I attended an event at Claridge's ballroom, the decor is beautiful, very classy. The food was stunning and perfectly served. Service was excellent, the waiters were very attentive, professional and friendly. It's definitely lived up to my expectations, highly recommended.

We have dined in the restaurant, had Afternoon Tea and visited both cocktail bars at this stunning hotel in the heart of central London. One of the most luxurious hotels in London, every visit to this hotel feels like a special occasion. The service, surroundings and quality of food and beverages is exceptional as one might expect. Claridge’s Afternoon Tea is our No. 1 favourite of all the Afternoon Tea experiences we have sampled in London.

Attended birthday cocktail party. What a gorgeous place. I could live in the Ladies. The canapes are a thousand times better than the ones provided at the House of Commons the previous night. Staff lovely. Champagne gorgeous.

Stunning location, so elegant & calm. The decor is breathtaking and the food is divine. I did ask if I could take photos, but there is a no photo policy. I had a set menu lunch for a very reasonable price and enjoyed every single bite. It was like heaven on my tongue!

I was lucky enough to stay in a couple of suites including the Royal Suite. At £2200 per night it wasn't cheap, though I'm told this was a special price. However, I can say it was absolutely worth it. Stunning! Food, service, space, decor, location, ambience. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Saw Kanye West casually, know I was in the right place! Restaurants are good too! Only downside — the piano in my room was not kept tuned — I hired the suite to use the piano. So I had to tune it myself. Otherwise great.

Had a fantastic meal with friends in The Foyer & Reading Room. Simple, traditional English classics done exceptionally well. The mash is like silk! A good selection of dishes for most tastes. The dessert menu very good too. Try and grab a drink in The Fumoir before or after your meal — if only to admire the architecture!

We have been staying at Claridge's since 1993 and on each of the many occasions we have the pleasure of staying here we have found the hotel, staff, food and beverages to be of the highest standard. The reason we regularly visit is the high standard of both the surroundings and the staff. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and professional.

I went for Afternoon Tea. I had a lot of expectations due to hearing lots of praise about it being the "best" in London; sadly, it didn't reach those expectations. Decorations were very beautiful, the tea selection was wide and full of options, and the desserts were great! However, the sandwiches are for particular tastes. And lastly, they had great scones. The service was excellent; and, the prices are what would you expect out of a 5-Star hotel.

Too satisfied, the surrounding is a luxury base, but the money is spent on the hotel, did not buy bags, of course, is not very short. It was supposed to be 5 nights, and the family wanted to try another high-class hotel, only 2 nights, and we stayed at peak August. The only price is high, 480 pounds/night, excluding breakfast.

My experience there started out really well. You come into this gorgeous hotel, you are greeted and seated at your table. Everything and everyone looks really fancy. You start reading through the tea options and are initially overwhelmed. Unfortunately, our server wasn't very helpful in helping us choose. She pointed to the recommended options without elaborating, didn't inform us that we could choose different cups of tea from each other and that we could choose a different cup for each course, and on top of this hurried us along when we needed more time to read through the options. She also at first objected to me keeping the menu through our meal when I asked and said that it would be given back to me the next time I need to make a tea choice, but allowed me to do it after I explained that I want to read through it more while I have my tea and follow along. Then the sandwiches and tea came out. The sandwiches and the rest of the food (scones and desserts) were delicious. The Marco Polo jello for the scones was especially delicious. The tea, though, tasted mostly like slightly flavoured hot water and really missed out on showcasing the varied, subtle flavours. The leaves used seemed really good but the tea wasn't steeped long enough. Whenever the waitress came to refill out cups of tea, she would pour the hot water into the pot with leaves and would pour it out into our cups right away without letting it steep at all.

Came for the afternoon tea; fantastic experience, service was very accommodating and unpretentious, and the teas were phenomenal — they were kind enough to let us try a few different ones, and certainly some of the best teas we've ever had — jasmine and antler specifically were lovely. The one lost star is a bit facetious — might be a good idea to better secure the takeout dessert box; as we were walking home and holding it by its ribbon handle, the box came apart and all our desserts ended up on the ground! Such a shame : (

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say! For truly special occasions, the afternoon tea here is spectacular. First off, the venue is amazing, as you'd expect. Such a great vibe, as it's always busy. Second, the service is second-to-none. Staff are attentive without being overbearing. And on the main, the sandwiches and the treats taste out of this world! It's pricey, but you get what you pay for; it's worth every penny.

Went here for a Sunday afternoon tea and wanted to post about the exceptional service and food. Agnes, our host, was very helpful and looked after our every whim without ever being intrusive. The sandwiches were delicious and the scones and cakes scrummy and plentiful. I have been to other establishments for afternoon tea, however I believe that the level of service and quality was without doubt superior at Claridges.

In short, this is the best place in Montreal. Nice rooms and front desk. Hotel restaurant is a French Brasserie, is very good. Everything was so great, including hotel employees. Over the past six years, every six months, staying at a hotel, I feel like this is my home. Hotel Deluxe, I think it's wonderful.

Something is very rich, but very relaxed, not square. Staff have very good service, very friendly, information-rich. Restaurant really makes you feel very welcome. There really good sandwiches and excellent pastries and scones. The tea selection is also very good. Upgrade price of champagne is good. Very good, worth it.

Classic and we'll respected hotel however on the last occasion I had to be here the staff were uber friendly but slow. Found absolutely nowhere to sit down and have a drink, even at 16:30 in the afternoon. I fear it's become a tourist trap with people visiting just because of its name.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Still the Gold standard of London hotels, there is nothing the concierge can not do from a difficult restaurant with a 6 month wait to the toughest West end shows. Central London location is in walking distance to Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park and Mayfair shopping. I have been going for over a decade and the charm & ambiance of the hotel & staff are Par Excellence.

Slightly different, but equally fantastic experience to provide Claridge Hotel in London, decorated in the style of the 30s. Even if the typical English weather will prevent us from admiring the city, certainly we will not be bored inside the refined and extremely elegant setting. Apart from the choice of rooms and suites, each of which has its historical name and other interior decorating, you should go there for one of several restaurants. English as befits the hotel, we drink tea here — the choice is up to 509 different types. For the cheapest room at the end of the month we will pay 1, 210 dollars. It will have 32 square meters, the huge royal bed, elegant marble bathrooms and lavishly equipped barges.

If you are either a family, looking for. (The DREADED) 'kids friendly, ' or you can't afford some of the the FINEST rooms in ANY hotel, pls; GO ELSEWHERE! Claridge's is a class act, not a 'Days Inn. ' It is elegant, and understated — it's not 'nouveau riche' gaudiness, but — if you are such, they'll still accommodate you (while grudgingly, they'll NEVER show it).
