Was well enjoyable my stay, the room, food and attention were fantastic.

A friend and her daughter came to visit me while I was there in 2018, they were followed from the time they entered the hotel until they got on the elevator. Later that evening we went down to the bar sat there for quite some time waiting for someone to take our order, not one person came as we watched them sever several white patrons. Last time I was there had this white drunk man with a dog try to force me to stay on the elevator and later as I was reporting him to the front desk he once again walked up on me with his dog, telling the front desk I was rude to him on the elevator. I called the next morning to report the incident to the front desk spoke with an idiot (several) but one by the name of Peter Carausone who told me the incident had nothing to do with the hotel it was between me and there guest, mind you a guest with a dog that they allowed to stay in the hotel. This idiot Peter is the one I spoke to when the two Black Women that came to this flea bag of a hotel was followed around by the Sheraton’s employee for no reason other than they were black. I will never stay or refer anyone to stay in that place. All you have to say is your dog is a service dog and they can stay in that hotel I am waiting to hear about a flea infestation in that place. Take you some cleaning supplies and your own sheets, better yet there are better places to stay then in that hole.

My wedding at The Sheraton was amazing! The food was great, the service was amazing and everyone there just went above and beyond anything I could’ve wanted. If you’re engaged, looking for a wedding venue etc. Make sure you go see Barbara Green at the Sheraton in Stamford. She was THE BEST. Even if you’re not engaged… any part or event… just go… you’d be crazy not to!

Everything. Here on a business conference. Great place to stay. Staff are very nice and helpful. Very clean and detail. Staff are very attentive to the guest need. Convenient location if you driving, close to the metro north. I would stay here in the future.

Great place to have an event at and hotel stay. The food was really good and the service was excellent.

Great place to take the family close to the mall close to the main strip for the restaurant service of the hotel makes you feel like friend of the family.

Very nice, clean surroundings with pleasant, professional staff as well where they validate your parking ticket too!

I care here for the Food and Wine Experience hosted by Pacific House Shelter of Stanford. This was a great location for the event and the hotel is very nicely maintained! I have never actually stayed in any of the rooms since I live right down the street, but if I ever have guests that need a hotel, I now know where I can recommend. The parking is okay (pretty small spaces and I think people park but overlap into the spot next to them because of it. ) The very high ceilings are so gorgeous and the sky lights are such a nice touch. I’m hoping to be back for another event or just for a drink :)

We've stayed there multiple times for this convention, probably close to ten times. Each and every time we have been there we have had some sort of issue. The reason its a five star review is that each and every time we have brought that concern to guest services, they have fixed it.
One year it was a noisy party, they moved our room; one time it was a need for an early check in, they upgraded us to make it happen; this weekend our room was accidentally missed by housekeeping, they immediately got us fresh towels and got housekeeping up as soon as possible. These guys are amazing at resolving issues.
When I travel, I don't look for everything to be perfect every single time. I look for hotels that react well when the unexpected happens and makes it right. These guys do that and that is why I go back and will continue to go back.

Rooms are a bit tired. In room AC's are loud. Service is great, staff is very attentive and pleasant. Good breakfast.

Nice staff and great atmosphere. The bar is right in the lobby and has a classy feel. They even have board games to play with your group. The halls and meeting places are very well kept, I have been to many functions here.

Great place for a business meeting. Nice and private lobby conversation areas to meet with people. Excellent staff and comfortable bar.

It was clean, friendly and a decent location. Trouble with room key each day, any time it was in the vicinity of a magnet we had to get a new room key. We were there for 3 days and each day we needed a new room key. The pool wasn't very large. The bed was very high but very comfortable. The bath room was very small but supplied everything we needed. The room service was a bit expensive but VERY delicious.

Was here for a wedding. Clean, professional. Well-furnished, friendly. Spacious lounge and bar area. Close to a mall. Zero complaints.

Great food. Starbucks in the lobby. Separate bar and restaurant. Huge place, our room was small, but we had two queen beds and two kids with us. Staff is great. Room service has anything from the restaurant. Every time I called for something, someone picked up right away. I have stayed in a lot if hotels and I never had such a good experience.

Stopped in for a bite at the Sheraton restaurant and was served by Brian, a fantastic young man. If there were any omissions with our meal, he would instantly make it right. The entire staff are friendly and will go out of there way to assist you with whatever you need. The Sheraton in Stamford Ct is an excellent place to stay.

Nice, clean place… I didn't enjoy the shower set up, too modern, not enough shower pressure. Small suggestion, would be to improve the in room menu. The current copy is too light and difficult to read. All in all a nice place, and I would stay again.

Amazing hotel. Very clean and spacious. Really liked the fact that they had a shuttle, which drove around a 5 mile radius. I highly recommend this hotel.

The worst Sheraton I have stayed at. If I could give them half a star I would. The following are the reasons why: Customer service — don’t expect to be greeted upon check in or check out. Just be ready for blank stares to look at you until you say “hello” first because they’re too busy on their phones. Cleanliness-not really much to say except when I woke up there were ants.

Nice looking hotel with fairly recent decor updates. The curtains shut out the light effectively. Easy parking facility. Very loud room heater/AC unit; I was not the only person at the event who commented on how loud the HVAC in their room was. Thin doors — — you can hear everything in the hallway and bypassers can hear what's being said or TV in your room. Walls are not as thin as the doors, but it's not as quiet as I'd expected.

The service was very good.

Had a great long weekend here. Hotel is nice. Amazing baked Mac and cheese! The bar staff really set it apart from other hotels I've stayed! They're great, friendly, personable, and just fun to be around!

Love this hotel. If you get breakfast, make sure you see Ken! He is seriously the best! Roxy and Moe are great bartenders as well! I usually don't talk to anyone when I go to hotels but these guys make the hotel seriously feel like home! Thank you.

Very helpful, friendly staff. I've stayed here a few times over the last year or so and had drastically different quality of rooms. I'm not sure if they are remodeling / upgrading but they seem to be better each time.

The hotel is older but we'll maintained and the rooms are well kept up. In fact the rooms are fairly nicer than the other hotels in the same area. My complaints are that while the bar food is good, it's expensive compared to local restaurants and other hotel bars. So you'll have to budget aggressively or plan on going out. Props for having a clean gym but it's small and can get cramped very quickly. Overall this is good choice and if my primary choice isn't available I have no issues staying here.

Nice room with a view. Contains bar and restaurant in building. Service desk is a huge help and nightly shuttle runs until 10:30 making it easy to get to nearby attractions.

Been here twice or thrice, and love it everytime. I have reason to believe that the staff here are well trained. I have been given sufficient information every time I inquired and the service is within price range. I highly recommend this place.

Pleasant staff, great amenities and food and always a nice stay. Most comfortable beds of all the hotels I've visited in the local area. Super convenient location within walking distance of Stamford Town Center mall, downtown restaurants and shops and train station.

Stayed for 1 night, the room was lovely. Went to the bar and the bartender was serving tables when people were waiting for drinks, we waited about 16 mins to get served. Ordered food which was below average, Fish and Chips… the batter was burnt, fries cold, also ordered short rib sliders, steak was tough and the crispy onions were over done. The heating system wasnt working the room was cold and the coffee machine wasnt working! No I would’nt stay again!

Good hotel, room was fine. Service was slightly poor though. We ran out of toilet paper and called the front desk to ask for some more and it took over an hour for two rolls of toilet paper to be sent to our room. However, there were several events taking place at the hotel at the time and the staff were probably very busy and overwhelmed. Apart from that, my stay was great and I'd definitely come again.

Very nice. Comfy beds! We are here for a youth soccer tournament and they are VERY nice about the kids being a little crazy. The multi floor man hunt game was no big deal which was a big relief to parents. They were good, but some places would make a big deal. Biggest issues were bar was abnormally expensive for beer. You’re better off getting a strong mixed drink. And the parking is discounted but not free. Other than that, I was happy with the stay.

The beds are like heaven. Oh yeah, nice hotel too. You do have to pay for parking, but that should not come as a surprise being a stones throw from NYC. Actually, the room-service breakfast is quite delicious too.

Beautiful room. Updated and very classy. Fast room service with great food. Warm indoor pool not crowded at all. Has a decent gym right by pool area. A nice bar and conference area. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend.

If you are looking for a good hotel to stay in, look no further. From the great staff, to the awesome bartenders and dinning staff, to the great atmosphere of this great hotel. Not to mention the Incredible food! This Sheraton hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The food alone and great service is enough for me to visit again from a 4 hr drive away, just to experience it all again.

Went away for the weekend. Stayed the night before at a Comfort Inn in Hartford. Reasonable price, King bed, mini fridge, internet, free parking, breakfast included. Sheraton Stamford was pricey and came with all the same things except you had to order breakfast and pay if you wanted it and they charged $12 to park! I can never understand why expensive brand hotels offer less for more price. We wouldn't stay here again. It just doesn't offer enough for what you pay. And the $12 parking is a joke.

Lobby was nice, staff was polite but as the room wow awe full bathroom door was almost impossible to open toilet and tub backed up no microwave for a Sheraton was not very impressed should of stayed at a motel 6 would of been the same and half the money.

On a 10 day trip, this hotel was one of the best and a great price. Rooms are big and very clean. Beds were amazing, BIG and comfy. Me and family had the best sleep ever. Got an extra roll away bed for my son and it was a comfy twin. He loved it. If you looking for breakfast and not in a rush, drive up the road to New Rochelle Diner in Ny. Best breakfast ever!

Great stay in Stamford. Shuttles to most of the major businesses around. Convenient parking deck. Great breakfast.

The location is great, just a couple blocks from the shopping centre. The hotel looked very nice, upscale. The lobby was very clean and neat. The room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable! They have complimentary starbucks coffee you can make in your room, and water. The restaraunt inside the hotel is good as well. The quesadillas were great and the chicken fingers as well. The breakfast buffet was great, you can order your omelette any way you like. It does cost you though for the buffet. No complimentary breakfast here. Overall a great experience for my first time in Connecticut.

Attended Daymond John's business Academy seminar. Lower level meeting rooms were simple but nice. The only odd feature was all the structural columns in the room, that made it hard to see the speaker from some areas. One nice factor was that we were able to sit in the lobby / lounge area for some informal networking. The hotel did not seem to mind, despite not being hotel guests.

Attended a Passover Seder here. Staff was courteous and friendly. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for any kind of event.

Beauty pageant being held, attended event. The hotel staff was nice and forward friendly. The room keys in the hotel are horrendous. The room key constantly deactivated on you and they blame your personal cell phone. In this regard the hotel was bad, they should have looked into why everyone staying, there room keys were randomly being deactivate and should of called some kind of maintence department to resolve mine and most people at the hotel's issue. Putting that aside, it was clean, well maintained building. The rooms were clean, the maid service did a great and through job cleaning the rooms. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant so I can't give that a review. Stanford, Connecticut is a beautiful city, lots of restaurants and a Mall in walking distance. The mall that's in walking distance has most stores, one would want. And it's a great committing city, being close to Manhattan, NY, White Plains, NY and New Haven, CT. Hotel lobby was pretty and the hotel staff was genuine happy to work there (at least it appeared that way). In that respect there attentive and solved most the issues and things, I need for my Friday to Monday stay. Room key situation very annoying and required unnessary trips to the front desk for a new re-activated key. In the spirit of this review, to make it more useful to someone reading this, and make this part of there decision to stay at this location, I am going to focus on the rest of my stay.

20.00 for breakfast buffet is way out of hand. Specially if nothing is special just eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits. Very nice people but way overpriced.

Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sheraton allowed 2 well behaved dogs per room with no deposit, etc. Our dogs loved it too. The other guests at the hotel loved our dogs. It was a really nice experience. And it was a great valentine's day for us so thank you!

Amazing people in engineering. Had a problem with a switch fixed it fast and had loads of smiles. Special thanks to the head guy Joe and his guy Bob. Will stay here anytime I am in town.

This hotel is one of the best in Stamford. Great service, nice rooms, good Wi-Fi and comfortable beds. Food isn't great but it's walking distance to tons of great restaurants.

Front staff were pleasant. But every other hotel employee were miserable. The restaurant were by far the most miserable people I have every meet. Not may favorite hotel.

I stayed for one evening en route to Massachusetts. Check in was quick and easy, and the receptionist went through the trouble of double checking to make sure my request for hypoallergenic bedding had been filled. The unfortunate part of which came to be when I found that my "hypoallergenic" bedding was a rough blanket that felt like sandpaper. The room was very large and had a huge bed. The bathroom was clean and modern, though is lacking a bathtub. A little disappointing for someone who has spent all day in a car and would have loved a bath. The room was very quiet, though the hotel didn't seem to be too full. Self parking in attached garage was $10 per night with free in and out for guests, which was great as I ventured over to the mall to find some dinner. All in all a decent stay.

A very good hotel for business travellers but decent enough for casual personal travel as well. The food is good but expensive. A dinner for 1 adult and 2 children cost 90bucks.

I was there for the Connecticut Salsa Festival on Memorial Day Weekend and had the pleasure of staying at this Marriott hotel. Excellent hospitality and excellent service. Check in was a breeze even with a full lobby. The staff was super courteous and very professional and the facilities are top notch. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future :).
