Very nice family-run hotel with very tasty Greek food. Newly renovated rooms and bathroom new. Walking distance to Matala. Mosquito net recommended.

+ Very nice beds & rooms and friendly staff. Parking is available, and the beach is only 10 — 15 min on foot.

— Pool is dirty and has come of age. Food was ok, but hardly any choice for dinner. I found breakfast better.

Valley Village is a wonderful family hotel. The beds are the most comfortable I have slept in on Crete. The staff are warm and welcoming and cannot do enough for their guests. I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly and very flexible staff. Breakfast and dinner are provided to order for groups even outside meal times, such as breakfast at 4am 30 or dinner after 11pm!

A somewhat aging hotel complex with super nice employees. We felt very comfortable. And the beds were surprisingly good. Will definitely come back,

Wouldn't give so many stars for me privately if I hadn't been here many times, well-family-run house in the centre of Matala freshly prepared food dreamlike views of bungalow or room main house would now not necessarily mine but spot all Ways given to change this very friendly staff daily fresh towels kettle in the room television with three German program which make mosquitoes at the beginning a bit height but quickly gets used to the fact that you can not get much blood to Avail-has.

Is a good place for children. Our son had a lot of fun. But also as parents one comes at his expense.

We had a Room in the Main House. Renovation advised. Since our Room was above the Terrace, it was sometimes quite noisy in the evening. With an open Balcony door, you could only fall asleep with Earplugs. Sometimes no Water came out of the Pipe. Breakfast was delicious. Everything you need and always fresh Fruit. Sometimes five different Varieties. Deduction is available at Dinner, as only one Main Course plus Side dishes. For my Husband as a non-meat Eater, there were often only the Side dishes and Salad. Salad Buffet including Zaziki and Organic Olive oil were delicious though. Soup usually didn't taste. Dessert didn't interest me. Once a week is grilled and once there is Fish. Likewise, once a Week live Music, which was great. Free WI-FI in the Lobby. Very friendly Staff, only the Boss at the Reception made a somewhat grumpy Impression.

Great location, well kept and quiet rooms, in the morning you expect a good and abundant breakfast. 10 minutes walk and you are at the famous beach of Matala. Recommended!

The Hotel is located about 1 km from the beach and the village of Matala, on the track, but well run. The double rooms in the main building are old and could use a renovation. The bathroom is also old and in need of renovation but is equipped with all you needed. Unfortunately, the water, which is supposedly on the water supply and not on the Hotel lacked in between, completely. The phones with the dial in Orange were a blast. It has Parking were sufficiently available. The food both at Breakfast and in the Evening was tasty and it was quickly determines everything. The staff was nice and helpful.

Family run small hotel. The place where we have been feeling very comfortable for years and therefore always like to come back in advance. Ideal location just outside of Matala, one of the few hotels with family rooms.

Very nice hotel. A little far from the centre (+ — 20 ' on foot). We stayed in a very spacious bungalow.

Modern and newly refurbished Suite. Spacious bathroom with bath and shower. Access to a private garden with deckchairs. Varied and abundant breakfast. Friendly staff that speaks English and German.

Good hotel with pool, very friendly staff. Wifi does not work however and walls are extremely thin. Power sockets and electricity were not working properly in the room. Bathroom and shower were great, certainly shortly renovated. Buffet/a la carte choice were a bit limited, breakfast was ok but coffee tasted like water. All in all, ok for one night but I wouldn't spend a whole week there.

Cute. Spacious rooms but not a bit of maintenance to do. Pretty clean. In June, €50 for double room.

Very pleasant hotel. Excellent food! home made fresh meals. Fantastic atmosphere. Helpful stuff. It's 11 minutes of easy walking on flat terrain to main street and the beach. But place is very quiet. There is not ANY disco under the windows for whole night. Good for resting. You have all you need in the hotel. Drink bar, restaurant, garden swimming pool 20 meters nice under the palms. Few times a week there is an event in restaurants garden — concert, movie etc. It's not so noisy and crowded like the centre of the village. Its like countryside Greece. But close to main square. and Matala is very beautyfull place with special climate unique atmosphere. I recommend. Best regards!

Simply beautiful! The best Hotel in Matala. Very friendly & attentive staff, good varied food and all in a very clean condition. Great places to visit in the surrounding area and many beautiful beaches nearby. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to next Time.
