A low quality Hampton Inn. Definitely shows signs of age, which is understandable, but the lack of interest by the front desk is inexcusable. The room has a shower (only) with a six foot tall shower door system. One of the doors fell off, missing my foot by a few inches. A full size glass door like this weighs enough to break bones. After reporting this, all I got was a shrug. The room door didn't close by itself either. I check but was almost caught off guard as only cheap places have this problem. Ultimately I talked to the actual hotel management and they were going to look into these issues, but I also learned the hotel will be phased out by the end of October. There is a new Hampton a few hundred feet away replacing this one.

Nice staff, clean rooms, fine breakfast. Quieter than I expected for an airport hotel, honestly. Only strange thing is that my wife and I were put in a room with two double beds (we thought they were queens until we laid down, or we might have asked to switch rooms). Only docking a star for that because I don't remember ever seeing double beds in a Hampton. Usually it's either two queens or a king. Double check when booking!

Always friendly attentive staff. Have stayed numerous times always same service. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Feels like home away from home.

I was happy with this hotel. I had a room with a king bed. It was small, but nice. The blinds kept the room very dark, which I really appreciate. The free, hot breakfast is pretty good as compared with other free hotel breakfasts I've had. There are eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, and yogurt. The staff was helpful. It's maybe a 10 minute drive. There is also a pool and fitness center, but I didn't use them this time.

Great stay. Clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and all day coffee available in Lobby. Shuttle service was a great convenience. Outstanding service. Elisabeth was the receptionist and she turned out to be so personable and helpful. She really helped make our stay wonderful.

A very nice hotel. Give it a try. Now, I noticed a lot of workers there. The carpet is a little stained and the elevator smells a little bit of oil but those are the only downfalls! The rooms are immaculately clean. Even the carpets. Everything smells great everything works perfectly. I love the dark rich decor, it fits the Charleston area. Water pressure is great. Housekeeping doesn't bother you but is very helpful if needed. The front desk staff is nice. It's perfectly adequate. I'd stay there again if traveling.

I booked this hotel with little expectations because of the price. But man, you get more than your monies worth. The free shuttle with the coolest guy you will ever meet named Bill will make your stay worth wild. Breakfast was good as hell and the cook reminded me of a warm welcoming Motherly feeling and convinces your she put her for in it. Lol I can go on and on but great service. The only concern is my there are no smoke free rooms available.

I was treated very poorly by all the staff. They had no regard for customer service. The hotel was also very dirty. I am usually very happy with the customer service I receive from hilton rewards hotels but this hampton inn was terrible! I would not even recommend my worst enemy to stay there. Visitors beware!

Cleanest hotel at its price point in the area. Staff is very friendly. There are two convenience stores within a 3 minute stroll. The beds are comfortable and the linens are always very fresh.

Wonderful stay, grat room, good food and grat personal.

This hotel is horrible! We stayed here on a weekend getaway due to rates downtown being so expensive. When we checked in we had to report that the AC unit in our room squeaked like a rusty old car. They sent someone to "fix it" which only made it worse. The suggested alternative was giving us a fan that blew dust all over the room the second you turned it on. They finally replaced the unit on the 2nd day. Good luck getting any sleep in this place anyway since the walls are so thin and the housekeeping staff is so loud. You can always hear them or any guests in the hall… and if you're lucky enough to have a connecting room those people sound like they're in your room as well. Finally, when we were checking out we couldn't even take a hot shower because they had no hot water! Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else!

I accidently left my wallet in the hotel room after checking out. They called me within 20 minutes of leaving to let me know which was cool, however the $60 cash that was in my wallet was missing. I don't drink alcohol or do drugs, so there is no chance of having spent it and forgetting because of reasons. The hotel itself was nice and all. Over all I'd say a solid 3-4 star hotel outside of the theft.

Hotel rooms and lobby looks nice. Not in a great location but somehow l Keeps more guest than other hotels close by.

The people are very nice. Rooms clean. Breakfast is great. Beds are the most comfortable I've had at a hotel.

Had we been given the room we reserved, I possibly would have rated this hotel higher. We made a reservation for a non-smoking room with 2 twin beds with a check in of 3:00 PM for a Saturday. When we showed up at 5:30 PM, we were told that the room we reserved had been given away and that there were no non-smoking rooms with 2 twin beds available. Rather than upgrade us or put us in another room, we were told that we could wait and whenever a non-smoking room with 2 twin beds was cleaned, we would be able to get the keys. We told the manager we understood them being busy, but would they be able to put their cleaning staff on a room that was similar to what we had reserved right away since we were practically the only people in the lobby waiting (we arrived shortly before one other couple), we were told by the manager on duty that "four cleaning ladies are on one floor, whenever they get to a room that meets your reservation they will get to it, and we would be able to get our room keys at that time". After waiting 25 minutes, we were able to find a different hotel that could accommodate us (The Embassy Suites). Had the manager simply apologized and offered to get his cleaning staff on a room for us right away, we would have stayed and possibly enjoyed the hotel. For these reasons, I will not be attempting to stay at this hotel again.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Charleston best hotel in the area if theres anything I need they always accommodate me polite and helpful staff id definitely recommend this hotel.

Loveddd the week I stayed is around many places to eat and malls. Plenty grocery stores and gas stations. Always clean room and good breakfast.

Worst hotel I have stayed at ever. Hampton Inns are generally very consistent and we always use them. Stayed at this particular one due to proximity to the airport. Never ever again. Room smelled terribly, bathroom was a little bigger then one would find in a camper. Carpet in hallway was dirty. Entire vibe of hotel was less then what Hampton Inn has become known for. This particular Hampton needs to be torn down.
