Texas is hot in the summer, but the rooms are nice and cool. Friendly, helpful staff and a great location.

Super clean. Amazing breakfast spread and very comfortable dining area. Loved it!

Location is good. You have many restaurants nearby, close to Hwy, close to South Padre Island. Service is wonderful and with a smile. Breakfast was delicious. Our shower didn't work after 1 use but I'm sure they will fix it soon, hopefully before our stay is over. Other than that, good, clean hotel.

Even though it's common to have similar experiences in this kind of hotels, this one exceed my expectations with little details. Congrats to the staff. The only observation I have is that my restroom didn't have humidifier (or this thing that makes vapor and odrs go away), it was very humid after showers.

Good food but not very clean. Floors were dirty, tables and chairs were wipeed but still dirty.

Nice people at check-in. Über clean bedroom and bath. The whole place smells good. I will be back.

The service was great. The event room was a bit small from what I remember and a bit dated in decorum but served it's purpose.

Rooms were clean and looked nice. The staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast wasn't great but still at least the stay had breakfast included. Would definitely recommend.

Spend 5 days for work and I had no complaints to the attention or staff of this hotel, has breakfast and free parking, I give 4 stars because if I was struggling with the Wi-Fi and if you wear a lap top forget to want to lie in bed Because it has its own connection that ties you to sitting behind a desk.

I walked by the hall on the way to my car during the evening. So tired and just wanted to go soak in my handicap room with both a handicap shower and a deep jaccuzzie style tube, and that's when the warm roasted aroma hit me like a blessing bus! Coffee. Yes there are coffee makers and coffee stuff in the room but this was fresh and yummy. That's when I spotted the man who was carrying a giant tray of freshly made cookies. He sold me the coffee was on the way out. OH MY — — THAT gave me pause to check out the lobby. Wow it was so fancy and cosy. Giant aquarium with big fish. Tall bar stool table with cucumber water ready to pour. Ooh so cool and fresh. The Christmas tree was very pretty and asthetically pleasing… Each outer door requires a key to enter which I love. The room is specious. Nicely done and simply decorated — nothing fancy. Not enough trash cans. Mire cabinet space would be nice. The pool is not heated bummer!

Professional service at the front desk, and everything was in order at the room each day. Didn't get to try the breakfast during my stay, but the area was kept up well and looked good.

It's an adequate hotel. Going through renovations but nice nonetheless. Breakfast was good.

Had to edit my initial review, I couldn't set my Wi-Fi connection until I visited downstairs & spoke with Bob, nice gent indeed and he set my Wi-Fi connection quickly, thank you Bob! Christopher was another gentleman that assisted with TV picture tube problem, he was courteous & attentive, he resolved problem quickly. Another fine example of great Mangement in place and problem solving skills, loved it! Now to the meat & potatoes of our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites — Arrived tired (left Corpus Christi quick & in a hurry due to the scallywag of Harvey himself! ) Checked in promptly, nice quaint room, clean & simple. Bathroom sparkled of cleanness. After a quick inspection, we dropped like a rock, slept like a baby. Although, we enjoyed our stay, I merely have ONE COMPLAINT, the toilet is way L O W! I kid you not, my knees almost touched the floor! Other than that, I loved our short stay at Hampton Inn & Suites, it totally rocked! Thank you kindly. :) P. S. If you love dietary food, you will not be disappointed come breakfast time! Thank goodness I travel with goodies! ;-)

NO parking. Cars are blocking each other in lot. It's Friday and the are actually paving the lot. Some quests are resorting to parking behind the hotel In a U hall lot. I pray no cars are damaged here. I am calling fire dept, because this is dangerous cars can't not get In or out. Unloading luggage from the U haul lot is insane.

Super friendly staff. Super clean. Great pricing! Only reason I gave four stars is because the room refrigerator did not work. I bought food the next day and realized it did not work so my food went bad.

Hotel & staff was nice, the room was pretty clean. I just had to take away 2 stars because there was a roach on the bathroom door that we had to kill and just as my 4 year old was about to lay down and fall asleep there was a spider I spotted on the pillow. Now I know those things the hotel kind of doesn't have any control over, but I think they should look into having their rooms sprayed or something to avoid problems like that. Also when we got into our room there were strands of hair in the bathroom sink and tub, easy to just rinse away but I shouldn't have had to do that. Also the dining area to eat the complimentary breakfast had A LOT of flies. It was beyond annoying because you really can't enjoy eating your food or having a conversation with them flying all over you and your food. Now don't get me wrong, it is a decent hotel. As far as the roach goes it did not look like a hotel that has a bug problem. Maybe the people that were in the room before us brought a roach with them. Because if you look at other's reviews there's no indication of a bug problem. And the thing about the hair is just my way of saying that if there was hair left in the sink & bathtub it was sort of like how clean can they possibly be? And it's also just to let the hotel know (if they're looking at my review) to kind of get on the housekeeping about that and keeping the rooms a lot cleaner.

Room was not worth the price. Smelt like pee and water pressure was terrible.

This is a nice hotel. I visited my parents there this weekend.

Nice size room with comfortable queen beds and sofa, TV area. Fridge, sink and microwave.

Beautiful rooms and nice lobby. There was no problem with checking in.

No Wi-Fi you have to pay and its not cheap.

A great place to travel for business.

Free cookies in the afternoon and a great complimentary breakfast in the mornings. My favorite place to stay on Harlingen.
