I love everything about this hotel. It's in a wonderful location and Homewood Suites as always are excellent, but this one in particular is beautiful. The grounds are nice, there a couple of gazebos for outdoor sitting, extra outside seating areas, fireplace, grill, etc. Can't wait for our next visit.

I’ve stayed at four other Homewood Suites and found them to be clean and nicely updated. The location of this hotel is good, but the hotel itself is sad. There is rust in the bathtub, the room smells like a musty, wet basement, there are stains all over the couch and what looks like a blood stain on the curtains. There isn’t much parking, so you’re stuck parking in an overflow parking lot. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

This hotel is very nice! You have everything at your fingertips.

I LOVED my stay here! The staff was excellent, nightly socials were amazing, and the room was awesome! We had a one bedroom king suite and loved it! We will most definitely be booking here when we come back! Not to mention the drive to the beach was less than 5min!

This is a very new, pristine hotel that really blends in with the surrounding vibe. Only complaint would be about breakfast — we arrived towards the end of breakfast so of course everyone was scrambling and lines were long. However, the staff didn't seem prepared to handle it or something — almost nothing was restocked. I understand because I work at a hotel if some things are not stocked but when almost everything is obviously been out for hours or just completely gone, that leaves guests unsatisfied.

Great place. Staff is friendly, room service is quick, pool is clean, breakfast and dinner area is very clean and gets restocked as soon as a food item is running low. The patio/lounge area is beautiful and comfortable to sit around and eat. Overall, highly recommend if you are going to Isle of Palms!

We booked this hotel for a 2 week period, because we were from out of town and my wife was having to deliver at MUSC. They were quick to give us a first floor room to make it easier on her. When we found out halfway through the stay that we needed an extra few weeks, they really delivered. They extended our stay, allowed us to stay in the same room the whole time, and didn’t charge us until we checked out. The location of this hotel is perfect, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the surrounding restaurants and stores are very convenient. The breakfasts every morning and the complimentary happy hours during week days were a great perk. We ate there for dinner multiple times, it was that good. Even had beer on tap (and it was free). I wish I could remember everyone’s names at the hotel, because they were all fantastic. We interacted with three gentlemen at the front desk (I remember Greg being one of them), and we saw Angel on a daily basis. She was wonderful, and always took care of us. The housekeeping staff was also great. Very friendly and helpful! Overall, wonderful experience, and we would certainly recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel is beautiful. It's clean, well lit, and inviting. The room was roomy and comfortable for our family of five. Our kids were super excited about the (well maintained) pool and basketball court! They offered a nice variety of food/beverage at the "Happy Hour" and breakfast buffet. Both of which had good flow with adequate seating for guests (something that can be a nightmare at other hotels). However, during our one night stay, we encountered a loud water/air/"whooshing sound" every 3-5 minutes for the entire night. The sound was loud and lasted about 5-10 seconds each time. Needless to say, we were up and down throughout the night. My two star review is a reflection of how the matter was dealt with. While pleasant and customer service oriented, the front desk representative (M. Nelson) essentially said there was nothing they could do to compensate us for our dismal night stay. Because I had prepaid, he could offer us nothing except a promise to have maintenance look into the loud sound. We prepaid for two rooms. We spent over $340 at this hotel and were disappointed at how our experience was handled. Such a bummer. Beware of room.

We give them an overall grade C… first room we got on 1st floor smelled of strong mildew. When we advised the front desk they offer a new room on the 2nd floor… it was a little better but it seems they may have a mildew in the ventilation. Pool is very small and no lights came on in the surrounding area of the pool so the kids didn't feel comfortable with swimming. Breakfast was okay. Good front desk service/custom service.

Staff was awesome. Room wasn't equipped with enough utensils in the kitchen, but they were happy to help.

This place was so wonderful! My granddaughter & I really loved our stay! Perfect layout with loaded kitchen & separate living room, tastefully decorated, clean & quiet. It was situated in beautiful location & just walk over to super shopping & restaurants which overlooked pretty lake. The pool was great & free breakfast was delicious. Best thing was that it was right across bridge to Isle of Palms Beach! I’ve recommended to several people.

Stayed here twice. Nice rooms clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast as well as the afternoon social hour is very good. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay here when in the area next time.

The Homewood Suites was a great place for us to stay for a mini-Spring Break. The suite allowed us to spread out more than a normal hotel room and being able to close the bedroom door let us rest while others watched TV. The small kitchen is great for leftovers and keeping drinks cold. There is even an icemaker in the freezer. The location is ideal for the area and there are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The only downside for us was that the pool was fairly small, although it was a nice area around it, and the construction of the lobby and breakfast area that has apparently been going on for a while. The staff did their best to work around it, but it was clearly taxing for them. We will consider staying here again when we come back to Mt Pleasant.

I made a reservation for 3 nights via Priceline for $500.85. I checked in and my Visa I offered for incidentals was authorized for another $485. I don’t understand you pay Priceline then the hotel charges your card again? I had $1000 for my boyfriend and I to enjoy the weekend $985 ended up in the hotel pocket. There was a blood spot on the sheet in the bed from previous guests. The hotel is under renovations, and the breakfast is being held in a smaller conference room. We got there at 9am, there were about 50 people congregating around, about 10 tables which all had people sitting at them. It was very chaotic and distraught. I grabbed some eggs and grits and went up to my room to eat. The eggs were burnt, but cold. We decided to cut our trip early and check out after the second night. I did not complain to the front desk because there was no reason to. Nothing was the fault of the person of the desk. (I feel like they get annoyed all day by people, they don’t need me telling them how I think their breakfast room and turn down service were not up to par. ) I called Priceline asking for a refund for the night I didn’t stay there. The Priceline rep explained he had to call the hotel and confirm my story and request a refund. He did and the hotel denied my request for the refund for the night I wasn’t there bc that’s their policy. I’m confused. The hotel can’t refund third party bookings, but Priceline said they could. I get it. Life’s not fair.

Love this place the hotle is clean the staff are friendly plus restaurant and store are with in walking distance. And the beach is 7 minute drive grate spot.

It couldn't have been better. Great location, nice area, 15 minutes to Downtown Charleston. Eatery's, shopping, and Target right out your door. Friendly staff. Breakfast and a light dinner complimentary (Monday-Friday). Breakfast everyday.

Even under construction and renovations they excel at service. Fantastic breakfast and evening snacks are an incredible plus. Rooms always comfortable and fully equipped.

Under renovation so can't give a great opinion but rooms were fine. A|C didn't function first night but they fixed it. Pull out beds were not comfortable for an adult but fine for kids.

We drove up from Ft Lauderdale FL to spend some time with family. We also brought our 2 small dogs. Seeing that on the Google map quest they were pet friendly. After walking in we saw the signs no pets allowed. We were booked for 2 nights we we went up to the front desk and talked to them about our two dogs and how far we have traveled… it was a little late and we were ready for a shower and bed. After telling them the situation they said it was no problem they will give us ail pass this time. They have just recently changed from pet friendly to no pets. We were so so happy to have them say it was ok… they were so so nice and understanding. Just outstanding. So we have enjoyed our beautiful hotel sweet and the amazing happy hour / and food that was complementary. This Homewood suites is fantastic. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very nice. The lobby was clean and bright. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a decent free breakfast. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Hotel rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Staff was fantastic. The hotel has free hot breakfast and an outdoor pool, which was nice to swim in and relax next to. The hotel was also close to many restaurants and shops.

Had a very pleasant 3 night stay here with wife and two kids. Breakfast eating area and lobby were spacious and modern. We arrived prior to check in and there was plenty of room in the lobby bathroom to change for the beach. Public laundry as a bonus. Ideally located near the Isle of Palms beaches, we'll be staying there again. Exceptionally good value for the money.

Good location — within walking distance of Harris Teeter and Target as well as local restaurants. Full kitchen (minus oven) a plus as well. Good place to stay if spending a week on vacation and didn't want to rent an entire house.

Welcome to Homewood Suites, the often overlooked little brother in the family of Hilton Hotels, where a nightly Happy hour with atrocious spaghetti and meatballs will leave you running for the bathroom. Or may it's the caffeine laden sweet tea that is made in a coffee maker. That's like basic food service 101 NOT to do. Thanks by the way for my nervous sick feeling special needs kid who was jacked on 1 cup of caffeine rich tea/coffee. And moving on; in the mornings you get a… less than average continental breakfast of all the things US Foods seems too fattening and full of no products to mention. Yeah people are eating to because it's free. Oh and put out cereal but no milk "cuz the truck didn't come" when there's a store 200 ft from the hotel. But if you survive the room smelling like body odor and fish or the zero stuff on TV or the crappy pillows ANY KIND of food in the AM will help, or not. It is a shame this was a free room due to a two day water outage earlier in the year in Baltimore, so maybe I should be quiet and not complain but I would have rather went up the street to a better place and paid.

This is our favorite place to stay when we come to the Isle of Palms in Mt Pleasant. All rooms are 2 bedroom suites with a kitchen equipped with the basics (even a full size refrigerator, range and microwave. You get breakfast and dinner and the staff is super friendly.

Had a guy pound on my door at 1am, hammered. Called the front desk, took another 30 minutes to get someone upstairs. So much for doors always locked for my safety. Next day they felt really bad, so they offered me a bottle of water to make up for it. No thanks. Just keep out the crazy in the future.

This place could stand an update. First room was not clean. Second room was fine. A less than average Homewood Suites.

Bad. The first floor is a Kennal! Smells like dogs. Dogs barking in rooms ALL day long. People bring there dogs to breakfast? Have to beg to get room cleaned and even then its only half ass. To many nice places to stay in the area to stay here. Wont happen again.

Comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good and had lots of options. The staff was super friendly and even the guests that were there were friendly too! Even though renovations were happening the hotel was clean and everything was up to par.

Look past the remodeling and minor construction… this place is a definite place to come back to. Check in was a breeze, the room was neat, clean and refurbished completely. The kitchenette had everything you need to cook and eat with. Plenty of cool little eateries and shops within walking distance. Ate at a place called Crave about 59ft away… AMAZING! Look, for the price, this place is top notch. You spend very little for so much. All the negative comments stem from people with serious personal issues… "Oh, my bed was lumpy", "My kid is gluten intolerant", "There was a string on the floor". Give me a break! I've traveled all over the world and have stayed in places seriously questionable. However, this place really is a comfortable, and inexpensive gem. If you have a problem, call the front desk! Most places would break their necks to try to make the miserables happy. Come here, stay here… enjoy the beach, eat at the local spots and enjoy! And for Pete's sake… undo your tie or loosen up the waist band in your skirt and live a little. I'm coming back for sure… and if your one of the miserables I've mentioned before and are staying here the next time I'm in town… I'll buy you a drink so can relax! See y'all next time!

Even with all the construction (they are renovating the hotel) this is still my all time favorite place to stay. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, it's always clean and the location is perfect. The beach is two minutes away and there is plenty of shopping nearby. And downtown Charleston is only ten minutes away. By far my favorite place to stay when I'm in Mt. Pleasant!

The staff: nice & helpful — The rooms: here are a few problems we had water damage, broken bedroom light, no ceiling in closet (just water pipes), wads of hair on floor, dirty comforter. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Room was dirty. Stains all over kitchen and tub. Bed was lumpy in places neither my wife and I could sleep. Food on floor. Would never stay there again.

We stayed in a 2 room suite over the weekend trip. It was very clean, spacious and modern. Breakfast was awesome. I have no complaints about this hotel.

The room was ok. The breakfast staff was using her bare hands to put out the food. Our daughter is gluten intolerant and she could not tell us anything at the breakfast was gluten free. Said she could not even look at the ingredients because they throw every box away when they put the food out. Also trash can under the sink was full with beer bottels when we arrived. Very disappointed.
