There is no place closer to the airport than Studio Six unless you're a one percenter staying at the Ramada. Three people were $105. There is a swimming pool that's nice and pets are allowed at ten bucks each. It's a little loud at night if you're a person that has good ears.

The outside is not very nice but as soon as you walk in the door its very nice and clean. The front desk guys is so nice made us feel very welcomed. The rooms are very clean and nice. I would stay her again and again.

To get started I’ve worked in customer service so I rarely like to complain. But there were so much things at this property that I found extremely disturbing, and even with it all I never once confronted the staff. To start off the pool was completely drained and not in function when I arrived at the hotel. Even though the day prior to arriving, I called to make sure it was in working condition and was told it was. Our room smelled like smoke (though it was a non smoking room), we were only given two towels for our 2 nights stay and no wash clothes. The bedding was stained as well as the pillow cases stained with yellow lines. We were only given 2 pillows as well for two adults. The room contained bugs such as ants, and some small rounded bugs. I’ve never been so speechless in my life and on top of it, customer service is extremely poor, you cant call down to the front desk and the staff is extremely rude! I’d ask for my money back but I know it’ll be entirely impossible. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. It’s pretty much a brothel.

The location I stayed at had recently gone through a massive renovation, and I could tell that they are working on making it a better place to stay, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. I hope this is constructive. Checking in, my room was not ready at 3:15pm. I was switched to another room at 4:45 when mine was still not ready. Walking around during that time, the hall had a musky smell, like old food. This is probably from still having old carpeting in the stairways and halls. This NEEDS to be upgraded next. It puts off a bad impression. One more critique is the front desk setting. There is glass separating the greeter from the customer. This made me incredibly uncomfortable, thinking "How safe am I here? " as a smaller woman. I actually asked the front desk attendant this very question before finalizing check in. The entrance NEEDS to be re done to make those checking in feel like this is a safe and welcoming environment, not one where they could get robbed or shot. First thing I noticed in the room was hairs in the bed, a cigarette burn mark on the sheets, a pill of some kind left in the bathroom, and a red substance on the light switch to the bedroom. Next, I went to turn on the fridge, and it never got cold, smelled terrible, and was not clean inside. I am a deep sleeper, but was woken up several times during my 3 night stay by other guests in the hallways yelling or banging things.

I wanted to be sure to comment on the front desk staff, especially Cash (not sure if this is how his name is spelled. ) He was amazing! I left my ID at the counter and he made such an effort to contact me and when he did even brought me my ID as I was at the airport already and could not make it back before my flight. I was really impressed by his character and how genuinely friendly, nice and concerned he was. He is an exemplary employee and Studio 6 is very lucky to have such an ambassador for them working there.

The room was very nice, very spacious, and clean. Everything worked. However, the parking garage, which I had to park in most of the time, was another story. Unless someone left the door into the building open, I had to walk outside up the ramp and enter through the front entrance. When I asked why my key to the door would not open the parking garage door, two of the people told me they had problems with it. But I also saw some people's keys open the door. That was a royal pain. They only change out towels ever 3 days, which was not a problem for me.

I was initially very displeased with my choice to to stay here primarily because I had no hot water in my room. The hotel did fix this issue however, bring in plumbers on a Sunday. Once the hot water issue was fixed I was satisfied with the hotel excepting a few issues. I would recommend you stock the front desk, at least, if not the individual rooms with cooking utensils. I booked this property primarily for the kitchenette feature so I could spend $30-40 at the grocery store to cook most of my meals for a week instead of spending $10-15+ per meal eating out. I had to purchase a skillet, utensils, dish soap and sponge at my own expense to be able to use the kitchenette, then decide if I wanted to carry a random skillet around or dispose of it after only a few uses.

The room is huge, and having a kitchen is great, but… There was no garbage can in my room, no do not disturb sign, the heater did not work, it smelled like smoke throughout the garage because people were sitting outside it smoking. The room however was BIG and the kitchen feature is great! Also, there was no on at the window when I came in, and I had to wait quite a while.

I understand that this establishment is low budget, that's still not an excuse for the accommodations. The room was half cleaned to say the least. Most of the drawers to the dresser didn't open. The oven was horrendous. The floors should have been mopped. At $60-$70 a night, I think you guys should do a lot better. With that being said, I stayed for 2 nights. The customer service was Exceptional. I have no complaints about anyone.

Huge room, very little furniture. It REALLY needed a couch, at the very least. There were some maintenance issues as well — toilet seat was loose, safety lock was missing on the door, door key / door was difficult to operate requiring multiple attempts both with the card and with engaging the doorknob, the door didn't have a closer on it so it swung open into the wall every time it was opened. Lot's of security cameras in the building but none in the underground parking. Bed was a little broken down in the middle.

Got robbed for our $100 deposit. The rude Indian gentleman claimed we smoked in our room. He admitted that "this is how he robs his guests. " Very disappointing! He called the police on me saying I would not leave. Told him that we don't smoke. Said he must be mistaken. He claimed he does not make mistakes that they had checked. Had they done so they would have been able to tell we don't smoke. But it raises the question as to if they went into our room? Very questionable!

Very disappointed. The room itself and the rate of the room was fine. However, the comforter had burn holes in it and we told the front desk. I am disabled and called two days prior to be sure I could get a ground floor. The front desk said no problem. When we get there, this is a two story building no elevators. Then they tell me they that they do not have any two bed rooms on the main floor. Which by the way had a flight of stairs to get to the first floor and check in. The parking garage is in the basement and again no elevator for the disabled to get to their rooms comfortably. This is no way in compliance with the ADA! I would have got another hotel, but this was three days before Christmas and rooms very not available at other room. I will be filing a complaint regarding the no compliance of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Wow, just got robbed hundred dollars from the front desk guy. Charges us $100 for taking a dab in the room, says he’ll return it if we air the place out, left the place clean and smokeless the rest of the stay, returns our money, has someone inspect the room, inspector says it’s good to go, two days later receive $100 charge on my room after everyone gave me the thumbs up. Meanwhile there are tons of heavy drug users roaming around the place disgustingly. It’s 2017 in Portland, There is cigarette smoke and drug smell in the building and he comes after us. If you were going to charge us you should have said something before we seal the deal. Not cool.

Clean room, although unusual configuration with a lot of wasted space. Ended up rolling the bed across the floor to be closer to the TV. Had a little problem reaching someone to send the shuttle to pick us up at the airport on our return, and the driver arrived at a different spot than we were told. All in all, we were satisfied and felt we got our money's worth.

The younger guy that checked me in was friendly and very helpful. There was a older guy that wasn't friendly, he would just stare at me or my family members when they came to picked me up and didn't respond when I would try and greet him. The guy who checked me out was friendly as well as the housekeeper. So overall your staff is good which gave the extra star. The rooms are a good size but I didn't get one that looked like the newer setups that are advertised. I'm assuming that was because I used the deal offered on the site. During my 6 night stay I experienced "neighbors" that were constantly yelling at each other or their kids that would be playing in the hallway most nights. The yelling and loud talking through the hall would continue past 10pm. One day there was someone yelling and banging on a door next door telling the person inside that he needed to fix something. This banging even shook the walls in my room. They yelled at each other for about 5 minutes as he continued to bang harder and harder on the door. The female guest finally came out and the guy made some remark about her not paying the rent. They would wake me up several nights from their yelling at each other. I had a roach crawl across the coffee table my first night. The room had a strange odor. The refrigerator has exposed insulation on inside and would freeze everything instead of just keep cool. There was a quarter size hole in the bedroom that was never patched over when something was removed.

Clean rooms good staff. Stayed there 6 days and have one complaint. I stayed here because they accepted my pets. Full grown labs plus a cat and a small dog. Can't remember the deposit, but it was fair. The issue I had is after 2 days the owner will not give coffee out to the rooms and getting toiletries even worse. All my stuff was packed in a 53 FT trailer. Please show some consideration to those from out of state relocating.

For the price it is great. BUT, still was kinda sketchy. Puling up around midnight after our flight, was probably not the best ideal time considering there were many people around outside doing who knows what. The room was HUGE, but for the 8 hours we were there it was completely fine. 3 stars because I do not think it was the safest place to stay.

Good price and location. Great staff. Big, clean, and functional room. Door peep hole has tissue stuck in a hole. Card keys only worked for a short time after being programmed. Had to have them reprogrammed each time I left the room. The check-in parking spaces were always filled even though no one was checking in. There were often people hanging out in the parking garage, seemingly there without purpose.

This place is meant for extended stays but welcome 1 night visitors as well. The facility is clean rooms are very well kept and offer a kitchenette. The particular room I stayed in had 2 double beds and a queen. I would DEFINITELY stay here again if I was back in the Portland area. Close to the airport as well but no air traffic noise. The low rate was especially nice.

The room was very large and awesome for hanging out with a larger group of people. Two couples could easily share this space and feel comfortable and able to maintain some privacy between them. The bedding was comfortable and the facilities were acceptably clean. Upgrades would be advantageous for this hotel bit in the meantime, it was a very nice home away from home.

We stayed for 5 nights and they only cleaned our room once. We kindly asked if they could clean it, and didn't give us basic supplies such as, towels, soap, garbage bags. And the one of the buttons didn't work at all and the other one would not work sometimes. We are a family of 4 and they only gave us 1 spoon and one fork, and a knife. And they had a small pan only, we had to go to the housekeeping to give us a bigger one. And our first day we got there we walked into the room and the floor was extremely dirty, I took my shoes and walked to the bathroom and my socks got really dirty from the floor.

The only reason this place gets two stars is because they are a reasonable rate for long-term stay and have plenty of space. Otherwise it is a scary place to stay! We had a prostitute living next door and her pimp would come over every other night and beat her, or every other night than that she would have someone there having sex with her until 3 or 4 in the morning and then her pimp would come back and beat her until the sun came up. The management would do nothing about removing them, and neither would the police! What's up with that? They stayed there the entire time we did almost three straight weeks! My family was woken up repeatedly every night that we were there. I have two little girls who had to listen to the horrible noises coming from next door. I can't believe they didn't do anything to try to correct the situation. Apparently the prostitute had a deal worked out with the manager there. At least that's what she told the police.

You should really, really consider doing a surprise inspection of this place! I cannot believe that Motel 6 would allow their name and logo to be used by this place. The room was very scantily furnished, the sheets were dirty, the phone did not work, and the TV only had two or three channels that worked. The upstairs seemed like a halfway house for people who had been there a long time and were apparent drug users. The noise from the upstairs started about 10 pm. I went to complain to the front desk and the manager said he would address the issues. We walked upstairs together and the place smelled terrible. While I was talking to the manager, another guest (apparently who knew the manager very well) came and asked for gloves because she was getting a tattoo in her room. Me and my mom were there for one evening and were fearful the whole time because of the other guests. The pictures on the website do not represent the property accurately. The pool had no water in it. The parking garage was filled with broken down, abandoned vehicles. I have stayed in other Motel 6's and Studio 6's and have never been more dissatisfied in my life. There was no soap or shampoo in our rooms. The front office is not very welcoming with the bullet-proof glass at the counter. The staff was pretty friendly, but the place is a disaster. It was like staying in a gang/drug infested part of Los Angeles. I will never stay here again.

It would be very helpful to those who may book a room online to advertise the motel in a more complete fashion. For example, there is no mention of underground parking. That would have been nice to know in advance. "Extended Cable" does not exist. There are only a few local channels. Channels I expect at Motel 6/Studio 6 locations are the weather channel (esp during travel), CNN, and ESPN. The pet area is adequate, but difficult and confusing to access. The office staff are very polite, but it seems understaffed. The room is adequate, and all the equipment (a/c unit, tvs, frig, microwave, etc) was in working order. However, the room was not clean. I did not expect my shoes to stick to the floor, and there was a lot of pet hair & human hair on the floor, especially in the bathroom. The location was very good for what business I had in Portland, but the area in general seems to be a rough part of Portland. I will not be staying at this location in the future, unless dramatic improvements are made.

Rooms feel older and have an odd layout, but are fully furnished with two tvs, microwave, cook top, and fridge. Price can't be beat for the proximity to the airport. Plenty of parking underneath the motel, but it does have a little bit of a creepy feel due to the card being worked on by longer term guests. Neighborhood is decent and while not the safest feeling, but I never felt nervous either. I'd definitely stay here again. Great value.

Overall very good, for the price. We arrived early in Portland around 12.30pm so chanced it that our room might be available early, Receptionist was super helpful and confirmed they were just finishing up. Room was missing some towels, which the night receptionist got for me. Room could have done with a trashcan. And some hangers. The kitchenette was supplied apart from no pot, yet the lid was there. We were not cooking so not a gripe. Toilet lid needs replaced/fixed cosmetically. Really for the price, good. Guest Laundry room was "out of order" didn't say why or when it was getting fixed. Not a major gripe, but it would have been nice to have access. Would stay here again, ask for room 101

I was in Portland for a Dr. 's appointment that ended up being rescheduled for the following day. I did not feel like driving 3 hours home so I looked online to find a clean, inexpensive hotel to stay in for the night. From the pictures, this hotel looks fine. Do not stay here. I have never been so terrified in my life. There is a disgusting underground parking garage with people strung out in it. When I came to check in, a woman there had her car windows BUSTED out and BROKEN IN TO. In the halls it smells like drugs and urine. There are people on drugs screaming at each other in the hallways. The carpets in the room are one big stain, some that look like they might be blood. The 2nd bedroom had dried blood inside the closet on the wall. I sat down at the table in the room to just try and relax for a minute and figure out a plan. There was a line of drugs on the table where I sat. What if I had children? I watched as obvious hookers and drug dealers came in and out of the hotel. But wait there's more. The room had not been cleaned, I assume the bed had just been made and that was it. I dared not look at the sheets, but the TV didn't work. The walls were filthy. There was a fridge full of rotten food. The microwave was black with mold. And the ICING on the CAKE was the hypodermic needle in the bathroom trashcan. This place is a health hazard. I am shocked it has not been shut down. I promptly checked out, and still have not received my refund.

Quicker than an Uber, faster than all hotel shuttles we had experienced in the past, Studio 6 surpassed our expectations! We didn't even wait 5 minutes for our shuttle! Room had fully stocked kitchenette with utensils, pans, etc. Coming back from Asia with an entire day of jetsetting my family slept like a dream with the quiet atmosphere. Studio 6 was the smartest, safest, economic choice we added at the last minute of our trip of a lifetime and it was worth every cent! Thank you.

The room and hotel were disgusting. Filthy, garbage all over the hallways, and trash cans overflowing. Room run down, filthy, NO coffee maker or any amenities, broken plumbing fixtures, WEAK water pressure, furniture was old and nasty. I dared not walk barefoot for fear of catching an infection from the floors and carpet. FILTHY! The worst part was how dangerous the place was. Drug dealing was definitely going on — a 'hore' house with 'guests' coming in and out all night, making noise, banging around, yelling in hallways and outside — ALL NIGHT. I got maybe an hour of sleep. I booked for two nights and promptly cancelled my second night in the morning, leaving as fast as I could. If you really care about a 'Motel 6' reputation for this property, you better get down there and look for yourself. Better yet, book yourself on a Friday or Saturday night to get the full experience. I know Motel 6 is a budget hotel, but I at least expect a clean, safe, quiet room where I can get a decent nights' sleep. I should have spent the extra 10 bucks for the Howard Johnson down the way — at least there I know it's clean and safe.

Great customer service and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the wide open space with all the amenities of a full kitchen. It was like a huge apartment. I would highly recommend. Thanks so much!

I am 49 years old and this was by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. And I have stayed at a lot of hotels. Had we not already made reservations, we would have left immediately. 1. ) Parking was horrible, 2). It was a shady neighborhood with shady looking guests (the bullet proof glass protecting the desk clerk was a hint), 3). We heard loud voices in the room across from us as well as in the hallways as if partying was goin on… including at the 4:30 in the morning as we were getting up to leave, 4. ) There were people partying in the underground garage. We felt extremely unsafe and felt afraid to even leave our room. 5. ) As we were leaving at 5:30 in the morning to catch our plane, we discovered a car had parked right behind us blocking us in. Trying to find out who the car belonged to, we discovered it belonged to the hotel employee desk clerk who actually left the premises in the hotel vehicle. We had to wait for her return (which was about 10-15 minutes). She parked and casually went inside before coming back out to move her car so we could leave. (yes, she knew she was blocking us in and found it amusing). This was the DESK CLERK! We have never been so relieved to leave a hotel. We would sleep in our car before we ever stayed at this hotel again. WORST hotel experience I have EVER had! This was the Studio 6 by the Portland International Airport on March 21/22.

We used this facility as a "stay/park/fly" leaving our car in their covered garage for a week. The room was huge and the bed comfortable. Very clean however the coffee maker was broken and the microwave turntable was not fitted properly. Found this out just before shuttle departure so the staff did not have an opportunity to respond. The staff was friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle very convenient. We will probably use this property again.

Not safe place for anyone to stay. I booked my room though Expedia and thought I had a great deal of course! We arrived and got into the room which I have to say it was a nice remodeled room, we called the front desk (which was in a almost look theater boost with only two large front window and an area to slid money or card though) to get some to help with the TV and no one call back. Every time we picked up the phone it sounded like to lines on one call? My sister called the front desk to make sure on the TV and was told no one would be able to fix till tomorrow. Which at that time my sister said never mind we will be gone by then. A few minute later we had some knock on the door and said maintenance. Look through the peep hole and it was three suspicious men?! We called the front desk and where told not to open the door!? Then we asked to have her call the cops and she said she was not allowed too? We called again asking her if she called and cops and she said no, but would you like me to call them? At this time we called the cops ourselves and left the the room to find a safer location. This was the first visit to Portland and we felt safer walking the streets at night in the rain we did at this place.

Not bad, have seen worse. Cool staff, friendly people staying in the other rooms.

It was perfect and very, very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be close to transit, located out of the rush and bustle but also wanting to jump in by just crossing the street. Backs up to a lovely older neighborhood. Front desk and all employee are very hospitable and courteous a major plus point for me.

The service was great as we checked in professional, cheerful and helpful. The shower in my room was too short and the consistency of the water temperature was terrible. The water ranged from scalding hot to mildly cold without adjusting the handle at all. It was a constant battle to keep warm water without being burnt. Otherwise my stay was a good experience.

Room I was in I'm told is for people who review. Only. The place has a lot of transients and budget visitors. Visitors They do not have working a laundry facility. (No lid to washers) and the people their take it upon themselves to remove you things from the machines when they do have 1 of 2 working. We has to ask to get the safe working and then no one ever showed up to give us batteries, and that is exactly what I asked for when I went to desk myself to handle it. When money is tight keep in mind you get what you pay for.

This place doesn't even deserve one star. We thought it would be great because it was so close to the airport. We were there for 10 minutes and left. The place had been newly remodeled, but it was just a pretty mask hiding a hideous face. We basically just handed them money and walked out the door. There was dirt and human hair in the sheets. There were extremely obvious stains on the sheets. The utensils in the kitchen were dirty. The entire kitchenette was absolutely filthy. The table had soda spilled on it. The room hadn't even been cleaned. It looked like the beds had been slept in and they just made them and didn't wash the linens. I may have seen a bed bug egg. I can't be for certain, but that's what it looked like. It seemed like the whole neighborhood was out front of the motel. There were dirty ghetto looking people that had no business being there just sitting around. They seemed like drug addicts and prostitutes loitering around the motel and coming in and out. I felt extremely unsafe. This motel and the Motel 6 company should be ashamed. I will never again stay at a motel that is even remotely affiliated with Motel 6. I feel dirty for even having stepped foot in that place. I can't express how disgusted I really am. I'm visiting from Ohio. I've seen the beauty that is Oregon. Now I've seen the ugly. This was the last night of our stay in Oregon and it almost overshadowed my entire vacation experience. The city of Portland needs to shut this place down.

I'm on the first floor which has been remodeled since I was here last. It's really nice and spacious with a kitchenette and large refrigerator with pots, pans, silverware and dishes. Not having to eat out is really convenient right now. I'm pretty satisfied. I've read other reviews about this place and people complain about drug addicts and prostitutes, of which I've seen none that I know of. Anyway you're going to get that at any hotel in Portland. Drugs are very ubiquitous here. I gave it 4 stars just because they raised the price of the room on me seemingly arbitrarily the second night I stayed for the same room.

The staff was friendly and worked quick. The room was large and comfortable. It served it's purpose. It's not something fancy but its affordable and clean! There wasn't much parking space.

After I filled in the survey for the hotel it said I might like to share my experience in a review. So here it is: The pros were that the desk clerk on my initial night's stay before flying out of PDX and on the night of my return was a very personable man and was good at his job. The lady shuttle driver at 5 AM was also very personable. The room was very clean. The cons were many. The main reasons I stayed there were that they had a shuttle to and from PDX and I could leave my car there for 2 weeks. I found no mention that the shuttle stopped running at 4:30 PM so I had to take a taxi back after my 7:10 PM arrival to PDX. I also didn't get my 4:00 AM wake up call on the day of my departure. There was a coffee pot but no basket for it which didn't really matter because there was no coffee, cups, spoons, or creamer. There were several missing things usually found in a motel room like toiletries (they did have soap), a waste paper basket, any place to hang hanging clothes (or hangars for that matter), clear TV stations or a channel guide, no ramp only stairs to get into the building — seemed pretty steep for this senior citizen lady, and no elevator to the second floor. The man at the front desk did rectify the coffee situation. Chances are very good I won't be staying there again.

Was a decent hotel for the money but don't expect anything to fancy. Probably will spend the extra couple bucks for something nicer next time.

Very disappointed. Paid day before and got here. Room was a mess and looked like someone had just been in the bed. Nasty dirty but they are remodeling. If it cleans up might be a nice place but made them give me a newly remodeled room.

I love this Studio 6 rooms are very clean service is very good location is perfect big new rooms new manager is on top of his game I will only stay at this location when I am in portland.

Too many (sorry for being blunt) hookers and crazy off the wall tweakers. Not safe for children not safe even for an adult let alone. Double thumbs down.

Place is a dump! Typical motel 6… Regardless that there is a little punk ass kitchen… Which has missing cabinet doors no utensils and is filthy. The usual drug addict, hooker infested property u expect from a 6. Manager had the nerve to not extend my stay bc it 'smelled like weed '… I asked if hes ever been outside the office… Weed is the LEAST of his worries HA! Not to mention the fact that the SECOND that I checked in I was assaulted w weed smell! And construction LOUD AS HELL ALL DAY AND NIGHT! Hated this place!

They have updated the rooms it's beutifull I love this place specially with full kitchen close to airport very safe and very friendly service I will definitely recommend any one to this Place.

Let us book online then told us they accidentally overbooked and had no room for us. It was already 11pm. We had a hard time getting a refund AND getting another place. Bad form.

Staff is friendly and while not a fancy hotel by any means the rooms are large with microwave, fridge and kitchen area. The hotel is undergoing renovations and I am excited to see what it looks like when they are done.
