I had an incredibly terrible experience here! After a nine-hour trip, I arrived at around 10:20 pm, only to be informed that I couldn’t check into my hotel because my name wasn’t on the reservation. Initially, it was, but somehow it got removed when we received an upgrade. Mind you, the room was fully paid for. Luisa, the person at the front desk, assured me that all my husband needed to do was call and confirm. (Just to clarify, my last name and address matched the reservation exactly. ) My husband immediately made the call, only to be instructed to contact bonvoy. I can’t comprehend why Luisa would blatantly lie to me like that! Instead of providing assistance, both Luisa and the rest of the staff from that shift did nothing! My 12-year-old daughter and I were left sitting in the lobby for nearly two hours, with only our suitcases, in a strange city, without a car. When Luisa and the rest of the staffs shift ended, they simply walked out, showing no concern for the fact that a mother and child were stranded in their lobby. It was nearly midnight. The utter lack of care, compassion, and the complete unwillingness to assist customers at this location is absolutely mind-boggling! What kind of individuals and company think it’s acceptable to leave a mother and child stranded in a strange city with no car, especially at midnight? We did eventually get in our room, no thanks to Luisa.
