Review of Studio 6-Portland, OR 2*

I was in Portland for a Dr. 's appointment that ended up being rescheduled for the following day. I did not feel like driving 3 hours home so I looked online to find a clean, inexpensive hotel to stay in for the night. From the pictures, this hotel looks fine. Do not stay here. I have never been so terrified in my life. There is a disgusting underground parking garage with people strung out in it. When I came to check in, a woman there had her car windows BUSTED out and BROKEN IN TO. In the halls it smells like drugs and urine. There are people on drugs screaming at each other in the hallways. The carpets in the room are one big stain, some that look like they might be blood. The 2nd bedroom had dried blood inside the closet on the wall. I sat down at the table in the room to just try and relax for a minute and figure out a plan. There was a line of drugs on the table where I sat. What if I had children? I watched as obvious hookers and drug dealers came in and out of the hotel. But wait there's more. The room had not been cleaned, I assume the bed had just been made and that was it. I dared not look at the sheets, but the TV didn't work. The walls were filthy. There was a fridge full of rotten food. The microwave was black with mold. And the ICING on the CAKE was the hypodermic needle in the bathroom trashcan. This place is a health hazard. I am shocked it has not been shut down. I promptly checked out, and still have not received my refund. Portland and Oregon are a beautiful place. Not here. Please keep yourself safe and stay elsewhere.
