Beware! I was a quest from 11/18/22 to 11/20/22. On my first day someone from their staff entered my room when we stepped out for a few minutes and took pictures of our personal belongs. I do not know if they took photos of our credit cards, passports or what else. Looking back I know we shouldn’t have left them in in our suitcase but I guess I assumed my 4th Amendment rights and privacy meant something. When leaving they tried to bill me for a pet which we didn’t have. I questioned the bill / pet fee and they told me to call on Monday to speak with Assistant Manager and Manager (out of respect I will not post their names). After a few days of calls and emails the Assistant Manager finally responded with pictures as “proof” of pet and stated she wouldn’t reverse the pet fee. Needless to say there was nothing in the pictures except my personal belongings. I called her and told her this was unacceptable and that I would be escalating. I called Marriott Corporate and they opened a case. After a week I called Corporate to get update on the case. I was advised that the case was reviewed and closed by the same Assistant Manager who sent me the photos. I complained and requested another case be opened and reviewed by a third party or without bias. This time they told me the hotel is not owned and operated by Marriott but by a private company. A case was open and this time the Manager called me and stated he would reverse the charges.
