Very nice hotel, in absolute calm between mounting and other fantastic landscapes. Large pool. Large common space.
Warm welcome and very helpful.
We recommend this hotel if you want to spend a good holiday, beach and city on foot.

Tolles Hotel in toller Lage :)

My wife and I are here for the second time. Staff as always very very friendly. Room all right. You have a bed to sleep in, a wardrobe, a bathroom, shower, a balcony. Eat plentiful and a lot. Good drinks. We are here for holidays and want our fun. We'll be back.

I always like to get here. The top floor has been rebuilt and looks great … Matala is simply worth a trip … The hotel, too, has made itself.

The Matala Bay Hotel is one of the hotels you can't recommend to anyone. The 3 * * * Touted by Germany are not eligible in any way whatsoever.
In particular, the guesthouse on the opposite side is simply in a miserable condition.
Furniture belonging to the category bulky waste. Door locks that can cause serious injury. Lack of shower curtain, missing or dismantled storage in the bathroom… The pool at the hotel has a filthy Speckrand, on the floor lies dirt… The outside shower lacks the cover on a drain, there is a hole (danger of injury), to the right of the pool you can see a metal plate (cover of the filter system) which is bent at one corner about 10 cm upward (also danger of injury), everywhere sprouts Weeds, the lawn at the pool is unkempt… The tables on the outside are unkempt (on the plate Lackrisse, partly large area) … Forms consequences. Quite loud both from the street and in the rooms. In the bathrooms there is a direct connection via a vent shaft to the neighboring rooms, a conversation with the neighbors goes superior; —) )
Of course, you can also get all the noise very well!
The uninsulated drain pipe from the rooms overlying it also runs through this shaft.
The rooms are bald, the beautiful flowers in the room photos of the hotel are only available in the photos of the homepage.
Typical Greek fatty food. Unfortunately, there was no fish. Vegetables were overcooked.
The coffee from a vending machine mies. The house cocktail lacked the cream listed in the ingredients. The pool bar had already closed at the end of October.
No recommendation.

Friendly staff Every week they arranging live music night! A lot of fun and dancing. Nice cocktails at the bars.

Family hotel with new renovated rooms. The reception is modern and the staff very friendly.
