The place is horrible, the rooms smell terrible, the attention is very bad, they didn’t want to change our room for the same price. We prefer to pay $ 25 to cancel and look for another hotel, I don’t want to risk being mugged while I sleep. Please, if you are a normal person, don’t go to this really horrible. It is horrible.

This hotel is absolute garbage. I spent the weekend herr for MDW and I watched management kick out about 4 different rooms including my own. We were falsely accused and forced to leave within 10 minutes or the police would be called. I spent upwards of 750 dollars to stay here only to be tossed on my butt. Management is not friendly or accommodating at all. The rooms were awful, the bathrooms were filthy, housekeeping took forever to get to our room. All in all do not stay here.

This place is poorly run by an inefficient manager who fails to help customers and is completely idle when it comes to doing his job. "The man behind the glass" is a complete moron, who has no business operating a hotel; he should be ashamed of himself for the quality of effort and work he puts into his job. His lack of professionalism is pitiful. In addition to the poor customer service, the hotel is old and run down. It lacks cleanliness and customer commodities. 0/10 for this place, DO NOT RECOMMEND! Also, the manager has a deal with a towing service (run by low-life overweight individuals) that attempts to charge customers with invalid parking. There is an inefficient warning side on the wall that is unapparent to customers pulling into the parking lot. All in all, THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE! There are plenty of other hotels in the area that you can have a more pleasant stay at for the money. This hotel should be ashamed of themselves.

Rude Employees. False advertising. Scam Charges. I needed a hotel room for the week and I decided to come here. They advertise weekly stay but when you call them, they day they don't do weekly rates. When you ask them how many rooms they have available, they always say none. So one day I drove to their location and saw LITERALLY 4 cars in their parking lot, so then I called them and asked how many rooms they had a available and the young guy that's at the front desk again told me they have nothing available. They prefer to know if you're paying first before they try to accommodate you. Asking for simple things like change for the vending machine, the Wi-Fi password, or extra towels gets you at least 15mins of waiting before they decide to help you AND attitude and rudeness befitting of a Desperate House wife. Also the staff is not above LYING to make their guests leave. Me and my GF were staying in a room, no neighbors on either side of us, which is ideal when you enjoy privacy as we do. The next day after returning from shopping, the same young guy approached us… arms folded, stern look, and harsh tone and said "Weve been getting complaints about the noise youre making in your room and if it doesn't stop we will call the police. "… I was dumbfounded because not only were we completely isolated from the rest of the hotel (not to mention their were barely any other residents in the hotel). Our TV was at a low volume, we weren't arguing, and our sex wasn't Even that loud.

The experience was so unpleasant. Didn’t want to give me a room because I had a cat but then he talked to his wife and she said yes just for two days mind you they are pet friendly hotel. I was walking to the room as I passed other room, guy next to the room I was staying he had two cats but they didn’t want to book the room for me at first unbelievable. I walked in the room and it was just blah TV only picked up four channels. Pillows and towels had yellow stains. Bathroom had cat litter everywhere.

The staff are outrageous me and my bf went in and got our room, a hour goes buy and we see that there’s dry blood on our sheets and holes on our blanket. The worst part is the we booked two night, when we went to complain he wouldn’t refund us the full price we paid for, he said we should have came to complain within 5 minuets when we step in our room, when we asked for clean sheets he said they don’t have an inventory. But short story short anyway he decided to call the police. The staff are worst and CLEANING STAFF NEEDS TO DO THEIR JOB RIGHT! I would give them zero stars if I could honestly!

Nasty bed bug rooms. Leaking hole in ceiling.

Normal economy hotel. Room was smoking and had the decadent tabacco scent. Service was good. Hot water works, heater works.

The owners are so nice & gave us our pick of rooms! It's comfortable and all the employees are very nice! If needing a simple place to crash, we recommend it. Very reasonable.

RUDE and SCAM ARTISTS! My family ordered 3 rooms for 2 nights at this establishment. When we got in the rooms they were cold. The bathroom floor was like ice that never warmed up. After one night, I received a phone call with the office manager threatening to kick my 3 year old daughter and I out because I gave her a bath in the tub in our room that leaked into the basement. When I requested a different room he told me no and said I have to give my 3 year a shower or just leave. They threanted to charge me for the damages even though I explained that It was not my fault. Because I have to leave they are charging the rest of my family for the 2nd night of stay in the rooms even though we are all leaving to go to a different hotel. They have horrible customer service with no appreciation for the business they receive.

NEVER EVER AGAIN! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I was going to stay here a week ago. The office staff was the least friendly, unhelpful and unprofessional group of people I have ever met. I walked into the lobby and a young girl was crying because they would not refund her money. I minded my own business because I did not know the story but the men behind the counter were nastier and nastier to her as the conversation went on. Later to find out she opened up the door to the room and was completely uncomfortable and decided to stay else where. When it was my turn, I checked in as I had done many years ago. The difference was the staff was nasty to me as well. They showed me my room and I looked around as I do at all places and they got mad because I checked the matteress for bugs. The man said “that’s unnecessary” no, I don’t care how expensive or how cheap it is I check it. A few seconds later he leaves my room and starts screaming at a group of 4 girls and one boy that they need to leave even though they all checked in. This group was not rowdy but he decided they needed to leave because they were there with their door open which apparently is not allowed. After the guy left I checked my room and saw a few bugs and decided I too did not want this stay there and was uncomfortable with the fact that these young adults were kicked out for something so minor. I could understand if they were smoking or being rowdy but they truly weren’t.

Didnt even stay. Payed for room. Walked in. Sat on bed and sunk right in. Opened bathroom door smelt of urine. Went to front desk and got a refund. On debit card. Manager did credit as a charge card. Said it would take 48 hrs for money to be back on my card. I called my bank and fixed it. Very horrible.

If I could give it a lower score, I would. Booked through priceline for a wedding and tried to check in early in order to get ready for the wedding (which every other hotel I've ever tried to do this at usually has SOME rooms clean). The lobby was dirty, smelled like smoke and old coffee, the employee was behind bullet proof glass, and they gave us a story about the housekeeper leaving and all we saw was her motion to her arm and say something about blood… not sure if it was the housekeepers or someone else's. Was too late to cancel reservation, so we still had to pay even though we found and stayed in a cleaner, more accommodating hotel in which we actually felt safe.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Firstly the owner of this establishment is exceedingly unprofessional. Upon arriving to our room, there was a syringe needle under our bed we notified the manager he switched our room to a bigger one. There was crumbs on the floor and the next day when we went to shower there was 2 roaches in the shower. We notified the hotel manager and he went back to check (of course they were gone) and he threatened to call the cops on us because we were teting to "scam" him even though we have pictures where it is clear and apparent. He was so rude. He was telling us to move and talking down to us because we are younger. So very unprofessional and dirty.

Arrived at location at 3:30 am. Staff would not allow late check out and charged an extra $20 for an extra hour of sleep. They have a pool but will not give extra towels for it. Offer basic breakfast with cereal, bagels coffee n bananas.

FLEAS! I hope I got your attention. 1 star is generous. Let me begin. I was staying for only 1 night with my dog. Approximately 5 minutes after I checked into the room I noticed a bug on my leg and swatted it away thinking nothing of it. A minute later, I noticed another and then more on my socks. I knew that if I had these bugs, my dog would have them. Sure enough, they were all over her. For the record, she is 12 years old and has NEVER had fleas. I don't know if we picked them up in the small patch of grass in the parking lot or in the room. I do know that I didn't notice them until we were in the room for a few minutes. I proceeded to bathe my dog for the next 2 and a half hours trying to get rid of the fleas. I informed the front desk and they sent someone up to spray something into the corners of the room (which will do nothing to get rid of fleas, you have to fumigate). Front desk said they would refund my money since there were no other rooms available. Then, after the bath had overflow, the front desk guy said they would not refund my money. I thought I might be able to stay if I got rid of the fleas from me and my dog but whenever I walked out of the bathroom near the bed, I found a couple more fleas hopping onto my feet. I decided I couldn't stay. Also, I wasn't able to rid all of the fleas from my dog so on my way home picked up flea & tick shampoo and bathed her again when I got home. So I paid $200 to drive 70 miles, get fleas and drive back home 70 miles.

There were crack pipe burns on the bed sheets, the Wi-Fi doesn't work, TV doesn't work, got herpes from using suspicious brown blanket, desk chair has suspicious brown and white stains on it, sockets too big for most plugs.

We stayed here for the Formula Drift event at Wall Speedway. The service was terrible. The room was disgusting. Blood on a pillow. The Wi-Fi didn't work. The pool hours are 8am to 630pm only. The breakfast was old stale bagels and some orange juice. Not even worth close to the asking price. Would give it a 0 star if possible.

Americas Best Value Inn Neptune, Should not be on this website this inn was awful. The sheets were not clean, the toilet didn't work.

Some shady characters that stay there. Cops also like to park and observe there too. Burn holes in the comforter but I like the space and that there were other places to sit other than the bed. Oh and the TV? … terrible not so many channels to choose from. I was really bored.

I stay here a lot when I need to get away. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. No complaints here.

Scariest Stay ever! The linen was dirty, old out dated, taped up mattresses, old tvs, cracked bathrom mirror, dirty tub and MICE EVERYWHERE! THERE WERE ABOUT 9 MICE IN MY ROOM JUMPING ALL OVER AND RUNNING THROUGH MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS! THEY REFUSE TO GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK OR SWITCH YOUR ROOM. Not to mention when I left the room and came back my carry on bag was missing! if you are thinking about staying here haul ass!

The room I reserved had 2 full size beds. They were very comfortable. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The bathroom could use a little bit of bleach, but other then that it was clean. There was a full size refrigerator in the room which was great. The Hotel is right next to a marina which is beautiful. Its located within 5 minutes of several of the beaches. Breakfast was acceptable. (bagels, donuts, cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice)

Stay away. My buddies and I have an event we go to every year that is close to this hotel. The first year was a NIGHTMARE but for that we figured we could make good out of this cheap hotel, by enjoying the adventures of how horrible the hotel actually is. The first year, the Hotel ceiling collapsed in our bathroom due to a pipe or something breaking water related, causing my friend to slip on the floor and cut his head open two weeks before his wedding! We were NOT offered our money back or ANY sort of reimbursement or compensation for this incident. That on top of how all the rooms smells and looks is awful. I have pictures to prove how dirty the blankets and the floors actually were! After three hilarious years of this "hotel" attempting to accommodate us, we have finally called it quits. This year we found toe nail clippings, cigarette butts and dead bugs on the floor under the beds. The complementary breakfast is NOT fresh or smart to eat by any means. I also left my bag by the front desk last year, and the guy bargained with me about giving it back to me if I write him a good review! are you kidding me?! The people who stay at this hotel are shady too! We never felt safe or clean at this place! If you can stay anywhere else even if you have to spend a little more, WE advise you do so. I have pictures on my phone, I wish I could show you people proof, because it would be proof enough to never stay here again.

Our family spent a very nice weekend in Belmar, Spring Lake and Bradley Beach. We had two rooms. One for me and my wife and the other for our sons. Both rooms were always clean when we came back for the day and everything worked out perfectly. Would stay again.
