I chose the hotel because of its location, right by the subway, and because of the cheap price.
Actually, we had booked the family room for 6 people. Because there had been a double booking but we got room for the same price a 2 and a 4. The man at the front desk was very friendly and out — and check-in was very quick. Also we were supplied with maps of the city immediately.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs were very narrow and steep, but it hasn't done anything for us. While the hotel is nothing for cleanliness fanatics, because there is carpeting, but the rooms were clean and equipped with WC and shower. There was enough hot water to shower knows, and the water pressure has also fitted. 4-room had only a very small closet, but we were only three and that we could use the 4th bed super as storage space and we had no space problem. The double room was spacious and had also a larger wardrobe. There were fresh towels and bath towels in the rooms and also a kettle, cups, black tea, milk and sugar. The towels, and tea accessories were renewed every day and even our beds were made.
When we came in the evening to go home on the first day, we were pretty durchgefrohren and in the rooms, it was also cold because we have not thought of the radiators to turn up when we left the hotel. Our wish was fulfilled immediately after extra blankets and the tip it was stubbornly abgeleht. The extra blankets were no longer necessary, after we had discovered the heating.
Breakfast is served in a breakfast room in the basement. There are white and whole wheat toast, that one can also toast in the toasters. To the butter butter and jam and also were still corn flakes and typically English baked beans. To drink, there was black tea, coffee, orange juice, and hot and cold milk.
On the second day, we have included our room key in the room and again was helped us by the friendly staff. CONCLUSION:
The rooms (especially the 4-bed rooms) are small and Spartan, but if you don't intend to spend much time in the hotel this hotel is highly recommended! The entire staff we spoke with, speaks English very well and was always friendly, helpful and cheerful. The hotel is almost directly to Bayswater underground station and the value for money is awesome!
