Felt like a party hotel. Needles by the dumpster. Overall, didn’t seem very clean. Fresh paint and new rugs would do wonders.

The hotel was good for the price. Additional perks are the swimming pools and jacuzzi (minus salt water). It has no kitchen and thus mostly serves ready to eat food. The boiled egg is a big draw and can finish early :-).

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time I was in a giant corner room, and for this trip I was in a regular sized room, but both times the rooms didn't feel cramped like other hotels I've stayed at. I had space to move around, and it felt comfortable. That being said, however, the only free outlet was right next to the TV and not next to the desk, which seemed strange to me. The plugs kept falling out too, so I had to lean something under the plug to have them stay in. My roommate and I searched around, but that was the only free outlet. I had to eventually unplug a lamp to get an outlet close enough to a desk (only other outlet). The rooms/doors were not very sound-proof, but most hotels aren't. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets are soft. The staff were helpful though, and I had a nice stay. Would have definitely liked more outlets, like one near the bed!

Complete dump! Stay away. Rooms were small, there is so much hair floating in the pool you felt like you were drowning in a fish net. Breakfast completely sucked. 4am the ceiling in the bathroom starting falling down because of the shower above us. It was raining from the ceiling! Dont waste your money, spend a little extra and go somewhere else.

Between the two pools, and walking distance to several local attractions and short driving distance to multiple local beaches, it is exactly what we were looking for. Additionally, very affordable for a family of 4. Very happy with our visit and if we are looking to come to the same area in the future, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Place is great and clean, wish the hallways weren’t so hot and had air conditioning. Pool was refreshing but had way too much chemicals to the point where your eyes hurt after.

The people here were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. It's conveniently located. There was a complimentary continental breakfast with a waffle maker. I had a hankering for eggs or sausage or something more substantial, so I was a little disappointed. There was an indoor pool that I did not take advantage of but it looks very nice. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Went summer 2017. Pool is filled with massive hair and a lot of chlorine to compensate. For the price there should be a better breakfast. Holiday inn has full breakfast: eggs, bacon, waffles, various more choices for the same price. The sauna was even working properly at the time. Not worth the price at all. Overcharge for area. Overcrowded in the summer. Don't get your monies worth. Better off with a Holiday inn or Comfort inn. Sense its Cape cod they mark up the roommates 10% all over but at this location its not worth what they charge. Im near the capital region of NY and they charge the same rate/ same price for nice clean pools and full breakfast buffets. End of review. Not worth the money.

Nice comfortable place, a little old in some places… But the room was well done, nice bath. The rooms are spread out in a type of quadrangle, with a nice indoor swimming pool in the middle. Friendly staff. There was a nice self serve breakfast buffet. Make your own waffles. There were also cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt and some fresh fruit. Conveniently located near many decent restaurants too.

Good place to sleep. If you have allergies it's not a good place. There are too many cleaning scents. It drove my nose crazy. The TV reception/cable is horrible.

Nice place, very clean rooms. Everything we needed was close by too! Only issue was the TV was very old and had no HDMI port. That was very inconvenient.

We were in town for Officer Gannon's funeral. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and The prices were affordable. The rooms are neat and clean and indoor pool certainly looked inviting. We'd love to return on a happier occasion.

Wi-Fi is very slow, hallways have strange odor. Was given keys to wrong room still being used.

Ambassador the rooms are big and then that's it.
Breakfast is very little provided. If you want sweet, well, there isn't.
Even in salty it's skinny.
We're going for the price only.
It is more a hotel for VRP than for holidaymaker.
The positive point is the welcome team which is pleasant and attentive.

I booked a room for my grandfather he was visiting, the pool was nice, game room, complementary continental breakfast, and free Wi-Fi. The rooms were sort of small but worked for what we needed, just a place to sleep.

This hotel is one that I stay at at least once or twice a year and I always return because it's very clean, has an indoor pool and jacuzzi, it's conveniently located and most of the year it's reasonably priced. This hotel offers you breakfast, has a small game room, has vending machines/an ice maker and even has a sauna. Staff at this hotel is pretty nice and accommodating. There really aren't any cons to this hotel; I would highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.

We stayed there in October for some cycling, so it was a convenient location for an easy drive to a parking lot where we could bike on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Also, there were several restaurant options within easy walking distance! The staff was pleasant and the check-in and check-out process was easy (had a Groupon). The continental breakfast was good; exactly what you would expect from a continental breakfast. The room was nice, some new-looking furniture but a little bit of a musty smell. Surprisingly, the TV reception was not great but not a deal-breaker for us. Overall, a very nice visit; I would stay here again!

Beds were very comfortable, like Goldie Locks comfortable, not too hard or too soft. Room was clean. Not a lot of room between toilet and the shower or it would have gotten a 5…

Good hotel for the price with included breakfast, the indoor pool water quality was questionable, but the outside pool was fine if only a tad small. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

We had a pleasant visit to Ambassador Inn and Suites. We had used a groupon special for our visit. The Inn is what you'd expect — rooms are moderate in size and were clean. Bathroom is small and there isn't a lot of places to put your wet towels or bathing suits. You also get sort of a mildewy smell with the wet clothing in the room. My kids loved both the indoor and outdoor pool. We'd stay again.

We stay here every summer,. They made some nice improvements to the pool and some of the rooms. It is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. And they are dog friendly!

Nice rooms, spacious and clean. Strong climate control, reliable Wi-Fi. Large fridge, in-room coffee maker, bathtub, ironing board. Indoor pool and hot tub are well maintained. Underwhelming breakfast service. Quiet at night.

To be honest I was a bit sceptical during the booking process and the slight rudeness I endured with ice makers interupting during a booking process… but once you get past that… our arrival was quite pleasant and our room was very clean, large and cozy… the rate was very fair and the pools are crystal clear… I was impressed that we were given maid service during our stay… we came back to emptied garbages and made beds and all our belongings were kept intact! Excellent experience… I can't wait to return!

Had a nice and relaxing stay here. Hotel is located on a main road with a bunch of stores/restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Amenities were good. We didn't use the pool (s) but family we were with used it almost every day we stayed. The free breakfast was a plus, was ok. Coffee, cold cereals, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit and a waffle maker. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They answered any questions we had, gave us directions and even drew it out on a map. We stayed in a pet friendly room, which was towards the back of the hotel. It was great, on the first floor, not too much noise and was close to the exit doors.

Great location! Beaches minigolf supermarket etc… great staff. Ive been going to Cape Cod for over 30 yrs and this is the best place for your $. Thank you Peter and your wonderful family.

Pool and hot tub is Amazing the rooms are not the grates the bathrooms are small the tubs are small the beds in the rooms are not that comfortable if anyone loves there sleep at night! The walls in the rooms are very thin you can here others people walking around. Its a ok hotel.

Overall I was pleased. Room clean. Breakfast good. Pools very enjoyable. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the TV listing said the got ESPN but it didn't work and we wanted to watch the home run derby and all star game.

I had a very pleasant stay. The place was clean, I slept comfortable. My kids enjoyed themselves at the pool. The receptionist Patricia was pleasant. I can honestly say I've enjoyed my time and the service here, more than some of the higher end chain hotels that I have stayed at on the cape. To top it off I left an expensive watch behind and the staff was honest enough to turn it in, to me that was a plus.

The Inn is a bit dated and our room smelled bad. The beds were small and not comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice. I like that the pool had a 9ft deep end. There were a lot of pool rules and since the pool is right next to the front desk they watch it and if you break any of them they will come in and speak to you. No jumping or diving into the pool even though the deep end is 9ft. No kids under 16 in the hot tub. The breakfast was ok… the waffles that you can make were tasty but the juice in their juice machine tasted gross. We had a groupon deal to stay here so it was pretty cheap, about $60 for the night but I probably wouldn't go back or pay anything more than that.

As expected with no problem. Had accessible amenities like a indoor pool and a sauna but I didn't use them and can't comment.

1 room with a queen and a full size bed was really a "single" sized room where the "full" bed was a swing — down Murphy bed. Way too cramped and not appropriate for two beds. Impossible to use desk when bed was set up. Room was dirty — actually found garbage on floor. A/C was undersized, cooling just one half of the room — other half remained stale and stagnant. Room was short a pillow. TV coax wasn't connected to a jack — sure it's trivial but it's one more thing. Toilet was misconnected to the *hot* water feed?!?!? I do not understand how this could be considered "AAA Approved".

Small "double" beds, full size, although I made a reservation for 3 adults and paid extra. And the room smells like mold and dust.

Awful hotel! I booked a one night stay here so I could enjoy the Cape Cod St. Patty's Day Parade. The building looks nice enough on the outside but inside is another story. When we got to the room I went to use the bathroom. The shower was filthy and the toilet was not working well. Later in the afternoon it was not flushing at all. I went to the desk and the an there asked if I wanted a plunger to unclog the toilet myself. I told him no and requested someone come up and look at it. It was well over 40 minutes later when the same man called up to the room to ask if we still needed him (yes), he came up and used the plunger and left several minutes later. The toilet still was not working properly. While we watched TV the reception wasn't great and the stations were fuzzy. The walls are super thin and kids were running up and down the hall slamming doors. When we tried to go to bed the sheets had stains on them. Needless to say we left that night before even attempting to sleep and drove the hour and a half home. When I checkout they didn't even ask why we were leaving.

I would certainly go back to this hotel. I usually am very worried about going to a hotel if no one I know has stayed there before, so I completely rely on reviews. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and decent size. The bathrooms are small but clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the mini fridge was great. The one negative thing I could say about this place was that the hallways are not air conditioned. Not a big deal, but on hot muggy weekends, it gets quite roasty. Again, not a deal breaker, just a caution. The price was decent for prime season on the cape. Overall, would certainly go back there.

Jeff-November 6, 2011 We found this hotel to be clean, the beds were very comfortable, well the cons are the walls are paper thin, don't stay in the rooms near the stairs you can hear when people are going up and down. Make sure you check your statement they charge $1.68 for safe use so make sure its not on your bill. Even if you were not using it.

We stayed for 5 nights over Christmas 2007. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond Member but had to stay here as there are no Hiltons on the Cape. I LOVED IT! The room was clean and fresh and alot of work has been put into this hotel. Everything was new, including the beds, the linens, carpeting. The room was clean and fresh and the staff were excellent. They were friendly, professional and very interested in making sure we had a great stay. Housekeeping were awesome. I have read the bad reviews and I have to say this is a totally different experience to what we had. I am very fussy when it comes to hotel rooms. I could not fault the cleanliness of this hotel. It will be my First Choice every time I visit the Cape. Breakfast is included every morning and we had a mini fridge in our room. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.
