Great comfortable space to relax when not working.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Candlewood suites Short pump Richmond. The staff. Namely Karen and GM, Jason went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The room was quiet and contained all of the accoutrements necessary for an extended stay. The honor system pantry and lending locker are a major plus for this facility. I would and have highly recommended this establishment. I am confident that you will enjoy your stay as much as I did! Thanks Short Pump crew!

I was there for 5 months on medical assignment. There are plenty of hotels in the area but this Candlewood is ran by an extraordinary staff! I appreciate everything they did to make my stay there so wonderful! They became my family!

Far enough outside main city that traffic is managable, right next door to several stores, rooms equipped with stovetops and dinnerware.

Called to make reservations and the lady that answered the phone was rude and unprofessional. How are you going to charge me a whole day for arriving a couple of hours early. What hotel does that? And she was rude on top that. I don't spend my hard earned money on businesses that hire people like her. ✌✌✌

I travel with my job. I also typically travel with two dogs. Noellie reached out to me regarding longer term housing in the area. I arrived safely after a long trip with two animals. I initially wanted a room on the first floor, since it would be easier taking my dogs in and out daily. The place was pretty booked, so I ended up on the 3rd floor. It's been a blessing. It's quiet up here and I'm able to sleep after long overnight working hours. The front desk is always helpful if I need a broom to sweep up dog hair or extra coffee. Consider this as an option as a medical traveler, power company contractor, etc. Noellie is great to work with if problems arise like the need to arrive a few days early or later than initially planned. There is a small snack room/pantry on site, a gym in house, and a complimentary laundry facility. Innsbrook After Hours/Outdoor Concert Venue is just a short drive away. There is also a grocery store located within walking distance behind this Candlewood.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet and clean. The staff was awesome. This place is located near grocery stores, shops, restaurants, movie theater. You can find anything you would like close by. I would recommend.

Very clean and nice. Professional people working in this Hotel. My only gripe is the A/C has to freeze the livingroom to cool off the bedroom due to no A/C in the bedroom. Pet friendly hotel and would definitely stay in this Hotel again.

Room was clean and big. However the bed is only a queen size. The towels are not very soft. They have a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner instead of separate bottles. The water pressure was good.

Nice renovated Candelwood close to all short pump amenities.

Good property with ample parking space… laundary is free for guest but no complemetary breakfast. They have kitchen and provide utensils. Walmart, best buy are near to hotel.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was very spacious and offered a homey feel.

Not a good place for the money that you pay. No complementary breakfast. Complementary internet connection sucks. Room cleaning is also not good. I stayed there for couple of weeks.

The Room was clean the bed with fresh plush nice comfortable the staff was very accommodating and helpful I had a pleasant stay and and enjoyable time this is something that I would recommend to others and will stay there again next time I'm in the short pump area.

Adequate service, costumer service was average, and no breakfat. It's an okay place for a basic, affordable room stay. No special services.

People that work here are super nice and very accommodating. The place is starting to get a bit run down and there is no pool. It's a place where folks go that are working in the area for a while not really for vacation stay. No breakfast. They told me it is going to be renovated starting this year. They also take pets.

For the first time I've been in the Richmond area it was the nicest friendliest place we stay. Clean, awesome towels and normal size pillows.

All of the employees are very nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice. The room we are staying in has a two burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, sink and fridge all in the room. I would definitely stay again.

No breakfast sadly. But you do get a great room for a great price. You get two pots to cook with. A two burner stove, full size fridge. A microwave. All for 135 a night… that's great.

First off: my family did NOT stay at this hotel. Their stellar customer service, and one excellent employee, is why I felt compelled to write a review. Yesterday afternoon, my family was halfway through a five hour drive home to NC when my daughter was suddenly ill. She threw up inside our car, all over herself and the backseat. : (We pulled off at the first exit we saw and wound up at this hotel so we could ask for a trashbag for her soiled clothes and blanket. Jane, who wa…s working at the front desk, provided us with a trash bag. She also gave us disinfectant and rags to clean out our back seat and allowed us to come in and get cleaned up. She even offered to let us use the washing machine for the blanket; however, we opted to press forward and get home. It was appreciated nonetheless. Jane treated us with more kindness and empathy than we could have hoped for and, for that, we are grateful. Thanks again, Jane!

Comfy beds, little kitchens, it's all you really need for an overnight rest off the highway. Close to shopping and food, too.

Convenient location and nice staff. It's a basic hotel and the bed was pretty comfortable. If you are looking for higher end I would avoid but if you just need the basic hotel you cannot really go wrong here.

Housekeeping staff is PHENOMENAL! The staff are reliable, consistent, and have excellent attention to detail. This hotel is a great value for the price. The kitchenette is fully stocked with cooking utensils and the room is a comfortable size. The hotel is located in the West End of Richmond which has LOTS of shopping and dining choices. I would recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

For a 2 star extended stay, accommodations are very generous. Room is clean and very spacious. Stayed in 1 queen bed suite with kitchenette. Clean sheets, pillows and towels. Kitchen and bath have all necessary accommodations, just bring a toothbrush! Towels and face towels provided, shampoo, soap and toilet paper (there are extras as well). Kitchen has all necessary cooking ware and silverware for those that cook. There is a farmer's market (Tom Leonard's Farmers Market) within walking distance, also Best Buy. Otherwise there are restaurants close by. The only walkable one is KFC, unless you are willing to cross the major road here. Wireless as tested runs 3-5Mbps which is sufficient for most tasks. 1 TV in bedroom and one in living room along with a pullout sofa. Very comfortable and recommended, despite the dated look.

Clean room, unprecedented friendliness and a great location! The rate for my room was fair and competitive with surrounding hotels, however the in room stove, microwave and full size fridge made it for me! They also stock their rooms with very clean dishes and silverware. The gym is large and open and the laundry room is free and clean it was an absolute pleasure to stay.

I arrive late Wednesday and The Holiday Inn was booked even though I had a confirmation. I check web site and called Candlewood Suites Christina answered and immediately told me they had a room available. I gave her my name and IHG number and she come on over we will be waiting. Christina had all my details and upgraded me to a better room as she understand I need to work in the am and a bigger desk would work. I love great customer service! As I travel every week and great people like Christina help the stay be easy and relaxing. Thanks I will visit this hotel for now on as my base hotel in Richmond.

Nice place in a great location for a short or long-term stay. We just stayed one night, and we checked-in late, so we easily got our key from the lock box. Overall our room was like any other Candlewood and we enjoyed a good night sleep before getting back on the road in the morning. One big suggestion for housekeeping is please make sure there are not large hairs on top of the plastic covers covering the glass in the bathroom. I went to use the glass and there was a big dark hair on top of the plastic cover. Sure it's on the cover, but it still grossed me out, and shows that housekeeping is not looking for the details when cleaning. The white bed duvet cover, which I thought were changed and washed after every guest, also was full of several black hairs. I just pulled it off an onto the floor. I have stayed here twice, and may stay here again as overall it's a good place to stay in a convenient location, but they need to do better in housekeeping or I may look elsewhere next time.

Extremely clean room with very friendly staff throughout our stay. Close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I like this hotel because it is very neatly desgined, and has one of those push pin thingys. But I dont really like their internet because its kinda slow and it didnt make a diffrence for my games I play. Also had to pay for phone service. Why that o. E. Overall its very neat looking, huge rooms (suitable for guitars which its a estimate and I dont have any lol). I would come back here for their cub boards and their free candy. I always sometimes snoop up for their red mints or their caremel or their orange candies. I would like to come back here again sometimes because this is useful for a just moving family. Overall also their service, i'd give it a 8/10. One dissabilty is that they arent there alot. And not liking their service times because what if someone needed toilet paper at 3:00 in the morning? But this is one of the best hotels of Extended Stay ever! 8/10.

Nice place to stay! I stayed like one week here. And I enjoyed the stay. Good room service, well furnished room with all the amenities. The customer service was excellent. Good facilities and many business places near by. The caption, "Feel like home. " suits well.
