Nice friendly staff near many restaurants and bars. Unfortunately there was a barking dog in my floor and the animal would not stop barking. When did Hyatt place start letting dogs stay in their hotels? Yes this was NOT a SERVICE animal… why are a impala being allowed? Addendum… a loose toilet seat and a handle on the toilet you have to hit twice for it to fully flush. Are you kidding me.

We loved our stay! We came from Wilmington, NC for a concert and chose this location based on online reviews. When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile, and checked in quickly by Robert, Bob, and Gretchen. The lobby was well appointed and immaculately kept. Khalid offered us information on local places of interest and dining. Our room left nothing to be desired. It was updated, clean, and had every necessary amenity. Breakfast the next morning was above and beyond what you typically find. It was well thought out, lots of options, and best of all clean thanks to Shay, Demetria, and crew. We were help by Daniel and the maintenance man Trent is doing a great job on upkeep. Barbara and Cassandra are doing a great job keeping the rooms clean! We had such a pleasurable stay that it inspired me to take note of all of these beautiful staff members who contributed to a beautiful environment. I stopped and shared my thoughts with Valerie, the assistant general manager, who obviously has an eye for talent and great report with her staff. Overwhelmingly Pleased. First time staying here. Very nice clean rooms and close to a lot of places to eat. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Spacious, quiet room with L-shape couch, and complimentary breakfast with many options. Real eggs, healthy fruit. Pleasant stay, recommend.

Spacious and clean rooms. Complementary breakfast is awesome. Staffs are very friendly. Many restaurants nearby. There is no guest laundry here.

The rooms are super clean and spacious. The beds are soooo comfy. The staff is exceptional. They are so warm and welcoming. The breakfast set up is very very nice with a wide selection. I love Hyatt.

Great customer service by every member of the staff. This is my 3rd time staying at Hyatt Place Innsbrook and will definitely stay again. Big clean rooms and absolutely value for money. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Very happy, thank you.

Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was pretty small but adequate. No fan in there though. Breakfast wasn't that appealing both mornings I was there. Although my biggest issue was the speed of the elevator, or lack there of. Just make sure you give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get where you're going is all I'm saying.

I am an avid traveler for work and tend to stay in Hyatt hotels with great past experiences. Today's, however, was ATROCIOUS! Typically, "customer service" means you're friendly, helpful, and thorough, addressing the guest's questions and anticipating their needs (how much the incidental fee is, elevator location, breakfast hours, Wi-Fi access, etc). This lady (holding my tongue from choice word), was the exact opposite. No interpesonal skill and condescending as heck! I wanted to give her a piece of my mind, but I walked away. With the myriad of options out there as a consumer, I refuse to deal with this level of disrespect. I will be speaking to management, and I never do this! This is how terrible this lady was.

We only stayed one night, but it was an enjoyable stay! The rooms were spacious (the kids thought it was the coolest space ever), clean, comfortable beds. The bathroom was a little tight/small, but still very clean. The bathroom door in our room didn’t lock. So my one year old burst in every time someone went in. Breakfast was a slight disappointment only because I love pancakes and they were kind of hard. There were several options; Oatmeal, toast, pancakes, fruit, bacon, eggs and cereal. We received great customer service! The lady at the front desk fixed us 2 cups of hot cocoa free of charge as it was freezing outside on Christmas Eve. Overall it was a very nice stay! I would go back again and would recommend others to stay there.

Very friendly and accomdating staff, modern and clean rooms, as well as a nice complimentary breakfast. Certainly a convenient location right off the interstate with plenty of good restaurants choices too. Enjoyed the stay!

Nice hotel; was only in town overnight so didn't use any amenities, but as with most Hyatts, there appeared to be in-house restaurant/bar, fitness center, pool, and business center.

This is one of the better hotels in which I have stayed in the Short Pump area. The TV is oddly placed, and the bath could be somewhat larger, but the suite was tastefully appointed and very comfortable. I would stay here again, if the price is right!

My stay at this Hyatt property was mixed. I like the property itself, and the location. The rooms are spacious and the TV and peripheral hookup ports are great for when I travel with my chrome cast or Roku. The major negative I has with my stay was a spider the size of a quarter with an egg sack attached greeting me as I entered the room, followed by silverfish on the was and another spider in the shower on my last night. I know that it's the time of year when pests start trying to come in doors, but I expect a hotel to have proper insect treatments on a regular basis to prevent these from being an issue. So overall, 3 out of 5 stars. I will probably stay at yhe Hilton Garden in next time across the street.

The facility is a bit older than I'd anticipated for a Hyatt Place, but the amenities are top-notch. Large and comfortable room, friendly service and has numerous restaurants within a short walk away. Would definitely stay again!

Nice place, clean, nice rooms. Requesting early check-in was a bit of a pain. Room smelled terribly of smoke, but they were very nice and accommodating at the front desk and moved us to a new room immediately that was fine. I'd recommend it.

This hotel is AWESOME! We didn't check in until 11 pm last night, hotel staff very friendly and funny. Nice clean rooms, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Hotel is very nice and clean. The only things that bothered us are at 8:30am the maid was opening our door. We were only staying one night and were checking out that day so it made no sense that she even came to the door. My husband was still asleep and I had just gotten out of the shower so im assuming I didn't hear her knock. The other thing was that we were told breakfast was until 10. When we got there about 9:10 They were putting everything up.

The hotel is clean and the service was amazing. Located in Innsbrook, its close to good nightlife and places to eat. The room I stayed was simple and nicely set up making me feel like home. I would recommend this hotel if your in the Short pump area.

Stayed here for work and had a very pleasant experience. The room had plenty of area to stretch out, with a partition separating the sleeping area from a lounge with a couch. Separate sinks, one near the mini fridge and the other outside the bathroom. Bathroom was a little cramped though, I could see where the door had been hitting the toilet. Great breakfast in the morning, it can get a little crowded so come early. They do not have any vending machines on site, but they have a snack bar as well as a Starbucks bar for guests. They are within walking distance of several great restaurants, and tons more less than a miles drive away. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and will be back. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one.

They're remodeling the hotel so there is a chemical off gassing smell in the hotel. From the carpet. The rooms are great and have plenty of ammenidies I just wish there wasn't a strong smell throughout the hotel.

Nice stay overall. There's a lot of renovation work going on, so it's a bit noisy during the day. Our reservation was for a room with a king-sized bed, but as the room heater was inoperative we were relocated to a two-fold room after a few minutes. Nicely appointed rooms, and the morning breakfast bar was quite nice. We will definitely consider the facility the next time we go to Richmond.

There were renovation going on at the time of stay. New carpet drapes the whole 9. Room was very cozy and clean with plush lounge area.

Marty is awesome and the rooms are adequate, but there are other hyatt places that are much, much nicer.

I have started staying in Hyatt place due to cost and due to the rooms being identical in every city. The rooms are great, tons of space and sort of suite-like in design. The service at this one was not great, though. Not bad, but it just seems as if Hyatt Place could be such a better hotel with some training of staff. For example, I asked for a grocery store and the woman at the desk referred me to Wal-Mart, when there was a huge shopping center closer with Whole Foods. Breakfast had no protein, and at 7 hot foods were still not out (I've stayed at Hyatt place before that had egg sandwiches and I was hoping for that). Generally speaking, it's a nice hotel, clean, great rooms, it's just the second time staying at this chain where the service could have been better.

Work trip: The complementary breakfast was nice and the staff was helpful The room was uncomfortable due to it not being that clean. It could have been a good stay if they would have took the time to clean the room.

Bed looked dirty. Stains on the comforter! No hot water in the sink. Just bad. Felt like a roadside motel.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Place Aboretum in the past and wished I would've went there for weekend getaway than this place. I figured the quality would be better due to its location and all, but I was wrong. This hotel is outdated and the rooms were small and I just didn't feel all the way clean being there. I never felt that cramped in a Hyatt Place room. The front desk was a mess at check-in on a busy Friday night; they only had one guy and he just started from what he was telling everyone and the phones were ringing off the hook. I asked for more towels and the guy who brought them to my room look like he had an attitude because I asked. I was not pleased with the hotel and certainly will not be coming back. Don't be fooled.

The staff is insanely curious. The rooms are very well cleaned and are very nice. I will want to stay here again, and I highly recommend it to others.

ONE WORD: BEDBUGS! I always check my room before getting in bed. You could just see them walking on the bed. I had to leave in the middle of the night and find another place to stay.

I was not impressed. The hallway and room was humid, the vanity and toilet/shower were separated. In the bathroom, there was barely enough room to get in and shut the door. When I took a shower, the tub was a cheap plastic tub that was not solid to stand on. Our king sized bed had definitely been broken in. When you sat on it, you would bounce. The springs were definitely worn. I did like the 42" TV on a swivel. It made it easy to watch from either side of the room. I also liked the overall layout and "look" of the room with earth tone colors, but did not meet my expectations in the least. If this is what a Hyatt stay is like, I won't be going back.

I visited here this past weekend delighted that I was having a weekend get-away at a local quilt shop with other quilters. Sunday morning I ran the shower water only to find it was barely luke-warm. I called the desk and their response was to let it run for 30 minutes! WHO HAS 30 MINUTeS TO WASTE? I went off to my conference with the assurance that my room would have hot water. I returned at 10 pm, received HELLOs from the front desk and went up to my room. I went in and turned on the water for a shower only to find COLD WATER! Mind you there wasn't any message from the front desk so I called them. Their response — — YOU CAN GO STAY SOME WHERE ELSE! Since I booked through Priceline that dollar tag of $129 would have come straight out of my pocket. Their attitude was TOO BAD and filled with excusses. That is not customer service or service I would expect from a HYATT. Supposedly their water boilers were out so why did they not have someone telling me that when I walked in Sunday night? Why did they not have someone in there fixing it 24/7? WHY DID THEY PERMIT FOLKS TO GO TO THEIR ROOM WITHOUT TELLING THEM? As I left on Monday morning at 8:30am I asked to speak to the General Manager. He was not in and did not answer his cell phone. I asked the front desk clerk to have him call me. Two days later and he still has not called, obviously they DO NOT CARE about their customer. And their breakfast bar is OK if you like doughnuts, muffins, cold waffles or cold eggs on a muffin.
