Great experience! Room was huge and clean with plenty of towels and pillows. My only issue was that the hallways were freezing and the heating units in our room were quite noisy so we had to turn them off in order to sleep. Breakfast was wonderful! We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the DC area.

We were there for 4 days, the room could be updated. The bathroom way to small. The hotel staff acted like they did not have time to help, except the lady that we talked to as we checked out. She was very nice, at least she had a smile on her face! The hotel needs to make changes in the rooms, bathrooms and the whole hotel in its self! The vending machines needed to be checked on some of the food outdated, drink machine needed to be filled. Update Update! Also I had to pay a 200.00 dollars deposit, I had never had to do that before. I was not told about this before. But I did get it back when we checked out, doing this kinda broke into my vacation money!

This was the best (Best Western) ever. We had a suite, so lots of room to move. (2 Seniors 1 Adult) 2 washrooms 3 Sinks. Morning preparations were easy because of all space for the ladies.

This hotel is the best! I have yet to have a bad experience here. I am always welcomed and greeted upon my arrival with friendly, smiling faces. I feel like I am home because the atmosphere is so relaxed. When you are vacationing or just wanted to get away, this is a great hotel to do just that. Close to resturants and the mall is a plus. I can shop and then enjoy a nice meal at a good resturant all within minutes of the hotel. This hotel is in the best area ever.

Besides having to deal with the one unwelcoming checkout guy that said his name was Charles (he did NOT wear a ID badge). I would recommend Best Western over Residence Inn in Woodbridge, Virginia any day. I think that the hall could have smelled a tad fresher, but as far as all else including my room Best Western is alright with me. I want to give them four stars. Because of Charles the check out clerk I not very comfortable doing that. However, I will give them four stars in hopes that they will improve on having kind front desk clerks and why should the other staff suffer because of one unkind, unfriendly person at present.

The hotel was right off I 95 south. It was easy to get to. There were lots of stores/places to eat in the area. My only complaint was that breakfast ended @ 9am. M y daughter & I woke up late, and when we got down there, everything was closed and put away. Other than that all was good.

Our experience with this Best western was very positive. We booked months in advance not wanting to miss an opportunity. The location was excellent for the venue that we attended for our church service. It was also convenient to our day trip into Washington. The room was great, the staff was great. Many smiles. Great Job.

The Best Western on Potomac Mills Rd Woodbridge VA is very convenient to our meeting facility so we love staying here. We enjoy the breakfast in the morning. The staff have always been polite and helpful. The beds comfortable and the ease of check out great. I would recommend the stay.

Our room was very nice. Clean, appeared updated and very large for a room with a king size bed, sleeper sofa, refrigerator and microwave, laminate flooring and several other pieces of funriture. Had a great hot buffet breakfast as well. Only disappointed in check out, was already to praise our stay expecting them to ask how it was, since they asked every customer before me, but they said nothing at all. Don't know if that was because we reserved through a "3rd party site" as they continued to reference it as that or not. That would be my only negative thing to say about the stay.

The hotel itself was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants. Very nice free breakfast. Just in a very busy, traffic, area. Best to arrive before dark if you are not familiar with the area. Easy access to Rte 95.

Right off the bat, the hotel needs some updating. Decor and general presentation are pretty dated and needs some sprucing up. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant and the staff was very helpful. Check in/check out was a breeze, and the price was reasonable for the area.

Our stay was very pleasant. We asked for a quiet, comfortable room away from vending and elevator areas and that's what we received. The room was spacious. We especially enjoyed the huge breakfast area that contained so many delicious choices. There are items on their breakfast bar that you won't find anywhere else. Fat-free or low-fat Yogurt with toppings, croissants, truffles that were absolutely delicious, waffle AND pancake maker, 4 choices of cereals, just to name a few! I enjoyed the fitness equipment-treadmill and bike. They have weight lifting equipment, 2 bikes, and 2 treadmills. There's an outdoor pool. We didn't go there-it's February and raining. We enjoyed our stay and have booked our room for March!

Great experience! At check in we were given a complimentary upgrade. Everyone made you feel at home. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was excellent! This will be our hotel stop when we are in the area.

Great location near all the shopping and restaurants. The included breakfast was perfect. A lot of variety and everything was fresh and delicious. Rooms had small refrigerators and microwaves which was super convenient. Comfy beds with lots of pillows to choose from. Good hotel for the price.

Very nice and affordable. Hotel staff is very friendly. I stayed here during my son's OCS graduation. We were very happy with the facilities. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet as well. Will definitely go back on my next vacation to the area.

I have stayed at The Best Western Potomac Mills for the past 4 years. Mr Charles St. Germain and his staff are absolutely tremendous. The Hotel is clean and spotless and rooms are spacious and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is incredible. I have book this hotel for four years and I have my Hockey Team stay there and I would not even think about going anywhere else. This is one of the best run hotels I have ever stayed at. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the Potomac Area. Easy to get to as well.

This Best Western location exceeded my expectations in every way. We were traveling through the area and decided to stop for the night, noticed the sign and decided to stop. We are Best Western rewards members and got a preferred parking spot near the door, and a choice of 3 (out of about 20) different food and drink items upon checking in. (granola bars, candy, water, juice, etc. ) The room was spotless, the hot water plentiful, the bed extremely comfortable. In the morning, we had breakfast (included). We have never seen such an elaborate buffet at a chain hotel. The food was hot, fresh and the choices were endless. I highly recommend this location.

After a LONG day of helping family to move I wanted to get a hotel room so I did, made reservation and all.
Front Desk woman: Name on the reservation?
Me: My name, here is my ID and my card that has already been charged.
FDW: ok so we need a $200 security deposit sir
Me: $200? That’s ridiculous why so much? I am paying with a card btw and no cash…
FDW: Sir it’s hotel policy… you need a deposit of $200 cash or card… AND if you CAN’T afford it or if you DON’T have the money for it then call customer service…
I paid the security deposit and all but also called customer service and told me I should had been charge $50 security deposit.
I guess when you are a Person of color wearing work cloths you need to pay extra…

This hotel is immaculate! The staff very friendly and always make you feel at home. The breakfast is loaded with a variety of foods: pancake maker, waffle maker, sausage, eggs, hash browns and the usual cereals and pastries. The beds are so comfortable. You will not be disappointed in your stay and it's right across the street from Potomac Mills and IKEA!

This is the best stay we have had in a long time! The room was very clean and inviting. The welcoming helped make it special. A gift, mints, welcome letter, and a call. Looking forward to returning.

I asked for a room that was primarily quiet. They put me on the highest floor and I was pleasantly surprised. Hardly any noise. The location was very convenient to all sorts of shopping and eating places but out of the way to give a feeling of privacy. Breakfast was served every morning. Very enjoyable.

The location is perfect! Potomac Mills was no more than a mile away. We stayed in the executive suite. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. The room was very clean and very spacious. My daughters and I really enjoyed it. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The only thing that I didn't like is that there were bell peppers cut up and placed on everything that wasn't sweet. They may have tried to make the food pretty but it just threw us off. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The hotel is pretty nice. Great breakfast. Tons of stuff to eat. If you give them your email and sign up for the rewards program you get three free drinks or snacks. Right when you come in.

The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had excellent water pressure and a nice shower head. I would have given 5 stars, but the room had a very faint stuffy smell. While there is a small vent in the bathroom, it is not forced air, so the steam/humid air from the shower doesn't really have anywhere to go. There were signs of previous water damage in one of the corners near the ceiling, but it did not appear to be active. There was a container of desiccant under the dresser to help remove humidity from the room. The staff was polite and helpful. I was impressed with the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

So far, amazing! Check in was quick and easy. The TV allows us to use our game system. Internet is decent. Staff is kind. Their maid service is amazing! 2 minutes to have body wash replaced, as she walks in my 1 yo vomits all over me, himself, and the floor. She stops and wets hand towels and starts handing them to me, sees me go for the floor and says, "no hon' that's for you and baby, I'll get the floor" asks if he's ok, tells me she has kids as well, and that my baby boy seems to be having an allergic reaction, she was right on! It was so great to have such a helpful person around and a fellow mother's advice! Oh, breakfast is great as well! We'll be returning for certain!

It was a pleasant stay with the family of 4 people. The breakfast was really nice, and the hotel and room amenities were more than adequate. The proximity to then highways and shopping was very good. Overall, I would rate the hotel and our stay experience as pretty high. I will certainly consider staying at this hotel next time we visit the area.

After a previous visit to another Best Western hotel, I didn't have many expectations for this one. Turns out I was very wrong in assuming all Best Western hotels are one and the same. This hotel was great and had a very affordable price per night, at least for the deal I got. There were many restaurants available nearby so even though the hotel itself doesn't offer its own dinner, you can quickly get some across the street. The breakfast, which was a buffet, was very well made and presented, and there were plenty of options. The rooms were maintained incredibly well, with nice touches, and they were spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was that the bathroom door was incredibly close to the toilet, but that might have just been my room. The lady at the front was also very courteous and attentive to all my questions. I recommend this hotel also because of how close it is to Washington DC, since I was able to drop by in only about half an hour. Overall, it was a time well spent and I would gladly be back.

We were welcomed with smiling professional associates. As we are Reward members, we were offered to pick a few snack items from the goodie armoire. (what fun! ) We went to our room, and it was spacios and clean and had an additional sink vanity outside the the bathroom which definitely comes in handy! Unfotunately the light in the bathroom wasnt working. I called the front desk and within 5 minutes maintinance was there to fix a minor issue. The bedroom had a really cute surprise of a towel swan on the bed. The complementary breakfast the next morning was a very pleasant surprise. There were plenty of choices eggs, sausage, turkey sausage, breakfast burritos, hash browns, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, pastries, juices, and cereals. Check put was quick and easy! All and all a very positive experience. A definite do again and recommend!

Nice hotel. Out room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Internet connection poor. And we wish that smoking was not allowed right by the front doors where you unload and load. It was dirty and stunk and made it hard to breath. Overall we really enjoyed our suite! David was very nice and helpful.

I stayed at this hotel for a school trip amd I was very impressed the only reason why I took of a star is because the Wi-Fi was slow the frunt desk lady was a little bit rude to me and my friend and not all rooms have mini fridges and microwaves which most hotels do we did have a keurig coffee machine tho which was nice.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. First they told us we were in a non smoking area and you can clearly smell the smoke in our rooms. Our keys didn't work and had to take them back to the front desk. Then the night before we left we discovered that the housekeeping staff stole items out of our room. I couldn't believe they would stoop so low as to steal from 5th graders that were visiting from another state and this was their first visit to the city and state. Bad look and can't be trusted! This is a place I would recommend anyone NOT to stay! Trust and believe if it happened to me it happened before and WILL happen AGAIN! I give this place ZERO STARS but it wouldn't allow me to submit my post without click one.

The general manger was nasty and rude. My prescription medication (pain pills) were either thrown out or stolen by the housekeeper while I was out that day. I reported it to the front desk and was told they would "look for it. " Of course it was never found. It took 4 days to catch up with the manger as he was so busy every time I went to the front desk. When I finally spoke to him the first thing out of his mouth was, "No one stole it. Call the police then. " I did call the police that night (the day they were missing) since the medications stolen are controlled substances. There are only 2 people working there that believe in customer service. The general manager is NOT one of those people so can't really expect more from his staff.

I purchased the hotel room as a web special for half the cost. The hotel put us in a room with no refrigerator or microwave. Everyone should have those items. The room was clean and we had more than enough towels and washcloths which I appreciate. Other than that, the breakfast buffet was great! There was a wide variety of foods and the staff was very helpful. We ate ourselves silly!

The hotel might not be lavish, but it's pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. A few hours after my arrival, I received a call from the front desk, asking if there was anything else I needed. Breakfast is decent, with plenty of choices. Just a really nice place, for the price.

This hotel has been totally wonderful. The amenities were superb, service was exceptional, and one specific associate was especially helpful, a young man by the name Abdul was nothing but friendly, helpful, and an utter joy to deal with. The hot breakfast was well beyond expectations, they holb the buffet open an hour longer then most other establishments they keep the hot breakfast buffet was open until 10 am. Also they leave access to instant oatmeal for the late comers and the juice and coffee bars are open 24/7 (selfserve). Rates were absolutely reasonable and the area in which the hotel sits has access to an abundant amount of restaraunts and attractions and a short 30-45 min drive depending on traffic, from our beautiful nations capitol. Would give it six stars but they only allow 5.

I really liked this hotel. The breakfast was amazing. This hotel is very laid back. I liked how it was close to all of the shopping and resturatants. The room, bathroom, and towels were very clean. Great room at a good price. I will be returning soon!

Paula at the front desk is amazing, took care of everything I needed. Plus suggested amazing local food and gave some good information on the local area.

Concerning the 3rd party booking for rooms, we just went to Texas stayed at a hotel. It was booked by online booking, booked by friends, held for us till we got there, allowed to check in early, and paid at hotel with cash, so don't blame online booking it doesn't have any control over individual hotels. It just reserves the hotel, then gets a same amount of money from the hotel itself. AS I said, WE PAID CASH AT THE HOTEL, no deposit.

Worst hotel EVER for customer service, SPECIFICALLY IF YOU ARE A VETERAN. Attempted to speak to "Charles, " but he is refusing phone calls. Tried speaking to "Joe, " and he hung up on me. Called back and told him that not only would I not stay at his hotel, but this experience has turned me away from ANY Best Western. His response was "Ok, that's cool. " And then he hung up again. Don't waste your time, efforts or money here folks. Best Western couldn't GIVE me FREE rooms.

The worst in customer service. They treat our military vets with absolutely no respect. I will never stay at Best Western and will make it my mission to tell how our military are treated by them. No need for the generic reply, that also shows your sensitivity and concern for customer satisfaction, WHICH IS NONE! This hotel has a General Manager "Charles" who demanded a deposit from a Veteran who walked from TX to DC to confront Veterans Admin ~ Charles DEMANDED a $200 deposit from this veteran even though the room was PAID for! This is NOT a Veteran friendly hotel! Per Corporate offices ONLY the GM can decide to ask for deposit or "waive" it. Charles claimed he didn't know Amari was a Veteran was was TOTAL BS! THREE of us called him and Amari was standing in front of him WITH his VA Paperwork! THIS HOTEL IS ANOTHER FOREIGN RUN HOTEL THAT HATES AMERICA! RUN THEM OUT OF BUSINESS! CHARLES IS ALSO CLAIMING TO BE A VETERAN! I CALL BS ON THAT!

My son found a bedbug in his room and so 1:30 in the morning, my husband and kids were moved to two more rooms. The bedbug was given to the manager in a cup. She said she had room inspected and they found none. Till this day, nobody has responded to my complaint. I even left message for General Manager. I am not a happy camper! Will never stay there agaim.

The room was great, nice location, but I accidentally booked the wrong week. When I tried to contact a manager about changing my reservation, he was always unavailable. Turns out he only shows up to work between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and he avoided my calls the entire time he was there. His hotel staff knew he was in the building, but "couldn't find him". I ended up paying $420 for a $200 room, and will never be returning.

I'm a truck driver an also a military service member, my truck broke down and the repair company brought me here because it was close to there shop, first time here so basically I don't know anything about this area. These are some of the rudest people in management I have ever come across in a hotel ever. I have been here 3 days and soon as I checked out an sat in the lobby waiting on my ride, they continue to ask me several times when was I leaving, each time it was a different member from the office. Only like 30 minutes had went by since I checked out. Then after about another 10 minutes this lady comes out the office an says, what time is your ride coming, I told her it should be here any minute now, an she replied you need to go somewhere else and wait on your ride I cant house you in my lobby all day and you don't no longer have a room checked in, you gotta go. I was like wow an got my stuff and went out the door. For rooms they charging $110 a night that not even half as nice as other hotels that was way less in price an way nicer. They don't even have microwaves or fridges in the room either. This place is not the place to go avoid it at all costs you will be better off somewhere else. The employees that worked there was very nice and helpful, but the management was very rude and disrespectful. I will never spend another night at this place.

Rude manager, expensive incidental hold if purchased through 3rd party booking company. Booked a room through Hotwire for a decent rate. Lobby seemed nice, never made it past the desk. We were informed by the clerk, the incidental hold since we booked through a 3rd party would be $200. We thought this was pretty high since they don't place a hold at all if you book through them and only charge 10-15% for those purchasing with a debit card. A call to the corporate office revealed it was the individual hotel's policy for the amount to charge. The manager, Charles, came out at my request and raised his voice and rudely told me it was corporate policy for the charge, even though corporate told me it was the hotel. Ultimately Charles told me the hotel's owner is the one who set the policy. Charles.

Really good, outstanding service perfect location for shopping great experience. Huge room very comfortable bed clean and nice clean towels.

This Best Western is not a motel. The rooms were huge the amenities were outstanding. Best of all the room and hotel was clean and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would stay here anytime.

To all the people who wrote a great review on this place: I partially blame YOU for such a crappy trip. I pre-paid for a king room. Because BW is so unorganized and overbooked, I was put in a double queen room, with no offer of refund of the difference. The room I was first put in (Rm 205) had mildew on the walls and the stench of mold was completely overwhelming. I was then moved to another room (216) which was still a queen. The staff didn't really seem to give a crap about anything. By the way, BW, a DO NOT DISTURB sign on a door means DO NOT DISTURB morons! I had valuable and sensitive items in my room, hence the DO NOT DISTURB sign! Your maids came in anyway. When I asked why you said, "they have to go in every 3 days to make sure the customer is alright. " What you meant was, "We make sure the customer isn't destroying the place or stealing anything. " Well, morons, if you really were just checking to make sure I was alright: You have my phone # on file! Your hotel is a dump and your staff is inept at best. You will never catch me there again.

The girl working the reservation desk was absolutely rude. She obviously lacks any couth. After asking a series of questions, she had the audacity to say I was too stupid to understand what she was saying. Are you serious? If this is how they want to run their business I can forsee them being shut down. Cannot believe this was even a choice in my book. Stay away from this disgrace of a hotel.
