Fantastic stay! Comfortable and elegant rooms, very accommodating staff. They gave us access to one room many hours before check-in when we arrived bleary-eyed at 7 am off an overnight flight, and held our luggage while we toured London, and even provided special toiletries for the babies. Would highly recommend to friends.

Everything was perfect! Service and amenities were top notch. The location was perfect… a little bit away from the hustle bustle of the city, but very convenient to all the big sites and fabulous restaurants. The service provided was great. The greeting on arrival, the recommendation/opportunity to upgrade (for a small fee) based on the length of our stay and the quality of the apartment were just excellent. Such a beautiful hotel! Staff were super lovely and friendly and the breakfast had a various selection — all delicious. We stayed for my friends 21st birthday and when we arrived at the room there were 21st birthday balloons, a birthday card, chocolate and wine. They personalised our stay and made us feel so welcome! The room was clean, spacious and contained everything you would need for your stay. I will definitely be returning and would recommend staying here.

Everything is well thought out and staff are brilliant. Highly recommend. You can see that the hotel is well managed. Obviously a good “leader” and a committed team of people.

Superb decor! Loved the themed rooms so much, our enchanted chamber really made our stay in London complete. The staff were warm and efficient and gave us excellent restaurant and pub recommendations which made for a perfect evening after seeing a matinee of Hamilton. Breakfast was absolutely excellent too. So much more than a hotel, a creative experience which gave huge added value to our stay in London.

Overpriced Harry Potter room. Noisy laundry collection outside room at 4am which woke us all up. Cold (cooked) breakfast. Bathroom strongly smells of damp and so small is virtually unusable. There is no shelf in the bathroom. No wardrobe in the bedroom either. Overall a disappointing stay and I genuinely don’t think the hotel cares.

We've just returned home from our stay at the Georgian House Hotel and we've had an excellent stay. We opted for this hotel, due to it's excellent reviews, proximity from the Victoria Coach Station and the many amenities in the local area. Our youngest child, was ill for the second night of our stay, so we opted to amend our trip and extend it by a further night. Although the room we were currently staying in was booked, the staff were extremely helpful, considerate and manag…ed to put us in alternative rooms; which made our daughters day. They managed to stay in the Harry Potter themed room, which was absolutely amazing, you must see it to believe it! My wife and I are extremely pleased with our experience with you, your assistance and making us feel so welcome and we're already looking forward to booking another stay with you this Summer. We stayed here for 6 nights and it was the perfect base for our London area sightseeing trip! Very close to Victoria Station and a reasonable walk to Westminster attractions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great every morning with a hearty Continental buffet that could be enhanced with menu options. The room was quite small but the bed was luxurious … we spent very little time in the room so it wasn't an issue. There are no elevators and we did have to go up 4 flights of stairs … just a warning. The neighborhood is very elegant and it was just perfect for us! Highly recommend …

Had an amazing stay at Wizard Chambers. All to the last details make it feel magical and special. I loved the wizard baggage hidden under bed. Nice touch to discover. Room with bathroom looked like they are not from our era but had everything you can desire: coffee machine, tea pot, water and snacks included, robes, dryer and slippers. Wizard cocktail in the restaurant was very fun. 100% recommend to all HP fans and will be glad to come back.

After an exhausting journey with 3 children we were greeted at the Georgian House Hotel by Daniel and the team — what a relief! we had been quite concerned by some of the previous reviews we had seen on the site but I am really glad to say that we had a fantastic few days stay at the Hotel and would not hesitate to return if possible in the future. We stayed in the annex just around the corner — we found the rooms spotless, in good condition, lots of nice little touches in the room (as a mother of 3 I find very little time to " pamper " myself but on this occasion I certainly took advantage of the opportunity) :) There was also a coffee machine with various types of coffee, bottled water and the best addition was the Handy mobile which guests are able to take out with them (which came in very handy on the second day when we got lost on the way home) The rooms were warm at night but that is to be expected, it was the height of summer and — as we were aware before our arrival — there is no a/c on site, however, we did have 3 fans in the rooms which were sufficient … The breakfast each morning was delicious with fresh produce, cereals, fruits, cheeses, croissants etc and apart from this you can also order from the menu for a small additional cost. Overall, we found Daniel and the team very professional, polite and ready with a warm welcome — A big THANK YOU for all your hard work and we hope to be able to return one day. This was a very memorable experience for us! There was amazing attention to detail in the wizard chamber room, staircase, mocktail experience and the surprise special breakfast! Staff was very accommodating and obviously took great pride in their work. We also enjoyed borrowing the Harry Potter movies, which enhanced our stay. Thank you very much. This was brilliant!

We had a very enjoyable stay at your hotel this past week and despite the heat in London, the room was comfortable at night with both fans running. Liked your decor throughout. The staff was cordial and efficient and the breakfast was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay with you. We come to London often so will likely stay with you again. Only suggestion we had: would be good if you would keep some thinner pillows on hand for guests like me who get neck aches from thicker pillows. Thank you.

My husband, two children (2 & 7wk old), and I stayed here and couldn’t have been happier with this hotel! Their staff was PHENOMENAL! Ms. Mari went above and beyond to make our room and stay so prefect. Mr. Daniel was superb with our booking and Mr. Quince was so kind to us. Their breakfast was out of this world — I’d go back even just to dine for lunch, Tea etc.! We can’t wait to visit London again soon and stay at this hotel. Our children felt like they walked into the magical world of Harry Potter when we entered into our Wizard Chambers. The attention to detail was notable and appreciated. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast. Our visit to the Georgian House Hotel will be remembered fondly. Georgian house is about a 10 min walk (with luggage! ) from Victoria Station. The location is perfect for walking to Buckinham Palace and other points of interest. The rooms are clean, the apartments well stocked with cookies and coffee, tea and milk in the fridge! I have experienced both. The apartment we stayed in was 2 streets behind the main Georgian House, and convenient to have a wonderful, full English breakfast where we were allowed buffet privilege AND a cooked breakfast that included vegetarian and healthy options, or the bacon, sausage, egg, potato and beans that some people enjoy! The neighborhood is quiet, felt residential and safe. We were five women on a reunion trip, and staying in the apartment was perfect and economical. We paid less for this apartment that we would have for two hotel rooms… and breakfast was included because I booked direct. Can’t say enough about the Staff. Everyone we encountered from reception to housekeeping, to wait staff were friendly, professional, helpful and thoughtful. Every single one. This is my place to stay whenever I’m in London!

My daughter and I were in London to see the Harry Potter Play. I chose the Georgian House hotel because of the themed Wizard room which was truly magical, making our weekend extra special. We booked a Wizard cocktail class in the hotels' Pantry restaurant/bar which was fun. We also took advantage of booking the 2 seater red velvet cinema booth, to watch a film. The breakfast was gorgeous fresh produce, catering well for my gluten-free needs. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and the bedroom really set the mood for seeing Harry Potter and the cursed Child at the Palace Theatre (a must see! ). I will stay here again next time I am in London. I look forward to staying in one of the beautiful boutique style rooms. A beautiful hotel close to Victoria station (one of the best tube connections for central London) but in a quiet, clean location. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.

I stayed overnight in the Wizard Chamber, a room furnished in Hogwarts dormitory style.
It is an underground room definitely nice and clean.
The only consideration I have to make is the following: For one night we paid about €300 and in the hotel it was a continuous go of workers that from 7.45 in the morning they started drilling. We obviously slept very little because at 5 our drunken neighbors thought they would knock on our door (but this is not a fault of the property). I mean, a lot of chaos.
Breakfast not bad however I honestly don't know if I would stay here again.

We loved the Georgian House. The dining area was very good and charming. The room was tight for three of us with no place to put our luggage but was attractive with a lovely bathroom. I feel the hotel needed to let us know they were under renovation; the tile was being replaced in the foyer, the carpeting on the stairs was in tatters. And the reception area was behind a sheet. Perhaps a free breakfast or some gesture would have been in order. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and the location terrific.

We stayed one night in the Wizard's Chamber which was fun and then were moved up to one of the Belgravia Plus Rooms which was actually a good arrangement as the latter are a lot lighter (no wine, though). The special Wizard's Breakfast that comes with the HP room was appreciated. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate, breakfast is superb. If they could sort out the water pressure in the shower, I would give it five stars. There were major refurbishments downstairs in the common area during our stay. This didn't spoil our stay but I wish we'd been informed about it beforehand.

For anyone looking for a great bed and breakfast with the genuine London feel, this place if for you. The staff was always friendly, attentive, and very informative. The breakfast was also very delicious and they had options for everyone. Thanks for making my first trip to London memorable and I would definitely want to stay here again.

The rooms are OK and the large bathroom with shower and tub, although there are some that just have shower. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel was undergoing renovation while we booked 2 months in advance neither the Agoda booking site nor the hotel warned us for 885 euros 4 nights c is a shame.

I am always happy to return to the Georgian House Hotel. When you're remembered and greeted by staff who recognise you, you really do feel at home. Staff, as usual, were most attentive when needed — for example providing tea bags during the cold spell. Breakfasts were as glorious as always and always the right way to start a day in London. They were busy with renovations in the reception area but apart from speaking to staff in a temporary office, we wouldn't have been aware. I can think of no better recommendation than me returning each time I'm in London.

What a delightful experience! From booking to checking out, the staff was patient, polite, considerate, and efficient. The Harry Potter Suite was an experience my granddaughter will never forget (we won't, either! ). The beds were comfortable, towels plentiful, amazing shower — and then the chamber was fit for wizards of all ages! Breakfast was wonderful — everything about this hotel was first-class, and we will return as muggles on our next trip to London! Thanks for the memories and Kia, thanks for everything!

Had a fantastic time at this hotel, 5 minutes from Victoria coach station. Room 3 first floor was clean and tidy, very good size bed was very comfortable all mod cons, lovely staff, breakfast was also very good. As it was my wife's birthday there was a complimentary bottle of red wine and chocolates as a gift thankyou.

Could not rate this great boutique hotel any higher! We loved the quirky style of the hotel, very bespoke and bang on trend. The room was beautifully furnished, with great amenities to suit all. All hotels need some love every now and again, so the refurbished areas that are mid decoration did not hinder our visit, I am sure they will just improve the hotel further. The highlight of the stay was the staff, a very warm welcome from the reception team but the star was Daniel, who help out with numerous requests and questions we had, be it hotel orientated or London based, he had answers for it all! looking forward to our next visit.

A good value for money hotel in Victoria, close to buses and Tube. Friendly staff. Rooms are very clean with good bathrooms and excellent beds. The full English breakfast is very good. The breakfast staff is very friendly but often do not get the orders right. However, remember there is no lift.

Although very uniquely themed the heating provided for the room was completely inadequate. We had the two room family suite and we were provided with one electric wood burning stove to heat the whole area. It wasn't sufficient so we had to sleep in the same room. My son had to sleep in a dressing gown to keep warm. We actually felt like we were camping it was so cold, we didn't feel able to take a shower due to the temperature so we were up and checked out by 830 as we couldn't relax in the room. When we were shown to the room the person showing us said it would warm up when they turned on the heater. We left shortly after unpacking and didn't return until almost 2am. At this point we were all too tired and it was far too late to start asking reception to sort out the heating problem.

A fantastic place that takes you to the world of Harry Potter, a fantasy made reality, the staff very friendly, is near the Victoria station which makes it much easier to transport.

Did not go to this hotel, I repeat: we did not go. It is a hotel in which we have felt deceived, and have not been able to solve the problem, we have settled in a room in a basement, which was also small, in a building in a street outside the promised. That 5-star hotel (at the time of booking), now 4 stars, treats its customers like this.

The best stay in London! Absolutely one of the hidden gems in London, that we have had the pleasure of staying in. Enhanced by the enchanting wizard themed rooms. What a delight. A must for Harry Potter fanatics. We can not wait to return! Also. Super comfy beds, and wonderful hot showers, and fantastic breakfast!

Absolutely magical! We stayed here for a Harry potter themed weekend while we visited the studios, there is a bus service from there to the studios. We had one night in a standard room that was gorgeous. Then we stayed in a Harry potter/wizard themed room! I would recommend to anyone who loves Harry Potter. They really went the whole way with it from cauldrons in your room which is hidden behind a bookcase, to scrolls given to you on arrival, and even Harry Potter DVDs on tap! There is also a new Potions Making lesson you can attend for a good price, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Very magical and creative. As well as all this we then got a free wizards breakfast, wont spoil any surprises but it was very creative, and tasty! The lady working there, Ildi (hope I spelt that right) definitely deserves a mention! She was very friendly and seemed to work very hard on making our stay fun and magical! Her potions lesson was incredible and she made our stay so fun. All the other staff were also very friendly and welcoming! Thanks a lot Georgian House Hotel!

What a wonderful experience it was to stay at the Georgian House! My wife and I arrived early in the morning when our check-in wasn't until 3PM. They took our bags, allowed us to explore the area and check in upon our return. When we got there, they informed us that they were upgrading us and had our bags ready to go in the room already. All I can say about our room was WOW. Walking down the stairs to the Wizarding Chambers, candles lit, Harry Potter theme song playing, everything took our breath away. The decor what spot on. What an amazing experience! The staff was attentive, helpful and very welcoming. We highly recommend the Georgian House and we will definitely be staying there again!

Our overall experience with Georgian House Hotel was fantastic. The staff was friendly, the food was tasty, the room was great and the little extras were appreciated! This being a trip for our anniversary they had wine and chocolates waiting in our room when we arrived. The only downfall was the fact that our bottom sheet was stained brown right down the center. When brought to their attention it was immediately taken care of. We understand things like this happen and we were taken care of appropriately!

I absolutely loved our experience at the Georgian house! We originally booked the wizard suite which is truly magical. As much as we loved the room and how much detail and time they took to make it feel like you were in a dorm room at Hogwarts, the bathroom was unfortunately a bit too small for my 6'4" boyfriend. I talked to Steven at the front desk and he was more than willing to get us into a different room with a bigger bathroom the next day and he even refunded us the difference in price for the rooms. The whole staff is so nice and willing to help you with anything you need. The breakfast each morning is delicious and the room that it is served in is so cozy. Thanks to everyone at the Georgian House for making our first time in London a great one. We look forward to returning in the future!

The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was a little small, but it isn't a modern building, over 100 years old, so that aside it was well appointed. The bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was good and the staff very attentive. The only down side was, with so many TV channels to pick from but only a handful had good enough reception to watch.

We stayed for 4 nights, in the Annex. Room was clean and we'll maintained. Short walk to Buckingham palace and Kensington palace. Very close to Victoria station and many pubs on Warwick. Breakfast was great, a good variety! They even offered gluten free bread and cereal, which was a treat for me. Would definitely stay again!

Vacation in London with family in this very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood.

Okay hotel. Though if you're on the upper floors, there are no lifts and it's a bit of a trek going upstairs, particularly if you have luggage. Not very convenient. Even when you ask for help with luggage, except there's more than one person at the reception, then you're basically on your own. Worth noting if you book a room to ask for ground or first floor if you have any significant amount of luggage. Rooms were also pretty tiny, though quaint.

The hotel is in a nice residential area. The apartment we were given was clean and spacious. Well furnished.

What a gem of a hotel to find in central London that could comfortably accommodate our family of 6. We stayed in the Harry Potter themed room 39 that was exceptionaly decorated. It had the best ever double bunk bed for the children and a king-size bed in a separate section to the room for the adults. The beds were really comfortable and the room was lovely and quiet so we all slept really well. I can honestly say the hotel breakfast was the best I have had with fresh fruit salad, hearty full English breakfast and homemade jam to go with our croissants. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a truly great relaxing stay at this welcoming hotel so thank you to all the staff at the Georgian House Hotel.

The room was lovely… except for the low curved ceilings in spaces. The service was excellent. The bed, towels and accommodations were excellent. Soft comfy robes and slippers, coffee and treats left for us… made us feel comfortable. The continental breakfast was quite a lot of delicious treats. The staff was very kind and helpful with travel arrangements. They helped with booking outings and taxis. The location was perfect. We walked into the city with ease. A great place to stay in London.

For £150, I was not pleased. Location is great, but the room is not. It's tiny and the sound proof is poor. I appreciate that they use The White Company toiletries but I had to call the reception and ask for toothpaste. No complimentary water bottles and the receptionist could've been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. They'd be better off having the girl at the breakfast area as their receptionist — she has the warmest smile! At least the bed and breakfast were good.

Lovely and clean room, comfy mattresses, small bathroom (we can only enter one person at a time). Continental breakfast (fee for the English breakfast). Great location in central area.

The B&B is located in a nice neighborhood and is cared for, especially the breakfast room. The double room on the ground floor is very small and the bathroom sink is microscopic for more the room overlooking a wall… The quadruple room on the fourth floor, except for the 4 flights of steep stairs, of which however at the time of booking we were warned, is nice and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been to this hotel with my family during the Christmas holidays. We were really very good. Great location close to Victoria station and just very monuments (Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the House of Lords, St. James park, National Gallery) within walking distance.
The rooms are clean and very particular characteristics with fireplaces and ambience. Bathroom small but modern and functional with SOAP, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Daily towel change. Breakfast was excellent, served in a very pleasant in the basement. No lift, but the stairs are not as steep as I had read in other reviews. Anyway if you have luggage or you have trouble climbing stairs, you can get rooms on the ground floor.

A nice, clean and friendly Georgian building. The rooms have been recently renovated, the little bathrooms are perfect. There's no lift, but in such a contest that's not a big problem. The breakfast is served by gentle and efficient waiters, and is very rich. The Victoria station is at a 10 minutes walk, so everywhere in London is reachable easily. Recommended.

A late booking, what felt like the last available room at the price in London. And what a treat. Beautifully appointed room; gorgeous bed; great toiletries. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee machine in the room. In fact all of it. I will be a regular from now on. Congratulations to the owners, the management and the staff — this was a seamless experience. I stay in far too many very mediocre hotels. This wasn't one of them. It was lovely.

Great hotel, it has a great Wi-Fi. Its position is quite centred. Many attractions can be visited by foot.

Good service, the staffs here are very helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. Somehow the housekeeping service always left the window open after cleaning the room (mine on 2nd floor). Free Wi-Fi, tablet on the room is provided for browsing. No elevator though.

Rooms and beds are quite small but neat and clean enough. The hotel is close to Victoria station and the staff help you with directions if you call them. The hotel seemingly pride themselves on serving a "full english breakfast" but don't expect much — a bit of egg, toast, mushrooms, a sausage and some bacon were served — all cold. I was also unhappy about the fact that they have several rooms close to the breakfast serving area so you get woken up by the sound of staff preparing breakfast/guests dining from 6.30 am onwards. They even admitted afterwards that they've received complaints about this in the past but didn't warn me when I paid for the room.
