Noisy jerk neighbors from hell below us. Had to call 911 because the front desk couldn’t stop them from being loud outside, after midnight. Cigarette smoking hillbilly trash. Right now they’re all outside grilling in the parking lot like cousin loving hee-haws. We will be contacting corporate Marriott for a refund. This place is for red necks.

First time staying here and it was excellent rooms we're super clean hotel in all was very clean staff was awesome Johnathan was very friendly and helpful soon will stay again. Thanks Marriot.

I highly recommend this hotel environment is great staff is very friendly Rooms are very clean Jonathan & Paul were of great service to anything I needed.

Hosted an event in one of the meeting rooms at this location. Staff was very friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend using their meeting rooms.

Awesome place to stay just to get away!

Front desk personnel went out of his way to welcome me and even offered me an umbrella when it started to rain. Professional and sweet. The room is perfect and spacious ❤️ this place.

Big shout out to Jonathan for going above and beyond to help me out with a reservation cancellation. He didn’t have to but he took initiative to call his supervisor after hours for an approval then took the time to call me back. Great job Jonathan. Next time I’m in Harlingen, I’ll stay at this hotel again.

This is a great hotel. The staff is the best I've ever experienced. Nice, contemporary atmosphere and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to steal it. Excellence in every category!

Nothing fancy but adequate and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice breakfast facility. Pool area is pretty, and pool is clean. Could use a few more handicap parking spaces.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice pool and exercise room. The continental breakfast is excellent. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the pool towels being out of stock even after I brought it to the front desk's attention which was no biggie.

Good Spot. Employees were a bit rude. The hotel pool clearly said it closed at 11pm. We got kick out 45 min before closing time. There excuse was the pool maintenance man wanted to leave early, so they needed to close the pool at 1015pm so he can clean the pool and leave. Then front desk was really rude about the whole thing. Marriott is my preferred hotel but this experience definitely hurt…

It was a very clean, and relaxing hotel. Breakfast was great. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Loved it and will stay again. Near mall and other attractions.

I absolutely loved my studio, king size bed, room! The workspace and having the kitchenette were big pluses! I would definitely stay there again! The hotel is very clean, modern, and elegantly appointed. The front desk personnel are professional, courteous and very helpful.

Adriana was very professional! She handled us with a great smile and recommended a local restaurant that my husband and I enjoyed. Love our Marriott's.

I thought the place had just opened, it looked so new and clean. The desk staff was exceptional. Nice rooms and amenities. No hot tub but nice workout room, pool, basketball court, and nice lobby and breakfast. Great location!

Today, I was supposed fly out of the Harlingen airport at 6 am to be in Nashville by 10 am, but my flight got cancelled and rescheduled for 3:25 pm. Weather has been horrible in all the major cities today, so I imagine lots of travelers have been left frustrated just like me. But through my frustrations, I’ve been reflecting and trying to find the positive… A BIG positive being that the Residence Inn in Harlingen (John, on the graveyard shift to be exact) was SO sweet to let me come back to my room that I had already checked out of, to come back, have breakfast, and get some rest until the late checkout they gave me at 1:30, AND shuttle me back to the airport for free. I swear, that was the best nap I’ve ever had. The generosity and hospitality of the staff today really touched me! Thank you for making my first visit to Harlingen memorable in such a sweet way!

Great area. The building was very nice and properly maintained. The front desk employees were very nice. The employees during breakfast were very fast to keep replacing food when something was done. Overall great staff and hotel.

Great place and some of the best staff ever. They had free food stuff on the Mon, Tue and Wed that I was there. The only negative was the horrible water pressure in the showers.

Family members staying here for wedding. Hosted rehearsal dinner here. Staff is very friendly. Great place to stay.

Checked in today. So far very good. Friendly Staff Love our King Suite with kitchenette and Living room. Love the Location too.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Great facilities, close to everything, very welcoming and friendly staff. We were here for a quinciñera and it made for easy family visits too.

Nice new clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable suite to work in. Hurricane Harvey caused my flight to be cancelled. Staff was very flexible with the length of my stay which relieved significant stress about where I would wait out the storm if needed.

Vary friendly staff day and night. Room was up to par. Pool is warm and clean. Gym is just what you might need. I'll be back!

Updated Review: I came back to this Residence Inn a week later and they gave me the same room and nothing was repaired! I spoke to management about a few issues I had with their property and the GM Diana did not care and referred me to speak with the Marriott Platinum Line. Prior Review: This Residence Inn at 2 years old is fairly new but unfortunately the room they gave me needed some TLC. The mirror was peeling/warping away, the towel/clothes hook was broken off and the carpet was peeling off the walls underneath the drawers. The staff was extremely nice and customer oriented. It just seems that they need to work on their housekeeping, maintenance, front desk communications so their guests receives a perfect room every time.

On arrival, the front desk was very nice and accommodating (wish I could remember the gentleman's name! ). The room was immaculate and modern. (Only wished it had a bathtub instead of shower only, but that's a small thing). They offered free Landshark beer, ice cream sundaes and various wines in the evening, which really hit the spot after a long day.

The customer service from the moment we walked in was excellent. I give the new girl on 1st shift a big thumbs up to her great awesome customer care service… the ones who are more less not recognized for their hard work. The porter on evening shift was so kind an helpful. The atmosphere itself by the pool an dining areas was all worth our little mini vacation. Residence in by Marriott has the best rooms vie ever stayed in.

Fantastic experience. My wife and I stayed at one of their suites. Good priced too. Very clean, no fuss about anything. Stayed for one night. The suite was at the top floor. Had a decent view from our window, It's harlingen, not their fault. The restroom was very nice. Spacious and big. The King sized bed and sheets hugged you when you slept. There was a kitchen area and a living room with couches and a bed. I didn't thing Harlingen had a hotel this good. I recommend the suite for sure.

I have stayed in several high in hotels for $500+ a night. This hotel is on par with almost all of them. Very spacious rooms with nice kitchen area. Wonderful service. All around it was a great place to stay.

I am a very, very picky person and I usually find something that needs improvement but this place is exceptional from service to accommodations. The location is prime. Customer service is obviously a top priority because the entire staff are courteous, friendly and attentive. Oh and the breakfast was really good too including the kitchen staff. As a Marriott member, I can't believe I haven't stayed here before. I plan on staying here again every time I come back to. Harlingen.

The general organization of the staff is below standard. We had numerous issues with our reservation where the staff was simply unable to correct after numerous attempts.

Great hotel. Rooms are huge with living area, kitchen area, shower, and large desk. Bad thing is free Wi-Fi doesn't include enough bandwidth for streaming music or media. Large fridge included with a stove and sink. My room had pans, silverware, and plates. Even small dishwasher liquid included. Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner. Ironing board and iron included. Temp controllable in room. Staff is SUPER nice and take care of messes quick.

Basketball court adjacent to bedrooms is not a good amenity… curfew of 11PM, even worse. Hotel rooms smells of chemicals or incense… not recommended for an allergy suferer. Never staying here again.

The staff at this location is amazing. Paul at the front desk is very good at providing detailed information about the local area. Also, when you walk in he greats you by last name. It was not only with myself but with other guests. I spoke with Beth the manager as well and she was very helpful. The construction of the building is beautiful. From the moment you walk in, this Residence Inn Harlingen truly displays the meaning of feeling like you are at home. To pretty much sum up everything, I am glad I selected this perfect location. If I come visit the local area again, I will be staying here for sure.

Great place to stay! Very clean. Kitchenette was fully stocked and perfect for an extended stay. I didn't get to sleep on the bed, but I can comment on the pullout. Unless you're passed-out drunk, you'll probably find it uncomfortable. Breakfast was above average and the staff was generally friendly. I'd definitely stay again.
