Unsafe rooms and very dilapidated rooms. I will not ever recommend this place to anyone ever. The rooms had the smoke detectors disconnected and the sprinklers disconnected. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking, except that's a lie. The rooms show heavy signs of smoking in them with ash and burn marks on the furniture. The tub looked like it was never cleaned. We couldn't even spend the night in that condition. The owner refused to refund and acknowledge the problems.

This place shouldn t even function without a serious update. Reception area, rooms dirty. Long check in time. Worst breakfast ever. Coffee tasteless. Very old furniture and appliances. The only good thing: sheets were white and clean. (Excluding one pillow case).

You are better off staying at the Bayveiw motel up the street! It’s abandoned but I’m sure the smell, decor and cleanliness puts the Royal lodge to shame. I’m sure my kids and myself need a checkup after staying. The bathrooms are horrific. The smell will drive you insane. This place should be the next story line of American Horror Story! Save your money and sleep on the boardwalk The only reason why they have that one star is because I can’t post a review without one.

We booked a family room to fit 7 of us. Fit is all fine but we found bed bugs with in the first hour there. We complained and the front desk guy came up and pretty much told us to hush and not let anyone else know. We demanded a refund so we could go some where cleaner. (Bathroom smelt like urine, floors was dirty, coffee pot was dirty, blankets had holes in them etc etc) he refused to give us cash back and said it had to be put back on my card. I was afraid of the funds being held. Which, since it was a Sunday led to my card frozen. No money to go else where we looked at a different room. He wouldn't let us search both beds to make sure there was no bugs (since it was next door to other room) we didn't find any but it was a smaller room and only had 2 beds for 7 people. They got us a twin mattress to throw on the floor. Some of my family ended up sleeping in the vehicle that night because of it. So we was stuck and with out money since card was froze. Took 3 days before funds was released. Their breakfast is a joke. A. 50 cent cinnamon roll. We had to fight to get 4 for 7 people. They refused to give any more. The wife of the owner was super rude and told me to get out of the office when I asked for more cinnamon rolls to feed my kids. I was fed up and asked for a refund. They refused and said I had a contract for 5 days and that's what I get. We ended up leaving early with out a refund.

No stars for this place! We asked for a non smoking room I could hardly breath due to the smell of nicotine! The sheets on the bed looked dirty the duvet had a cigarette burn in it. The jacuzzi looked disgusting! The bath tub was clogged… The vanity light wouldn’t stop flickering and the bathroom smelled like pee! We took off the next day! Not cool guys, look elsewhere!

I don't usually take other people's reviews seriously, so I booked this hotel even after reading all the reviews. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! First of all, when I booked the room it charged me the price of the room 2 random times before our trip. I had to call my bank to get it fixed. When we got there, it took 10 mins for someone to open the door to the office area. We had to repeatedly ring the bell and call before someone showed up. Then when he did, he took us in the office and made the person behind us wait outside while we checked in. My husband asked the from desk man if he was going to charge my card again, just to be sure he wouldn't, and the guy said no, and proceeded to write down my card info on a piece of paper! Then he said "if I did there's not much you can do. In this country all you can do is call the bank and complain. " So after he got into a pretty heated argument with my husband, he threatened to not give us a room. When he finally gave us the key, the room was ATROCIOUS! SO FILTHY! Nothing was cleaned. The shower was really loud, the door lock didn't work, all the walls and floors were cracked. It smelled completely like smoke. The carpet to the entrance wasn't even attached to the ground. The drawers we're all broken. The toilet was filthy, and they had air fresheners in every corner of the room. I've stayed in some awful hotels over the years, but this was completely disgusting. It should be shut down. I.

This was the worst hotel in Atlantic City rooms are garbage sheets are not clean, jacuzzi was disgusting, the toilets don't work the beds when not set for people to sleep on them. There were tiles missing from jacuzzi the property manager walking around with air freshener to spray in the rooms while he walked into it indicating that nobody stays there and it smells you don't believe me take a look at these pictures, I would never recommend this hotel for anybody to stay in not even my worst enemy.

Worst stay ever! It’s a good deal but spend the extra $5-10 to stay in a clean and comfortable room. Once we entered the room there was a small of old furniture, the place did not look clean at all! The bathroom looked filthy and dirty. We managed to just use the room as the place to crash, until the squeaking of rats and mice on the ceiling tiles woke me up in the middle of the night! I couldn’t believe it! Don’t spend your money there it’s a rip-off!

If I could give this place a half star, that would have been too much. I will say unequivocally DON'T… NO, DON'T. Spend the extra money for a place that you can be comfortable in. I just should have slept in the car. When you must cover the furniture with a towel just to sit, the room table top is held on by a bent screw, the toilet seat only has one side secured to the bowl and an ant in the sink, stay away. There was a used bar of soap in the tub, the fridge was not working, and still more was wrong but I don't want to write a book… simply, find somewhere else.

Crooked Owner. Laziest Business owner to ever own a fine American peice of land. How do these people come to our country, own precious real estate. Just to run it in the ground? More disappointed in the people who let this business get in the hands of a slumlord. REALLY depressing stuff. Has so much potential.

This place was disgusting! I uderstand that for $35 for the night you can't expect much. All I wanted was a clean bed to sleep on. I didn't care about condition of anything else in the room. I pull the blanket back and the first bed had oil stains on the flat sheets and hair on pillows. I pull back sheets on second bad and there isn't even a fitted on mattress and it is full of blood stains. I informed the owner and he didn't even apologize but said he would give me another room. We go to new room and I ask that I want to see the mattress and under sheets. He barely pulls back sheets to show and when I tell him I want to see the whole bed he says "no, I can give yoo your money back" I said I'm not trying to be difficult, I just want a clean bed to sleep on. He responded "when do I eat dinner? I work like donkey" I said okay, give me my money back. I wouldn't stay here for free! Then I found a room 10x nicer for $20 more at the Super 8.

This place only get one star because it wouldn’t let me give it less. I have never experienced racism like I have staying here I am mixed and my mother is white we are the ones who checked in the manager was so nice but when we go to unload into our separate rooms with my boyfriend and my step father who are black the man questions my boyfriend which room he was staying in like he’s not supposed to be there and makes a face when I said he’s in my room then goes and tells my mother that he saw my step father smoking that there’s no smoking in the rooms and they call the police for that. Then he made it a point to come in my room twice to fix things that should’ve been done before I got here or small stuff that could’ve waited. I got the room with the Jacuzzi in it if that’s what you want to call it but couldn’t figure out how to turn the jets so I called the office and they came over to show me now mind you I have the hottest water running through it with a ton of bleach because I’m not getting in a dirty tub so when we opened the door because it’s cold outside steam started coming out of the room he proceeded to get upset and tell me that he knows my kind of people that I’m a bad person refused to speak to my husband would only speak to me then said if I wanted my money back that I could take it and go because he doesn’t want my kind there.

You get what you pay for. Next time travel Lodge or something that's equal to travel Lodge no breakfast just a pot of coffee in the office front door lock doesn't work bathroom was just ok some of the lights didn't work glad I only stayed one night Had snow when I arrived nobody cleaned the outside steps my room was on the second floor hand rail was taped together Only real good thing 6 min. To downtown AC next time lots of nice motels on RT 30 have to pay a little more.

The beds and carpet were disgusting. Bathroom door would not lock and had tape over the lock. Bathroom Door had holes in it. Shower rail was being held up by being wedged in with a piece of cardboard. Never again will I stay here or recommend it to anyone. You may be left without a place to stay for the night, as other people with reservations did not get a room ams were turned away. And even if you do it will be not worth your money. You can't even get your money back as they unknowingly make you sign a piece of paper saying you can't get a refund or anything from them or your credit card company. Beware.

The WORST "Hotel" in the world! Main problems/issues are: 1) The owner (Bob Patel) is a prejudiced racist and a bigoted religious fanatic! 2) The rooms are NOT cleaned between guests; 3) The owner ALWAYS tries to hussle extra money out of guests; 4) There are COCKROACHES in the rooms and MICE and RATS in the ceiling tiles! 5) The bathrooms are NOT sanitized between guests! 6) The pillowcases are washed but the sheets and the blanket are NOT! 7) There are only 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and they're OLD and NASTY. 8) MOST IMPORTANTLY — the owner ALWAYS LIES! HE'S NASTY, NOT SMART and will charge your credit card if you give him your number even if you pay in cash.

Worst stay anywhere ever! Management is rude, rates and charges vary on a whim. Depending on your cash availability you might get one of the nicer rooms.

The manager here was old and did not know much about technology, email, or online booking. After we booked from Travelocity and reached the hotel the manager said I don't care about the Travelocity or Expedia booking. My hotel room is 120$ and I won't give a dollar below that. Within half hour there were 20 other guests waiting outside the room. All these guests along with us waited for 2.5 hours asking for refund or checkin. Neither he gave us refund not he let us check-in. Finally after several fights and arguments all the guests left. Travelocity apologised to us for doing business with this crappy hotel and relocated us to a great 3 star hotel in the area. The manager was stubborn and said I don't care about anyone. I'm a surgeon and MBA student and feel people do not understand the science of customer satisfaction and business process development. Good luck.

Booked room online, noted we had a registered service dog. When we got there we noticed about 40 old mattresses stacked up on the lawn. Office was filthy and smelled terribly. They charged for the room and then said we could not have the room we booked due to our service animal, against the law. He took us to the room he wanted to give us and the stench just about knocked us out. We demanded the room we booked and they refused. The police did respond quickly when we called them. The officers told us that they are normally there 2-3 times daily. With their help we were able to get our money refunded, and we went to the Holiday Inn. They have been reported to the ADA. If you are thinking about staying there, just keep on driving. I need a shower just thinking about this. Place should be shuttered.

Big no no! please please please! If u want to spend a good night make your family happy on the vacation and need ur honeymoon to be perfect for your partner then never ever stay in this garbage place this is worst then a garbage bin. The sign says that laundry is on lacation. But trust me they will not let you do the laundry by your convinence. And they don't have sign there that we have to pay for laundry. Biggest problem is the owner and his wife they are the rudest people I have ever seen in my life. First they were very nice when we were checking in after we checked in one of the room we rented has no ac working. Then they moved us to other room than there are multiple kind of bugs in the room toilet are very bad. No extra pillow, and blanket. The time we are about to checking out we were putting our stuff in the car the owner assume that we r leaving without giving them the keys and money of laundry which is about $7.50. And $10.00 for extra hour we stayed there, and start screaming at us like we r theives. Then we went to the office and talk abt thier behaviour they were arguing with us. Over all it was a nightmare of my life staying in that motel.

This place is the most horrifying, disgusting hotel I have ever seen. When arririving the people were super rude. When they finally took us to our room, the owner (Mr. Patel) had to spray an air freshener upon walking in. I gues that should had been the first red flag. The first room's bathroom smelt like Marijuana. Then he takes us to the room next door, where everything was filthy! The pillow had stains on the sheets, the beds did not even have sheets on them. When I asked for a new pillow case he picked up a pillow from the floor and threw it on the bed. Absolutely horrible service. When I finally decided I couldnt stay there in the conditions, he refused to give me my money back. After attempting to make several phone calls, including the booking people. I decided to leave and lost the $180 dollars because there was no way I would be able to stay under those conditions for that amount of money. There is no corporate office to even call to speak to managers. I recommend NO ONE, to ever stay here. Especially families with children.

Outdated room that needs serious attention. However, the room served its purpose. Everything functioned & we are still alive. The cost was extremely affordable, but if you're looking for glamour this is not the place for you. Looking for a cheap room for a night or 2?!? I say DO IT!

This was the worst motel ever. The standard of this hotel below anywhere my husband and I seen. We made a huge mistake of booking for 5 nights. When we got to the lodge at midnight, it took them a while to attend to us. They staff were rude and unfriendly. As soon as we got in to the room, we noticed that pretty much everything was dirty and old and disgusting. All the furniture from the telephone to the small fridge appeared to have worn out. The rooms smelled of musty and smoky, the rugs old and dirty, broken blinders, stained blanket and sheets with bed bugs, and and disgusting toilet and tub. To get rid of the nasty smell, they burn candles which made it more musty and even worst and gave us allergic reaction. We were switched 3 times and all the rooms are the same even the one with the jacuzzi. When we asked for our money back, the manager refused. After so much complaints and back and forth, including contacting a police, we settled for a partial refund. Beware this motel is not not as advertised on the internet. This motel is compromising public health and safety and should be shut down!

Do not stay here! We stayed for 3 days and no one cleaned our room and no clean sheets. We need to ask for towels every time we need them and then they don't want to give us 5 (1 for each person in our room). Owner/manager told mu husband they dont clean until we leave! Mold in bathroom above shower head. Tv remote doesn't work. Cob webs in room. Not as we booked, we have family suite which should be 3 queen beds and a sofa, but we have 2 queen and a twin (which is 2 mattresses on the stacked on the floor). Front door is messed up. Patches on the walls. Outdated furniture. Broken verticals blinds. No breakfast as advertised and included in our stay, in fact the office door is always locked during those times (830-10am). Burn holes in the comforters when it says smole free. Kids running around outside all over. Would not recommend at all. Pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.

Pictures online didn't look like this! They may have been pictures from when this place first opened but not how it is now. Kids running around outside all the time. No breakfast as was on our booking. Not even coffee. When we go down the door is always locked and there is nothing there. The room isn't like what we booked. We have 2 queen beds and a twin (which is 2 mattresses on the floor), the booking said 3 queen beds and a sofa. Black mold I found above the shower head. Front door is messed up. Marks on the wall. Burn holes in the blankets when they say it's smoke free. Vertical blinds are broken. Cob webs on the ceiling. Garbage cans never got emptied. Remote didn't work most of the time. No clean sheets or bed made. No. Vacuum ran. (Owner told my husband they dont clean tbe room until you leave! ) Never clean towels and when we went for towels it was an effort to give them and they never wanted to give how many we needed (5 towels for 5 people). Owner/manager didn't seen to be around when we wanted to complain and other ladies weren't too helpful either. Never got a proper receipt on check in or check out. Lady at check out couldn't print one out because she "didn't know how". Pay the extra and go somewhere else. Would love a refund of some of our money but no one around to even ask or talk to.

This place should be shut down. I'm ashamed this business is run in my country.

Owner was very pleasant to deal with rooms were very clean and just an overall very nice quiet place to be I would totally recommend it.

Never use internet for find a place to stay. I found this place and the page looks good but it is not like it is … No WORDS CAN EXPRESS THE DISGUSTING AND GROUSE CAN BE THIS PLACE no good no good just go to the ofice and you will be smelling that iuuuughh.

This was the most disgusting motel I've ever stayed in, and waaaaaay overpriced for the sh*thole it is. The office was small, dingy and gnats flew around everywhere. We waited for 15 minutes without any recognition from staff that was checking in someone else. (A quick "We'll be right with you" would be nice) The room was old, dingy, and again with the gnats EVERY WHERE. Took the comforter off the bed immediately to reveal hair everywhere. There was a hole in the wall that allowed a clear view to the OUTSIDE. The other rooms had similar holes in the walls. The water in the shower was cold. We called the front desk and they said they would fix the problem. After a half hour we went to the office and demanded a refund, we were not going to spend the night in this dump. No refunds, they said. I demanded to see the manager. After waiting for 10 minutes we just left. Not worth ruining my trip over…

This place is absolutely terrible, the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned, the room smelled like cigarettes although I stayed in a smoke free room, the lobby smelt like ramen noodles, we found roaches and there was a blood stain on the bed and the pillow cases where dirty. The service also takes forever and have a rotten attitude.

This was the worst place I ever stayed at. The staff was nice at first then turned very nasty. Me and my pregnant wife arrived at the checkin at midnight after a long drive they took forever to give us our key. We inspected the room and it looked as it was never cleaned. It smelled and the toilet backed up with the first flush. We left to grab a bite to eat while they fixed the toilet. After coming back we found out there were roaches. We tried to go to the office but no one answerd the door. Me and my pregnant wife had to sleep in the car. No refund after this whole situation and I would never recommend anyone here. When I told them the situation they didn't care and told me To report them that im a American Democrat.

The staff was friendly when we arrived the room appeared ok for money but we got a spa room that we could not use cause of lack of hot water we couldn't even get hot shower, there was no continental breakfast and there's no parking so u have assigned spots come back from the casino I get told to park in a none spot in front of a dumpster, on the plus I accidentally left my wedding set in the room and realised it after we checked out about 2 hours later and they had it and was going to mail it but e went back and picked it up.

Please don't stay here. Bed bugs, roaches and mice scurry about while awake and asleep. Loud noise all night. Management is not professional. Knocking on the door all day and night. No house keeping. Water is contaminated with sulfer and smells badly dirty. Stay away. Sleep in your car and then drive away as quickly as possible.

This wasnt the best place to stay. Mangement very nosey, but very nice. Room smelled terriable. Hammering and saws in the room next to us until 11pm and I have to young boys. Our room was entered and never cleaned during our stay. Thank Goodness I packed my truck daily as I left the room. The maintance man was a freak too. Stalking hallways all hours of night. Wont stay here again. Think I rather sleep in my car. Think twice before you lay your head down.

I booked a 2 night stay on August 9 and 10 2014 I took my daughters to Atlantic City Beach first time in there lives 13 yrs and 10 yrs. 5:00 pm 1st thing I saw was Roach Motels placed in several area's I would of left on spot but they already charged my Bank card for full amount. Unknown to me at the time I gave my DL and bank card they made copies of them but why they already had their money. We went to beach upon returning we killed 9 roaches in the room. We did not want to stay So on 10th the Wife of Manger knocked on our door told us to get out Check out is 11:00am. I told her we have 2 day rental. They did not clean the room or give us clean towels the toliets would not flush until serveral trys and tub went down slowely. Upon Turning more roachs were seen and killed. NEVER AGAIN my children were scared the roaches would crawl on them while they slept I told 1 of the service workers and he said he would tell manger and I said I a sure he already knows.

Bad customer service. Also got bit by bed bugs. Turned my electric off. Charged credit card even after leaving hotel. Would never stay there again. Wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

I liked this place and the owner was very professional and nice. It is family owned and they live there. The room was clean and I enjoyed using the refrigerator and the microwave. I will stay here again because of the low price. I had no problems with internet and it comes with free breakfast.

My 1st. Mistake, did not make reservations before coming to atlantic city. Therefore, I ended up in the "bates motel". I was afraid to lay my head on the pillow. Most horrible smell in the room. What a joke, free breakfast-watered down coffee, a danish in a plastic bag brought from the back room, no tables to eat. The place is lucky to get 2 stars — only because they were polite. Across from the motel, a smell of dead fish from a area of water. Very difficult to understand, No speaky ENGLISH. I tried to stay out of room as much as possible.
