Super friendly staff but bathroom in room wasn't properly cleaned (hair in tub, used soap still in there as well) various spots that were from previous guest. Need to make sure no one in housekeeping takes shortcuts because it won't go unnoticed.

UPDATE motel 6 relations advised me to contact them and they were very nice and helpful only bad thing they advised me the hotel where I actually stayed did not contact them back. That’s showing me the owners of that hotel do not care and are missing up peoples thoughts about staying at other motel 6 too bad they really need to speak with them about making changes. Did some say secret shoppers from corporate… JUST SAYING Got there after 12 midnight with 3 kids from Houston was exhausted just got into the room and we fell asleep. Next day when we wake up my son finds blood on the pillows not the pillowcase so go down and let them know the lady at the front desk replies well your checking out already what you want me to do I replied just letting you know so y’all can clean y’all rooms a little better she just rolled her eyes. Then went back to the room and there was toilet paper wads covering the smoke detector took pictures and let them know I was going to put a review with pics and the girl at the front desk was not bothered at all… ugh HORRIBLE PLACE NEVER AGAIN.

I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes to check with no one at the front desk the whole time. The room was filthy. Stains on the bathroom walls and the counter tops were dirty; not wiped down. The a/c did not work in our room and it was hot all night long. The gentleman working the front desk wore a dirty stained shirt. It was very unclean.

Rooms are need of repair and one of our rooms had a used condom in it a d no manager to deal with complaints.

The shower drained very slow. There was tissue paper stuffed in the vent slots in the bathroom. The key card continued to deactivate. There was a big water stain above the bed with hanging pieces of dried ceiling.

Very clean and friendly. Good smooth transaction from check in to check out. Definitely won't stay my next visit.

I only put 1 star because it won't let me sibmitt without STARS and 1 in some because it wouldn't let me submitt. There bugs in the bathroom, hairs in the ceiling of shower, got a NO SMOKING ROOM and walked out in the morning and it smelled havoc: marijuana, cigarettes, beer, the walls were scratchedI, got home and put all our stuff in the garage so as to not get all those bugs in our home. It all seems to me that it's a place for a one time meet, there is a raunchy bar right next to it, it seems to me that it's a one time meet, if you know what I mean, showers to small. We should have asked for a refund but it didn't happen that way. We will never stay there again, ever.

I went in November and I had a very good experience, good for the price. But I went again later and it was more expensive and the toilet was not clean, the water was going slow in the sink and I found a little mini creature on my pajama. So I guess it all depends. Nice people by the way.

Started in a room that had been smoked in with no working phone. MGR switched me right away to an immaculate room. Clean, with fast Wi-Fi (had work to do late at night). Great value for a quick place to crash for 6 hours.

Sherry at the front desk was beyond amazing to us she has been great with the service shes given and help assisting with all the needs and questions I was asking her while keeping a smile on her face. Sleeping in this motel knowing the employees care for their customers is the best thank you so much sherry!

Nice clean room. Decent free Wi-Fi and cable. Would have been better to have some kind of breakfast available in the morning, like make your own waffles or similar. But no big deal. Plenty of paces nearby to eat. The staff was friendly and the price was fair. Would recommend.

It was all right, the room was small and at first the floor looked clean. My puppy ended up finding a lot of dust bunnies and other things. Other than that the hotel was okay.

First room assigned to the AC was inoperable. Second room much better. Bathroom light pushed in and should be replaced. Front desk staff was extremely professional and courteous.

Would have liked a softer chair. Room was clean.

Elevator needs fixing otherwisw I would have given them 5 stars.

I stayed one night. Convenient access from the highway. Room was clean (no sign of bed bugs or other critters). Updated A/C unit, elevators to second floor. The Wi-Fi was password protected and I couldn't find the password on any paperwork I received from check in or in the room. I'm sure I could have called down to the front desk for it, but I only needed to check emails so I used my data. They advertised semi-truck parking and I called to be sure I could park a truck and trailer before booking. Upon arrival they do not have actual large parking spaces, but told me to park along the side of the building (taking up 5 or 6 spaces). It worked out for this trip but could have been a problem if other guests had parked in those spaces.

Whenever we stay at Hotels, we've always chosen Motel 6. Tonight, we had a family emergency, and at 1:30am we packed what we could and went to this location. We were told if we rent a room this early, we still had to be out at 11 and it would be full price. Ok, we understood, that's standard. So to save some money, we used my husbands employee discount site and it said we could book two nights starting with today's date. The front desk man said nope, their system still shows the previous day, we would have to wait in our car til 11am or change the booking for tomorrow. No sympathy, no concern, just a robotic front desk person interested in collecting a debit card. Needless to say, last time we stay at Motel 6.

Smoke free room smelled like cigarettes. Floor dirty, and no shampoo or conditioner in rest room. Would never stay at Motel 6 again in Harlingen, Texas! What a disappointment, and I travel regularly, and this is by far the worst hotel I've stayed at.

Floor is coming up. Walls are dirty. Toilet won't even flush. Free Wi-Fi if you want less than a MB speed and it drops constantly. We got displaced from South Padre island due to the storm and we needed to stay here one night before our emergency flight out. I would have rather stayed in our car… Update: bed bugs were found in room 118. Not just a couple but a lot when we returned from dinner. Let the front desk know and they were not to concerned…

My only complaint is that there must be access to a computer work station for guests, or at the very least a reliable printer that guests can occasionally ask an employee to use for printing out an important guest document from the web, such as a bus pass, work document, or other information. While an Office Depot (that opens at 8am) is conveniently located nearby, it would help to have something at the motel itself. Nonetheless, I give 5 Stars for the staff doing their best to help and, to their credit, the printer option would have worked but for an uncommon tech problem. Thanks Motel 6!

The customer service was very poor, the room was ok, but the front line person checking me in was not polite at all. But nowadays that's the customer service being given with today's millenials. I had to go down to Harlingen on an emergency and she made the visit even worse.

Great hotel with a good price. Only would be better if it offered breakfast and more towels.

On May 27, 2017, I stayed at your motel. The room was clean and had a relaxing stay. However, there is some networking being done and I think it is tied to the TV because when I turned on the TV it kept going to a certain channel-out of sequence. I had to take the TV remote to the first floor to get programmed. Ec.

We, myself and family, stayed on a Sunday night. We asked for third floor; they first put us in a room with nothing on mattresses. After we complained about a lousy room they put us in a handicap (hard of hearing room). That was the start of the problems. First we set the room at 81 and left for dinner. When we got back it was a freezing 71 degrees. We complained again. Their answer: "Come get another room from us. " This, after we had just unloaded all our stuff. Later that night, I found a large white pill on the floor. As I looked up, I saw dark mold that had formed on the vents of the AC. As I looked down, there was no hangers in their closet. The room was so cold, even with the AC off. The bell (for hard of hearing) appeared as it had never been cleaned. There was so much dirt piling up. As we were checking out: our stay was as the front office "no available person there to help. " Keep the lights of Motel 6 of Harlingen. This is too bad because it is so close to immigration court. There is no closer hotel than this one. Too bad because we will not come back — unless it is an absolute emergency. Stay away from THIS MOTEL6!

Everything was to my liking except the ac it was freezing even when I had it on 85 it was still very cold but other than that I wouldn't mind staying again.

The accommodations were very small for the price we paid. Refrigerator was hot. No blow dryer available and no extra pillows available. Toilet not working handle broke. Bathroom floor falling apart.

I would give it three and a half stars some times. The rooms are clean but there are a few rooms that smell and need to be remodeled. For a budget motel it's better then some other places.

This hotel is outdated, the staff is rude, and always angry. The bathrooms are disgusting, and claustrophobic. Just mention this if you take your things and leave the hotel, it is considered a checkout.

Clean, if just looking for a bed for the night, worth the money.

First off your brand name is represented by the people running each location so proper franchising of the people you choose to run the company first, because this was the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed at an will never be going a motel 6 again. First the light in our room was not left on, the main slogan the company advertises. They messed up reservation. The room was horrible. There where ants in the room. We checked out a day early and where so happy to pay $50 more bucks a night after one horrible night here and where blown away on how awful the faculty and service was at motel 6 compared to a real hotel right across the same highway.

We had 9 rooms reserved for a group of us that came in. Wi-Fi signal was weak in downstairs rooms, and upstairs rooms had no reception at all. Several of the rooms had no working a/c. The bathrooms were filthy. Every noise, bump, etc could be heard all night. Several rooms had a distinct odor (like mold). The tv's in the rooms were ancient technology that had little to no picture. Several rooms had no smoke detectors. This was just a terrible hotel.

Freshly painted and clean. My room wasn't fancy, but I don't like to pay for "fancy" when all I need is a place to shower and sleep. Highly recommend as a no-frills value.

Good clean hotel, family-I was very comfortable during my stay my family was very pleased with the friendly service of the staff good location of the hotel.

The clean little room was exactly what we needed! No frills, but we were just looking for a place to sleep at the end of a VERY long trip, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Didn't give us any trouble about our pets, and gave us a late checkout because we were arriving late and they said they understood that we needed some sleep! Would recommend to anyone looking for a small room and no bells/whistles.

Comfortable, clean, do not use carpets, floor plank, it makes me more healthy.

Hotel is clean and nice, very updated. Customer service is good. No iron or ironing board included in rooms and much less a hair dryer. For $70 bucks not really a bargain plus $10 for early check in. Extremely noise as hell, I could hardly sleep cause of all the noise from all the other rooms and people having a freaking ball at 3am. Found a better deal just up the street at Texas Inn for $60, with a lot more items included and noise free.

We like the clean of bathroom and room in general. The attention of the personal was good also. Definitely I will back with my family. Thanks.

Get what you pay for, its not fancy but cheap rooms is great on budget.
