Very clean and comfortable bed. Stephanie and marianne at the reception were very accommodating and gave us all the information we needed for our stay.

The bar staff were amazing, front of house amazing, overall experience top marks 10/10.

It is currently under renovation the exterior with scaffolding immediately at your window and noises. Got to know refurbishment of room starting next year which is good to upgrade since nothing has changed the last 10years. Highly recommend after refurbishment as the location is very convenient with train station 2 mins away. Staff are helpful and friendly ❤️

Had a great 4 days here and would highly recommend! We stayed for my husbands birthday and the team made the stay very much a memorable one indeed from booking to departing 💚 Great location and easy to find in the heart of the city Team just amazing and a special shout-out to Blake! Breakfast super tasty and a great start to the day Bedroom super cozy and comfortable and we had all we needed and more Nothing was too much trouble and we can not thank you enough!

From one team member to another. The staff at this Hilton were so lovely and accomodating. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely gentleman from the front reception helped with a problem we had with our room. And got us moved straight away, even though it was 10pm at night. They've made our stay a great one! and we will definitely be coming to stay again. Thank you all for looking after us. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Just amazing.

Been waiting to visit since Lockdown and we where there on opening day. Very nice to be back and staff remembered us from previous years which is great. can't wait to be back in July.

We picked here to stay as our first post lockdown trip. The hotel itself was lovely and clean. Great location in the city centre.
My husband is Vegan and gluten intolerant so we always put this as a note when booking (quite often it isn't notices) the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They had plenty of options for him and made sure he knew where to find them all. Overall a great experience, will definitely stay again.

Great service. Was able to get early check in. Arrived at 11am. Very accommodating. Just one point. Don’t know why room service coming knocking on the door at 10am to make up the room? At least wait until people have started checking out at 11? Happened both mornings.

Great location near Piccadilly Station, the excellent nearby Q car park and a short walk to City Centre shops. The rooms are clean & minimalist and have good beds and showers. Breakfast is always good and the busy lobby bar has a buzzy atmosphere. I come often and nearly always have to queue to check in. Today was over ten minutes. Perhaps they need better management for the Reception function?

Very comfortable hotel, great location and conveniently located close to Manchester Piccadilly station. The room was spotlessly clean, with good quality amenities. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Check in and out was very swift.

Warm welcome on arrival with a freshly baked cookie. Rooms were modern and spacious and had everything you needed. I was worried about noise from the main road up yo Piccadilly but didn't hear a peep. Breakfast was a buffet style good selection and fresh food right until they stopped serving. Whilst I stayed the hotel had a problem with cloudy water that ended up affecting the whole hotel. This could have been handled / communicated better by the hotel.

Avoid the food, otherwise fantastic hotel. A 2 minute walk from Manchester piccadilly. Friendly staff and nice basic rooms. A warm cookie on arrival which was a nice touch. Iron and ironing board in all rooms and hair dryer too. One star knocked off purely because myself and a few colleagues suffered food poisoning the following day. As a hotel — fantastic. As a venue for food this would score zero.

Booked a King Junior Suite and it was incredible. The room fit all three of us very well, and the staff couldn't do more for you. On arrival, got free drinks vouchers for the bar downstairs, free cookies on arrival, everything in the minibar free and all amenities included in the room price. Hilton definitely have the best Gold service!

If you are looking for a central and comfy hotel in Manchester, you came in the right place. DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton is a fantastic place to enjoy your stay, the hotel is part of a chain and part of the well known Hilton Worldwide, which means you can't go wrong with it. The hotel is in a perfect location just outside the Piccadilly station in Manchester, the design is modern and offers to guest a lot of facilities as lounge, bar, restaurant, gym and much more. During my stay, I had a standard double room with an amazing view over the street, must say I loved it especially because I could enjoy the sunshine coming from the big window. The room had a very comfy king size double bed, a beautiful desk just next the window where I could enjoy working on my laptop, a big plasma TV on the wall, a great wardrobe storage with iron board, an amazing bathroom with shower big enough for 2 people and last not least an Italian coffee machine which I literally loved it especially on the morning! DoubleTree Hotel also offer access to a gym 24h on the first floor and has 1 restaurant and 1 bar accessible at the ground floor. I've managed to try both of those, the bar is a really cool and chill place to enjoy crafts beer and chat with your friends with a nice background music.

Highly recommended. Fantastic staff that go out of their way to assist you, a noteworthy breakfast buffet and all round quality for your money. The carpet in my room had seen better days but it was clean and the cleaning staff was efficient. Loved the selection of craft beers.

Close to train station. Bar area really nicely decorated. Staff friendly. Rooms spotless. Lovely big beds and towels. Breakfast delicious everything you could want.

This is one of my favourite hotels and one of the reasons for this is the incredible and lovely staff that help make it all happen. They have so much patience and dedication to meeting people's needs and requirements and generally making your stay as smooth as possible. Excellent location too. 10/10!

We always stay here. It's ultra convenient for Piccadilly trains. Cookies on arrival. Gym. Newly renovated restaurant/breakfast area. Nice bar with sports and leather sofas. Very happy to return.

I was here for a one day course Sunday may bank holiday. All staff very approachable but not smarmy and over bearing. The facility's excellent, room very airy with pleanty of space and comfortable chairs. Refreshments of a high standard as well. I would highly recommend.

Great location, right near Piccadilly and Canal Street, and a short walk to the Arndale and the Northern Quarter. The room was modern and had a great view. The service upon checking in was great (even got a free warm cookie), overall very happy with my stay and would recommend to anyone!

Service friendly but slow despite it not being particularly busy. A good range of local craft beers. I opted for the chicken, avocado salad as a main and it didn't disappoint, not over overly flavoursome, but nevertheless less fresh and ripe. My colleague chose a burger and cheaps and was impressed. The outdoors offers a good afternoon sun trap.

Cons: Room very noisy, barely sound absorption. You can hear the whole night passing by tram. Another point is the not so rich buffet, which is quite expensive for the price. This should be improved.

Only stayed over for 1 night b&b. Service at booking in was quick and efficient and the room came with all extras you'd expect for 4* hotel. The room had fantastic clean bathroom and very powerful shower. Breakfast and service the next morning was A*. Only small criticism is parking on site is chargable @£12 per 24hrs. As a guest paying £115 for a 1 night stay, I'd expect this rate to be a lot less or even free. Overall happy and would recommend to others.

Very good location. The Wi-Fi is perfect. Gym available 24h. Breakfast is very varied and of quality. The bar has good atmosphere. Very attentive. The rooms are of the right size and the bathroom is adequate. Very clean. Very good option to be in Manchester for holidays or business.

Location is fantastic, come straight out of Piccadilly and you're practically there. The room was well equipped, immaculately clean and the staff were very pleasant. If anything, some small maintenance issues (such as moisture around the A/C fan) could be issued. All in all though, a great stay. We will be returning, as we have a few times now.

Only stopped in there for lunch. We were greeted quickly and the waitresses were very nice. Nice to have the manager come over and ask how the meal was as well! Would definitely go back.

Perfect for business stays right next to Manchester Piccadilly station. Rooms are decent and clean with a good breakfast. Would not expect much from the gym as is quite small but the bar shows sports and has a good array of drinks.

Very central so we'll located. Classy feel without being pretentious with it. Staff are nice but not very pro active, earing tables etc. Good choice of drinks but not what I would describe as Craft, as is their tag line. Would recommend for a casual drink with a partner or friends.

Venue is nice, we were in the function rooms upstairs for work's Christmas do. 3 course meal which was quite good but I expected something a bit special for 40 quid a head! Had a small bar and dj in the second room, we left asap.

Initially gave me an uncleaned room but quickly rectified the situation and gave some small compensation. Comfy room, nice facilities. Also the bar staff weren't overly attentive.

Check in was quick and easy and the staff were very happy and helpful. Room was cosy and welcoming and view was great. We had dinner in the restaurant which was tasty and the host was very chatty creating a relaxing environment, however when our meal was brought over the gentleman serving stated the wrong meal (we all make mistakes that’s fine) when questioned he said ‘well it all looks the same’. For a £27.99 Veal I want it to look different and taste amazing! Luckily it did. When finishing our delicious meal we were asked about coffees or desserts which also sounded great so we were very happy to have a look, however after 20minutes we had to ask for the menu as the server just forgot. This would have been accepted if there was more people in the restaurant but there were 3 other tables of 2 people. Overall our experience was very good. The Christmas decorations are on point making the place feel very festive and warm.

Top notch cleanliness, enjoyed the little details such as warm cookie on arrival and very attentive staff. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious. Great nights sleep. Would happily stay again for the quality of service on offer.

Attended a conference here the other day. The facilities are excellent. Lunch and the evening meal were very nice too. Free tea, coffee and biscuits for delegates is a nice touch. As you might expect (for a top flight hotel) all the staff I encountered were very courteous, polite and helpful. The restaurant and bar are very 'cosmopolitan'. The hotel is very conveniently situated directly opposite Piccadilly railway station so no walking through the city centre with luggage.

I stayed a night at the DoubleTree Hotel in Manchester. The hotel is a kind of expensive though nice with adequately sized rooms and all the usual accessories. I understand it is one of the best priced hotels in Manchester. Overall, I will recommend it if you are visiting Manchester and need a good hotel to stay in.

Great location by the station and gay village. Modern hotel with large rooms (stayed in queen bed), lifts are a little slow but hotel is not huge. Breakfast was good but not a huge selection — went when service just started, so possibly not had everything ready yet.

Excellent location near Piccadilly station (2 min walk) and close to city center (5-7 min walk). Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean but rather average in size. I will definitely consider staying at this hotel in my next visit to Manchester.

The location is amazing if you are arriving by train to Piccadilly station it is less than 5 min walking from the station, The Piccadilly gardens and Manchester city center are nearby just a couple of mins walking. Really good hotel, rooms are nice and bed is comfy. Modern decor and reasonably priced for the center of Manchester. Great location too. We even got a warm cookie when we checked it. Really good breakfast, plenty of variety and the usual hot food too. Room have all mod con and bottled water in the room. Certainly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Would go back and this visit was my second as before it was a city Inn hotel but now Hilton run it as a double tree.

Beautiful reception area with very friendly and helpful staff. Very easy to find room. Room itself was large and clean — definitely looked after! Air con, coffee, beautiful shower, fresh towels, everything you could want. Easy to walk into the city centre — which was great timing for Manchester Day! Only downside would be the noise — but it's in the middle of a busy city so that would be rather silly to moan about!

Really great stay. Rooms were large and well presented. Staff friendly enough. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. A beer in the bar was very well priced at £4.60 (considering I'd been paying much more at a concert that evening). Overall a very good night and would definitely stay again.

Greeted by wonderful chatty staff. The room was nice. The shower needed a bit of attention as the door was sticking. Noticed the hinges are failing. But the room was clean and tidy. Very nice sleep. Bed was so comfortable. Would stay again. Room 616

Great Hotel! Very clean and affable and knowledgeable staff!

We went for breakfast which had a really nice selection and good service then we went to the bar for a round of bloody maries which were expensive and tasteless. We had to ask for all the ingredients like tobasco and worcestershire sauce from the kitchen.

Excellent conference facilities, light and airy. Restaurant food is brilliant, only problem is that you want to have more and more of it.

Very nice hotel with good sized rooms. There is a tram line nearby which makes a bit of noise but there's not much the hotel can do about that. Wi-Fi is free and good enough speed to stream video.

Nice hotel with good bar area to have a low key meal. The breakfast wasn't as good as other places I found on a few occasions. But overall it passed.

My colleague and I stayed here a few days in rooms on separate floors and we both had a number of issues with the plumbing system. There were times when there was no hot water and other times when the temperature during a shower would drift back and forth which was very unpleasant. The rooms and restaurant were decent but I have to say that the bar had very poor service as we had to wait over 10 minutes on more than one occasion for a server to appear. The Internet speed and band width was not as stable as I would expect and I expected better. My rating reflects my impressions and compared to other Hilton hotels I was quite disappointed. Malcolm.

Nice hotel, close to Piccadilly station. No on site parking but overnight parking available close by for £7. Bar has good range of cocktails and beers under their Urban MCR brand. Decent range of food also available from the bar. Decent breakfast available for extra. Free Wi-Fi and a gym on the 1st floor.

The hotel was easy to find, the staff are very polite and very helpful as we accidently booked a double room instead of a king and it was valentines day. The rooms are very clean and the view was amazing from out suite. Also it is very close to many bars and restaurants and the train station, making it the perfect place to stay.

Only downside to our weekend was the Manchester weather still, it hasn't put us off going back and we'll definitely use this hotel again.

Staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming. Room was situated on 7th floor, was very clean, tidy and had ample facilities (tea making, ironing board). Shower did not have warm water, reception advised shower would need to be left on for water to warm up, I left the shower on for 30 minutes and the water was still cold! View in room was good, walls werent soundproof — you could hear the laundry team opening/closing doors which woke me up. Stay was pleasant enough, got the queens deluxe upgrade which granted us a drinks voucher (bar staff and facilities were exceptional).

Recently attended a function here. Venue was very nice, staff were friendly. Service however was incredibly slow, I think perhaps because there were several other functions going on at the same time. Also a very small bar with one person serving is not ideal when there are upwards of 200 people attending.

Won t come back here again. I didnt feel welcoming when arriving the hotel, but discriminated. Not worth the price I paid for. The room come with a cheap spring bed and a king size while the description said the room is for 3 people.

Outstanding service from all staff. They even sourced vegan and gluten free cookies which we were offered on arrival. Comfortable rooms in a fantastic location. Close to Manchester Piccadilly and City Centre. They also sponsor Manchester Pride and there are always offers on food and drink during The Big Weekend. Can't praise this hotel enough.

I stayed here for a weekend on a work trip. Convenient location as its close to the city centre as well as the main train station, Piccadilly. The room was a decent size and very well kept. I enjoyed using the gym, which is slightly larger than average. I would stay here again!

Charming with their freshly baked cookies, but lacking some niceties. No baths (unless you get a suite) and no pool places this below the other Manchester Hilton. Easy location, three minutes from the station, which is a definite plus.

We stayed for business at double tree for five days, we had prepaid our hotel and placed a deposit of fifty pounds plus provided them with our credit card for any incidentials… We had returned from a conference and to our shock we were locked out of our room because our food bill had reached fifty pounds WTF… the Hilton runs the hotel like it's a motel rather than a five star hotel, they treat their clients as if they were criminals and if they will do a runner … was very dissapointed with the experience, and will not return…

Everything is luxury about this hotel. Rooms are extremely comfortable. The Imacs in each room are a great touch too. Had a few colleagues complain about hot water in the mornings but I never experienced any problems. Also the cookie on check inn makes it that much better.

Spent a night here in at the begining of 2014 and the room was amazing and the free mini bar was abit of a joke but everything else including the breakfasst was amazing. Didnt want to leave to be honest and would 100% go back.

Stayed for two nights for the 'Sparkle' event and I thought it was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation was spectacular. The room was clean and beautiful, we had everything we needed and it was so quiet, I had two wonderful nights sleep. I didn't want to leave! The massive breakfast selection was self-serve and the cooked breakfast was perfect. The staff there are so helpful and friendly, especially Jordan and Jordan on the front desk! I loved everything about this place and will be sure to return.

Great rooms, excellent location (Right next to the Manchester Piccadilly railway station and a short walking distance to Piccadilly gardens bus station, and the heart of city centre). Breakfast was great, too. They've increased the price recently, but I'd say that it's still very good.

Absolutely rubbish! Far below what I would consider to be the hilton standard. There was a clicking sound coming from the ceiling all night long that kept me awake. On the fourth night the fire alarm went off and there was absolutely no coordination from the staff to manage the situation, it stopped and we went back in with the staff just shrugging their shoulders and no announcements. The alarm went on and off again multiple times for the next hour with no information from the hotel staff.
