Were were told no pool due to covid19 when I can see next door at the Hampton inn there are kids playing in the pool. Also we were told we would have to go to the Hampton inn for our breakfast as well. What a RIP off I paid good money to stay here. If I would have know I would have stayed at the Hampton inn. When I called and asked if there was any restrictions at the hotel they failed to motions any of this. BEWARE of this place. And dont waste your money.

Stayed here last night. Our room smelled just like an old moldy place, found a roach crawling around our counter in the bathroom… the tub itself had black all over the grout as well as huge “patches” in the tub. Not a pleasant stay.

When check in is 3pm I’d expect to be able to check in. Instead we arrived at 5:30 only for us to have to sit in the lobby (full of others) because they had no rooms ready with 2 small children absolutely ridiculous! Didn’t get our room till about 6:30pm. I’m so unhappy with this visit. Don’t bother with the place save your money! When I tried to get ahold of a manager none was available go figure last night. This morning she was unable to help me till after she did breakfast. We checked out and only received $50 off. I’m sorry but that wasn’t good enough to me. I’d rather stay at the super 8 next time and have no issues. Never ever had a issue with any other hotel I’ve ever been to! I’m sorry they were booked and busy but 3 and half hours after check in is ridiculous especially with small kids who’ve been stuck in a car.

Easy check in and out. Service was very good and the desk clerks were great. W the hotel was experiencing some technical problems with their doors and the locking systems.

The ceiling in the pool area was hanging down and a large piece looked ready to fall into the pool. They have pool towels and they use salt instead of chlorine in the pool. The hot tub was clean and the Jets work. The staff was very nice for the three days we stayed.

Everything here is pretty much what you expect from a Fairfield Inn & Suites: clean, orderly, and well put together. They didn't have a couple things I'm their breakfast spread that are usually offered, but when we asked one of the girls working there, she stopped what she was doing to grab them from the back room.

No complaints whatsoever! Delicious hot breakfast! Kids had a blast at the pool. Room was clean! Staff super friendly!

Room was okay. Breakfast was okay. What I was impressed with was the gentleman at the front desk. I think he said his name was Justin. I came in and he greeted me, got me a free water because I had been traveling all day, and then offered to carry my stuff up for me. The young man was also very respectful and addressed me as sir the whole time. Excellent service from the night person Kristie I think it was as well. Brought me towels. Getting 5 stars for the service.

We loved our weekend stay here. We were tired when we got in and when we checked in the front desk said we had been upgraded to a executive king suite, which was super nice to have a relaxing room to watch t. V. And do some work. Fairfield is always our home away from home. Everything was perfect and the staff was great, so polite and helpful. The housekeeping staff was great, always greeting you in the hallway and around the hotel and asking if we needed anything. My only requests would be wider tubs and firmer pillows. It's also in a great location.

Beds are comfy and rooms are fine. Staff was friendly, but I cant get over the 1 elevator that is out of order as much as it works. The continental breakfast was also good. The two star loss is strictly for me being on the fourth floor and no elevator at check out time.

The room at this hotel was acceptable, no problems. However, the breakfast buffet was less than desirable. The scrambled eggs pan was empty and they were out of bacon. They were also out of coffee. I suppose we could have eaten cold cereal, but we opted to go elsewhere.

It's a great place to stay. An amazing experience as long as the child molester isn't working the front desk. In complete confidence it's scary to know I have 2 boys that go up there to see their dad and a sex offender is there. Just watch your kids.

I stayed there for 4 nights. On the 3rd night I noticed a empty condom wrapper between the bed and night stand. I told the desk clerk about it and was told it would be cleaned up by house keeping. When I returned the next evening it was in the middle of the floor in plain view — house keeping must have seen it when making the bed. I kicked it out into the hallway. The next morning when I was checking out I was going to mention it again but the desk clerk was talking on her cell phone and could not be bothered. This place is nasty. I have stayed there a lot over the last year — I will never stay there again.

Service was fine. People were friendly. Pool unexpedetly closed both nights we were there. Only reason we booked and paid extra was for the pool. Then the fire alarm sounded twice in the middle of the night on our second night, apparently for no reason.

The staff was nice, but the room was not clean. When I got to my room there were long black hairs all over the bathroom floor.

I don't know why this hotel is listed as a 2 star. It should be higher. Excellent customer service. We slept in Queen size comfortable beds and rooms that had a nice amount of space, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, etc. Indoor pool opens at 6a. Kids had a blast. Enjoyed the hot tub, too. Delicious hot breakfast. Quality was great all the way around and the stay was reasonably priced. Thumbs up!

Comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, and we had the best complimentary breakfast we've had in a long time. Tonia served us at breakfast and was very nice and professional. Good service goes a long way to ensure repeat customers… we plan on coming back next time we stop in Abilene.

Hate to leave a bad review for a bunch of stuff that probably won't happen to you, but there's enough to take 2 stars off. After working till well after midnight last night, we got woken up by the fire alarm at 8:00 this morning which went off for a couple minutes. Probably related to the fire alarm, as of noon the same day the Wi-Fi is down waiting on tech support. So once I was up I couldn't do anything productive anyway. My bathroom sink drains very slowly, and the Wi-Fi when it worked was too slow for YouTube to play nicely. All that said, the rooms are clean and decent, the free breakfast is good, there's free coffee in the lobby, and the staff is nice.

It was great for the Abiliene area. Mid range hotel, because our usuals had no early check in available. Very polite staff allowed us to check in at noon. Comfortable bed, spacious room, adequate breakfast.

Everything was really good. I liked their breakfast which was free. You can make a really good breakfast sandwich. My bathtub was warped and their was a funny smell, but I think that was just cleaning supplies. Also their keys don't work very well.

Hotel staff need a lot of improvement on their customer service provided in this place. Upon checking in one of other people in my group could not find their reservation finally it was discovered the name was all wrong. One the second day after I returned I found that bare minimum had been done by housekeeping to include on emptying one trash can and did not replace any of the toiletries that were used. The front desk evening staff was nice and brought things up. The next day I returned to find that none of the towels had been replaces by housekeeping, how do you not remember to replace towels. Again had to go down and get more towels. Breakfast was pretty gross both mornings and they ran out of coffee both mornings. When we were checking out I saw that taxes were charged and asked the clerk about it was told very rudely the took off what they had to, since we were federal government we had a tax exemption. Finally after talking with our travel the girl found someone else who resolved the issue. I have always had positive experiences in the past but this place is not the same level as the others. I will be traveling again in two weeks and will find a different place to stay.

Very friendly staff! I am just staying here for one night on a business trip. It's very clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you could ask for. I would definitely stay here again!

April who does breakfast in the morning is the best. She was so good with my two year old and she even gave him some rubber ducks to play with.

Great hotel. Located near the mall. Love the indoor pool and sauna. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff.

I came into the hotel on Sunday evening trying to get a room. I was going to be a walk in due to not knowing I was needing a hotel. I sat there and I waited for about 20 minutes, due to nobody being at the desk. When the clerk finally did show up, she was very rude and didn't seem like she liked her job or her guests. She wasn't helpful at all. I ended up leaving and going to a different hotel. I don't think I will be returning to this particular Fair field. I have stayed at this location before and it's normally very friendly. Most of the front desk people, house keepers and even the breakfast workers are normally very nice. But it seems this hotel is going downhill. And I don't believe I will be giving any more of my time nor money to this hotel.

This place was clean. The breakfast was ok, nice salt water pool with no towels. One of the 3 to eleven staff a young lady was clearly annoyed I asked her to do something she got paid for. In their defense it seemed as if some transitional work was going on. Possibly a renovation or update of some sort. We plan to return and Im sure it will be better.

Below average. Elaverator was out. Room was on 23rd floor. Quoted $89. Then had senior discount. Price with senior discount $89. Some discount. Walls very then. At 1030ish am while getting dressed, our door opened. It was the cleaning lady. No knock or Any thing. Check out time was noon. Front desk ladies were nice. It seemed to me they were having a lot of issues that were not in their control.

Nice beds and pillows and room was already cooled to a good temp. Would stay again.

Housekeeping wasn't all that great and didn't replace what they removed from our room. But the people are nice and hospitable. 7/10 free breakfast. Oat meal was still oat-like, waffles were cute but tasteless. Overall I still enjoyed my stay.

The hotel staff was very helpful friendly and courteous. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was quite good. The only issues was the pool being dirty on one day and closed for cleaning the next. The pool is a good one for little kids that are not the best swimmers as it is from 3 to 4 ft deep.

The staff was great! Very accommodating. The rooms have to be my favorite yet. I stayed in one of the king executive suites. Very clean, the lighting in the rooms where the best I've seen:) The decorations and thoughtfulness that went into putting this hotel together just makes me feel so comfortable. Not to mention the amazing location! Walking distance to the Mall of Abilene and if you want to go the extra stretch for dinner… Copper Creek has to be the best steak in town!

The spa doesn't work and the pool is cold. I choose to stay to this hotel so my kids can play in the pool. Very disappointed.

Our school choir stayed here and it was pretty good as far as we could tell. It was undergoing renovations so it can only get better!

Pros: Great staff, the lady with long blonde hair in particular that cooks the eggs in the morning was so very sweet to my son and I adored that. All staff was ready to do whatever you wanted. The breakfast had a wide variety of things available-waffles, cereal, oatmeal, danishes, bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage (ditch the turkey sausage though, that stuff was gross, lol) milks and juices and coffee… the place was clean and well kept with the standards-blow dryer, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Amenities included a pool, Jacuzzi, workout room, and laundry. (which I personally used and both the washer and dryer worked like they were supposed to. ) The location is great too-within walking distance of various businesses including fast food: Sonic I think I remember, Ihop, some others, a Target, a Goodwill, even a vet. The mall is also a short distance away although I didn't get to go. There is a Fuzzy's Taco right there too that was always busy and unfortunately we didn't get to check that out either.
Cons: Is not pet friendly. Another MAJOR con is that the outlets for your various electronics are few and far between. You guys need to get with the times and update your outlets to be on top of the desks so people can charge their devices on them instead of hunting for the few there are down at the baseboard level and having to unplug something else to use them. We almost left behind my son's iPad charger because it was off by itself.

The room was very noisy. I could hear the people above me walking across their room during the night. It made resting difficult. The staff were incredible. The most disappointing thing was that we couldn't use the lobby for our own staff gatherings due to the fact that the hotel staff of visiting owners/managers were always holding meetings in the lobby. Wow! Really? You should have your business related meetings in another location and reserve the lobby/ breakfast are for the guests. We stayed four nights and there were interviews and meetings by hotel staff in the lobby every single day and several times throughout the day. Frustrating to say the least that we felt we were intruding and the one lady meeting with the management team was so loud as she spoke, even with my headphones on I could hear her talking over my music. It was unbelievable! Very disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone for future visits to Abilene.

Elevator broken room on 4th floor, room smells damp, nice people working here price good 100 a night.

Friendly staff in a nice hotel in a good location. Breakfast was good, too. Not the staff's fault but this could be a noisy hotel because of construction features. Hollow wood construction. That being said, our stay was quiet and comfortable.

I was really impressed with all the staff. Very caring and friendly. The pool was very clean. Clean towels on every chair. Hot tub was very nice. It is indoor and not much ventilation, so the smell of strong chlorine is only tolerable for twenty minutes. The rooms were very clean. Loved my stay. The price with tax was between $120 and $130 for two queens.

Great customer service and several kinds of pillows breakfast is great too. Lots of places to eat within walking distance would recommend this hotel.

Tammy and vanessa are awesome. This was my second stay here and it felt like home. The housekeeping team are some of the best. Thanks for making me feel @ home away from home.

Good place! WARNING! Dont eat at double daves pizza. The employees like to steal from customers who tip them 20 dollars after spending 140, and then the manager defends them. Scumbags.

Had a couple problems but they were fixed on the spot. Very nice people working. Kevin at the front desk was great.

The map on this place is not correct but the hotel is wonderful! The pool and hot tub is very clean, the rooms are awesome, and the beds are like sleeping on goose down. I have stayed at Fairfield inn before and will again.
