We just stayed 3 nights in this hotel but luckily it was just to sleep.
We had a room in the basement where the heat was sweltering.
The room was very small dirty, the joints of the bath sale were black…
For breakfast just a few bread spreads of orange juice and coffee.
In short fortunately this hotel is very well located this is the only good thing we will remember.

We stayed 3 nights here in the middle of summer. It is ideally located for getting around (near Victoria and Pimlinco Station). We only went back to sleep.
The rooms are small and there is no storage. It was very hot. Lack of ventilation in the rooms. It is possible to request a fan at the reception.
Breakfast is mediocre, don't expect the typical English buffet. There is just enough not to leave on an empty stomach (bread crumbs, butter, jam). The restaurant is small and it was sweltering heat (located in the basement).
I would recommend this hotel to stay a few nights.

We arrived on the 14th July, our room was ready on arrival & was a nice size for 2 adults, we had tea & coffee in the room which is a nice compliment. My husband & I was very unhappy with the continental breakfast, very basic, bread, a small plate of cheese, tea or coffee, small glasses of juice, very little cereal. If you wanted a cooked breakfast there was a charge of £4.50. The lift is very, very slow, we were on the 5th floor so had to use the lift.
I have stayed in various hotels in Victoria & the price included a cooked breakfast.

Rooms are nice and updated for a short stay. However, the breakfast was a massive disappointed. When booking a room with a breakfast you would more than likely expect a full English? Even in Europe, so being in London I was looking forward to a proper full English especially when we didn’t get in till early hours so it was well needed. But instead the breakfast was toast, cereal (2 choices and porridge), cheap beans! The full English was another £7.50 pp. Also I don’t understand the need for all the rugs in the Hall ways and rooms, the flooring is laminated so makes it a trip and slip hazard.

I rang last night and was told I had 10 minutes to walk from my location to 'Huttons', or the room would go. I was told to head for 'Belgrave STREET' by the receptionist. I then began a 4 hour journey in the pooring rain, looking for a place that didn't exist. I rang back 9 times, asking if she was absolutely sure it was a 'street' and not a place, road, or square and she again told me 'street'. During one conversation she put me on hold for 10 minutes, after I'd explained I had little credit and battery power. On arrival I did question why the postcode wasn't given in the first phone call and not the last and why she didn't use a computer to explain my location (which I gave all 8 times). I was told she would see me when she was ready and almost refused the room, until I protested I wasn't leaving till I'd made calls, charged my phone and spoken to a senior. I was informed there wasn't a senior in the building, then offered my room quickly. I had been in the rain for 4 hours, your hotel is on 'Belgrave ROAD', not street, please explain this to your receptionist and give her some advice, guidance and training on customer service and using a device to give the hotel location. The hotel was clean, as was the room, had I have been able to access the hotel room 4 hours earlier, it might have been worth the £130 fee. There was no coffee and tea making equipment in the room, but I was happy with the continental breakfast. What's going on guy's?

Stayed here a few times. Nice place staff helpful. Budget hotel. Convenient for all the theatres, sightseeing. Buses stop outside 5 minute walk to tube station Victoria mainline station. 10 minute walk.

The hotel is well located… it's near Victoria Station where you can get the train or the underground to go anywhere you want. The room is tidy and clean. There is a TV if you want to watch something. There isn't any air conditioning, so if you are hot the reception can give you a fan that won't help much because it's really small… really small! Receptionists don't like to be bothered… if you have a question they will answer and that's it. There are 2 different kind of breakfast… continental (bread, cheese, orange juice that could be at least cold, coffee, milk, tea and jam), and if you pay more you get eggs, ham and sausages. Well, It's a good hotel overall.

The hotel seemed perfectly fine and I found the service was very good. I remember feeling very itchy during the night. When I woke up in the morning I was covered in ants. There was an ants nest inside the wall and a lot were coming out into the room. All over beds, clothes ect. Although I understand this is quite a one off, it really put a downer on the experience. The guy on the reception said sorry and was going to ask someone to have a look. I emailed about the issue and I was told it happens when there is food in the room and I can have a £12 reduction on my next stay. As we didn’t have any food in the room I can only assume the cleaning wasn’t done thoroughly. I’m not after a free ride but thought £12 didn’t cover our disappointment and spoiled experience. I asked for a 50% discount on a stay for the night, but had no response.

Small Hotel in the central area which offers pretty much everything you need. It was a very nice location. I've been in this hotel 2 times and will definitely return in the future. Compared to other hotels in the same category and area This is which I prefer. Try it!

It's not that bad. Comfortable room but small. No bathtub but a shower. Wi-Fi plugged into a Christmas Garland so unstable, TV broke. Breakfast rather poor (bread of Crumb with butter or jam…) light for the price… In short a hotel or we just go to sleep, not for comfort…

The room is quite small, but seemed clean enough. No microwave or fridge, so that's a little inconvenient. Only three stars because check-in wasn't until 2 (but that wasn't published anywhere or noted in my booking email so it caused a big inconvenience). We're only staying two nights, so it's tolerable for the price.

Good location, near to the most popular place even by walk. But room was very small and cold as long as reception were asked for heated it up. Ah and they have rooms in the basement too (be aware! ), they are absolutely not cozy mostly because of the view on some basement wall…

Practical Hotel without frills. Just to sleep. Excellent location for visiting central London.

Small but adequate for two people. Clean… allowed early check in. Located in populated area. Felt safe. Close to public transportation.

A hotel not bad the lady at the reception is very nice. She was able to adapt to our level of English.
Negative Point: The Gentleman of the day welcome who is little rider, and who cares if we do not understand. Does not adapt at all to its clientele!
Breakfast is to be improved as place too cramped, not enough seating and not enough choice. I would have liked to taste a real English breakfast but I was not offered…! Do not expect pastries for continental breakfast, only bread crumbs to fry oneself with jam.

Hotel very well located between the metro station Victoria and Pimlico. Very nice exterior typical English facade, and the interior is rather modern. The rooms are accessible either by lift or by the staircase. We were on the 2nd floor with balcony (accessible by the window door of the room) overlooking the street (passing by but not very noisy). Small room But we were not there often. The bathroom is also small but functional. The towels are changed every day. On the other hand there is no hair dryer (can be available at the reception?! ). Only small downside to this hotel: the rooms are not very well insulated and we heard the people from the next room.
The continental breakfast is served in a buffet. For a typical English breakfast you will have to ask the waitresses to prepare it (it costs 7, £5). The staff are very nice and will come back without a problem in this hotel!

Well placed for a reasonable price. Quality of the rooms to be desired, be careful not to meet you in the basement right next to the cafeteria! Otherwise change quickly;)

The plus side to this hotel is that it’s close to an Underground station. Other than that, it’s not that great. Very small rooms and thin walls. The front desk attendants were friendly and welcoming, and it’s a very clean and quaint hotel, but don’t expect to get much rest.

The most: near the city centre and Breakfast with crumpets.
The least: approximate cleanliness and a lot of noise. The breakfast room is super noisy in the morning (hard to wake up with that)

Absolutely avoid the rooms on the ground floor. The reception is right behind you will not sleep at night. To have tried another room at the 5 °, also forget the shower. The temperature of the tiny bathroom is similar to the outside for the good and simple reason that there is no heating.
The bedding is really not at the height of a 2 star.
Oh yes, the renovation works at 7:30 a. M. In front of the interior window (I specify for the rooms in the DRC) with the workers who are doing it is rather atypical.

Nice and accommodating, the rooms are nicely decorated but not much room to be honest. The walls are very thin so some people didn't have much privacy. I would say I'm glad we were on the top floor as its very creeky and could imagine very noisy. However in terms of value for money, location, access to all that London has to offer its a great location. If you want to be in traditional London you don't get a street that is much more traditional than this one. 5 story white terrace houses wide streets and we were even there when it snowed.

Good value for money Well connected. Breakfast poor but good. The rooms are very comfortable. No minibar. Ideal to visit London and go back to sleep.

Entrance to the hotel is clean, well kept and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The room itself is small with a double and single bed and a little space to walk around them. The linen is clean and the beds well made. There is some memory foam atop the mattress which increased comfort of pics night sleep The bathroom was small but clean (with the exception of the shower head which could use a scrub) Tv in room mounted quote high but working. The price can't be beaten!

A 10-minute walk from Victoria Station and 5 from Pimlico Metro. With restaurants and supermarkets next door. No frills but clean and quiet.

Rooms are small. Breakfast was ok. Few slices of toast or English muffins with butter and jelly. Fruit salad and coffee/juice. Perfect for a weekend getaway in London like we did, just to shower and sleep. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Would definitely come back only if a bigger room or even shower was available (I’m 6’5 300 pounds lol). Short walk to Victoria station and about a 20 minute walk to Westminster Abbey/ Big Ben/ parliament and an amazing view of the London eye!

Very good in terms of location and design of the hotel. The room was small but cozy, perfect to rest and relax, after a long day of sightseeing in London.

It is close to city center. Rooms are clean and good enough to stay for a short time. Transportation to the hotel is well. It is a little three star hotel. If you will be in london to work outside all day and just will be there to sleep and rest good enough.

One star is generous and only because of the area. The hotel itself was a big disappointment. Very small rooms, NO hot water… ever. Breakfast was a joke! Sliced bread and some cheese. Would never stay here again.

A good 3 star in a great location.
It is a hotel that respects the 3 * * * Suitable for those who use the room mainly for sleeping. It does not have those common spaces and services that allow you to stay in the hotel for half days in a pleasant way.
It is in a great location a 10 minute walk to Victoria Station and 5 mins from Pimlico Metro stop also the bus 24 which goes to Westminster stops right outside the hotel. Belgrave is a beautiful street of nineteenth century houses decidedly quiet. Nearby pubs and restaurants.
The rooms are simple, bar hanger (no closet), TV, small bathroom but complete with shower, washbasin and toilet (no bidet, but abroad there is nowhere), hairdryer, kettle and tea equipment, soap dispenser in both shower and Sink.
Basic continental breakfast, long coffee/tea and juices, jam, bread and pancakes, cereals, milk, fruit. For an extra charge you can have the English breakfast with eggs and bacon.
Well-functioning and free Wifi.
My room and the bathroom were clean.
The hotel has a small luggage storage room for those arriving before checkin time or again after checkout time.
The staff is courteous.

The only good things about the hotel is that it has a lift, it’s near two underground stops and shops and cafes. The rooms are super small. There is no phone in the rooms. The free continental breakfast is bread, ok juice, coffee, cereal, and oatmeal. Nothing else. If you want more you have to buy the breakfast. Buy the breakfast when you check in. The staff don’t know much about their surroundings.

Good price for a small room near the Victoria station (10 minutes walk). It's very convenient going out and it's about 50 minutes away from Heathrow airport by the tube. It's within walking distance to Tesco and Waitrose, that's how I took care of my dinner while there. The bed is a little too soft for my back but being only 5'2, I fit just fine. The shower is small even for me, so if you are big, take that into consideration.

If you want a reasonable place to stay in London, I would recommend Huttons Hotel. I emailed Huttons that we would be arriving very late at 11pm and wanted to insure that someone would be there to check us into our hotel room. They emailed back and said: they are staffed 24/7. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by the Hotel's staff member who was wide awake! Check in was smooth and quick. One thing that many 1st time Travelers to Europe do not realize that overall Hotel rooms are MUCH smaller than American Hotel rooms. When we travel to Europe, we know we are going to be out all and day and will not return back to the Hotel until after 10pm. We just need a place to sleep, shower and eat complimentary Breakfast meal. The rooms are small at Huttons and there is NO under the bed storage. It would be nice to stow your suitcases under the bed to make a little more room for walking between the beds and bathroom (like a Cruise Ship). The bath offers a large walk in shower. Just be cautious: there is a step up into the bathroom, which again is a common feature in older Hotels, along with no AC. Usually London does not get as hot as the US so, opening a window is common practice. There are wall heaters for the Winter months. The negative: The mattresses were an "upgrade of an overnight Camp mattress", extremely lumpy and full of hard coils, pitched to the right. They really need to replace them, quickly!

Very clean and up to date. Comfortable beds. We knew it would be small, however the location more than made up for it. The staff is excellent and extremely helpful. Size is the only reason we are not giving it 5 stars. Definitely will stay here again!

Lets start by saying that if you are in London and you spend a lot of time in your room you shouldn't have wasted your money going to London. Based on that this is the perfect hotel to get out and see London. Great location near Victoria Station. Clean and well managed.

Central Bell Hotel but not too close to the metro and bus stop.

When we arrived the receptionist was grumpy and unhelpful. Couldn't book in until 2, had to be out by 10 in the morning or you got charged £10 an hour. Put luggage in their storage room was given key card to open it, I was left on my own in there with other peoples luggage, not very secure. Room was very small no drawers for storage, no plug in the sink, no heating in the bathroom, bed rock hard. When heating came on in the morning about 5am pipes started banging and creaking, we could hear people showering in the rooms surrounding us. Paid for a full English breakfast which was very poor, and customers were stood waiting for tables. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone it is not worth the money. Next time it will be a Best western.

Excellent location in the centre and near Victoria Station. Small but comfortable rooms. Staff a bit chilly as well as the rooms not too heated. Breakfast with milk and toast with typical breakfast for a fee of £5. All in all a good place. I would go back.

Lets start from the bottom up! Creaky elevator. Fire doors everywhere. My room was in between floors. Go to the end of the hall, thru 2 doors, up a 8 steps with my luggage, another door, and then my room door. Bed was sloped, no phone in the room.
BUT, bedding was super comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean and efficient.
I would stay again if I wasn't between floors.

Room was absolutely tiny! My wife and I could barely both stand between the foot of the bed and the wall. Standard breakfast was toast and cereal, with an option for an English breakfast for an additional £5.00. Bathroom was small, but relatively clean. Paper thin walls meant we were woken up in the middle of the night when our neighbors got in, and early morning when those above us went out. The place would work in a pinch, but had I not gotten the room through a travel package, I definitely would have stayed at a nicer place.

We arrived to find a dimly lit tiny room (just enough for a bed). The bathroom was dirty (there was water and hair in the shower). There was also hair in the bed. The luggage storage has no security (there is a sign that says to store your luggage at your own risk). We ended up checking out early, and they didn't even inquire as to why we were leaving. I recommend spending a little bit more per night, and get a more comfortable place to stay. It makes a HUGE difference in the end.

So it's perfectly adequate as a 3*; the rooms are small, but clean. The breakfast is a help yourself affair, sliced bread/toast coffee and OJ. Reception is perfunctory; neither friendlu nor unfriendly. The beds are on the hard side of firm. Our room was rather hot and tooknages to cool down with the tiny window. However, it's well located, reasonably priced and clean. It's not somewhere you're going to spend time, and does the job of being a night stop just fine.

The receptionist was not friendly in the slightest. They were short with us and never welcomed us or made us feel welcome. The rooms are extremely small. The only place we could open our suitcases was on the bed. The bed is the least comfortable bed I have ever experienced the displeasure of sleeping in. The bathroom was incredibly small but at least it was clean. Breakfast was very simple (bread, one type of cheese, cereal and bananas with coffee, juice and water). It says breakfast begins at 7, but we went downstairs at 7 and had to wait for them to start setting up. We waited there until 7:20 for coffee and then after that we were able to get food. The man at the front was very unfriendly upon our exit as well.

Small room. Reception sucks and lamentable breakfast there is a choice between bread butter or jam bread. For my fruit there choice entee banana or banana for the price I think this abused.

Very nice, quiet and clean. The only suggestion for those who book in the future: for Chargers etc the adapter won't give them like some hotels. But would you buy directly.

Nothing in the room worked, broken kettle, broken shower door, blocked sink in bathroom, flakey TV reception and unwelcoming staff. Breakfast consisted of stale bread and a crumpet. We had what sounded like a bucket of water being thrown out the window every 15 minutes from the room above, and not even one person asked us if we enjoyed our stay. 130 quid well wasted, stay away.

Very central location and the people who work very educated and responsible ultimately to a step from the station of Victory or ten minutes walk from buckigam palace and 15 or 20 minutes of the british parliament big ben and the london eye and of course very limio and a Wifi magnificent.

This is a great little hotel. Room was perfect and clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Shower pressure was really good. I had to knock a star off due to the breakfast. When I checked in I was told a continental breakfast was £3 and a full English was £5 but in the morning when I got down to pay for it I was told it was £5 across-the-board board. And then the continental breakfast was only croissants, toast and cheese. That was it.

Breakfast includes: one type white bread (includes soya), cheese, croisant (butter/milk) and cereals. No chance to get allergy free breakfast, won't buy it for customers! Bed was too hard for me but my friend liked, so if you like soft beds take this to your consideration. Bathroom super small but in good shape. Rooms smells a bit dusty. No big space for big luggages in the rooms, at least not in twin bed room. Noices comes from the hall in the rooms luckily there is only couple rooms in the same hall. Elevator felt unsure how it works. 140e/night, I would not pay anymore not worth of it. Noice from outside did not hear inside so much.

Room is small and cold, TV is small, bathroom is small. Found a bug in our bed first night. It works, if you're just planning to sleep-and-go, otherwise you would be embarrassed to bring your wife. Continental breakfast offered: Croissant Slices of cheese Cereal Toast Coffee and OJ to drink. There is the option of an English breakfast for £5 extra.

Poor hotel, reception service and internet connection are good but all other services are very poor.

Horrible service. I was at this hotel for 4 days and I regret that I checked in. It was expensive. The bed was hard. The shower didnt have warm water and I found hair in my breakfeast.

Room filled to brim with semen, and when front desk clerk opened mouth to talk, bedbugs poured out.

Friendly staff but the bedrooms have thin walls and the floor sloped meaning I rolled during the night. Nice area of London. They are mid some renovation but I won't be returning.

Very poor hotel — rooms were cramped and crowded, bathroom was a cupboard, and the hallways were barely wide enough for one person with a bag. The lift had pieces of metal casing coming off, and it dropped about half a foot every time it was used before it moved, which was extremely disconcerting. The bed was made up of 3 layers of sheets and a thin blanket with numerous moth holes in it, and we had at least three separate instances of management or cleaners knocking on our door and immediately entering, even when I was partially undressed, without waiting for a response. When stood outside our room, with all other room doors closed, we could hear the occupants in the next room breathing, talking, moving, eating and making the most inaudible of noises, as though we were sat right next to them. We didn't stay for breakfast due to the shockingly bad nature of this hotel, so cannot describe it. They have also refused to give us a refund for the second night, as we swapped hotels due to the poor quality of this one, meaning we are down a lot of money. My advice would be never stay in this hotel. Ever.

Wonderful service and delicious breakfast. I was there in September 2006 with my daughter Eliana Magdalena for one night. I had checked in last-minute spot (to the Victoria bus station). Nice bed for me and my daughter, separate wet room. 50, — British pound were perfectly in order. Sausages, bacon, fried eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, jam, orange juice, toast, tea. Freshly laid to at any time as needed. The beans must be from a can come!
Nice quiet night, great Indian restaurants in the area, several local pubs.

If you are just after somewhere to sleep and shower then this hotel is great. I would stay there again.

Very good, especially for those who go to spend the whole day Forum and hotel only to go to sleep. A small bathroom, but everything is clean, and the Manager is Spanish. It is conveniently located, it is 4 minute from the Pimlico Underground station, and 6 or 7 from Victoria Station.

Probably, I had the cheapest room, but: 1) shower and other plumbing "Soviet model", my still and went and everything was good) 2) is very, very small room, had the stupidity to make there any fast food, smell is not the toilet 4 day 3) was cold, the temperature increase has not been able to.
Breakfast is really very modest (coffee, sausages, cereals, eggs, bread and butter), but there is a romantic basement patio (outdoor) : you can sit with a cup of instant coffee, cigarette, which then need to extinguish in a large glass jar, and watch over you go through all sorts of different Londoners and drips romantic raining) Street Mila to extremes and the hotel is really very convenient location, staff were extremely helpful.
