So far so good. Valet couldn’t keep up And ended parking in a garage.

Clean; but housekeeping overlooked cleaning our room on the 3rd day… guess because we hadn't needed it up to that point. We keep our room clean! Great breakfast plenty of food! Hot and delicious! This hotel was perfect because it was close to Everything… Will definitely stay again ❤️

A bunch of money hungry bigots. Sho made light after over 190 NYC police where trying to locate my husband also male. They had nerve to make joke of his knife! Greed and bigotry you all will answer.

I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my mother’s birthday. At first, I was very pleased with this hotel and the staff, until I checked out. The day of check out I had 4 pending charges on my credit card: $60.00, $172.12, $126.88, and $126.88. When I went to check out I asked the front desk about these charges and she stated they will all be removed and I will only be charged for the night of $126.88. Days later I check my statement and I have been charged $126.88 PLUS $172.12. I called numerous times to the hotel and left voice messages until I finally got ahold of someone. They said that they will check and contact me back. I received an email stating that the safe (which I NEVER used or touched) was “broken” and that is why I am being charged the extra $172. I had to follow up multiple times before getting an answer. Both managers Wilmer and David were extremely dismissive, told me there was nothing they could do, will not return my money and to contact another hotline. I was extremely upset and frustrated that a reputable hotel can have the audacity to LIE, CHEAT, and steal (my money). stay away from this hotel!

It was friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily, our beds was crisp and clean.
There was 2 adults and 2 children but we only ever got 3 sets of towels, I told them constantly even housekeeping.
Other than that everything was good. Every evening at 17.00hrs there was freshly baked cookies, this was a nice touch. The breakfast staff was very friendly and Yvette was just how you would expect a New Yorker, her accent was gorgeous. She was so good with the children to, she was off Thursday and Friday so we couldn't say thank you and good bye.

Room was at the back of the hotel so was very very peaceful. Maid was amazing. Clean rooms, large bed, wet room. Breakfast was good, waffles, cereals, hot breakfast, all Buffett. Reception staff so helpful and friendly. Always happy to give you info or tips on NY. Would stay again. Had a reserve on credit card but no resort fees, paid booking as a package with BA. Lots of local shops and walking distance to most sight seeing attractions. Subway close by.

I was here with a group during March 6 through the 12th.
The staff were always nice. The cleaning crew did an awesome job! The guy that came up to give me a blanket was really sweet and nice! Whoever you are, you are amazing! I appreciate you! The staff always had cookies upfront for everyone… I never expected that. But it was so sweet! I would definitely recommend this hotel! This was my first time in New York and I'm glad my boss Jeremiah picked this hotel! It was close to Time's Square and it was great! You guys are amazing!

Very good hotel in Times Square. Affordable prices for the area. Close of everything (Subway, Times Square, 7/11 and Restaurants). The breakfast is included and was amazing (s/o at the mid-orient guy working there, he was super nice). Never saw an hotel with such nice staff. The room were clean and confortable. The hotel was quiet. Free Wi-Fi also. One issue: there are only two elevators for the whole hotel. On busy time (morning/diner) you will need to wait few minutes to get the elevator (no big deal) I would highly recommend that hotel. Whether you have a family or you are solo travelling, you will love it.

I had their 5 cheese grilled cheese with waffle fries and it was so good! Their Late night bar food and beer specials are really good. I love coming here because their beer is always so good and they really support SD local breweries. They have an upstairs area with an old Nintendo set, darts, and pool. It's got a cozy house party feel but not fratty at all. Every time I've come here the bartenders and servers were friendly and fast. Good place to hang with friends and awesome weekly specials.

5-star strategic location to visit all of Midtown on foot! Impeccable service and great hotel cleanliness. The only weak point is the size of the rooms that can be slightly claustrophobic and where unnecessary movements are practically not allowed!

Reasonable price. Good location. Good breakfast. I found out that why here was so crowded. But be careful about window especially for kids. No lock. It was opened and looked very dangerous.

I'm never staying here again. The room was small and the high floor city view is a complete rip off as the only sights is another tall building next to it. To make things worse they only have two elevators in a 30 floor hotel and when I was there one of the elevators was working and the other was not functioning. There was long lines for the elevator and always crammed. To top it all off, on my last night there, there was flies in my shower. This hotel is hot garbage and if you are appealed by how cheap it is, it is cheap for a reason. It is the literal the worst Hilton I've stayed in my life and I use to travel and stay in Hilton's so I have been to at least 10+ different Hilton's. Stay away.

The Hotel itself is normal. The rooms are small and breakfast is below average. The best thing about the Hotel are the night desk people. James and Clarence are amazing. They both knew our names after the first night. They both went out of their way to meet our needs and special requests. I would go back to the Hotel just because of them. They need recognition and a raise. Thanks James and Clarence. Great trip thanks to you.

Reasonable price for the location of this hotel, near Times Square and subway stations. The rooms are tiny, even the double beds. Even the hallways and the elevator are small. The breakfast is included and delicious! They have always a little station with hot tea, coffee and cocoa. Unfortunately my room wasn't really clean, specially the restroom. The worst part if that between one bed and the restroom the carpet was dirty and wet and I soaked my sock, it was disgusting. The room also have a smell. The people in the reception is willing to help you with a smile but overall not very friendly. I didn't receive any welcome when I arrived, but thanks God I did everything through the Hilton app. I read that a lot of people have issues with check in or check out.

If you can have the worst possible experience ever at any hotel, this is where you should go! My parents who’re not US residents and not credit card holders, were booked at this hotel by their tour and had a night’s stay which was nothing less than a nightmare. They’re tired after a long flight and all they wanted was to spend their pre-booked room and take next morning flight. But instead they’re denied check in into the hotel since they did not have a credit card. They offered cash, I offered my credit card detail over the phone but no, my almost 60yo elderly parents were made to sit in their filthy chairs till 9pm instead of an entry into their already booked room. Only after my husband’s uncle presented a card who reached there around 9pm all the way traveling for 2 hrs, they’re allowed to enter the room which was nothing more than a filthy room with dirty carpet and barely minimum walking space! We recently stayed at a small hotel at a near by small city and the room was totally the other way around and way beyond the standards of this room. I could never imagine that a hotel can discriminate against elderly international visitors who don’t have credit cards and offering their ids, cash, I offering mine over the phone. And the front desk people were so rude in even talking over the phone that I could imagine the plight of my parents. Even their tour manager talked to them but the front desk people were so rude and impolite!

Great location by times square. Small rooms if you have 2 double beds you will have to squeeze past each other to get around. Breakfast is pretty good, but it may be had to find seating during busy hours. There is only 2 elevators and there was quite a wait for them during peak hours.

My queen room was large, it has a pull out sofa. I am in room 601, which seems to look out over the side street. Rates are very expensive everywhere in Times Square, I suggest making a reservation before they start filling up. I was slammed with $139 and it was $170+ after tax. Not worth it but sometimes the rates are up to $250! This room is deftly worth under $100. If you go to New York for a festival book in advance. Bathroom is small, refrigerator is weak and small with no freezer, flat screen TV is large with dish, desk and chair is fair, several outlets, Neutrogena amenities. Breakfast has loads of bananas, eggs, waffles, bacon, cereal, bread, oatmeal, pancake maker. Outside: Everything is in walking distance, in a very crowded area much more so than I ever imagined was possible. I am from the west. To me it is kinda like an extreemly crowded las vegas strip area. Seen everything from lady liberty on stilts to fully naked people with only paint on. Amazingly it seems safe tho I do not know how, in some places there are too many people to get by — this is one of the areas.

We had far superior experiences at the city’s Marriott Fairfield Inns (and better breakfasts). Update: After several emails with Hilton HQ, I eventually called the front desk manager and reached him. He said he never got my message to get a call back. After a lengthy conversation, he was highly apologetic and said he was looking into all these issues and did comp me my room.

Nice place, small but your in New York you not there to stay in the Hotel. Friendly people, good breakfast. Elevator is slow so in the morning get going!

A very good option for those with a budget. Rooms are small but with only two persons. Also one more location or men's central with a metro station about 5 blocks (from the small squares).

What I expected from a Hilton brand… clean and comfortable and affordable. This was a great location, close to Times Square and the train station. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was small but it was clean and tidy. Hotel staff were very friendly. Only problems I had was that the toilet didn't flush one day (it was quickly resolved) and the elevators take forever to get to your floor. It was sometimes much quicker to use the stairs but not so easy when your 12 stories up. Overall great experience. Would stay again.

Top Hotel. Very good location, (3min from the 1st Metro and 7 min from Times Square) cleanliness of the room nothing to say, very good bedding, PTI Dej unpretentious and personal listening. Just ask for a room that does not give on the street… fire siren, garbage truck and building in front works. We changed rooms for the 2nd night and impek. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Currently staying here. Although, the price I paid was extremely reasonable I am not satisfied with this hotel. I've never really had an issue with any Hilton Hotel, especially being a Silver member. The comforter looks very dingy, the rooms are Extremely small; basically enough space to turn around, majority of the hotel rooms are currently rented out to some school so its been multiple kids running in the hallway and screaming, the walls are paper thin to the point you can hear where the person in the room next to you is taking a shower. This is my very first time in NY, and I was looking for a more pleasurable experience. I'm seriously skeptical of trying the breakfast in the morning.

The staff are extremely helpful an friendly. That along with the breakfast would garner five stars, BUT the elevator is loud and the rooms are… cozy, I think that's the trade word they'd use. I'd say a tight fit, literally speaking as I had to shower standing sideways. Would only stay again in a pinch.

Very good price, good location, very comfortable beds, beautiful view from the 32 floor. Many plugs in the rooms (11 110v and 8 USB! ). And the classic breakfast included from the Hamptons that always comes in well before going out for a walk in NY.

Good hotel. Good service. Breakfast is spotless and everything is well-kept. I don't give it 5 stars because I was charged for getting in early without notifying me of the extra charge. Very bad of the girl of the counter. The room and the bathrooms are clean and well-equipped. Free breakfast is an excellent plus.

We were from the 15th to the 20th of November 2012 at this hotel. I thought it was worse located, but you're actually a walk from Times Square (5 min), just 3 blocks from the 42st (theatres and Movida) … and for what is used the hotel in New York (drop down after a day of intense walking) This hotel is more than fine. For Spanish speakers who do not have English to the order of the day no problem, most of the hotel workers are Latin American (from Puerto Ricans to Colombians), so kindly serve you in Castilian if you ask. Free breakfast I only have words of praise. They have a part of the hot breakfast (tortillas, sausages…) and a typical one with muffins, waffles, bread, fruit, cereals… To be free it is very very good. Sure if I go back to New York I go back to Hampton Inn Manhattan/Times Square South Useful.

Excellent and lovely staff; close to Times Square Great hotel for traveling to New York City on a budget. Very good breakfast option; Eat breakfast early or 30 minutos about to close to avoid the rush. Very clean, great hot shower, a lots of towels. I would say PAOLA IS THE BEST she is friendly and ready to help us with anything. Me and my family certainly will stay again.

Very clean, very friendly staff. Room was small but very comfortable. Hotel is centrally located making sightseeing and getting around very easy. Valet was a little pricey, there are a lot of garages in the vicinity that offer 24hr parking for less, but if you don't want to stress finding a spot or carrying luggage just hand you keys over at the front desk and pay a little extra. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay at this property again.

Great place for sightseeing in NYC, central location everything within walking distance, stayed before would come back again. Great breakfast included in the price free tea and coffee and use of computers and Wi-Fi. All in all a great little hotel does what it says. NA H-Alba.

For the price, the location was ideal. It was maybe a 10 min walk to Times Square. The employees were all very nice — including the cleaning staff! The only complaint is that in the morning it took forever to catch the elevator — but I guess that's just New York.

The room was small but clean. Had all necessities, but no room outside that. It was relatively quiet — only some noise from the hall — and turning the AC on (it was winter but the room was hot) drowned it all out. They had free breakfast, but I didn't get to try it. I did grab a coffee (available 24 hours right past the elevator) and that was good. The people working the front desk were very nice! Overall a very pleasant stay. It was very expensive the days I needed the room for (all NYC rooms I could find available these dates were) and therefore knew it was overpriced for what I was getting, but would be a perfectly great room for what I noticed the "regular" rate to be. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel good area very nice hotel those who say the rooms are girls remember that this is New York and the hotels with large rooms are worth a fortune to pay and not desprestijiar nonsense.
Something very good do not charge the resort feet as they do most of the hotels dinosaurs in new York and another one more to please owns breakfast sure and someone the critical but it is good always considering product price a 10 ten to my understanding this hotel if you want something Eym or logically there are but you have to pay.

Not a bad hotel, but I'd say the worst out of all Hilton branded hotels I'd stay at. I've always heard space is at a premium in NYC, and that must be true. This is the smallest room I've ever stayed in. Every time I turned in the shower, my elbows hit the door and wall. Had to use toilet bowl and towel holder to hold amenities for my wife and I as there's not enough room on the sink. Tried to work last night but there was no lamp on the desk. I decided that was my clue to just head to bed and ask today. We booked a room with a king bed and I think the sheets are for a queen. They barely go side to side, and if someone rolls over in their sleep, the other person has no covers. At least the front desk has been great.

The guest services here are absolutely amazing! My mother is a professor, and was in New York with some of her students. It was her birthday, and Elizabeth and Peter with guest services and helped me from over 1000 miles away make sure that she had a special birthday! — thank you so much Elizabeth and Peter!

Decent hotel. Pretty typical for this location. Small rooms small bathroom. Not much space, overall a clean hotel. Nice location, my only problem was a few pieces of long hair on my covers. I only stayed 1 night. So can't judge to much.

Reservation made online and the company made an error. Concierge helped us so much and kept the last room on hold until we made it in. Amazing customer service. Comfortable beds, great breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.

It was a great stay… clean with a great accommodating staff. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The room was a little smaller than I'm used to and I would have liked a tub in addition to the shower but these are things I should have asked about before hand.

The room was nice, bed was very comfortable. The hotel overall very clean, however I was there with my bf and the hotel was very noisy with kids and the elevator was always congested and took forever. So good hotel but not for a romantic getaway.

Overall I had a relatively pleasant experience, but there were a few things that could have been better. Here's the breakdown — Good: nicely clean room, pleasant staff, and a wonderful breakfast. Bad: the ice machine was broken on my floor, so I was forced to go up a few floors to get ice. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but it was a bit annoying. The shower drain was also clogged, which caused water to accumulate when it was being used, which was somewhat unpleasant. Overall it was an okay experience, but would have been immensely better had those two issues been rectified.

Served its purpose. Clean, good service, provided us with a couple things we had forgotten. The breakfast was better than I would have at home, with a good variety of things to choose from.

Room was clean but wasnt ready by check-in. The breakfast wasnt available due to an accident of some kind but the hotel made other arrangements to make sure we still had a hot breakfast.

I loved it. Hampton Inn and The Hotel @ Times Square, are my favourite hotels in NY so far, both excellent: location, rooms and service. The Hampton is cheaper than the Hotel.
The reception is small but excellent care, has a water dispenser in the lobby, ideal to fill before going for a walk; room soooo comfortable, bigger than expected, with the street view Wi-Fi; Breakfast basic but very rich, every 3 days repeated the menu, I recommend go down to breakfast early because it is full, even though there were people who climbed the breakfast to your room, calls water bottles to your travel. It has Business Center in the basement.

This is Hells Kitchen, not Times Square South. Rooms are smaller than typical NYC hotel, with no workspace at all. Great price, decent location, convenient breakfast and friendly staff. Some of the fruit was still frozen and the coffee was not great.

It's a great hotel and very central to a lot of subway stops and attractions. Very impressed at how they can make such a small area feel so spacious. Their elevators are very slow and seem to never come. That's the only complaint. If you're on a high floor, good luck!

Everything about the hotel was acceptable except for the broken elevator. Thankfully, we were able to get a room on the 4th floor… So lugging our baggage and belongings up and down the stairs all weekend wasn't as traumatizing as it could have been. However, there was consistently a line of disgruntled guests waiting in the lobby for the one working elevator car all weekend. I chose this hotel in order to be close to Times Square (~10 minute walk depending on foot traffic density) and save a little money as compared to the hotels closer to time square. In retrospect, I should have just paid the extra $20 a night and stayed at a nicer hotel right in or adjacent to Times Square. Tip: $55 Per Day for Cars / $65 Per Day for SUV's to Valet (It is a third party service that handles the valet function, and you do not interact with these individuals, therefore was not presented an opportunity to tip my valet. )

Liked it until I got home and discovered bed bug bites all over me and my family. We have spent the greater part of two days washing everything in the hope that we do not become infested with bugs. Steer clear.

BUGS, BUGS, BUGS! Bugs in my bathroom. They did not take care of it and seemed unconcerned. Not sure which is worse. BUGS! Disgusting! If I have these bugs when I get home I am taking legal action. Also, my room was near ice machine. I was awakened by hotel restaurant employee at 5:30 AM, banging containers around. I went out and asked her to hold the noise. She seemed unconcerned and kept right on banging. Thank you, Hampton Inn. no thanks.

Great front desk service, Chris was super friendly fast and made sure everything was to our liking. The room was gorgeous, clean, neat, everything was laid out and easy to find. The bathrooms are super clean and so nice it was hard to leave lol. We asked for a room with a view of the city so naturally we were on the 27th floor. The elevators are super fast! It only took about 30 secs to get from our floor to the first floor! The hotel is really close to everything as well. Madison square garden is less than 15 mins away walking and Time Square is even closer. Not to mention there are clubs, bars, restaurants, banks and stores all within walking distance.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered with a hotel. I have Elite HHonors Gold status and I am employed by a major US airline as a Flight Crew member for the last 24 years. I've come across my fare share horrible customer service and absolute disregard for me as a customer but this Hilton property hit an all time low. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to passengers looking for a place to stay in Manhattan and WILL NEVER STEP FOOT inside this establishment ever again!

More love for Chris: He was awesome. Took the family (6 of us) into Manhattan for the first time in our 12 passenger van. We weren't your ordinary guests! Whoever runs this place knows how to find the best kind of people for their staff. From the moment we pulled up until the time we left we were very well taken care of. The staff was 100% courteous, totally helpful and behaved as if we had been there 100 times and we were friends. Chris (who was working the desk) chatted with us for a while and talked about the city and our trip and he was genuinely interested in talking with us. He gave out hotel business cards to the kids and told them that if, God forbid, they got separated from the family any policeman in the city could help them reunite with the family by giving them that hotel business card, which was a genius idea. He didn't have to do that, but it was a kind, genuine gesture that really helped those country kids to feel more secure in this beautiful maze of a city. From the valet to the front desk to the housekeeping staff we received nothing but kindness and smiles with exceptional service. And remember: that poor valet had to find a way to park a 12 passenger van in Midtown. They were amazing.

We arrived to the hotel before check — in time to see if we could leave a few things there so we could walk around the city. Chris at the front desk said there was a room ready and we got to check — in early which was great. Thanks Chris! You are awesome! The staff there is very friendly and polite. Great location. Would stay there again when visiting New York.

With my daughters Theater group rooms were clean, but VERY small. Breakfast was great.

The staff at the Hampton Inn Manhattan are awesome. Especially Chris at the front desk he is very nice and professional. He made are stay as comfortable as he possibly could. My sister and I were stranded at LaGuardia Airport during the time the plane sled off the runway and needed a place to stay we contacted Hampton Inn and was able to get a room the same day on March 5th 2015. Chris made us feel so welcome. However we did have one problem which my sister made management aware of and that was the rooms heating system the air would blow out cold then turn to hot and during that time it was very cold outside so that cold air blowing was not comfortable. Next visit we will make it during the summer months and perhaps it will be better in the room. But other than that the Hampton Inn is wonderful.

Good relation price vs quality in NEW YORK CITY.

Customer service is great! Breakfast is included and it is nutritious! Rooms are nice and clean but small (for the price). It gets very busy around breakfast time so elevator ride down from one of the top floors could take a while.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent! The breakfast is amazing, so much variety! Our room was clean and very comfortable! The location is close to Times Square. We want to thank especially Chris and Jennifer for assisting us for all information we needed. The best is when we left the hotel, the bus terminal Port Authority is about 10 minutes away! :).

Spent a week in the period of February, all regular cleaning breakfast room wi fi never missed anything. The Council is within walking distance to time squere.

I stayed at this hotel a day ago only for a night and I had trouble checking in as I didn't have a credit card with me. I offered to pay the total amount + incidentals in advance but I got rejected by FD manager Ms. Elizabeth! They provide me with credit card authorization form so I phoned my husband and got my credit card info from him over the phone and gave the credit card authorization form to FD agent. This time FD manager asked for a copy of both side of credit card and reject to check me in! My husband didn't not have any copy machine or fax to send it! My cell phone was dead as I used it as gps driving from Boston to NY and each time to call my husband I had difficulty to make it work! so I had to go out of hotel and find a bank of America and deposit some cash in order to use my debit card to check in! finally at 5:40 pm I was able to check in! my day was gone wasted! It was really disappointing for me to see the FD manager to complicate a very easy task for a guest who is tired of trip and would like to check in and settle down in the room! She was not welcoming and caring at all. Christopher at the desk was really helpful and did his best to ease the processes. The room is small but very neat and clean and all staff in restaurant were very nice and helpful.

Rooms small. Mostly clean. My shower drain cover became dislodged to reveal some horrifying sludge. Who knows if those ever get cleaned? The elevators are inadequate to support the number of rooms and guests. I waited at least 15 minutes for an elevator to show up at the 31st floor, it was full by the time it descended to the 25th floor and stopped at every floor on the way down to find more people waiting. I waited a further 20 minutes for my car to be brought to me. So — decent value for the price and fairly clean but weak on services and facilities.
