Whatever you do don’t stay at the Holiday Inn in Lexington HWY 378. Terrible staff (almost complete morons) and will charge you additional 150$ for things you don’t do. Not sure about Columbia but definitely don’t stay on HWY 378 in Lexington.

Terrible night at this hotel! Nasty bathroom… not enough towels and no soap. Dirty carpet in the room. Noisy guests all night long. Rude employees. Never again!

Very clean and the staff is very helpful.

The staff is helpful and friendly. I stayed a week here twice. If coming to Columbia SC this will be my go to place.

Nice facility and location, helpful front desk staff, great renovated rooms. Fitness room left a bit to be desired (no towels were available, and the wall mounted sanitary wipe dispenser, and the one on the counter were empty)

Upon walking through the front entrance, the first thing I said was "Wow, it smells so good in here! " That fresh, just clean smell. Their staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about services and the surrounding area. We were their for Our God-Son's wedding. Our room was clean and had that same fresh, just cleaned smell. Our Bed was comfortable. The only negative for me, was in Our Bathroom, there wasn't a ventilation fan. However, I enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was fine and the room seemed clean, but my husband's driver's license and debit card were taken from the room. There was a safe available which we obviously should have used. We were only there one night as we passed through the area from Tennessee and didn't stop anywhere else in Columbia. We know it was taken from there because the card was used to buy nearly $2400 worth of merchandise from 2 stores in Columbia before we left the hotel. The manager seemed professional. They checked and said that per key pads, no one entered our room. Someone obviously has access to the room somehow because we had the cards the night before and they were gone after we ate breakfast and worked out in the gym. We hung the do not disturb sign on the door when we left the room so the cleaning staff would know not to clean while we were at breakfast. If you decide to stay in this hotel, please learn from our mistake and use the safe!

Great stay. Wish the breakfast hours were longer. At least until 10:30, especially for casual travelers.

They are currently renovating and it looks beautiful! There is no type of construction in the way of the guest and the staff was so friendly! I recommend!

Checked in at 7:30 pm and asked for extra blankets and told they didn't have any clean and that it would be about an hour. 3 hrs later at 10:30 we finally we're able to go to sleep. I sent a message to the manager with no reply. Also sent a message to corporate with no reply. Will no longer be using holiday inn for my many business trips.

Hotel location was perfect. Only problem was that remodeling was occuring so the lobby, etc was a mess. Then we were given a room on the second floor, right behind the elevators and we could hear the loud noise from a machine being used to remove the flooring on the first floor. I a headache by the time I left!

Although construction is going on, the accommodations are excellent. Breakfast was hot and fresh and the service courteous and swift. The only complaint is that we did not have our room cleaned, towels replaced or beds made and when we complained, we were told house keeping had already went home. Hopefully they can remedy this in the future.

Beware! Anyone can get a key to your room simply by giving the front desk your last name. I went to the front desk to get a new room key. We had misplaced ours. No one was at the desk. Waited a good 2-3 minutes before help arrived. No apology for the wait. Told the girl I needed a new key. She asked my last name and gave me a key. Never asked for my ID. When I questioned her, she said she recognized me. Impossible since I had not been to the desk previously. My husband had checked us in the night before, and we had been gone all day. She said it’s their policy to just ask for a name and issue a new key. Was thrilled to get back to my room to find the dead cockroach my son stepped on this morning before we left for the day was still on the floor when we got back in the room. Housekeeping does a jam up job too.

The people were nice but told us we had a king with a pull out couch but we actually had two doubles. The room door slams if you're not careful. Two of the three pieces of the gym equipment were broken. Overall, not a good experience but at least the people were kind.

Decent hotel, rooms are nice and the water pressure and internet are great there's plenty to eat and do in the area. Just be aware as a whole Columbia is a rough place.

Customer service is well and hosts in the front are polite and accomidate for means of people. Overall a well hotel and good vibe.

Traveling by I decided to stop by this Quality Inn for the night. I have stayed at Quality Inn's before without and issues but this was not the case for this run down hotel. Check-in was fine but that is the only redeeming quality of this place. When I walked into my room I was immediately struck by heat. I looked at the thermostat and it was set to 89 degrees! I was able to turn it down but the room stayed warm all night. The comforters were dirty along with walls and carpets. The bathroom was in the worst condition. The bathroom door had no latch to doorknob so you could not close bathroom door, the walls and door dirty and stained, shower curtain rod bent and broken, yellowed tub and toliet that included cigarette burns, a shower regulator that kept changing itself to scalding temperature, light fixture with nothing in it. Unbelievably I stayed to tired to continue driving. When checking out I thought I would grab breakfast. Upon looking at the selections everything looked stale. I was hungry so I thought I would try the biscuit and gravy but I did not get past picking up biscuit the felt like a hockey puck. I saved myself and more misery and went elsewhere. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stay in.

Came in town on business last night and booked a room here, the bed was comfy and the room was clean… Had a hot shower and relaxed… The guy with the dreads was welcoming when checked in… The reason I gave three stars and the problem came in with the staff and breakfast… The breakfast was not fresh and not what I’ve had at other holiday inn express, I had to wait until the staff that was working there, fixed their plates to eat in which I’ve never seen the staff eating from the breakfast buffet and make the customer wait in line… Also I was in room 220 and the housekeeping staff of three gathered to talk loud in front my door, gossiping about someone shouldn’t get hired to work there again and was cursing as if they were at home, it was very unprofessional and when I tried to complain to the young lady at the checkout desk, she seemed not to care… I had no problems with renovations, however I didn’t like the fact I was informed about possible noise after I paid and was already booked in, I would never want to pay to stay somewhere, during renovations when there are other hotels in the area… I didn’t have any problems with renovation noise, while I stayed 1-2-18 until 1-3-18… I’m probably not going to come back…

Very sorry impersonable front desk staff. Made reservations asked for early check-in a week in advanced, I was told that would be fine and they would be making a note on the system. After arriving after a 15 hour drive I was told their was no early check in, and that I could not get a room until 3pm at regular check in. Long story short I end up cancelling reservation and stayed at Hilton down the street with a friendlier staff and early check in. Do not here.

This is a nice hotel with a clean room. The bathroom has a ton of pressure in the shower. The bed is comfy and the room is quiet. Friendly staff that gave me no issue when presented with a tax exempt form.

A Great overnight stay. The staff was friendly and it's very clean. My husband and I entertained our friends and family as we waited for The USC Game to start later that evening…

Front desk was friendly and helpful, the room was better than I imagined and very well kept. Much bigger than I thought. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would come back again.

Acting Supervisor a Winner He needlessly encouraged us to speed to get here by 8pm then rescinded his comment after I pointed out that he encouraged speeding. He outright called me a liar which was completely uncalled for when all he had to do was verify what I was saying electronically and of course later denied having done so. He refused to give me his last name. He frequently half smiled in the style of a serial killer. Only stayed bcuz of Irma and sold out hotels. Never again.

Clean room. Great location. Toilet didn't work so well. Friendly staff. Free breakfast.

This hotel was very clean and super convenient to both the lake and downtown areas. The staff was nice. My only suggestion is to serve breakfast later.

We reserved a king size bed w/ sleep sofa suite to watch the solar eclipse, and we were charged a fair price for the accommodations in spite of the big tourist event. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and featured amenities such as a mini-fridge, microwave, and a bathtub / shower combo. In addition, the selection of food offered for the complimentary breakfast was better than that offered by similar hotels we've patronized.

Staff very welcoming. Toliet didn't work well. Breakfast was okay. Cleanliness was fine.

Staff was very nice and helpful but the first room we were put in had broken AC 424, and was moved to 422 and door was hard to open and no hot water. Ice machine broken on that floor as well. Older Hotel that needs some work.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and better than average HIE breakfast. Close to shopping and restaurants. Convenient I-26 access. Walking trail adjacent to hotel leads to mall in one direction and a small lake encompassed by the trail and nice homes the other way.

Pretty much a perfect place to stay on a business trip, clean, modern rooms, quiet, and a decent breakfast to get you rolling! More than fair price and will stay there again, plus within a good walk to the restaurants! Their Wi-Fi was more than sufficient for work and streaming movies. The staff is friendly and gave us some restaurant recommendations that we followed.

Great location! There's the Columbiana mall, plenty of restaurants, and a Dave & Buster's in the area. Friendly staff! My membership status was recognized and had a warm welcome. A FD agent got my room a late checkout that was available since my family and I we we're driving back to Charleston. Great overall. Always great beds and excellent breakfast in the morning. Have yet to be disappointed with a HIExpress.

I did not enjoy my stay at this particular Holiday Inn. Came in town from Georgia for my daugter's birthday party, I have a room with a pull out sofa. No on should expect to go down stairs to get your bedding, this is not the barracks; signing out bedding… those days for me are long done for me! Then no one cleaned the bathroom properly for there is beard shavings; at least I hope that is the hair source, in the sink! The next night coming back to my room I finally asked for bedding I got 3 different sheets, keep in mind I had my purse, my daughters presents, shoes, and another bag in hand, but he had to go back and get the comforter too! No way, I was wore out no one should have to do all that. I just went to my room and carried what I was able too. Not staying at this one again this one again.

Suckssss… no pool no spa… no room services but awesome staff. He was nice & very understanding.

Room felt dated. The fan in the bathroom was broken and the bathroom want fully stocked at check in. The breakfast area was understaffed, a bit dirty, and missing most of the normal food items. Staff was at least friendly so 2 stars.

The staff was so awesome especially Miss. D was so sweet to my family. I almost did not wanna go back to NC! The front desk has the best customer service and they were so friendly. They make you feel at home it was worth every dime :-)

Nice, clean, very comfortable. But I didn't enjoy their food. Everything else was alright an nice staff.

We showed up an hour after checkin and housekeeping was still cleaning the rooms so people were sitting around waiting for the room they paid for to be available to them. They took $15 off our bill and gave us some bottled water (thanks). The door locks are messed up, there's no bathroom fan, and please don't get me started on breakfast. There was almost nothing available (no milk, no eggs, no pancakes, rotten bananas, etc) and no one working or willing to step up and help. Tried to use the restroom on my way out and housekeeping was using it with the door unlocked. I couldn't get out of that place fast enough. There are plenty of other options in this area. Learn from our mistake and go anywhere else.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly. I really enjoyed the 24hr coffee bar with pumpkin spice (and others) creamer. The breakfast was bland and plastic-like. Also, they were having lots of problems with door locks.
