Well priced and modern reception/bar area. The room itself had a textured wall on its longest side, something you would normally see on a ceiling or outside wall. This made it feel slightly cold and not cozy. Two singles were pushed together but it was a comfortable bed and the shower was lovely. The toilet was unusually high but that neither positive or negative, just noticeable. Overall happy with the stay and would go back.

Was perfect for my business trip, but I think it would be a perfect stay for any purpose. Great staff, great environment, great room. Very pleased. Will definitely use this chain of hotels again.

This is not a budget hotel except in price and it is not a motel. It is a scaled-down luxury hotel with superb service, lush linens and a beautiful bathroom. High-end quality fittings throughout. Totally recommended.

Its a nice place cheap hotel to stay in for few days. The four stars are for the room cleanliness, although I stayed here since its opening around 2 years ago. Its a bed and breakfast hotel.

I can't think of a negative for this one at all apart from the fact that there was a gin glass outside our door on a windowsill when we arrived and it was still there when we left in the morning! Those times fell outside of when a cleaner would have been there and we were tucked away in a corner off the main corridor, an unlikely place for staff to pass by and notice. If that's all I can comment on then the rest of the review should be obviously pretty good! The location is really close to Piccadilly station so very central to Manchester. The bed was a great size, the room was clean and fresh and the bathroom the same. The décor of the reception/bar area was not generic and was themed to the city but very stylish and tastefully done. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on how to get here and there. Our room overlooked Piccadilly so in the morning you could just hear the toot of the trams but the soundproofing was so good that that was all you heard. Not bad considering we were there on a weekday and in the room at morning rush hour. We didn't try the breakfast but we walked past it and it looked appetizing and varied! I would thoroughly recommend for a weekend break or if in town for a gig.

My favourite when in Manchester. Access able to everything and staff are fantastic. Rooms are clean and good and I always have the most amazing sleep in the Motel one beds. Snooze land. Great value for money. X High end experience at a fraction of the cost.

This is an excellent idea. Really compact room, but very functional and well thought out. Nice bar, nice breakfast. Special mention for the high quality bathroom fixtures and fittings. Really makes a difference. Very good value for money and about a 3 minute walk from Piccadilly station.

Great décor, conveniently located next to Piccadilly station and food places. Helpful staff and filly stocked room with all the amenities. Comfortable beds. Would have preferred a bathroom with a bathtub but the shower worked just as well.

Modern hotel with beautiful lobby (virtual fireplace and very cozy furnishings). Great breakfast. The rooms are small but modern and equipped with a new and functional bathroom.

Brilliant motel, really reasonably priced, really smart inside. We clean the carpets here and all the staff are so friendly. Great place right near all amenities.

Only thing we would have changed is room location. Noise from trams late at night disturbed us and prevented us from sleeping. Apart from that, a great stay in a lovely, modern, clean and contemporary hotel.

I went with my brother to see a Manchester United match and the treatment was exquisite. We felt very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. Is next to the metro station, in the centre of the city. Beautiful. The reception also has a bar, so at night you can take a couple of drinks without leaving the hotel, if it rains, what does rain in Manchester, it does help more than it seems, and the truth.

Modern, clean hotel in a top location at Piccadilly Train Station. The staff is very friendly, the rooms very nicely prepared. Small shortcoming: The rooms are small — price/performance is true though. The bartender is top and mixes delicious drinks.

Can't knock the hotel really. Decor is pleasant and the rooms were great for the price. Would stay here again in Manchester and is right by the train station and only a 10 minute walk down to the shops! Also worth noting is they have a 15% discount with the Q car park next door so don't forget to ask and get your ticket scanned.

Very comfortable Hotel. Reception staff was very friendly and willing to help me with the issue of language. If I go back to Manchester, I will definitely alojare again. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay came for the weekend. Had never previously been and came on a recommendation. So glad I did. It may be budget but hotel rooms fantastic, bed very comfy, showers great. Nice and quiet even though right next to tram line.

The rooms are nice and modern, the beds very comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast — it is continental style, but don't let this put you off — there is plenty on offer, including hard and soft boiled eggs, ham, cheese, croissants, and fruit salad. Add to this their affordable prices and fantastic location (minutes away from Manchester Piccadilly and the Metrolink) and you have what I would easily consider one of Manchester's overall best hotels.

Stay up here when working in Manchester. I have tried a few hotels around the area and Motel One and Hilton offer the best value. Motel One is premium value, even if the name makes it sound cheap. It's good that breakfast is optional as there are many better breakfast choices nearby — other hotels force you to have breakfast with the room, with it being very poor and adding extra cost. The rooms have plenty of space, bathroom is good with an amazing shower and hairdryer. One plug by the bed and two lamps either side. 2 further plugs by a small desk (although the chair for the desk is not suitable for sitting on nor working on). Overall for the price Motel One offers one of the best stays around. Perfect for anyone in Manchester for business.

Unbelievable value hotel in Manchester. This is a stylish, modern hotel with superb customer service and very handy for the centre of the city. Bedrooms are clean and simple but very well finished. The generous continental buffet breakfast is delicious.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of the city. Right beside the main station for easy travel around the station. All the staff were extremely friendly and were able to help when one of our party left his wallet in the room, only remembering when we had checked out and were at the airport.

Superb hotel with gorgeous, cool, hip lobby and friendliest, most helpful, hard working front desk staff. Best location especially when traveling in or out on the train as it is right next to the train station. It’s a great neighborhood and station also has grocery store and restaurants if you need water or a quick bite etc. The airport has a quick, easy, cheap train that gets you to or from airport/hotel/train station. The rooms are nice, well designed, perfectly clean and inexpensive. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I had long flight from Australia and was exhausted. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Young man took my bags to room and checked all was well. Didnt want a tip but grateful when I insisted. Room lovely and restful. Woke up next morning refreshed and went and had a terrific breakfast downstairs. I definitely would stay here again. Price good too!

Went for an overnight stay. Wasn't sure what to expect but the hotel is lovely. Really modern. The bar area is great and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

A great budget hotel. Decent sized rooms, well decorated and designed. No neighbour noise. Good base for exploring Manchester. A friendly and relaxed attitude throughout. We will continue to return to this excellent hotel.

It's good value! The location is good and the price is reasonable. The view from window is very nice. The room, bed and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The bar on ground floor is very nice. The bartender was talkative, and friendly.

Great rooms with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Nice and minimalist furniture so you can see if you're leaving anything behind. The staff are so helpful for pretty much anything and the breakfast was the best continental breakfast I've ever had, love the pureed fruit for the cereals! My room was great, only occasionally got some noise from the trams but it didn't stop me sleeping. Would come back again!

Nice hotel and good staff. Lifts were efficient at getting up and down smoothly. Room was good and the bed was comfortable. Shower facilities were good. The breakfast is continental and very good. The croissants are fresh and The meat selection is awesome. The coffee is not great.

Stayed for two nights. Very quiet. Don't often stay in hotels. The beds were nice and the bathroom was lovely. The shower gel and stuff was pretty nice too. However the breakfast was £9.50 which was basically cereal toast and pastries; even a staff member acknowledged it really wasn't worth it, pretty disappointing. Would of been nice to go out in the veranda outside our room but I appreciate health and safety and all. All in all nice stay.

Location: right next to Picadilly train station, which was perfect for me. For those who don't know Manchester, it's easy to walk into the centre from this location, and you're next to a transport hub to take you all over the country. Service: staff polite. Room: small, but clean and modern. I will definitely be back! Good value for money.

Soooo clean and white and fresh. My room was small but had everything I needed for 2 days. Great shower and fluffy towels. Lovely bar area too and friendly staff. Great continental breakfast. Who needs bacon and eggs. Selection of breads and cereals was fine. Plenty of boiled eggs — hard or soft — ham and cheese plus great selection of tea and coffee. Perhaps more types of cheese for non meat eaters.

Great hotel. Located right by Manchester Piccadilly train station, so ideal if travelling by train. Hotel is clean and very modern. Check in was quick, and lady at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Room was slightly on the small side, butbut very clean and well decorated. Overall, veryvery happy with my stay, and would definitely staystay here again.

The hotel was easy to find and only a short walk in a straight line to the centre with all the shops. Staff all very welcoming and the decore was lovely. Rooms very clean and tidy, beds comfortable and fresh. We were on the to floor and could see far, would definitely stay there again.

Good quality budget hotel. Rooms are well designed for their size, and make good use of the space available. The beds are very comfortable, but the pillows seem more designed for aesthetics than comfort. It would be great to have more options. There is also no enclosed storage space eg drawers or cupboards, and limited shelf space for storing clothes flat. There is a high quality organic and fairly traded breakfast available each morning, and I couldn't ask for a better location.

Location is fab. Right across to the train station. We were attending a couple of gigs at opposite ends of the city and motel one was right in the centre within walking distance to both. Service was quick and friendly. Rooms are clean with comfy beds. Recommended stay.

This place is 3 mins from mainline Piccadilly station. Hotel has only been open a few months so all the furnishings are in very good condition. Room was well appointed and I had the option of a Queen bed for the same price as a single. Breakfast is continental but also has a good selection of pastries. Would happily stay here again and the price is £50 cheaper than others in the area.

Located in the heart of Manchester, right next to the train station in Picadilli, it has a modern design and nice appearance, very neat, with quality very good price. A breakfast for 9£, international, pretty good and natural. Very advisable if you want to visit the city.

Nice change from your normal hotel chain. Clean and fresh room, small but functional bathroom with a lovely shower. Excellent free Wi-Fi which makes streaming TV shows easy. No hot breakfast which might put some off. Brilliant for the price.

Stayed here for over the New Year and I couldn't be more happier I picked to stay here with my partner, in a perfect central location as we were going to The Warehouse Project and it's literally not even a minute's walk away as its directly opposite. Interior is very homely and modern. All-you-need sized rooms with a really comfortable bed and great TV. Lovely greeting staff. Great lounge for drinks and snacks with spot on background music, overall this hotel is perfect.

Compact room but quite clean and had very comfortable beds. Good location near the station. My email was quickly responded before I checked in. No toiletries except shampoo/shower gel so I think it's more environmental friendly. A bit pricey tho.

Lovely hotel. Great design and customer service. Rooms are small but nice enough that you don't notice. Bed and pillow were extremely comfortable, we actually had a memory foam mattress in our room. Bathroom in room was very nice. The lounge is great as well. I'm not usually one to sit at a hotel bar and get drinks, but it's very relaxed — good atmosphere. Great value for money and in a great central location. Praise for the German design ethic and engineering that went into this place, it all ties together very nicely.

The Hotel is new, clean, with the staff very attentive and friendly. Very good breakfast for the price that you pay. The price of the room excellent. Hotel very recommendable if you visit Manchester. It pays the total stay at time of check in.
