I booked my room in advance. Was booked to get smoking and 2 kings for 3 nights. When I arrived they had me down for non smoking. I informed them that is not what I booked. Was told nothing they could do. Why have them on expedia, etc if they can't even get the booking right. They need to go back to school for hearing and writing glasses.

It isn't a luxury hotel with a master bath, but it's a place to stay for a few days if need be. Prices are pretty high but if you sign up on their website the deals are pretty good. They serve a free breakfast but I've never tried it. Average all around but better than most in the area.

The building is dated, looked like the main entrance had a fire at one point… the breakfast was ok.
My room was ok, bed was comfy, bathroom ok. The walls had bubbles in them from water damage, heavy smoke smell stained the room! Wasn’t aware when booking the the rail road is less than 500ft from the motel… woke-up around 10pm to a train coming though…
I would think twice before staying here again.

We had planned to stay in this hotel for a night last week but we were very disappointed. Looking at these reviews I am shocked anyone would have rated this hotel at this point anything more than a 1 or 2. It is presently under construction and the construction workers themselves are living in the hotel. Very unsavory types were noted to be walking around. People were grilling outside their rooms as if they had been living there for some time and a great deal of profanity was heard. Walked into the room and was surprised to see someone was sleeping in the bed and there were two dogs in the room. They never even got up. Reports of thefts and bed bugs on expedia and neighborhood children swimming in the pool fully clothed. They were nice enough to give us a full refund but would have not stayed even if they had not. The hotel needs to be closed and completely renovated before taking on new customers and the rooms were surely not worth 119.00 a night! More like 50. I'm not sure if Quality Inn realizes it has it's name on this hotel as well as choice hotels.

Nice, clean hotel. They're currently renovating, so there was a bit of a mess outside. But, the rooms are nice and clean. Also, the free breakfast is great. They have a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, and a bunch of other items to choose from.

The person at the desk greeted me and check-in was quick. He gave me a small gift for being a Choice preferred member. This was a kind gesture. On arrival it was 90 plus degrees outside, it was nice to come into a cool room. The room was facing the pool, it was clean.

So it seems like this place is a hit or a miss when it comes to which rooms you get. I only stayed here one day and the room I got was very nice. It was clean, the sheets were nice, it almost looked newely renovated because the washroom looked new. There were plenty of new towels as well. The owner (I think it's the South Asian person) was exceptionally nice and professional. The other workers were alright but not amazing. Note that they always check ID before using a credit card so be mindful of using a parents credit card without them being there. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. Oh and don't forget free Wi-Fi and breakfast.

My family and I reserved two rooms for a family getaway and when we got here the place was horrible, it’s nothing like the pictures online. The first room we entered had brown stains on the sheets and it smelled like pure cigar, the second room was horrible, there was a fly flying around, then we had stains all over the pillows and the sheets, and it smelled like pure cigarettes. We didn’t last not even 10 minutes before we decided to leave and ask for a refund. I don’t recommend this place to anybody unless it’s an emergency or it’s urgent but this place is gross. The workers are not professional either, I’m just being honest.

A work in progress. I give them props for all the new owner is trying to accomplish. Give it a try, but understand he is working to make it better.

What a nasty looking hotel, we pulled in and pulled right out. Went down the street to a MUCH cleaner hotel. Don't let the web fool you like it did us.

It is old. But the new owner is really trying to make it better. But a huge mess right now. Friendly people at the front desk.

One star is too much for this place. The appearance of this place is disgusting looks like it been through a hurricane. The bathroom smelled like mold and it was beyond gross. The room was unclean and I felt uncomfortable. The sheets had multiple stains that were not washed correctly. They charge way to much for the apearance and cleanliness of the place. The breakfast food was not appetizing at all. When I checked out I told the front desk and she did not seem to care at all. Still waiting for my invoice to be emailed. Most likely will never recieve it! Never going here again and do not recommend this place to anyone!

Great hotel and location to lay your head down for a night or two. Great rooms for a venue.

Yelp review for Quality Inn Pottstown 24 minutes ago 1.0 star rating 3/7/2018 My husband, my Mom (77), and I, had to stay her for four nights recently. We had a big snow storm that knocked our power, toilets, and heat out, and we called over 30 places in the area… all booked. We have two cats, so we had to find a "Pet friendly" room, as it was freezing and we couldn't leave them home… PECO said "No power for six days" We got there mid afternoon, and there were a bunch of people in pajamas smoking and yelling outside our room and on the pathway in general. They remained there the whole time we unpacked our car and a while after. The interior was decent enough… clean shower, okay beds, microwave, mini fridge, but the outside was a disgrace. There were hundreds of cigarette butts, trash everywhere, and apparently, they rent to work release prisoners and halfway houses, we found out later. Rough. The next morning the housekeeping kid knocked, my mom was sleeping, so I asked if we could just have a couple towels and some coffee. He was really nice and got me what I needed. Day two, I requested the same, and six hours later, my husband went to the lobby and got our stuff. Day three, no knock. I searched and found the kid. I asked if he was going to "Do", our room, he said he'd be back in a while. No. I looked for him again, found a different guy, asked for essentials, was told "Supply closet locked" and that he'd bring it in a bit. No. I went to lobby, got coffee and soap.

This is by far the worst hotel in Pottstown. Do yourself a favor and stay at comfort inn or motel 6 both a lot better. The front desk manager is rude and has no customer service skills.

Room was a good price, but you get what you pay for. Very small room, crayon scribbles on the wall, desk chair was stained. Breakfast was good. Overall, it served it's purpose.

Don't even waste your time. The rooms are disgusting, the staff is a joke. They go out of their way to be rude and unhelpful.

I booked this place 2 weeks prior to my trip because the pics on the website were very nice. My family arrived on site and were enraged at the quality of the exterior of the hotel. It's looks old and raggedy. This place was just disgusting. We didn't even bother checking in, we cancelled the reservations and went to the Comfort Inn where we slept very well. The lady at the front desk was very understanding tho that was the only good thing That I can say about this place. False advertising!

I am only 5 staring this place because of Greg the front counter guy. I believe he is assistant manager he works the front desk on swing shifts. But he was awesome ever time I went. Treat him with respect and he will bend over backwards to help you far and beyond his duties. I know this from personal experience.

Clean basic no frills … beds not great. Water had weird smell. Bring extra blankets… but heat nice and high when we checked in. This is a motel style… not hotel like the QI I'm used to.

This is a shit hole. Stayed a night rebooked and had to change rooms the next day… Only to get some crackhead knocking on the wrong door yelling outside my door for about an hour while I'm trying to sleep. Staff are also shitty.

Rooms were okay but they need better cleaning, spotted cobwebs in some corners. Mattress wasn't comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good. Location was good because it's close to everything. For the price you can't beat it. Also dog friendly which was helpful.

I would like to give no stars. I had an incident where my information was used at this hotel. I called the booking site that was used and explained that it wasn't me and I wasn't charged. After a while I noticed they took money out of my account for a "no-show" I called to get my money back and the gentleman that answered the phone was rude. He didn't want to give me my money back because he gets commission from that site. He also accused me of lying and said that it's hard for someone to have my name and card number and to book a room. Its actually not that hard for that to happen. It happens a lot. I told him I had proof that is was canceled with no charge. He told me to call back when I had it. When I did call him back he first said oh its you again. I did not like that. I didn't like how he treated me and raised his voice at me. So like any other person that was robbed of their money I yelled back because he wasn't listening to a word I was saying. I would not go to this hotel ever. If that employee was nicer to me about the situation then there would be a better review but if there is one bad employee there are more. Good luck if you go here…

Comfortable bed, clean room. Poor sound proofing between rooms, conversations and TV easily heard. No amenities to say of. Fellow attendees were not happy with the quality of the free breakfast. Shower and bathroom dated. Maintenance painted over rusted door hinges. Did not use television. Wi-Fi was adequate in the 140's for speed and signal quality.

For a motel on the cheaper end of the spectrum, the Quality Inn had fairly modern-looking rooms and were clean. An indoor pool would have been nice, as the outdoor pool was already closed for the season. I was here for a week and housekeeping stopped by daily to keep our room clean and stocked. The desk chair leaned, but was replaced as soon as we mentioned it to the staff. I would recommend Quality Inn to anyone on a budget.

I think beside building's being old, it was more like poorly maintained. Paid the same amount of money which would get a decent room in any other place, but chose this because it was the closest to the place we were going. And room were just terrible, all feeling was just horrible. Dirty furniture, low quality bed, not to mention our "non-smoking" room stroke us with the strong odor the minute we stepped in. Loud neighbor rooms, people hanging out on the rails, it was straight from the hood. The guy who checked us in on the night shift, couldn't do more to tell the world that he wasn't enjoying what he was doing. Only good thing I saw was, the guy who was preparing breakfast, was very polite, genuine, and was really trying his best to serve the guests. Definitely book the Days Inn or something.

Very poor quality, needs alot of updating. Poo left in toilet, bed is very uncomfortable we woke up with severe back pain, not enough choices for breakfast, we are vegetarians, couldn't get a cup of tea without caffeine, receptionist was very impolite and impatient, we couldn't find our way because of our GPS taking us in circles and call to get some directions and the receptionist was no help.

The breakfast is wonderful but this place is a dump. Don't let them photos online Trick you. Dirty and the house keepers are lazy. The outside has lots of spiders, webs and chipped paint.

Great experience! Staff was very accommodating for me and my family. There is a train station nearby, a park, and shopping center which was very convenient. There was also a delicious continental breakfast for us. Will certainly be returning and would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I stayed for one night but it was wonderful time with the hotel staff, everyone was very courteous. I had good time in the bar at night. In the morning continental breakfast was served. I enjoyed walking in the park, which is very next to the hotel. I wish I could stay there for couple of days more.

The breakfast was the only good thing here the rooms are old the toilet didn't work properly and the AC-DC leaked water stay away pay a little more for a better hotel.

Outdoor rooms. The room was non smoking but reeked like smoke and had an ash tray in the room. The bed was comfy and the room was clean though. I don't plan on going back ever.

I was there for a party and the ball room was very nice and the service was great.

I had a very bad experience with this Inn. They charged my credit card way over what I had authorized. Then they told me the extra charges would be reversed… which they were not! I called the Credit Card company to tell them of the matter. I then went in person to get some communication as they never returned my calls! I was informed that the charges would not be reversed as promised, and I would have to Contest the charges. Thankfully the CC company put a hold on my card because the CONTINUED to attempt additional charges. What kind of idiots run this Inn?! DON'T TRUST these sleazy folks.

We enjoyed are stay in a handicapped Room. We were visiting Pedre Pio in Pottstown Pa. My wife is handicapped and accidently left her purse in the room. We called back and Charleen and her staff looked for the purse. It was found and money and personal items were still intact. The courtesy and professional attitude of the whole staff was beyond outstanding. The food was terrific, t. V. Were outstanding. Most of all the room was handicapped accessible with the easy parking on the outside of the building. Charleen and staff are to be commended for the outstanding hospitality. Location could not be better…

First impression was this place was a dump. The only person that seemed to care was the front desk lady Maureen. Reserved a room for a girls weekend to visit family and friends. When we got to our room the room was dirty, stained blankets. Floor wasn't vacuumed. Theres were leaves going from front door to the bathroom. Towels had this Greg tint to them. Something sticky on table between beds, coffee grounds on ironing board and coffee tray that also had 1 regular coffee packet and several decaf packets. Dirty mirrors, hair in the sink, coffee stains on the tub, dirty toilet. And worst part of all mold on the wall. We called front desk and requested to moved and was told they had no other rooms. Two women came to are room, they had attitude, while they did offer to re-clean the room it didn't change the fact there is mold on the wall! The pictures are very deceiving. This place is like a rundown hooker motel. This place is an embaressment to the chain that owns it. By far the worst place I never had to stay at since I found another CLEAN place to stay. Pay the extra money for a Marriott.

Nice clean hotel. My room looks recently remodeled. Front desk was very accommodating in finding me a first floor room. I would have given it 5 stars but my door sticks and is hard to close.

I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels. This was the worst by far. Was there for 10 min and was check into three different rooms. The first room had dirty blankets with stains all over them. There was also a strange needle on the window seal. Next room the TV didn't work. Finally the third room they put me in I didn't even go in just because of the smell in the hall way. Do not stay here it is the worst hotel in PA.

This is a dingy hotel, beds are breaking down, sheets smells funny, shower room needs repair, lots of bugs/mosquito inside the room. The Free breakfast as they advertised is not true. They served gravy sausage instead of real sausage. Bad quality hotel.

I decided to stay here as it was super close to everything I needed. The nuke plant (work) Walmart, McDonalds, gas station, and Best Buy to blow my paychecks. I was told the weekly rate was ~430. What the staff didn't tell me (and my bank DID) was that there was a 550 dollar "authorization charge, " that would be returned to my account shortly. It has not yet made it back to me after 3 days. There is a bar in the parking lot (which stays open for night shift people in the morning! ) however, they didn't mention that it was one of the most popular bars in the area, with LOUD music, tons of people, and screaming idiots. Good luck sleeping on a Saturday night! Oh the room!? Well upon opening the door, it felt like I was walking into some old submarine with how the doors are made of steel. Not really a problem but still. I also found a few dead unrecognizable bugs on the bathroom floor. LONG dead. Nearly crumpled into dust upon kicking one of them. Beds are comfy. There's a plus. The room also has a microwave and mini fridge. The staff isn't very good at responding to complaints either. As I write this review, an alarm clock in the next room over (which isn't occupied) is reaching it's 4th hour of continuous beeping. Will not be staying here again. Let alone the entire time I need to be in PA.

DIRTY MOTEL! This place was just plain nasty and the service was poor. My first night at the motel the blanket was covered in poo yes human SH! T. When I reported this the lady at the front desk down played the sisutation and act like it was no big deal infact she said it was nothing she could do because hosuekeeping was gone for the night. WTF! The next day my baby neice soiled the sheets and they didn't change that. These people do not believe in chenging sheets its groos. When I tried to complain to the mangager to refund me for one night do to poor service, she was never working or did not answer the phone or return my calls. Bottom line the place sucks, the people sucks, and the motel is BS. Never again! P. S DO NOT swim in the pool it's also dirty, cloudy and had creepy men lurking near by trying to get a peak. Ewww.
