Fantastic Hotel for a exellent price. It is not quite in the centre of London but in the more quiet vincinity of englands capitol city. Nice personal. Very well organized. One of the best hotels I have checked in. You need to pay extra for food (breakfest) and you need to walk 5 minute until you get to the next tube station but I would defintely recommend it.

Continental hotel in Donnington, London. If you want a hotel that can greet you with a person able to speak proper english with a smile on his/her face and not make any "smart" remarks, fellow traveller find another place!. Run. If you thouht that showering in cold water was something of the past? Well the Continental is clearly stuck in time. Showering with hot water or even warm water is as likely as the ivory cost winning the eurovision anytime soon. Now lets talk about the rooms. The rooms do have a very old feel to them… well because its bloody old and not renovated in any way. The toilets are tiny, I had to personally sit on the toilet with the door open because I had no space for my legs.   You have a higher chance of spraining an ankle in the cooridors of the hotel than skateboarding for the very first time. All of this would have been saved with a nice warm cup of coffee in the morning and a reasonable breakfast… well the coffee was warm… didnt tase of much, and the breakfast in its self was as good as a 3 day old cold soup. Well look on the bright side, you're almost in the middle of london and you're not staying in the all day but you do stay in it for most of night. And talking about the night, that is the time you usually sleep… I hope you have packed a new spine cause the next day is going to be complicated. Now lets talk about the price, we gave 800 and something pounds for 8 people and 3 days, taking I to account it was for new years. Its not bad.

The hotel is cheap and well placed in London compared to transportation, breakfast (very simo, leaving the only choice to have tea or coffee) is offered. The reception is however less enchanting, just as the room did not contain towels/soap for the shower. The cleanliness of the rooms is to be reviewed.

Good location, in the neighborhood there is everything, well connected by bus and metro. The breakfast was good, the Wi-Fi is good for 5 euros, we use it for 5 days of stay.
The room, with TV, sink and hot water, it is true that it is very fair for 4 people but only to sleep is ok.
The shower and toilet are next to the room outside in the hallway.
The right cleaning is a building with its years.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We think we'd come back.

Horrible hotel. To avoid absolutely. We were on the top floor, room very room, bathroom imworld and more than too small since the toilets are glued to the shower and to the hand wash which is glued also to the door so you can not even close the door of the bathroom since otherwise we have the Tê You. Dilapidated furniture. Front door not secure. It smells like cigarettes, because people smoke inside the house and have a lot of cigarette burns on the furniture and sheets. In addition to top it all they were doing the painting (from the cache misery) so drips everywhere escabots and paint pots to hang out on the stairs…

I do not advice to anyone it is dilapidated room and I dare not say the following because there is long to say so do not go especially not…

It comes out very cheap as it is in a very good area of London. But the hostel is very old. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, there are no towels or soap in the private bathroom. There is no elevator. Breakfast included quite good.
