My newlywed friends visited here for their honeymoon and had a cleaning upon request room. They requested a clean once during the stay however there were three separate occasions where the cleaner turned up letting himself in and left starkly in a hurry. Upon leaving the hotel they realised £100 worth of vouchers were missing so contacted the hotel and they are refusing to accept any responsibility as there is a safe in the hotel room. Why would you need to use a safe when no one else should’ve been in the room in the first place?! Absolutely awful service from Hilton.

Great place to stay in just at the heart of the city. A walking distance from some of the best landmarks in London.

Smaller than expected room. Once checked in and paid was told only continental breakfast available which was croissant, box of cereal, breakfast bar, and a pot of porridge which cost £17 each! No hot food available at anytime.
Apparently there is free Wi-Fi but this did not work, you can pay extra to get premium.
No hot water for shower, we stayed 2 nights, complained at reception then given a key to another room which had not been sanitised and told to use that, surprising there was still no hot water.
We booked a queen sized bed and it certainly wasn't what we paid for!
Do not waste your hard earned money on this hotel.
We ended up leaving first thing in the morning without a cold shower and continental breakfast!

Worst customer experience ever! I spoke to a horrible representative name Kira who refused to help me. She wouldn't answer my questions, told me she couldn't direct me to anyone else. She told me a completely different story than any other representative. What an awful experience to have at a time like this! I was told I could receive a refund. Kira's advice to me was to call a hotel that she just told me no one would be there for the next month. When I confirmed with her that she wanted me to call a hotel that she just told me is closed, she replied "Yes". I have been told to fill in forms that have been sent to me that never arrived, and then later told that there is no form. My family and I have been staying at the Hilton for years, and I am so disappointed by this terrible experience.

This is the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed in the lobby carpet is stained not a first impression. Given incorrect room key and kept our luggage and could re access room. Then given different room had to get 2 keys to retrieve luggage. No room service or information in room. The furniture is screaming for refit in a soulless hotel. Stay somewhere else much nicer hotels around London. Very disappointed. Breakfast average pret around the corner and Sainsbury’s local. The food pastries doll size don’t bother.

After 30hr flight, warmly met by Raquel who found a room for me, checked me in immediately and handed me a warm chocolate cookie. So very grateful! Lovely casual dinner that night. Walked to the Tate Britain and Cenotaph the next morning.

Great consumer service and the staff are very friendly and approachable.

The hotel and service was nice, however, I probably won't select this hotel on my next visit. I found it strange that we were on the Executive floor and there were no outlets or USB plugs anywhere near the desk or bedside. We brought plug adapters and the only place we could plug our phones in was the bathroom. The hairdryer they provided couldn't be plugged in near a mirror so I couldn't see and had to stretch the cord because the out let's are near the ground. It was alright, but not Doubletree room standard.

We were locked in the elevator confined space for 20-30 minutes last week，there was no way for the button to react. We did not know how to get out of the elevator and scared me. From that day on, afraid of being in a confined space. On the night before that day, power off many times and many people scared, we could not get out of section space on our floor. Stayed in Double tree for 3 days, our holiday turned into horror memories. This should not happened in a 4 star hotel！

Good, competent front desk staff. Great location with easy access to bus and tub stops. Short walk to the Thames, little further to Parliament. Nice room but kind of small low on storage space. Comfortable bed and little fridge was nice. Good shower but weird toilet. AC worked well. Had the breakfast one morning, it was a nice buffet style well worth the $10 (pounds).

The reception was lovely, very modernly decorated. Check in was swift. The staff were helpful and the warm cookie was a great extra. The room sadly was where the modern decor stop. The room was basic and tired looking, pine furniture and the desk chair looked used. The bathroom was tiny but functional. The room just screamed business. There was hardly any "comforts" Hot water runs out at peak times, I had a coldish shower around 8am both days. The gym is small but incredible views! Basic gym equipment but perfect for a work out while away from your normal gym, towels and water station we great. The hotel overall is very nice, it is definitely more suited towards a business clientele than the general public. The note from the house keeping was great and I would consider staying here again if I was down for work.

Double tree by Hilton in London Westminster area was really well managed with nice staff, good food and peaceful and happy area near the hotel. 200m walk will take you too the river Thames and you can see amazing big Ben, London eye, Westminster Abbey all around with chains of restaurants and bars pub and lavish night life… Even I got the food at 2am, so really wonderful.

One of the best locations to stay. It's within walking distance to Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye and other tourist attractions. The hotel sits along the riverside where you can catch several boat rides to the London Bridge. Hop on Hop off buses, public trans and taxis are located on the hotel block. The hotel has two restaurants, a bar, member's lounge and beautiful hangout areas. You should give it a try.

We arrived early in the morning (having paid for the night before so we could check in at dawn) and the desk clerk was not as friendly or informative as they usually are. We ended up having to have our keys redone to access the executive lounge and areas in accordance with our status with Hilton. The room was small and plain, but we didn't spend much time in it so it was fine. The hotel has some nice places within walking distance and it was fine, but not outstanding and we likely will stay at a different Hilton property in the future. The property itself is okay, but from the desk service to the breakfast staff, it seemed the employees were more interested in talking to each other or just didn't want to be there. All of the usual greetings and checking in with us to see how we were doing, etc. Were absent. It seemed the employees are uninterested and had altogether forgotten they work in the service industry.

Arrived on the 26 July to be meet by very warm friendly conceserge who helped us into the hotel, very warm friendly help reception staff olexandra and a trainee amazing. Room very clean only issues are seat in shower for a person with a disability was tow small and slippery plus floor is a bit slippery when I managed to get back on to my chair and to me bed was a bit small. Brain Powell duty manager so warm friendly and helpful and has a good sense of humour. Breakfast team excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and as a Hilton gold honors member it was free. The staff was very helpful. It's a busy area so traffic is bad and the closest tube is about 15 minutes away by foot. We would definitely stay there again.

This particular hotel is located perfectly in the centre of London within walking distance from the Thames, Big Been and the London eye. It's also very close to the tube stations of Pimlico and Westminster. The rooms are relatively small compared to the price but it's full of the necessary amenities. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast is not that rich as you would expect from such a hotel.

Very nice hotel. Gym on the top floor with city view. Two restaurants on site, for lunch and the other for dinner and soup. Several taxis in front of the entrance at any time of the day. A bit far from the tourist attractions but quiet area and close to the Big Ben and a few minutes walk from the big wheel of londre.

Upon arriving to the hotel there was staff to greet up and assist with checkin. Checkin was easy and we got to our room within 15 minutes of arriving. The rooms are large and very clean. We were able to fit 2 large suitcases comfortably and move around the room with ease. The closets were large enough for us to hang clothes and jackets. Our room was next to an elevator, but we didn't hear a thing. That was absolutely wonderful after coming back from long days of site seeing and being able to sleep peacefully. The hotel is also by many sites and is an easy 5 minute walk. The tube is close to the hotel as well, but for convenience cabs are always lined up outside the hotel waiting to take you somewhere. The DoubleTree was a great hotel to stay at on the last leg of our trip.

Average Hotel for London. You Don't expect great luxury. The room is not huge and the view was nothing to it. Also The breakfast was not among the widest I have seen in the hotel of this type.

The hotel is located in a fairly central location, within walking distance of the River Thames and some of the main points of interest. In 5-10 minutes you can reach Big Ben, the London Eye and in just over 20 minutes Piccadilly Circus. The staff were extremely friendly, while the rooms and the property overall found them to be clean, well managed and well organized. The only flaw is the quality of the dishes that, although prepared with good ingredients, I found nothing inviting. Thumbs up instead for the well stocked breakfast.

We will be back and I have already recommended to my sister for her upcoming vacation. Had a very good stay here, you get exactly what Doubletree is known for. We really enjoyed the lounge, food was good but not overpriced and they had a nice selection of cocktails to choose from. Reception were very pleasant and helpful and the lobby is comfortable and welcoming. The room not big but this is London so it was ample compared to others. Housekeeping was not good; room was clean but not very well and some items did not get replaced or the garbage was missed.

Hilton is not equal to Hilton. This was only standard. Relatively small rooms with mini bath. Clattering cabinet doors and defective kettle. Breakfast was also not really convincing. For that near DerThemse.

Been upgraded in the HHonors floor. Room for London large and clean. Service very courteous. Executive lounge could tolerate some daylight.

Room and front desk get a good 4.5. Executive lounge is fine for beer in the evenings with cold cuts. The warm food was not appetizing, very crowded, not really the place to meet and discuss business, otherwise it was clean and we'll tended. The restaurant on the first floor above the lobby is a waste, the food was not horrible but not great either. Service was horrible, took drink orders quick but had to chase someone down so we could order dinner… The same for desert. I could understand if they we're swamped… Maybe 6 tables.

Hotel staff were friendly. We stayed here because they advertise having cribs. I guess over holiday they run out of cribs. The hotel staff made everything right by us and we received a crib our second night. Location is a short walk to local attractions. The room was average. Needed some updating but overall an enjoyable stay.

There are only two positive things to say: the location is good and he the lobby in gleam design. Everything else is not worth the praise: rooms seem outdated and are unlovingly furnished without any style. Extra bed is an imposition. Staff average and breakfast is minimal and very poorly organized. Shortly after 9am: 30h was already much empty, selection very low and the quality of the products and breads below average. Furniture in the restaurant looks good at first sight, looking closer, but rather shabby and worn. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Hotel, very friendly service and no problems with the language. Very well located, 5 min walk from the Metro stop and 10 min from Big Ben. They also offer very good free and unlimited cookies. If we go back, we'll repeat.

First time staying at a Double tree Hilton found the experience very enjoyable warm welcome from the staff room was suitable for our needs clean and fresh breakfast was good with a great selection between continental and cooked breakfast we eat in the lounge in three nights the choice was excellent would recommend this hotel.

Well located, comfortable and cleaner than the average of London hotels. Good also the Wi Fi and the restaurant.

You do not get what you pay for. Only paid parking, even for guests. Parking is absolutely horrible unless you have a tiny car! Rooms are small. Air conditioning is pathetic. Customer service is VERY slow but pleasant in the restaurant, over 15 minutes to bring a coke and glass of wine but they were nice. Had to get up and pay at the bar after waiting 10 minutes for the bill. They ran out of ketchup! how can a restaurant in central London run out of ketchup? Also no hot water due to technical problems, no reimbursement either.

Hotel very nice large rooms, In the middle of London. Great breakfast.

We booked this hotel months in advance through Pleasant Holidays for two adults and a 12 year-old boy. For some reason, the only room available for us in January 2018 had our son sleeping on a fold-out couch! There were dirty glasses in our bathroom when we arrived and the housekeeper didn't replace them. I even left them out on the counter and turned over. The housekeeper just flipped them over and put them back! Housekeeping also left us with an empty tissue box and only half a roll of toilet paper. I had to ask the front desk for tissue and toilet paper. The rest of the room was outdated, the furniture was well-used, and it wasn't clean. The restaurant upstairs sucks. Our room was on the second floor (or first floor for Europe) and I tried to take the stairs down to the lobby one day. One door at the bottom was locked and the other exited to an alley. I got stuck in a dark stairwell with no exit so I had to go back up to my room's floor the way I came. The breakfast was OK but the service there was hit or miss. There is no convenience store in the lobby. I asked where I could buy a bottle of water and I had to walk a quarter of a mile to a grocery store. All that said, the location was great. Only ten minute walk to Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. The location gets them the second star.

Well placed hotel DS London but no effort to speak French a lot of pat on the eye. Restaurant Lounge, not much to the map. Meeting Room BCP. Arriving missing a bed DS the room. Cookies offered. In a long room list of dishes but must call and got to be understood!

A beautiful and very luxurious hotel. The rooms are very clean spacious and cozy, it has a gym on the thirteenth floor that allows you to have a great view across London. The Millenniumbank Lounge a little less cozy but overall I can say I had a great stay.

If you are looking for a hotel in London which is Super Central (ca 25min on foot to Trafagar Square) and also has good value for money in London, this is the right place. What I really liked was the reaction to a complaint with my room. I was immediately upgraded to Executive offers (at no extra charge, a special praise in connection to the staff: very attentive and accommodating).
But also the "normal" rooms I can recommend. They are large enough (21 sqm), so you can feel really comfortable.
I will definitely come back on my next stay.

We stayed here for a week. Our room was clean when we got back everyday. The people at the front desk were very helpful and played around with each other leading me to believe they must like where they work. This hotel is in a fabulous location. You are near two different underground stations and within a very short walking distance from Big Ben, The Eye, bridges, Westminster Abbey and many restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent hotel, located in the vicinity of Central London. A 15 minute walk to many of the typical attractions. Very spacious rooms for the local standard and with a very good deal of food, drinks and sandwiches. It has a small but functional gym on the 13th floor that offers an incredible view of the Thames and the London Eye. Very good price-quality ratio. Recommended.

Nice hotel central Area but very quiet few services offered attentive to Accertatatevi offers that the prices in the confirmation mail correspond to your reservations on line.

Room are clean but nothing fancy. The bathroom is small and I am a small petite person. I expected more due to the price but I hear London is expense so less bang for your bucks. The room service food was good and for where I needed to be it was convenient.

The room is fine. The décor has already seen better days. Especially the shower tray and the sink look taken away. The hose on the shower head is leaking. The rod on which the shower head is fixed is loose. The location is good though. You can reach a tube in 10 minutes on foot. Westminster Abbey can also be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot.

Fine for solo, overnight business stay. Well located for Central London (bit of a walk to nearest tube, but that doesn't bother me) and also nice quiet area. Rooms are clean, but a little dated, especially the bathroom. Nothing really wrong, just not very contemporary. Hotel generally is well maintained and clean, and staff were all friendly. Food in Millbank Lounge was decent enough, but service pretty slow when busy. Of course, the 'optional' service charge is automatically added to your restaurant bill, on top of already ambitious prices. Bottles of London Pride in the executive lounge made up for any downsides elsewhere!

Fresh and warm cookies on arrival, polite reception staff, spacious rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Shower room really clean and nice complimentary toiletries, ice bucket came to good use! Buffet breakfast was spot on and included in our room rate! Would stay again in a DoubleTree by Hilton.

The Hotel is very well located in a quiet area but close to the main tourist spots. Breakfast is very repetitive and there is no variety.

Really a great hotel. The room was nice and comfy. Didn't have a view though. A very pleasant surprise was the infused water in the lobby. We had dinner in the restaurant. Another nice surprise there were the available milkshakes. Although our order got mixed up, it was still great and we like didn't have to pay for anything but the drinks. The breakfast the next day was also nice. There are some pictures attached. It was only a one night stay so we weren't able to experience much else.

I like this hotel, we have stayed here a number of times, it's just a shame that the "Executive" portion of the "Executive room" and the "Executive lounge" are sadly lacking. Our experience today has consisted of three room moves to get us into a room in which we can both open and close the window without needing to resort to the maintenance crew and their tools to get the window closed, we then found on our return to the room that the fridge was broken, so the complimentary "chilled water" was not chilled and it could not be fixed until the next day so it was warm water for us for now, and we were missing a light bulb in our lamps so we were unable to use the side lights… not exactly an "Executive" experience. When you add in a lack of anything to eat or drink in the "Executive" lounge at 21:10 (20 minutes before it closed) it really has been a disappointment and I very much expected better. The staff have been lovely in dealing with these issues but we really would not expect this level of problem with an Executive room in this type of hotel and it really has tarnished our birthday celebration break.

Check in was flawless. Quick and friendly receptionist. Breakfast abit dull. Same thing every morning. Rooms were clean. They didn't clean the roomafter our first night which kind of surprise me since we didn't indicate not to. Overall a nice place.

After a dream stay in 2012, the rooms in 2017 are now extremely used. You can only hope that the hotel will be renovated soon.

This hotel is perfect. Great location, close to everything via the bus and underground. Staff are so friendly and very helpful. A good selection from the buffet breakfast. The room is clean and comfy. Overall im very happy staying here and would recommend to anyone. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in an executive queen for 5 days. Bathroom was quite small, the room well appointed and comfortable otherwise. First night though, hot water was unavailable, second my AC leaked quite a lot of water, enough to wake me up and power to the building was out. After that, the stay was without incident. Worth noting, the hotel is conveniently located close to many sights in Westminster. Also of note, it had one of the smallest fitness facilities and least appointed of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Experience was ok, not exceptional in any way.

This place is very professionally run. The staff was top notch and helpful. I visited the bar, which was pretty good. The Breakfast area was excellent, clean and well stocked. The rooms were big, and beds were comfortable.

Bug clean rooms. Nice building. Good area. Good staff. 10 min walk to nearest tube. However, If you're coming from NA, the price for what you get is outrageous. Equivalent of $125 room in Canada.

The rooms were very beautiful and the beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and friendly. The building was spacious, bright, and clean, and also very conveniently located. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was very delicious. The hotel bar has a lot of cocktails but only a few beer selections.

Price/quality excellent. Clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast good selection but if you stay for long period like I did it becomes poor in choices. Location is not interesting. It is a residential area. So the hotel surrounding very quiet. Night time not much to do in the vicinity. I chose the hotel because of the excellent price value I got. However if you are in London for tourism, I feel the hotel is far from the vibrant London. I can't say any bad review about the hotel except the location being far from any action.

Clean, good location and just overall good value. Location: The hotel is located in a very quiet street of Westminster within short walking distance of Westminster Abbey. It is situated halfway between Westminister and Pimlico tube stations, but Pimlico is slightly closer and more convenient if you come by Tube. The 10 minute walk with luggage is easy albeit with poor pavement that will slightly punish luggage wheels. Staff: Straightforward, professional and friendly. Upon asking, the ensured we were located in one of the few rooms that had a view of the Thames. Rooms: Very clean and modern. Larger than average London hotels (which are not large). Would I stay again: Most certainly.

Good hotel. We offered cookies to the reach and discount in breakfast that not it had contracted. Room well, though you fault them views, to the works of the building of to the side. For return. Located very near the houses of the Parliament.

Definitely this is a nice hotel, is well located, when you arrive to the hotel, the staff give you a warm and tasty soft cookie.

Really excellent time. Special thank u to Josemar (reception) who checked us in and Anur (sorry I didn't catch name) who made our stay more special. Also huge thank u to Hristya (waitress from Milky lounge). She was so polite and helpful, Gabriel from R/S and also all breakfast team. All staff are so attentive and they do lots of extra miles to meet customer's expectations.

Perfect location smack in the middle of Westminster and next door to Milbanks Tower. Friendly staff, and the corner suits with a view of the Thames are great. Highly recommended.

This is quite a modern and clean hotel with free cookie upon arrival. All mod cons including an IMAC desktop in my room and complimentary bottled water each day. Breakfast bar was good and offered a good selection of food, the bar on the 2nd floor also had a good range of drinks including my favourite Tequila — Patron in a range of flavours. Plenty of lifts to service the floors.

The hotel is well located, good beds, the staff super nice, the bathroom is justito, but if you're going to see the city is more than enough ^_^, the cookies they give at reception are amazing.

A great hotel with very descent rooms, friendly and helpful service. Breakfast was on par. My group booked and used the meeting room at the top. The view was spectacular and the service was everything we wanted. Keep in mind that the sun — at least in midday will blast trough the panorama windows and we could not get the sunscreens to work.

We stayed in London and the hotel we arrived at, was to put it lightly, it was horrendous. So we searched and decided upon Doubletree as we were tired and just wanted a nicer place to stay. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and felt very welcomed and also got hot cookies. The room itself was absolutely delightful with a comfy bed spacious room and felt safe. The staff were incredible and couldn't be happier with how we were treated. It was worth the money you pay and would recommend to anyone visiting. It's also not too far from the train station or tourist spots. A must stay if you want a hassle free good stay.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but at the same time in the same Westminster. A good location to start sightseeing. It looks luxurious and the room is quite good: you have a iMac instead of a TV so the channels are limited to those issued by the internet. The bed was rather hard and the bathroom is small, but everything looks clean. It also has an iron and hairdryer in the room and many outlets. The Wi-Fi network is fantastic. And the employees very pleasant. It is recommended but it is somewhat expensive (although normal for this level and place)

Staying here on business, the location was very convenient for me requiring only a short walk to the nearby tube stations of Westminster and Pimlico. The room was clean and met my expectations with suitable amenities e. G. Mac pc, fridge, comfortable bed. The service was excellent and met my requirements, I would have no problem staying here again.

One of the best chains of four star hotels. Rooms feel nicer and better equipped than some five star hotels. You will be paying through the nose for any of the extras but you'll generally be well provided for enough that you won't need any extras. Clean, comfy, friendly staff. Free cookie on entry is a nice extra, especially if you've had a long, uncomfortable flight alongside someone who wouldn't shut up for a moment and became convinced that you were going to be best plane buddies forever and ever after you made the grievous error of trying to be nice to them when you sat down (for example).

Although aimed at business travellers it's also suitable for those staying for leisure and families on a city break. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are all friendly. Attached restaurant and café lounge are also excellent with good food and menus.

Properly to recommend. Would like to come back.

Great staff. Clean rooms. IMac in the room and free Wi-Fi. Only complaint is the restaurant and room service have different menus.

Not suitable for long leisure stays, set up for business only. No TV as such only a frustrating Apple monitor that worked some times. Best part was the breakfast, that was a great spread.

First time & last time-although I booked the biggest suite but rooms & suite are too small, it mentions an indoor swimming pool but they don't have any swimming pool. View of the room is a building underconstruction and all the workers are our view. Cannot feel comfortable at all.

Not sure why the best thing on the menu Thia Green Curry is only for room service. Apart from that everything was perfect from room to friendly staff. And you get a warm cookie I didnt even know about.

I like this hotel. Reasonable quality and free access to internet to enable late working. Restaurant is closed *short-term* for refurb I think which is inconvenient but you can use the bar menu until late. Room service menu is pretty good too. Parking available on site then it''s pretty easy to walk to Westminster area.

What an impractical hotel — 10 mins. To check me in; a computer monitor in the room instead of a TV; aircon LED lights lit up room so it was really bright and I couldn't sleep; sink plug wouldn't open. I told the receptionist next morning and she clearly couldn't care less. Steer clear.

Stayed with a few of my friends on my first trip to London — split between us it wasn't too expensive for the proximity to central London. Plus, we got an abundance of free, warm cookies.

Decent hotel I guess but really disappointed in the Internet. Absolutely one of the worst Internet connections I've found on my travels. Can't believe a nice hotel would do itself in by not having decent Internet. How is a business traveler to get any work done? Also the rooms are really cramped. Needless to say I will never be back. Shame on you.

2nd stay, still ridiculously overpriced, nothing of value or prestige to justify the price of this hotel. Reserved for a week, left after 1 night. Ordered room service, nothing is in stock, "sorry we're out of this and that", £20 for some chips and a couple of drinks (colas not beers). That included the £5 service charge for room service. I could understand if it showed in 5 minutes but it took 30 minutes. They should have paid me! Nothing exceptional, very unimpressed with the hotel. Find a Best Western or Holiday Inn if you want a standard hotel.
