Dont be fooled thinking the outside looks like an older style motel. Has been updated, and extremely clean. Very pleasant employee at office. She was very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again on my travels.

Comfortable, clean room. The Continental breakfast was not as generous as most — cereal, a waffle maker, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs were pretty much it. But the coffee was passable and the room was fine!

This place is right behind a bar which was extremely noisy on a Friday night. Their breakfast area is very small and lame. Room needed some serious updating. The Super 8 across the street looked like it would probably be a better bet.

Terrible customer service. The lady in front office was so rude, she does not know how to interact with customers appropriately. The only good thing about here is the Wild Goose restaurant next to it.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, nice and quiet. I'd stay there again.

Ask for the pet rooms. They don't smell like mold and mildew. If you are looking for the cheapest place then this is it. Breakfast bar area need to be updated.

The accomodations are modest, clean and ancient. Surprisingly good restaurant. Very eclectic menu selevtion. Walking distance from largish modern shaping center and gas stations. For it'll price, provides unbeatable satisfaction for value-conscious travellers.

Was clean and I was so happy. Should put an envelope in the room so we can tip… I did leave a tip any way.

THIS is top on my list of places to stay. Easy in and out near so many places you may need. "The Wild Goose" is right out the door and so good to eat any meal you may wish. I will plan to stay there again. WISH all Rodeway Inn's were as good as this one.

Too bad about the tweekers. They shouldn't have affected the rating.

Easy check in with no reservations, very clean rooms, pretty quiet easy sleep. Would definitely stay again.

Nice looking on the outside and the room was very clean, comfy, and new looking. Yummy breakfast, free decent Wifi and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through!

The staff is very friendly. The lady that checked us in has a wonderful sense of humor. The room was pretty clean but could use a sharper eye on inspection. Ac didn't get cold. There's so many places to eat and shop close by that it's almost hard to choose the first one.

Our two queen bed room was pretty spacious, and had some great amenities that I didn't expect: a mini-fridge, a microwave, a TV with free HBO, and a 4-cup coffee pot. There were even granite countertops and shower walls! I rated it 4 stars because the pillows are a little on the stiff side (I always bring my own to hotels so it wasn't an issue, but I know not everyone does).

This is a motel, but a spotless one with everything in working order (unlike some I've been to on road trips). It has a nice little pool, too. The Wi-Fi was very slow, but I was there for live theater. While it's not downtown by the theaters, it was a short and easy route via car.

Price was good, and it was very clean and stylish furniture. Bathroom roomy. Free breakfast great!

Great place to stay if you want to be kept awake all night by tweekers.

There is a very loud bar next too it. Kept me up till 1:00am. It's an ok place to stay if your not planning on sleeping before then.

We have been staying at this hotel for years. The price is very reasonable, the rooms are clean, and there is good access to the Bear Creek trail. The owners take a great deal of pride in their hotel because every time we come there is always some new improvement. The last time we stayed there, I accidentally left some clothes. It took me several days to realize my mistake. The hotel owners still had them and immediately shipped them for a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this hotel and I continue to be impressed with the management.

Remodelled rooms new comfy beds and the best cleanest newest bathroom of my trip. A fan! Most places lack them, then wonder why they battle mold and dry rot. This place has it all figured out. Keep up maintenance and have friendly staff. It's not that hard.

Place was very clean, staff friendly. It's an older building but updated in the rooms and maintained well.

Great hotel! Best in ashland ecpecially for the price. Beds were very comfortable and clean and the people were very nice. This was the 4th hotel we went to in ashland. Dont even bother with the super 8 across the street will stay here anytime I am in the area. Oh and eat at the wild goose there its wonderful!

I've stayed at all the cheap motels in Ashland by now, and this is the one I'll come back to. Not much to look at on the outside, but the rooms are clean, and beds are comfy, shower pressure is great. Check-in was easy. Wi-Fi is kinda terrible, though.

Excellent value! Paid $79 in October 2014. The motel is old and some of the repairs ad-hoc. But there room was immaculately clean and quiet and I'd happily return. We didn't eat the free breakfast of Froot Loops, Raisin Bran, individually wrapped danish, yogurt, fruit. And the coffee tasted like brown water. But next door was an excellent restaurant that stayed open till 11. Also next to shopping center with Rite Aid, Albertsons, Starbucks mid-priced Korean, Japanese, Chinese American restaurant and a hippy pizza place (and a gluten free bakery was opening soon). Has a small pool. It's minutes to the Ashland Shakespeare Fest and other Ashland attractions. Our room was called non-smoking, but there were plenty of smokers in the parking lot, so there was a mild smoky imposition. But it wasn't the least bit noisy during our 3 nights. A great value, aka cheap motel.
