Booked my hotel at 9:30. Received a call from an unknown number just after 10pm to be hung up on when I answered. Arrived to hotel just after midnight to be told they were sold out and did not have a room for me. I am a Diamond member, and this is not what I would have expected. The girl at the counter told me they had been trying to call me. I asked if she was the one who hung up on me when I answered. She replied, no, and ended up walking away. At no time was I informed that she searched for and/or held me a room at another hotel… nothing. Just left me there to search out an alternative while the hotels were book throughout Abilene. Never will I return, and will be sure to keep all employees from staying at this hotel.

I don’t recommend this hotel. Bad service. The room had no towels. The shower water comes out real slow. The inside swimming pool was very cold and the jacuzzi was out of order. When you walk on the floors it feels like your going to fall through. The beds are very hard. I want a refund.

Tonight was awful… This has been my families 100% go to hotel for many years every time I visit this area-
Until tonight, I’ve never left a hotel after only being there 3ish hours…
Tonight was about them not honoring their word — how do you put your faith in a hotel that looks you in the eyes & says one thing just to do the complete opposite?
Very disappointed in this hotel tonight…

The bathtub was disgusting the hot tub was not working so I thought a bath would be nice. The tub was so disgusting I would not even take a shower! How can you rent out a room with this filth? You should be ashamed!

It’s nice and clean and the beds are pretty good breakfast was awesome.

Stayed here this past weekend. It was a business trip so my company made the reservation and paid for the hotel. When I checked in they asked for a credit card. I informed them not to charge it and to charge the card that made the reservation. Just woke up and now I have a several hundred dollar charge on my card. Their failure to follow a simple instruction is why they are getting a 1 star. Now to call and try and fix this.

The manager and all the staff were the sweetest I've ever come across! Everything and everyone was so nice. The breakfast was incredible! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Abilene after staying here! Rooms were beautiful, bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was cleaned to perfection. I give my Hampton experience a perfect 10! THANK YOU Hampton Inn staff for an amazing weekend

Clean room friendly people. Coffee was awful! But the breakfast was hot fresh and tasty. Very good if b I'm ever in Abilene I'll stay there again. There is a store and restaurants within walking distance also.

Great place to get some rest only complaint that I have is a busload of kids running the halls all evening other than that not a bad place to stay.

Warning to all business travelers! Do not go to this Hampton inn. Because it was due to a business emergency the manager there decided to not waive cancellation fee. They understand that "business plans can change" however they will not waive the cancellation fee for business travelers. Your better off going to the Homewood Suites or Hilton garden inn. It may be more expensive per night however they are more friendlier to business travelers and truly understand plans change that are out of our control and will refund your night. IE: I had a reservation at the Homewood Suites tonight as it is a 5 hour ride to Odessa, TX and when we called them to cancel they said no problem, waived the cancel fee, and said " we hope to see you soon" Mind you the hampton inn was for TOMORROW NIGHT and they did not waive the cancel fee. That shows me they take advantage of business travelers and because it is "business money" they will up hold company policy. As the lady told the Hilton honors rep on the phone, "Well, its not an emergency"! I might have lost $151.02 today but Hampton you have lost my respect as being apart of the Hilton brand.

Nice hotel in Abilene with a small gym that has one treadmill, elliptical, bike and dumbbells up to 50lbs. Room was clean, I had no issues with noise. Free breakfast was nice. Nothing major but your generic, waffles, eggs, fruit, cereal etc. This hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and there is even a mall nearby. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

The room was nice the food was great. Only problem was we called ahead before booking a room and asked if we would be able to get a pickup up with a very large trailer into a parking area here. They said yes and when we arrived there was no way we could park. Not even if we had a small trailer. Then I asked if I could get a refund for the room I just spent almost 200 bucks on and of course the answer was no. So we parked at another business and walked to the hotel. Not an end of the world thing and the hotel was nice, just know next time there is no parking for large trailer and vehicles.

Nice room quiet and friendly just wish they had a better breakfast.

This hotel was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. The people working there are trash, they are so rude and unhelpful. DO NOT stay here this place is worse than a motel 6. It’s dirty there were bugs and the housekeeping was god awful. They cleaned nothing and we had no do not disturb sign AND they still took our generous tip. Worst place in abilene to stay.

The manager made a documented mistake quoting my school the total for our stay, and they refused to make it right… but it as usual was clean, quiet, and their breakfast was wonderful.

Evidently local money is no good here. Couldn’t get a room because we are from the area. Guess they’d rather have an empty room than local money.

Clean, well decorated room. The bed had comfortable and clean linens. The bathroom was well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and quickly restocked as needed. Would return again.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good. Only problems were drinks from previous occupant left in our fridge and an unmonitored pool area. Great location, you can walk right next door to Fuzzy's tacos or the mall.

The location is great! It is within walking distance to the mall & several restaurants. The manager on duty when we checked in was super helpful and nice. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding and restocked as needed.

Clean rooms and very comfy bed. We didn’t have a working TV but the attendant did try to fix it. Parking was a little rough at night it was packed but other than that we had a great experience.

Efficient and personable service. The hotel is smallish, but the rooms are very comfortable and clean, well designed to accommodate both a tired traveler and a busy professional on a business trip. The bathrooms are a little dated, and given the Hilton price tag, I'd have liked real dinnerware for breakfast — not the paper plates and plastic forks.

Very pleasant service, the room was nice and clean. Good Wi-Fi. The bathroom was a little dated and I didn’t expect paper plates and plastic utensils at breakfast at a Hilton brand, but maybe the amenities have changed.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The beds were so comfy, there was so much room in my room (study suite), and I felt so relaxed the whole time. Jasmine was so helpful & sweet! She went above and beyond, thank you!

Everything was clean, and the beds were decent for hotel beds. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was pretty good, as well. The front desk clerk at check-in (I believe his name was Justin) was very friendly and called to make sure our room was ok. Only real problem was that the door to our room was heavy and difficult to open and close. It seemed the other rooms had the same problem.

Great hotel. Construction was there but not a big deal/noticeable. Got 4 stars instead of 5 because of a pretty small gym.

The front desk girls were great & very pleasant! I called at the last minute & they had a room ready for my family & I. Breakfast was very good & hotel was extremely clean. The only down fall was a family checked in around 10pm & their kids ran around & jumped off the beds until 1am. It sounded like they were coming through our ceiling. They were back up at 6:30am & back at it again. We will ask for the top floor from now on. We will definitely stay again but top floor.

I needed a place to stay after a day of traveling. Hampton Inns have always been an easy and comfortable place to stay so when I saw this one I knew I would stay there. The front desk was quick and easy to deal with and they found me a room immediately. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The rate was reasonable. If I come through again, I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very clean room furniture was well kept, complimentary breakfast was fresh and hot! House keeping was VERY friendly every time I stepped out of my room they were asking if I needed anything. I will stay at this Hampton Inn every time I come to Abilene!

The 2 bad things about this place is the breakfast area is not comfortable, and the 2nd worst part is that this hampton has absolutly no laundry room for their guests! Local laundry close at 9pm and are 15miled away. Finding out that across the street at Best Western, they have a laundry room! Also the entire 3rd floor is suposed 2be smoke free and our room along with the entire hall way reek of smoke! Not good at all.

WARNING! Do not eat at double daves pizza! Take your business elsewhere. The employees like to steal money from customers who tip them 20 dollars after spending 140 and the manager turns around and defends them. Scumbags.

This hotel was disgusting. They have a cockroach problem. There were hundreds of dead cockroaches outside the hotel entrance on the floor and we saw multiple live and dead cockroaches inside. The basic room was $140 per night which is terrible considering the location is bad and all those nasty cockroaches. I will never stay here again and I will definitely tell people how bad this hotel was.

We went to check in and the person at the desk was looking for our reservations, she located the reservation and asked me for some type of credentials. I had no idea what she was talking about because we booked a room at the AAA rate and I had my card with me, but that is not what she wanted. Then she proceeded to tell me that we had a king bed smoking room, again not what we had reserved which was a double bed non smoking room. The person working the front desk was very condescending, rude and did not have the decency to try and figure out a solution. We left, we just down the street and stayed at a hotel for a few dollars more, but excellent staff, rooms, breakfast, etc. Well worth the extra money. We won't be back to the Hampton Inn Abilene.

My husband and I stayed here July 25, 2008. I don't like to stay in hotels unless I have to as they aren't clean enough to suit me. This room and bath were very clean. The beds were wonderful with very nice linens and pillows. The AC was newish and worked great. The breakfast was very good and employees were nice. The furnishings were very nice also. I highly recommend this Hampton and would go out of my way to stay there.
