road! (urban)
And also your own store on site. There is no need to go far anywhere.
This hotel is suitable for those who want to relax with family, quietly and calmly without pathos.
Yes, this is not a 5 star hotel, but everything is clean, cozy and the food is delicious. There were also problems with electricity and water in Sukhumi, but the hotel has its own generator and spare water (we were not affected by these problems)
We hope to return to this hotel in the new year.

The hotel is located at the end of the city embankment near the cargo port, in the private sector. It was a little uncomfortable to return to this place in the evening. The hotel has no territory, only a small area behind the gate and a courtyard onto which almost all rooms open.
In general, the hotel looks new (it is 6 years old), I got a good room. The room has a TV, a refrigerator, a good shower (not a cramped cubicle). And that's all.
The hotel has 3 floors, accessed by a fairly steep staircase. There is no elevator. It was very difficult to get in with the luggage, especially for me with an operated leg. Of course, there is no one to help. Of the staff, I only saw the girl at the reception, who sleeps right there on the sofa at night. When checking in, the girl immediately gave me the only necessary information, in her opinion, that the room would be checked for damage to property and fines for this, although I was the only one and seemed to look decent) ) ), as well as about various excursions. I tried to ask my questions about nutrition, etc. – the answer is “I don’t know. ” She asked that the TV needed to be set up and promised to send someone, but after 2 days no one showed up. I ended up setting it up myself. The next day, the other girl was more responsive and friendly.
Water could not be poured anywhere.
