Not LGBTQ friendly, ordered dinner and waited over 90 minutes for a turkey sandwich. I watched as everyone who arrived after me got served their food quickly, while I waited. I confirmed my diner THREE times, didn’t seem to matter. I recommend any other hotel if you are LGBTQ, or support the LGBTQ community.

Outstanding hotel. Spotless, fresh, great shower, fluffy towels, nice staff…… EXCELLENT CHOICE!

The drapes didn’t close, only the shears. Made it very difficult to sleep. All soaps were scented. I’m extremely sensitive to scents so couldn’t use any of them.

Checked into the hotel after flying all day from Cincinnati. I arrived at the hotel around 11:45pm and went straight to my room. When I opened the door all I could do was smell cigarette smoke. I then looked inside and thought they gave me a room that was already occupied. No, it just wasn't cleaned… it was destroyed! Food, pop bottles, trash, little debbie boxes piled up, clothes on the floor… it was awful. I do have pictures on how the ruin looked. After getting a new room I went in and washed my face. It took over an hour for the water to drain from the sink. I was happy to check out. The rate is too expensive to go through all of that.

You have to pay 10 to park here and no complementary breakfast. And rude customer service.

Only one door access in and out, inconvenient when’s packing out. NO BREAKFAST! Brown water for coffee. Nice room, wonderful staff but you feel like you are locked in. Driving from Indiana this is the first hotel not offering free breakfast. I do not want to pay to eat at this little “cafe”! Do not like the gated parking lot! Why are their pay gates to get out/in? Do not like this at all!

Overall an amazing place to take family to. Ive been coming for year and always a great experience.

We used to love staying at this Holiday Inn until they added a parking fee per night. We have stayed at numerous other hotels and never had to pay to park. This location will be blacklisted on our choice of places to stay.

The rooms were nice and included a fridge, microwave, coffee. All the staff were excellent.

The location of this hotel is great. It resides close to the airport and downtown Portland, so traveling to either place is quick. The service is friendly and professional. The rooms were very neat and clean. All amenities you would expect from a hotel are present and in ample amount. However, I will note that the bedside lamp in my room would not turn on. The interior restuarant has quality food and comfy seating. Overall, staying here is pleasant and would easily suit someone's overnight needs.

6 minutes from the Airport and they do the 'Park and Fly' gig that is a whole lot less that parking at the lots. The place is older but clean and they have a restaurant. Nothing great, but perfect to get some rest and then fly out the next morning or for an evening flight. The people at the front desk are always friendly and helpful. Oh, there is an indoor pool for the kids.

It was nice. Staff differed from nice or not. Some were really friendly others were weird or rude. They have shuttle transportation to and from the airport. The pool was secluded and nice. The restaurant inside tasted better than expected. The coffee shop up front wasn’t that good and the gift shop was sold out of everything. The main annoying thing was housekeeping. Their schedules literally made no sense. On our last day there (we didn’t put up a sign because they never seemed to stop by before noon anyways) they walked in twice without knocking. It was overall a nice place to stay. Definitely one of the nicest holiday inns. It’s a little far from the main part of Portland. The closest bus stop is about a 5 minute walk (over and under bridges. Beware of homeless). Not very helpful with accessing internet. It was decent. Not bad but not the best.

Nice hotel… Nothing nearby (can't walk to anything). Rooms are clean and recent. Bar is good. Restaurant isn't bad but limited menu. No free breakfast — buffet is 14 dollars — the same thing you get for free at Hampton Inn. My room wasn't cleaned until after 5pm. That made it difficult. There was a coffee shop attached to front desk. I was told twice it was closed! Why have three people at the front desk and have no one that could handle it? The pool is nice though I don't understand why the water wasn't clear (it was cloudy)? I have a home swimming pool and understand that when the water is cloudy it isn't balanced. Shouldn't be rocket science. Not sure I'd stay here again.

Loved staying at this hotel, even though I got in late and left early. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable and clean. It was very quick to get to the airport in the morning. The one negative is that the lot was pretty full and it was hard to find a space. This was my second time staying here and I didn't have that issue the first time, though, so it may have just been a busier week. I would definitely go back.

We were part of the Cardigan Corgi National Specialty and stayed several nights at the Inn. First a huge thank you to TRINA at the bar. She is the best bartender I have ever seen. Knew our names, what we liked and took great care of all our party. That girl is amazing and should be considered a vital part of the operation. Just tell her TALL DAVE recommended her for the next promotion that comes along. As for the remainder of the stay. The service in other departments fell off as the week progressed. Perhaps getting Trina to oversee things on a broader basis would improve the entire operation. Yes we were impressed with her abilities. She knows how to make you feel you are a part of the festive occassion.

My wife and I spent a week at Holiday Inn Portland-Airport April 22 ~ 29. The first 4 nights we had no hot water the last few nights we had more or less warm water. We where there for a week long event and the hotel was fully book so no extra rooms. The manager was nice and friendly and had told me that the first few nights would be discounted or adjust to our bill, need less to say they was not. On an other note we had to go to the office dozens of times to get our rooms keys re-programmed, 6 times in 1 day. Goodbye Ho-Inn Portland airport.

I stayed the night while attending a two day conference at this Holiday Inn in Portland. The conference and the hotel staff assistance with the conference was fine. Having a turkey sandwich box lunch for two days was not ideal, but understandable when catering for that many people. My frustration was more over the hotel room and the restaurant staff. The hotel room had a very noisy air conditioning unit that rattled all night in my room. The shower rack also collapsed on me while reaching for a towel after my shower. This was after I did not get my wake up call scheduled the night before. The restaurant staff was not very prompt or caring either for dinner or breakfast. I felt I had plenty of time to eat breakfast and was late to the conference due to their slow service. I guess they expect everyone to get the all you can eat buffet so they don't need to serve. Overall the hotel conference center, their meeting rooms, and the lobby were nice. The front desk staff was also courteous. They recently added a parking fee so also be prepared for that. A fellow conference attendee could not get their car out because they had already checked out of the hotel. The staff did fix that issue though.

I have stayed here many many times on my trips to Portland. The hotel is very near the airport without being so close that you have to listen to planes all day and night. The hotel has a large parking lot and you can use it for park and fly for a reasonable fee. I have only ever stayed in a suite during my visits (IHG Spire Member) and I can say that they are both nicely appointed and comfortable. The restaurant on-site is good, but not mind blowing. If you are staying in one of the suites there is a room they may give you access to that has nice drinks, snacks, fresh fruit, and yogurts.

Excellent service, all very clean and tidy, as shown in the description of the hotel. Soon we will return.

Excellent place keeps its surroundings green and inside it feels like to arrive even place that is very pleasant and would like to share that its hosts bone their resepcionistas always keep a good smile.

We stayed at this hotel foe 3nights… sadly… his is the first time I have to give a Holiday Inn 3stars, I’d give the African-American Front desk receptionist a 5, she was very friendly and energetic. Thank you. However the Hotel could use some upgrading. We had a jr. Suite and we are reward-club members, we were NOT told that there was a club room for embers until the African-American front desk girl told us…
This hotel has a lot of attention to detail missing. We had cold water, we needed to let the water run for 1/2hr in the shower… the sink water in the bathroom had NO hot water altogether. This jr. Suite has a little kitchenette area, however after 2days we didn’t get new coffee cups To make coffee with, and no garbage bag was placed in the garbage can. The pull out sofa bed looked like it had been slept in and it was not made any of the 3 nights we were there, as it looked the same as when we left in the morning.
As rewards-club members, one can set their room preferences in their online profile, as in high or low floor or near or away from the elevators… this was not honored with this stay. The maid wanted to come in our room early this morning (9am) and asked us if we are done… but I thought check out is at 11, and fir rewards mambers even a bit later…?

We were running late, of course, and arrived to park our car for long term parking. The shuttle was leaving in 3min and we would be ready in 5. So we missed it by 2min. The next shuttle was already there but wouldn't be leaving for another 20min. She decided to take us and another guy anyway, as soon as we parked our car. She was awesome and went above customer service to get us to the airport on time since we were running late. I wish I got her name but very nice and got us there on time. Thank you! Got our trip started off right. :-)

This is a great place to stay. The beds were super comfortable. It was absolutely freezing in Portland, but the rooms would warm up quickly. The hallways and lobby were very quiet. The staff was very helpful, informative, and friendly. It’s in a great location; only 10 minutes away from the airport and maybe a 15 minute drive from downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Really loved this hotel! Cool interiors and super comfortable beds. This is probably the best I’ve ever slept at a hotel. Very quiet, great breakfast too. Staff was nice and friendly despite the very busy tournament crowds. Huge pool area. Roomy, spacious and comfortable atmosphere overall. Great value for the price! ($135/night) Great for families!

The team at the hotel was great for our student trip. They were very accommodating with our last minute reservation. The students loved the food and stay (rooms were nice and the built in restaurant was an added bonus). Nathaniel was helpful and got us a banquet room to use for an hour so we could better prepare for our competition, which made a world of difference for our day. Ashlee was SUPER helpful in securing our accommodations and working with the school for payment. Thank you to app parties involved for making our stay fun and easy!

I didn't stay here. I just went for the cat show at the convention center. There was plenty of parking and the facilities were adequate. The bathrooms were clean and there was a concession stand. No complaints but also not bewitched by the place. Close to the airport.

I really appreciated the helpfulness of the hotel shuttle driver. However the late-night desk staff was difficult to work with at times. The room was clean and nice but the dead left a little bit to be desired. On the whole its location and convenience as well it's as its quality was quite nice. I would happily stay here again.

Very dingy and dirty. The bathtubs had brown stains and seemed they never vacuum the place. Honestly one of the worst Holiday Inns I have stayed. I understand they had some construction going on but really need to renovate the bathrooms. On a positive note, the bat and restaurant was good. The food was good and the bartenders and wait staff were excellent.

I'm an IHG member and as such I always gives my first priority to Holiday inn hotels. This hotel was way more expensive than usual price I'm used to pay (I'm talking about approx. 60% more). I was sure that for that price it would be amazing and since I needed only for one night I decided to stay, later I discovered that breakfast not included. When eventually I reach my room I was disappointed even more — small room with small bed (not even a queen size), old poorly maintained appliances. The good side 1. Restaurant inside (with a very limited variety — but with friendly staff and tasty food) 2. Sort of club room for IHG members with coffee, soft drinks and some snakes.

Came here for a business trip. Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Was surprised to see a nice restaurant and bar inside the hotel! I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Portland.

Room was nice. There was an event at the hotel which made it noisy. In particular my room was right next to the elevator which absolutely made trying to sleep during the afternoon a nightmare. The elevator made very loud banging noises as it was used constantly. There were also several large groups which made it even noisier. My room didn't have a mini fridge which was a let down when I brought my expensive dinner leftovers from their restaurant back upstairs. Breakfast was good I suppose. Again, having several large groups there made it hard to eat. Parking was also limited AND you had to pay. If you're dead set on the area, the Holiday Inn at Vancouver Mall is a quieter more customer service oriented stay.

The staff were fantastic. I stayed for nearly a month in the hotel while working in Portland and I did not have a single bad day there. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Clean bedding and comfortable beds. Everything you really need from a hotel. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Katie McArthy is a touring comedian and when she's off the road for the night a clean, and quiet room is just what is needed. There's a laundry room, and an on-site restaurant so getting some fresh clothes and a good meal are not hard come by!

I recently stayed at The Holiday Inn (Portland Airport) in Portland, OR for business travel. It is very close to the airport, and they offer very friendly shuttle service to PDX. The room was spacious and clean with cozy beds, and you have the option to rent out a fridge/microwave if you like. The staff was very very helpful and answered any concerns I had very promptly! The Wi-Fi was complimentary which was a huge bonus. Thanks for a great stay!

Rooms are clean, sleek, and modern. This hotel is also pet friendly. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is very nice and the staff is very helpful. Though Columbia conference center could use a bit of aesthetic updating, it was a great space for the business event I attended, and it was very easy to get to and the staff helped make sure I was going to the right place. Though I have not actually stayed in the hotel portion, the lobby looked very very nice and updated.

The hotel was very convenient to the airport with 24 hours shuttle service which was a huge benefit to me. The bath room could use a little deep cleaning or renovation. Overall I would score it a 4 out of 5

Our client Ryan Muphy is a traveling musician who stayed here recently while using our service, and was very happy to write back how awesome this property was! The room was incredible, clean and quiet. There's also a restaurant on-site to pick up a bite to eat before the gig, always a great stay here. The staff and management provide wonderful hospitality!

Great service — conveniently located. No microwaves in room, but the nice gentlemen at the counter was more than accommodating when asked if he could heat some things up. Nice ambience, will definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean rooms were nice. Fitness room could use some more equipment and be more up to date. Staff was attentive and respectful to your needs.

2nd time here: Great hotel! beds are super comfortable. I loved my room — it was super clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful and there is a huge lobby and a restaurant that is reasonably priced. Like most hotels they offer a business center. A very nice place to stay :) Loved this place! room is comfortable and clean — enjoyed chatting with the bartender and enjoyed a nice burger from the restaurant as well. There is night parking lot security to help watch your belongings while you sleep. Very nice hotel and I would stay here again!

Did the airport parking. I called for a shuttle and waiting 25 minutes. I tried to call the hotel again and no one answered. It rang 20 times. I tried multiple times. I tried reservations with the same issue. Finally I happened to flag a driver down. No one contacted him for a pickup.

Our client, traveling comedian Andrew Sleighter stayed here recently while on tour performing in Portland. He was very happy to write back how awesome the property and staff were on his arrival! The room was spectacular, quiet and clean. There was also a restaurant on-site to get some food before the gig! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying and performing in Portland.

Our trip started with the wrong dates on their books. I give them credit for making room for us anyway. The room rate was $35 more than I was quoted, which still infuriates me. Even at the discounted price I was given, I'd never pay it again. This is the dirtiest hotel I've stayed at, and I travel a lot. The room smelled disgusting. The pillowcases were so sour smelling that there is no way I would have put my head on them. The bathroom had mildew in the corners. No bedbugs, which was a plus, and the bed wasn't incredibly uncomfortable. The staff weren't particularly friendly but weren't rude. The restaurant was passible, but the service was horrible, because there was only one waitress (wasn't her fault). I'd never recommend this hotel.

Had an extremely pleasant stay, room was nicely furnished, comfortable, and extremely quiet. Lobby, restaurant, and common area are large, modern, and the hotel seems like an excellent place to hold a convention or reunion. Will checked me in, was very friendly and helpful. I found the location to be convenient, safe, and clean. Parking was very easy. I will definitely stay again next time I come through Portland.

The customer service here was amazing. My girlfriend and I stayed here while I was performing at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and they allowed us to store food in their kitchen fridge, since our room didn't have a fridge handy. They also let us use the microwave at the cafeteria. The food at the downstairs restaurant was good, really friendly and funny bartender. The rooms were nice and the housekeeping staff were very helpful. We stayed for a good handful of days, so it was helpful to have them supply toothpaste or shaving cream, etc. It is about a 15-20 min. Drive from downtown portland, but we had a rental car so it was fine. They also have a shuttle to and from the airport. I like staying at these airport hotels when I don't want to worry about getting to the airport the next day. I would definitely stay again.

You can tell its an older hotel for which certain areas are updated. We got a room on the 8th floor which included a breakfast area next door that had self serve juice, water, pastries, coffee, and milk. People would totally raid it so make sure to hit it early. The bar has $4 beers on tap during happy hour. Sorry, I'm not sure when it runs, but we were there 5pm-6pm and got the deals. The beds are nice, the carpets are old, the reception area is really nice with new tvs, the room tvs are small. Overall decent Holiday Inn and extremely close to the airport.

Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Parking seemed iffy late at night, but we found a space in the back. We'll definitely stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Our bathroom shower was backup up. We let them know about it in the morning. When we got back after about 6 hours it was still clogged. To their credit when I brought it to their attention they sent someone up with in 15 minutes. Also the conference center staff has great potential, but the poor guy who was setting up our room didn't even have a blueprint of the lay out. He was asking us for one. Great guy but the people above him put him in a hard spot which he handled amazingly. But it's impossible to have a well oils machine as the saying goes in those conditions.

Second stay. I didn't book online this time and just walked in. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I got a great room and a good rate (about 10 dollars cheaper than online). Room was clean and beds were neat. Didn't have any weird smells. Bathroom was nice but it could use some new hardware.

The plus… the room was nice, clean, bed comfortable. Nice location. The down side. The day we arrived, we had a large late lunch. So that evening we opted to just try the restaurant in the hotel. The service was slow and we had to flag down the waitress each time we needed something. We ordered caesar salads and a kids meal. The salad. Were very very tiny and they forgot the fruit cup that was suppose to come with the kids meal. The pool while it looks nice and inviting was quite cold and they were completely out of pool towels. But luckily another guest noticed the fitness center had towels and they were kind enough to bring us some.

Traveling around the country as much as I do, I get to stay in a lot of places. There's a few brands I thought I could trust and then they've let me down. And then there's the hotel brands that are constantly reliable and sometimes surprise me on their higher standard of quality. The Holiday Inn is one of those great and reliable hotel brands. From spacious and clean rooms, courteous staff and fantastic and elegant lobby and lounge area. Whenever I stay at a Holiday Inn, especially one like the Holiday Inn Airport in Portland, I know I'm in good hands.

I was on Portland to attend the annual conference for the state chapter of my professional association. The space was well appointed four an event of this type, but the chairs were not comfortable for extended sitting and I find I needed to get up about every fifteen minutes. The event included a continental breakfast. I ate before I arrived, but I did try the coffee which was terrible. The buffet lunch that was served included done nice options including a steamed squash and vegetarian lentil stew that were both quite good. The noise level of other activities in the building occasionally created a distraction from the presentations. Overall the location was adequate for the size of the event and the food was decent, but I would recommend getting coffee before you go if that is your beverage of choice.

We called ahead asking for a fridge, they said it would be provided. When we arrived they said there was none and would say no such thing. Poor service, managers would hang up on us when we called for service. Food was good but the service was terrible, they stood around and when I walked up to ask for a menu they said they were busy and walked away then stood else where doing nothing.

Loved how clean and beautiful this hotel was. Staff was extremely courteous, even checked up on us later in the afternoon after we wanted to sleep in and opted out of maid service! King size bed was spacious and comfy. Furniture inside was also comfortable. Airport shuttle every 20 minutes made for an easy in and out from Portland Airport. Stumptown Coffee in the lobby cafe was a nice touch!

Here's one: Your told the shuttle will take you within 1 mile of the hotel. So I requested to be taken to a local convenience store around the corner to pick up a six pack. The driver threw his hands up and said something in some foreign language, and went inside to speak to a desk clerk. I showed her it was within 1 mile, and I didn't want a DUl because I already had a few cold ones. She tells me and I quote "What you requested is disrespectful. " Long story short, I made the 15 minute walk. Will Not stay there again.

Amazing is how I would describe this property in one word. I like how there is a security guard at night patrolling the parking lot. Gives me peace of mind when I sleep knowing my car and personal belongings are protected. I'm coming back here again! — — — — — I'm came back because I had a great experience last time. Great room, nice bed, comfy pillows, and clean bathroom. Wifi and other amenities are good too. Can't beat that.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at the Holiday Inn. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We were easily able to get rolling carts for our luggage and find well-lit parking for our van. The hotel is very trendy with modern features — the rooms were typical Holiday Inn styled (which, personally, we've always loved). We slept so well — the bed and pillows were welcomingly comfortable. We mainly hung out in the hotel, watching TV, and took a trip to Portland (only a 30 minute highway drive to downtown). We had breakfast in the on-site restaurant downstairs — it was great. It's not complimentary but still worth it! Great experience!
