Great Hotel, an amazing service, love Soho. Simply the Best!

Very helpful check in staff. Typical small size room, but to be expected in lower Manhattan. All services and amenities were in place when and where needed. Convenient location. Would certainly book another stay if needed.

No — lol don’t book it. It basically has no lobby (very odd) the restaurant has terrible service and its very small. The burger was not bad. I will not book again. Thought I would check it out though. FYI ambassador elite Marriott member so I see lots of hotels.

Great location in Soho.
Rooms are simple but incredibly comfortable (& super quiet).
Le CouCou for breakfast or dinner is a must. Will definitely be returning.

Called the hotel this evening for several reasons. To inquire about the lounge they have and to book a room. I was hung up on 3 times. I asked to whom I was speaking to and was told I do not need to know his name. I called at 6:15 pm. Extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. You are in the field of hospitality and customer service. Your job is to book rooms and answer questions your guests may have. To be hung up in the middle of speaking for no reason is beyond unexceptionable. Not once, not twice but 3 times. Will never stay here again.

Every space in this hotel is thoughtfully beautiful. Location is excellent as well.

Nice hotel with a great location. The staff is very helpful and attentive. They have an interesting approach to concierge. My only complaint is that the hallways are too dimly lit. I guess that is the style nowadays and I am getting old. Lol.

Beautiful design! Rooms were spacious, and perfectly appointed! Staff were gracious and helpful! A treasure that we will definitely revisit in the future!

A nice hotel with friendly staff and nice but bare rooms. I expected more for the price though and found it to be a bit lacking. The Terrace King was a bit underwhelming but I suspect it's because we didn't get one of the ones with a better view. A high floor corner room would have been better. Having the view be dependent on walking out on the terrace every time (and that not being that great) is a bummer. Also, what's with the sandpaper TP? There are better options in the area and I don't think I'll be returning to 11H. Didn't feel like 5 star hotel quality and was immensely overpriced. Almost no amenities to speak of.

The location is great for exploring soho and surrounding areas. The service is a bit too "cool" and understated. Unfortunately the rooms are tiny and although we had paid up for a more expensive deluxe room, it still felt small. We were due an upgrade anyway so asked why it hadn't been provided. Some lie about no upgrades past deluxe but that wasn't mentioned anywhere. In fact the first guy told us the hotel was full and no available upgrades but that was clearly a lie, he hadn't even checked! Anyway, the bigger room vibrated to the shakes of the metro and we could hear music from the nightclub a few floors below. Would never stay here again, what's the point?! Hotels are for comfort and relaxation away from home. Nice design but so what if you get service like this? Shame.

Small rooms with thin walls. No real amentities (spa cost money) and gym is basically non existent. No coffee machine or water in room. Doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel experience.

Not too bad. Ratings indicate this is a 5 Star Hotel. That is debatable. Definitely a 4 Star and recommended due to its proximity to Little Italy, Tribeca and even the Financial District. Ambiance could use a boost; it seems like the hotel doesn’t know what it wants to be — chic or laid back?

Had a really great time! Staff was incredibly polite and attentive. Rooms were clean, well kept and styled, and adequately equipped. They even brought us a humidifier upon request! Toiletries were very high quality. Although smaller than usual, I still felt there was comfortable space for my needs. Was on 9th floor and noise was not a significant issue for city standards. Wish we could stay longer.

Fancy hotel, but needs new management. All personnel were disinterested and uncaring. You will be charged a fee at checkout "for Wi-Fi and exercise room", so the price is not what you pay upfront. The entry area to the hotel is empty and bizarre and makes you wonder if you are in the right place. You may not even see anyone around to check you in. The room itself is great and comfortable and well designed. Views over the city and location near to Canal Street and Lafayette. Lots of great places to go out, eat, walk around nearby. Soho is amazing obviously. They placed a hold on my card for incidentals that was twice as much as I paid for the room. Why? The next door bar has people spilling onto the street and seems painfully hip and annoying. If you are comfortable dealing with them and the terrible service, the hotel could be worth it.

Room was clean + well decorated, library space was perfect to hang out & get some work done on a business trip. Rose hour on Saturdays around 6pm was a nice surprise. Friendly team.

Great location and facility. Rooms are standard NYC in term of size but very comfortable and clean, latest technology business — social oriented. Friendly and competent staff. Great food and service even though a bit overpriced for the selection offered. Only negative note was the gym. I did expect a better workout selection. However upon client request Hotel provides complementary pass for an external fitness center just a block away.

I cannot say enough about the staff here… probably the best experience I've had at a hotel. They make their guests feel right at home and are very helpful. I'll stay here again next time I'm in town.

I really like the vibe of 11 Howard. It's one of those places where you feel like you're a celebrity, except you're not as pretty as everyone else hanging out there. The rooms were nice, the service was friendly, and the Library / bar was pretty cool. The front lobby is a little unusual because it's just a station with a person using an iPad, so it threw us off at first. But the girl was really sweet and the doorman were great.

Day 1 Fantastic location and style. Accommodating staff with first rate service. We arrived from Vancouver island BC @ 10 am and invited to second floor lounge then concierge gave us suite an hour later @ 11 am versus 3 pm. Concierge printed broadway show tickets and delivered them to us.

Very lovely in a simple way. Staff pleasant. Only complaint is that bathroom had limited shelf or counter space; no place for toiletries and such.

They provided complimentary water, more than once. It's a hip, clean place to work and stay. The design was very welcoming and chic. Service was prompt, though I would say that they may have been busy at one point where they were unable to bring our bags up. It wasn't a problem though to pick it up. Rooms have a tablet to request anything needed. Breakfast was actually really appetizing and filling, especially the acai bowl. Rooms may be a bit on the smaller side for a king but very high ceilings. The view wasn't too bad considering we were on the seventh floor. The amenities such as the higherDose and gym were clean. Overall, a great, mellow, modern hotel with timely, albeit busy at times, service. They still went above to make sure our requests were met, doing so with a smile. Check in and check out were a breeze, no hassle, and definitely no pretentious or stuck up staff. Would stay again.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of Soho where impeccable attention to detail permeates everything. Outstanding service. Comfortable rooms.

Rooms facing Lafayette street are unbearably loud. The noise from subway trains and traffic will keep you up all night — and I was on the 9th floor. Great design and comfy beds. Too bad I couldn’t actually sleep in them.

Great hotel with cute design. I wish there was a mini bar in the room, and some options for food in the middle of the night. You do have a fridge, it's just empty. I heard from management that a new overnight menu will be rolled out soon. The toiletries are great. Good brand, great smell. While the bathroom is small, there is everything you need. The library is a nice place to work or enjoy a cocktail. I would be back.

This may be my new favorite spot to go and do some work. The Library is a delight to go jump on your laptop and they just may be doing a free wine happy hour, so check the site for days and times.

Higher Dose is great! The staff is super friendly and they make the experience so relaxing and lovely.

Nonsensical property. Check-in process makes zero sense and is a colossal waster of time. Restaurant offers no precedence for guests. The lounge is Chelsey and has no sense of place. The rooms are the size of a postage stamp. The design is not bad however. The 3rd level reeks from the weird spa they have here which is filthy dirty. The doors going into the spa look like someone sprayed them down with God knows what.

Stayed twice at this property, Small rooms, noisy AC, staff who don't really care, crap f&b offering and the bare minimum room ammenities at top $$$ why people rate this property 5* I cannot fathom. Email tag with GM about issues and nothing changes and they check me in to the same crap room I had 3 months ago. Tell them again about AC and they do nothing but lip service and I'm stuck here for 10 nights TORTURE!

My wife almost forced me to come here. And she was right! Large rooms for New York City. We were in their corner studio. The library is great and so is the bar. The ambiance is top notch even thoughdoing in neighbourhoods is not. But all in all, being close to Soho, I wholeheartedly advise this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay here. Great rooms. Comfy bed. Great breakfast in bed. Loved the second floor work space as well. Nice location very convenient to the 6, N, Q, W, R.

Rooms are small but very functional. Tablet in the room for room service etc. 40 inch flat screen. Comfy bed. Did not hear noise from upstairs. Bathroom is small but the shower has a rainfall type nozzle. Service has been good. Halls are darkly lit.

Very modern and minimal. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Location is amazing with a wonderful bar and restaurant.

Snazzy and minimalistic hotel. Check in was a breezy. They kept our bags until our rooms were ready as we walked around the city. The hotel looks exactly like the images — beautiful. Loved the nice touches — like second floor "lobby" area and great smelling shampoo/conditioner/soaps I wish their bikes were available for use. They were debuting that day for use but we were not allowed to use them due to the forecasted overcast and scattered rain. Never rained so that was annoying. But overall great location and very cool hotel.

I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. It was the 2nd time me and my girlfriend chose this hotel and I can only recommend a stay here when you visit Manhattan. Very nice staff, the location is perfect, very close to all the SoHo stores and everything you need! Already looking forward to our next stay!

What a great hotel! The rooms are actually as nice as the pictures (which is huge for me). The staff was so accommodating and nice. I didn't encounter even one sourpuss or person who looked like they had better things to do — they were all wonderful! I used to stay in Kimpton hotels but this is so much better. I'm converted! I'll be back for sure.

I didn't stay there, I only went to say goodbye to some friends whom were staying there. Though we did get a taste of their cafe and bar which was nice, the hotel was clean and very modern. Everything had that very "hipseter" vibe about it. We went there on fathers day and they gave us a free razor and a beer, very kind of them! Pretty good lobby and it was clean.

Clean, upscale hotel with super friendly and accommodating staff. Every time I stay here I get greeted by the nicest staff that are genuinely interested in trying to make it the best stay possible for me. Always leave with a smile on my face. Also, the bedding and bath products are awesome.

My husband and I live in the city and recently stayed at 11 Howard for a staycation — it was fabulous. We were pleasantly surprised at how incredible the service was, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, as well as the design and amenities were beautiful. It is centrally located right in the heart of SoHo with tons to do. I have really high expectations when it comes to hotels, and cannot say enough wonderful things about this location.

Had heard a lot about this hotel in the rags. Totally lived up to the hype. Interiors perfect. Staff average to good. Ate at LE COUCOU several times and enjoyed it. Close to Canal St Station. Rooms are generous and very clean. No noise heard from other guests. We felt like we were the only ones staying there.

I travel a lot for work so I have stayed at a lot of hotels. This one is by far the best. Very gracious and attentive service. Has a nice minimalist scandanavian style.

Excellent hotel in the best location in NYC! Overall experience was fantastic thanks to pleasant staff with a great attitude and consistent top service. Rooms are chic and common areas are very cool. Highly recommended!

Thanks for letting us in the room in the morning we check in! Close to the metro station, clean and cozy room. Wanted to try the bar at the second floor.

It's the first 5 stars hotel that I would not come back too. Dirty rooms, room service comes in paper containers in a bag was with the cheapest plastic fork and no napkins. Amenities are awful and poor. Rooms are tiny (which in NY I can understand) and expect for Jane in reservations the rest of the staff I talked to was not interested in working though they were very cool looking! Location is great on the good side! Oh and they brought us complimentary water and gummies for not cleaning our room.
