Great location, very comfortable rooms and excellent service from the very friendly staff.

The lady owner was fantastic. She went out of her way to search for a room for us, by ringing nearby hotels. She then negotiated a cheaper deal for us as well. We were sorry we couldn't stay there.

It's not the Ritzs but it's clean a good price for where it is and the owner and staff are great people and will give help if needed, we have stayed there before and will stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights as we were attending events in Hyde Park. The hotel was conveniently located and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful and the room had plenty of storage, the beds were comfortable and good bed linen and towels were provided. Breakfast was made to order which is so much better than a buffet in our opinion and if you wanted more you could have it. Thank you Parkwood for a great stay, we will be back next year.

Amazing location for a budget boutique hotel. A hidden gem. Close to Edgeware road, Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Hop-on-hop-off buses, tube station on central line. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Relax on terrace or in lounge room. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place is clean and comfy, staff nice, breakfast lovely. Couple of issues. An outside balcony door would not and close and I was going out. A bit of a worry. The shower in the basement room is unusual, has a big step up to it, and very slippy when wet. Take a step stool and a non slip bathmat if staying in that room.

The rooms can be a bit noisy if there is anyone else in the hotel that wants to stay up late with their windows open. The staff are friendly and the service good. Rooms always clean, but showing their age.

Hotel really nice The only downside c the problem of soundproofing when the customer above or in the hallway walks.

Wonderful staff, perfect location, relatively reasonable rates for how close you are to everything. Walking distance to excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes, laundromat and right across from Hyde Park!

You get what you pay for, small room, could be cleaner even though cleaners come every day (even if they're not needed). Shower head was very unclean. But nice staff and excellent location.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It is a very comfortable, nice, clean and well placed hotel. The rooms are a bit small but is a common thing in London. The service and people were great. Is like living in your small house there in London. Recommended!

Great location a few hundred yards from Marble Arch and the top (classy! ) end of Oxford Street. The Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Tivoli/fair is also just across the road. Brilliant location, old style but comfortable and nice touches with toiletries, hairdryer and tea/coffee making. Breakfast was on the lean side but you can ask for more so I suppose they may be trying to avoid any gluttonous waste!? Value B&B in great and safe feeling location. Nice little home from home. Would stay again.

Something older and local hotel in Top Lage just off Oxford Street. Delicious breakfast.

Stayed on 2011. So close to a multitude of historic sites, yet so quiet and relaxing. I have very happy memories of the Parkwood at Marble Arch.

Little outdated, but the staff was nice, and room was large enough for my needs, well priced for it's good location.

Amazing location. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Staff went above and beyond. Made accommodations in the room for my 4.5 month old littlw girl. My husband, my daughter and I stayed comfortably in small room. Enjoyed a walk in Hyde Park just across the street. Staff allowed is to stow our bags in reception while we attended an appointment at the US Embassy. Lovely time will stay again.

Affordable nice and clean rooms in a strategic position close to hide park few blocks from Piccadilly.

Great little B&B close to Marble Arch. Very friendly and comfortable. Mattresses feel a bit tired but on the whole it's good value and a good breakfast where they will cook fresh as much as you want.

A very good hostel. Good value for the price they are asking. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The staff is very helpful and serviceminded, and the breakfast is delicious.

Location, location, location! Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff — always willing to help with any query. Included cooked breakfast everyday is a bonus. Definately recommend.

Excellent location, convenient to everything. Clean, basic rooms — small, but all the necessities, including tea & coffee things. Very good breakfast to get you started. Really nice staff. Be aware that there is no lift and a lot of stairs. There is also no AC. Overall, an excellent value. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Parkwood from June 2nd — 6th along with my daughter. The location as mentioned in many reviews is extremely convienient. The Marble Arch Metro stop, a small grocery, and pharmacy are all within 200m of the hotel. Hyde Park is less than 50m from the front step… Perfect! The full English Breakfast was excellent, great food presented in a neatly decorated environment. The hotel is clean and well kept. Complaints: I stayed in room 12 (twin with private bath). The room was near the top floor, stairs were a bear with lugage. Room was relatively hot in the evenings. No AC but was able to open windows and turn on a fan that was provided. I would certainly stay here again and recommend to others.
