We had a private party downstairs. It was a lovely room, elegantly decorated and the service and food were on par with the room.

We went to the Crosby Bar to get banana split and found out that they do not have them on the menu. But since I told them I read somewhere that they make the banana split very very good, they accommodated my request. It was great! The serve was also on point. It’s a great spot to relax and have tea with your friends. Thank you Crosby Bar! I’m coming back! Will try the afternoon tea menu next! Check out the wonderful art pieces around the hotel too. Love this place!

Went to the restaurant patio. Beautiful and relaxing. Service a little slow but food was good. I think we we're seated between shifts. Definitely will be back.

Only went downstairs for a professional event. The food was good, coffee above average. The small theatre is great for groups up to 100 or so.

$48 per person for what you see pictured. The gentleman who served us is my favorite waiter of alltime. A very jolly man. He made us feel like royalty. The tea was great but the food was simply not worth the price. Not even close. Not for $24 would I do this again. But the server was very lovely, our table was quiet and uninterrupted, and I had a great time. Fancy, expensive, and not meant for normal people trying to catch up together.

We dined here for breakfast and I ordered the pancakes (as I did 2 years ago) they were divine! 10/10 for food, service and ambience. Will definitely go back here.

I attended a professional event at the Hotel. Staff was excellent. The event space was very nice, clean and modern.

Loved the intimate outdoor patio near the bar. It didn’t even feel like I was sitting in down town Manhattan and the food and drink were great. The champagne cocktails were very unique.

Ahhh I love this hotel. I come here for decor inspiration all the time. It has a great theater space and amazing beautiful amenities full of artwork. It's charming, colorful and expensive looking. The coffee and tea from the cafe/bar is like $8 but for some reason you just feel like it's worth it when you look around to see where you are. Not the best place for freelancers as for some areas you must be a hotel guest to hang out in. And there are no outlets in the cafe/bar area.

My host and I spent 3 hours having a long conversation and lunch. Delightful. It could have had the temperature monitored better. Don't miss tea served in sterling silver.

This past weekend, my family and I decided to book a reservation for afternoon tea. Firstly, it was super easy to make a reservation, and the staff member was very accommodating when we had to change our date and time. Once there, the atmosphere was adorable. It had a very quirky "Alice in Wonderland" feel with an element of class. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The service was decent — our waiter did disappear at one point, though, and didn't mention that he was changing shifts. So, we were a little surprised when someone new came to the table to help us. Now onto the food — we all got the traditional tea menu, and it was delicious. All of the savory bites were seasoned to perfections — the steak and stilton pie was hands down my favorite. The desserts were good, but I was slightly underwhelmed. I found several of them dry and bland. The tea, however, was exceptional. I tried their "mythical creatures" blend and was saddened to know that I could not buy it to take it home. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we've already talked about going back.

A nice hotel in a very good location. A bit noisy in the lobby, the rooms very quiet and very pleasant. The beds are very comfortable and clean. There is a star deduction because you have to wait for the elevator for some time, so really up to five minutes. Breakfast costs extra small portions but delicious. In the morning there is free coffee which you can take to the rooms.

Food, service, drinks, attention, confortable and so cozy place, feels like my home, and how about the 3 leches, margaritas, tacos and the piaxtla mole? Uffff.

Very nice hotel with modern works of art from Plensa, Kiefer and many others.
We were not staying but if we ate in their RTE very nice and phenomenal.
The service was very good and the waiters spoke all Spanish as they were Latinos and super-friendly.

The hotel, decor and staff were absolutely amazing! Everyone was so sweet, helpful and accommodating. The valet/bellman greeted and remembered our name every time we walked into the lobby. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 Star is because we were told there was a “honor bar” for guests only. We went in there write our items down on the clipboard, and tipped 30% cash each round. However, we were not told that if the “butler” poured your drinks that you would not only be charged for what you wrote down, but double for his pouring services. The main (public) bar had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend going in there instead.

My friend and I had aftern on tea here. Such a beautiful hotel. I felt a cross between London and Paris. I had traditional high tea. My friend had the gluten free high tea. The service could have been more attentive. The bathrooms are quite hidden. So if you cannot climb steps, not your place. The location is the best best part of this hotel.

Afternoon Tea, brunch and Film Club on Sundays at 8pm. Drawing room and sculpture garden are stunning. Fun and friendly bar team. If the rooms rates are in your budget, then splurge.

Magnificent design hotel, young and modern. Centrally located in Soho and close to Subway. Nice staff. Small common areas. Wonderful breakfasts in a restaurant of sleep. Works of art. Everywhere as the head of the Spaniard Jaume Plensa at the entrance.

The hotel itself was not visited. This review is for the dining area and the bar and lounge. I have to say everything was super chic, I would come here for a date. I came here for my friends graduation, and we bought champagne and cake, they were really helpful with our requests, and timing. There is a corkage and cutting fee (as expected) but it was worth it for us to see her smile. We got a prix-fixe menu, and they will do this for you on request. The food was good overall, with attention to detail and presentation, but I wouldn't give it high points for the tastiest fare in town. The drinks were super tasty though, perhaps get a liquid dinner. Oh and sit outdoors, the garden area is gorgeous.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but the Crosby Bar is a great place for cocktails. Extremely atmospheric lounge feel, high ceilings and chic decor, great craft and classic cocktails, and attentive service. Outdoor terrace looked inviting, though closed as we arrived (we were there after a later dinner).

The Crosby Street Hotel Bar is an oasis in the Soho/Spring Street area! Excellent cocktails and bar snacks, lovely high tea, and a great dinner and a movie deal on some Sunday nights with their film club. There are also two outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the nice weather.

The location is perfect and they have professional staffs. Clean and they have good security.

Like this hotel. The Firmdale Hotel has a large fan. Charming, quirky and comfortable … There is love in the lobby bar and restaurant. Are very attractive. The rooms are bright, with large windows and views of the city. The bed and shower are very comfortable … Service is good. Everything they did was great. It's expensive, but it's worth it … Location is very good!

This is by far the best place to stay while visiting NYC. I loved this boutique hotel and the doggie art was a bonus. The staff was super nice and helpful. Had breakfast that was delicious but the most impressive item was how immaculate our room was and the entire hotel. I'm in travel and inspect to the highest degree. Not anything negative to say about this hotel. Kit Kemps bath products were even lovely to use, and you can purchase them too. I can't wait to see her London hotels.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The price is super expensive around 750-800 a night. Rooms are super nice, clean and comfortable. Of course luxurious as well. The room I got had a huge window huge plus for me love to see the city view in the morning and evening. Overall great hotel to stay in.

Great location in the heart of SoHo with access to wonderful food and shopping nearby. They run a Sunday night Film Club that is open to guests as well as members of the public, you can have dinner and/or drinks at the Crosby Bar then the movie starts in the screening room at 8pm.

The screening room and event space at the Crosby Street Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The screening room holds about 100 people and is very comfortable with no bad seats in the house. Service in the hotel restaurant and bar was perfect and the cocktail menu is extremely impressive. I'm looking forward to going back for their Sunday night film club.

The front desk Chinese dude he was very racist he did not help me. I fly a lot and never seen this kind of behavior any where.

Went to a film screening. The room was a nice size with comfortable seats. Seems like a good place to have a cast/crew and family/friends screening without a red carpet.

Absolutely, positively loved our stay here! Upon arrival, we were greeted left and right by the bell boy, the valet and the hotel agent. He then upgraded me to an ocean view — which I didn't even request — at no additional charge. After walking down the beautiful hall to my room, where they place a fresh lavender sprig next to your hotel room number, I was immediately called by the operator to make sure everything was going well in my room. The bed was super comfy and the walls were thick enough that I didn't hear any hall way noise the entire night! I am looking forward to staying here again.

I stayed in this hotel for four days, enjoyed a particularly good time. Room is very large, there are a lot of United Kingdom style lighting. Very gentleman, very helpful staff. Breakfast is very good. Everything was very good. Rooms also have a beautiful terrace and living room, where you can relax.

Our very favorite place to stay in NYC. Super chic & eclectic! The decor is to die for & the service is on point. It's in a great location, close to lots of good shopping & restaurants! There tea is also a lot of fun! Can't wait to go back. It's pricy, but totally worth it!

Hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very nice size and clean. The rooms all have oversize Jacuzzi tubs, without the jets, but still nice since they are large enough for those of us who may like the extra room. The neighborhood seemed a little bit dumpy but I never felt threatened or afraid. The parking lot is fenced in but not locked up or closed in and well lit. It is away from the main stream of New York, but close enough that you can easily get there in a taxi. For those that are unfamiliar with taxi's, chicago is one of the cheapest places to use a taxi. I took the taxi from the Hotel to a restaurant on the north end for under $12. You just don't find that anywhere. Did I mention that the parking at the hotel is free as well. If you have a large vehicle they do have some street parking behind the hotel. With the hotel on State street you can easily catch a metro bus as well to New York, quite frequently.

Exceptional Rioja by the glass. Pricey, but good atmosphere for couples and small groups.

There's great space for business meetings, and film screenings as there is a mini cinema (so if you're an up and coming filmmaker looking to scout a producer or distributor, this is a great place for a private screening). The outdoor garden is a great place for a modeling shoot. The afternoon tea service in a separate drawing room is really something out of a movie or a english manor house. Right here in NYC that's so cool.

This cute boutique hotel offers great service, comfy beds, and a beautiful guests-only courtyard. Be sure to go to the Crosby Bar for cocktails, or go to the private screening room to watch a movie.

I love coming here, and I always recommend staying here to all my family and friends. They have a nice bar and restaurant. Beautiful rooms and decor. Amazing service.

Elegance and nothing more. This hotel is super chic and is located off the beaten path so many SoHo hotels do not do well. While the Mercer usually gets all of the press, I would rather stay here. The restaurant is delicious and the people watching is great. I would way people go to the Mercer to be seen, while people go to the Crosby to avoid being seen.
