Walking distance to local restaurants and entertainment. Great location.

The hotel is very nice and there is a restaurant in house. But best part is this is the only hotel in Stamford that doesn’t charge for parking. As a business traveler I have a budget and an additional charge for parking is frowned upon.

Honestly, these people are racially biased. Literally you can sense the hate from the guy at the front desk (Hispanic man) I don't recommend booking a reservation if you're black (African American) I dont even feel comfortable leaving my room for a smoke break. Literally the guy who would call the cops if your smoking a black and mild (a cigar) why is my job paying this much money for me to stay here, I feel like they are definitely being cheated. Also I have videos and audio of all my interactions. I will be posting this next on social media, especially worldstar so you guys can go viral since you obviously don't care🤙

Have never been so mistreated at any hotel let alone a Hilton property. The front desk was lazy and disrespectful. He refused to hand me the room key after my digital key wouldn’t work. Slammed it on the counter and said he wouldn’t hand it to me. I had to get it myself. Wasn’t greeted upon arrival. Wasn’t given my silver card free waters, certainly wasn’t treated with any respect. The hotel is falling apart and the customer service is 1 Star. Should have kept driving!

I have to give 5 stars why we love everything about this hotel so clean staff is very nice beds sheets so clean room smells amazingly good …

Very nice place and the staff were really nice. The highly rated Italian restaurant was mediocre at best but their happy hour wasn't bad.

Good location. Free breakfast makes all the difference for me. Could probably use some renovations, but overall is a good hotel to stay at.

Excellent hotel. Right off 95 bout 1 mile. We needed a quick overnight stop and this was perfect. Very clean. Great breakfast. Comfy beds. Just what we needed.

I was set in a smoking room at first. I told them I couldn't stay in that room due to allergies. I was moved to another room within half hour. I am kind of disappointed that I was not informed of the type of room. I had to threaten to leave to be given a different room. From that point on, everything was superb. Parking and Breakfast were important to me when choosing this hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

It's ok for just a quick stay passing through. Everything was clean, and staff is friendly. The hotel is quite dated. The first thing I noticed is the small parking area. Unless you drive a small car parking will be a challenge here. If you don't find a space on one floor, you'll have to back out hoping no one pulls in behind you, then turn up a different path to get to the next parking floor. Our door dead bolt didn't work. The bathroom was very dated, the toilet didn't flush well, the water pressure is not great, and the shower drained so slow that after a couple minutes you were standing in a pond. We won't be staying here again. I feel the price is a bit high for the accommodations. We usually love Hampton Inn, but this one not so much.

The hotel staff was great. My room, however, was very dated. Especially The bathroom. The shower looked like it had been grouted by a 2 year old and the floor was slimy when I stepped in it. It generally seemed unclean. My room had a whirpool. Based on the condition shower, I opted not to use it. The rest of the room was fine.

Place was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful price was a little high.

Never dissapointed with Hampton Inn, but sometimes I am pleasantly surprised like last night. Room layout was very different which was awesome. Large room with king bed and lots of space. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Parking onsite.

The room was spacious and we had a nice view of the city. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. However, I wish they had a water fountain or a jug with water. Also, when I took a shower the water didn't go down so they need to clean that system. Lastly I wish they had more options for breakfast. I don't eat pork and that was the only meat option and vegetarian options.

Hotel is at good location. Staff can be more friendly and courteous. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is standard Hilton menu. Overall an above average hotel.

Bias & Horribal experience came all the way to the inn an could not get a room felt uncomfortable the whole time the manager Juan was very unhelpful and extremely lack luster& not welcoming at all in reguards to the situation.

Enjoyed two nights here. It was close to activities and was quieter than many other hotels I've stayed in over the years, although the doors are quite loud when they close. Good breakfast choices. If book here again.

First time I've stayed in a Hampton inn that was in an old hotel — very cool. Also had a first rate Italian restaurant next door.

Facilities were clean and modern but it was hard to get a good night's sleep — they checked us into the wrong room and then called 40 minutes later ~10pm as well as knocked on the door to ask us if we were checked in, though allowed us to stay in the wrong room. Then housekeeping knocked at 9am and 1030. Water pressure in the shower was mediocre at best. Not sure I'd stay again.

Ya know… I was accustomed to staying at the Hilton Executive in Stamford, but new hires made hospitality fall on its face. This place is now better, great family restaurant sets it apart… however, the “honors” breakfast at both hotel locations are lacking, as if the lowest bidder won the auction of service… really bad breakfast. But gets the job done much like oatmeal or porridge.

1st visit. Very comfortable room and very quiet. Morning breakfast was great as well. Went out in the a. M. Venturing the area. Returned at 3pm to find room had not been serviced yet. Overall had an excellent stay and will return.

Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was helpful in helping us get around Stamford. Plus there was free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby.

Hotel is nice, restaurant has good pizza and looks like many other things not a new hotel has some aged.

The staff at the Hampton Inn & Suites Stamford deserves 6-stars out of five; they are accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly beyond belief. That being said, it should be a corporate policy that the staff eat in a staff lounge, not the guest dining room. It is frustrating to know I paid a premium for the amenity of the guest dining room and they're lounging and chatting for free. The breakfast offerings were standard continental fare — not impressive, but not horrible. Now, the downsides. While the hotel was clean, it was dated. There's no getting around that there are updates needed beyond the new carpets that have been installed. Tiles need replacement, the walls could use re-papering or paint and in general, the decor could use a face lift. When my fiance joined me in the room, after parking the car in the adjacent off-site lot, his first comment on the room was, "Reminds me of The Stanley. " Unfortunately, he wasn't referring to the grandeur of the acclaimed Colorado hotel, but instead the creepiness of it's reputation for being the set of The Shining. The King Suite we stayed in was spacious, but the awkward layout, dated light and window treatments, and obvious signs of wear on surfaces and appliances left a lot to be desired. With so many hotels in the area (with better rates), it is unlikely I will stay at this property again.

Big free parking, Easy checking, nice big room, free breakfast, and only 40min drive to NYC.

Check in was simple. The rooms are very nice. The rooms includes a refrigerator and microwave, but the refrigerator wasn't on at first. I had to twist the knob and it fell off, so I had to twist the metal behind the knob. It then worked, which was enough to chill my leftovers. There's a large vanity outside of the bathroom/shower which is nice. The showerhead is coming off the wall, but works fine and water pressure is fine. All in all very nice room.

The room was nice and clean, smell nice when we came into the room, comfortable and clean beds. We stayed for one night only but we'll go back again if we have another opportunity. The reason I don't give 5 stars is a small problem… the air conditioner made too much noise throughout the night, other than that we had a good experience.

My second time staying, and just as good as before. Everything seemed in order for a hotel of this class. I like the very close by parking​ garage — easy walk without needing to valet. Breakfast was decent, and plenty of bacon. Only complaint I can think of is that I wish they had proper glasses for drinking instead of paper cups.

Really nice, well-appointed clean room. Traditionally decorated and comfortable with a beautiful English garden with ivy on the walls out back. Typical Hampton food, which has steadily been going downhill for years, they're all like this, not just this hotel.

Came here during a snowstorm. Had a very nice woman at front desk who couldn't have been more helpful. We got a large clean room, lobby was also clean and workers were cleaning up after snowprints. We had looked forward to eating at the inhouse restaurant Villa Italia, but it was not open. We ordered out for dinner and enjoyed our pizza. Would have loved a beer or glass of wine but not available due to the restaurant being closed. Hallway freezing!

Great location, clean, updated decor. Only negative was trying to find a parking spot in the garage.

The rooms were very nice and the beds super comfortable. The rooms lacked any kind of A/C even though ours was set to 52° the rooms was still too humid and warm for my tastes. That and one of our windows had no screen or stopper to prevent the window from opening to wide. Kind of unsafe if you ask me. The reception area was very nice and all the employees I interacted with were very nice and professional. I would highly consider this hotel if you are looking to stay in Stamford.

Your staff has been great this stay for me. The basket left by the cleaning staff while I was working was a nice touch, but the best aspect is your shuttle driver. This morning we chatted about how I don't get coffee when I'm working at the client's office. Tonight when he picked me up he had a cup of coffee for me. So thoughtful and such personalized service! Keep him on staff, he's amazing!

Here at 12:24am to try and book a room. Attempted to call from front lobby and vocally call "hello" to find someone at front desk. Door was propped open to office while blaring club music came through hallway. What is this, a frat house staffed by 16 yr old's? Lost a willing guest before they could even be greeted by a lack of staff.

The front desk person as HIGHLY unprofessional and unapologetic. We stayed for 4 nights. On our last night we were stopped at the front desk and accused of having a pet in our room. Instead of the front desk person asking my wife "Ma'am do you have a pet in your room" or something in that manner inquiring he instead stated "What is up with the dog in your room? " When told they had no dog and fly in from Colorado. " He made no effort to apologize and reminded that no pets are allowed. WE HAVE NO PETS! When called and spoken to with on the phone HE STILL refused to apologize for your WRONG accusation. You would think that by spending over $700 to stay there, he would admit he is wrong and apologize. We will not be staying her EVER again.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was as expected. The room was clean and well appointed. No issues with room service or checking in. I highly recommend the place.

Attended a meeting at the hotel. As always the staff was friendly and inviting. The food at Villa Italia is very good and the desk staff is always willing to help with anything that comes up.

Had two good stays at this location. Older property but convenient enough for a short car trip downtown and to the highway. Staff was pleasant.

Convenient location. Overlooking a park with pleasant views if you're on that side of the hotel. Clean, well appointed rooms and comfortable beds. Nice staff. Decent complimentary breakfast.

Most unprofessional management team I've ever dealt with. Our billing is a mess and the GM is hiding from us to attempt to resolve the matter. If your a Senior Citizen beware! They will charge your credit card AFTER you check out with no explanation whatsoever! No receipt listing new charges were ever offered or sent to us. Hilton is no help either! Don't stay here!

Stayed here a few nights ago and had a wonderful experience. Had to change hotel locations temporarily for work, but decided to come back here because it was absolutely the best value. The quality of this hotel for what you pay is outstanding. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are in excellent condition (clean and well maintained), and the amenities they offer are perfect for what I needed. A fridge and microwave in the room, free breakfast (with awesome selections), and a coin-operated laundry were all available! I definitely recommend this hotel!

I really like this hotel, the staff is friendly and very helpful, the rooms are kept in great condition and clean. The climate control actually works unlike most hotels where you can't keep it from getting too cold or too hot. Bed is very comfortable and didn't get muggy at night. Also there is a great italian restaurant attached to the hotel, excellent food there.

I have stood at better hampton inns but it was a ok experience. Over all I would stay there again.

Had a very nice time at this hotel. My family really enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms were very nice and well kept. Very beautiful and scenic area around the hotel. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in this area and needs a hotel.

Only real grip is they don't have Fox News Channel. They have all of the other major Cable news channels except Fox News.

Was there for a weekend had a family reunion I had some problems in the room they right a way gave me a other room a mini suite excellent service would definitely recommend.
