The accommodations and service at Captain Farris House are FIRST CLASS! The owners Carol and Jeff are such nice and welcoming people. My husband and I just love this place!

Jeff & Carol were so welcoming and thoughtful. Our room was lovely, as was the rest of the inn. We loved our stay here!

The room was spotless, the sheets were super soft, and it had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The owners are congenial and accommodating. The breakfasts are outstanding! The jacuzzi tub was welcome are our chilly December beach walk.

Beautiful place, great location, amazing food, lovely innkeepers, reasonable prices. Brunch was amazing. Highly recommend!

The accommodations where comfortable and beautiful. Carol and Jeff and their staff were gracious and helpful with advise and service. And the breakfast alone would be worth the stay. Delicious! We had a wonderful trip celebrating our 35th Anniversary. We stayed in the Phoebe White Suite with a fireplace and double Jacuzzi. Perfect for a romantic weekend.

This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast Carol and Jeff have set the bar pretty high. Room was great and staff and owners very friendly. Breakfast was truly a treat both days. I would highly recommend.

We stopped at Captain Farris' for just a night on our road trip. It's a charming bed & breakfast. Great location, close to everything, very quiet, warm & friendly, delicious breakfast & treats. My wife and I have stayed at the Capt. Farris House 3 times over the past 3 years and on each occasion we came away extremely pleased with our stay. INCREDBLE hospitality. Sensitive to food needs. (We're vegetarian s. ) Super comfortable bed, firm but not hard. (Stayed in Room 8. ) On National Historic Register, 1845. Great location … Area captures Cape Cod as it used to be. Across the street from the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

Don't want to leave this place. The innkeepers are so amazing, generous & thoughtful. They went out of their way to make my husband & my wedding so special & a memory we will blissfully cling to for life. This place is an idyllic must-see. And, on top of the lovely hosts & quaint decor, the daily breakfasts provided by Carol & Jeff are exquisite. So thankful God led us here.

My fiance and I stayed here for our engagement weekend. The hospitality and charm of this place is unparalleled. The room was beautiful and clean, the hosts were gracious and friendly, and the breakfast was perfect. It is clear that Carol and Jeff put their hearts into this place. Sure, there are places in this world where you can feel like home, but they are becoming more and more scarce in these days of massive tourism. That is why The Captain Farris is so special. It is a place with a magical atmosphere. Yes, the house is gorgeous, the music hipnotic, the rooms beautiful and comfortables, the food amazing and the location spectacular, but is only when you add the love and care that Carol and Jeff seem to put in every detail that the mixture becomes unforgettable. My wife and I will always remember our time on Cape Cod thanks to this little gem that is Captain Farris.

Jeff and Carol are exceptional hosts and the nicest couple, making us feel welcome from the word go. They were very knowledgeable on places to visit and eat and even made us dinner reservations. The rooms were lovely, The breakfasts were amazing (you won’t need lunch) and there were additional nice touches like complementary drinks in the library and an excellent selection of DVDs to borrow. I would have no hesitation in returning.

Just returned from a heavenly long weekend. Carol and Jeff are darling-the sweetest hosts-and if they recommend a restaurant, listen up! They didn’t steer us wrong! The inn is relaxing and cozy. Loved having the fireplace in our room and all of the thoughtful little touches throughout the house, the candy and pottery from local shops, the spa-like scents, and the fresh baked goods each afternoon. A gem to stay in, any time of year!

What a lovely paradise, even in the winter! Completely felt like a true getaway during our 2-day weekend in February. We felt like we were transported in time and space. It was a very authentic and elegant New England experience. Everything, including ambience, food, is excellent. The host is super friendly and accommodating. I loved the fireplace and private jetted tub in the room we stayed in. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone having a chance to visit New England or Cape Cod should come experience Captain Farris House at least once.

Our first visit to the Cape (and Captain Farris House) couldn’t have been more wonderful! The owners, Jeff and Carol, made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. My husband and I were incredibly sad to say good-bye when we left. I hit that most dreaded of birthday milestones while I was there and Carol put together a birthday surprise for me that evening and I was almost in tears. We will definitely go back – if you are ever in the Cape Cod area, you have to stay with these wonderful people! You won’t want to leave!

This B&B is very charming. The dining areas are very inviting with white table clothes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Carol and Jeff. The only complaint are the squeaky floors but understandably the house was built ages ago.

Great place, very quiet. The owners treat you well amd everything is close by. The suites are highly recommended.

My husband and I had the most lovely stay here for our "babymoon". The whole house and suites at Captain Farris are beautifully maintained and clean. Breakfast is a welcome treat each morning and carefully planned and made with love by owners Carol and Jeff, who happen to also be the most generous and gracious hosts.

Spent 5 days here. Loved the location! The management (Jeff and Carol) were extremely personable, and we enjoyed interacting with them multiple times on a daily basis. The breakfasts were Master Chef quality and so were the goodies baked each day. My wife is a tough critic, and she commented within the first 5 minutes how immaculately clean the place was. It seemed that nothing went unconsidered when creating a perfect vacationing experience for the guests. We cannot compliment the experience enough. As first-time B&B residents, we are spoiled and any other place will have difficulty competing with Jeff, Carol, and the Captain Farris House experience.

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Captain Farris House. From our spacious Bray's Retreat room with king bed, two person jacuzzi tub, and view of the gardens, to the delicious breakfast prepared by Innkeeper Carol and her staff, everything about our stay was enjoyable.

Beautifully set cape cod house with a very pretty dining room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and there was a lot of attention to detail with the brandy and chocolates laid out in the drawing room. Good piano too even if slightly out of tune!
