Attended an event with my wife and son. The facilities were excellent. They put on a great selection of hot food and drinks. The location is ideal with access to the main train station and plenty of parking situated near by.

Very well priced, excellent apartment and friendly staff. Will definitely be going again!

Conference room has restricted views with massive pillars throughout. Really easy to get to and good looking place. Food ok not great.

Nice apartment hotel and very comfortable. Only complaint about the place is that it can get a little noisy and rooms do not block out sound from the outside very well. The main hallway is very echoey and can be noisy at night. Friendly staff and very good service. Apartments has everything needed in them including dish washer cookers and cooking appliances.

Attending training event. Room is small but has character and is functional. Location is great and staff are polite and attentive. Buffet lunch a little on the posh side for me but it was fine. I heard the trainer say the rooms were reasonably well kitted out but can't comment on cost.

Very pleasurable location for our 2 day training course. The projector in the suite was a bit old and temperamental though, had to struggle with a blue screen for both days.

I was a guest at a wedding reception. The staff were very friendly and organised although the quality of the food could have been better. The venue also seemed to be lacking in toilet facilities with guests having to share a single male or female/disabled loo.

Would recommend. Lovely rooms, comfy beds and beautiful inside. Really good location less than a 5minute walk from Piccadilly station. Went for a hen party and they decorated the room for us too and left party bags. Check out was 11 so didnt feel too early the next day. Everywhere was nice and clean. Cutlery and crockery were a bit sparse in our apartment but wasn't a problem and you could easily ask for more if needed.

I attended a work event in the downstairs function room at The Place Apart'hotel. The hotel is well located, just five minutes from both Piccadilly station and Piccadilly Gardens, so couldn't be easier to get to. The function room that we had was big. Staff were attentive but discrete, topping up water and table supplies quietly. Lunch was good quality and there was plenty of it, albeit a slightly odd assortment / grouping of food. Can't comment on hotel rooms, as stayed elsewhere overnight.

Had our end of year ball at this hotel. Service was good and staff were helpful. Food looked good but was pretty mediocre and wine was expensive. Beers were all some own brand which was both expensive and bad tasting. Venue itself is nice and staff were good, I would expect a higher quality of food and drink for the price.

Do NOT stay here if you want any sleep. I've been here two weeks and every friday, saturday and even thursday there was loud music vibrating through the entire building until past midnight. For anyone working reasonable hours this is unacceptable. Not to mention the parties of drunken people yelling and fighting past your room. In addition to this: — We went for a full day and night without water because all taps stopped working. — the milk provided in the fridge was off — the Wi-Fi was poor most of the time. Worst in peak hours, utterly unusable on certain evenings. I would recommend finding anywhere else to stay unless you're only there to party!

Good and efficient welcome. Spacious and well equipped apartments. Some areas in the apartment would benefit from update or redecoration.

Great location and facilities, but rooms far too warm, oven in the apartment didn't work and some noisy guests kept people awake.

The hotel is stunning. The apartments are massive and clean. The only complaint I have is the heat of the apartment. It was a million degrees without any kind of heating source being on. No way could you sleep at night. Air conditioning is definitely needed in the rooms.

Terrible, just awful, held 325 pounds on my account for two weeks after I had checked out. Absolutely ridiculous.

A wonderful example of a modern hotel. I stayed here two nights for a training course and could quite happily have stayed longer. I had no issues whatsoever with noise, which is odd given how many people that was an issue for according to these reviews. The exterior and interior views were both lovely, and the stag were very helpful.

I organised a charity event for the RSPCA and in memory of my beautiful Niece Isis Naomi Shaw on Friday, 19th June 2015 where 160 guests attended. Well where do I start. Dealing with Lyndsey when preparing the running order was a breeze, we had a food tasting night so that we knew the quality of food for our guests. Rob and his team were amazing on the night. Service was excellent and as always the food was excellent. All our guests enjoyed the evening. They all commented on how breath taking the room was with the amazing purple uplights and the pillar lights. The resident DJ Jordon was fantastic too. Nothing was too much trouble of him, he provided background music whilst we ate our meal and then played some great tunes for us all to dance to. I'd like to personally thank Lyndsey and Rob for their hard work. I will be bringing a large sweety hamper in for everyone to share.

Really great location in Manchester easy walking to Piccadilly Station (3 mins). The room was massive compared to a standard hotel. If you're used to staying in standard hotel rooms, this is a real treat with its own living room. Personally I didn't use any of the space but it's more like coming back to a holiday home than a bedroom and the same price too.

Great use of space in the rooms with a design in keeping with Manchesters heritage. The lovely internal courtyard gives an outdoor almost streetside feel to the front of the apartment. We had a great time here — The cleaning staff in the morning are pretty keen though so don't count on a lie in past check out.

If you like sleep then don't stay here. Nosiest hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. Disgusting. Allow me to explain, the building is a square doughnut shaped. The huge windows that point into the middle are paper thin, which affords you the added bous of being able to join in with whatever disco happens to be happening on the ground floor. We were on the 5th floor (out of 7). T he doors are spring loaded, so when your neighbours get back to their apartment once said disco has finished you get what sounds like a shotgun going off in your face everytime the door is left to swing shut by itself. We had the fortune of an alarm being set off by one of the revellers, which despite the receptionist repeatedly telling me that they were doing their best to sort out, still managed to take 3 hours to turn off. When a fight then broke out at 612, that only added to the mix. You can hear (and thanks to the terrible blinds) see everything going on. By 5 o'clock in the morning, the various neighbours had quieted down, alarms were off and apart from some occasional giant vacuum type sound I had got my 8 year old off to sleep. I managed this seemingly impossible feat by having my hand over her ear. I have to spend another night in this hell hole.

Complete crap. Rude staff who dont care. A complete s@@thouse of a hotel. Rubbish staff. Avoid at all costs.

I went to a conference here and have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large and clean, the food was amazing, for a buffet it was top class! The staff were helpful and cheerful and there was a essence of pride from everyone there. I really do recommend The Place, thank you for such a great time.

Visited Friends staying here so wasn't actually staying here but inside its a great looking place with some real good size apartments, much bigger than seen previously for similar money in the centre. Well recommended on what I saw and will definitely look at using these next time I visit. Nice and close to the centre too and the Rail Station.

Wonderful venue. Had our wedding here, staff were polite and friendly. Food was wonderful, all the guests commented on it. Venue is lovely and we all in all had an amazing day without a hitch. Lyndsey the events coordinator was a pleasure to deal with :) 10/10.
