The best place to stay in Hammond.

Great experience as always. MetA little disappointed in the no upgrade for king room for a coorperate customer with a hotel half full at best. But still a great place to stay.

Recently attended a pageant at the facility. The staff was very friendly and accommodating even though we were not guest. The young man working the front desk should us to our location.

He book a two queen size beds online. When we arrived we received a one king size bed and a sleeper sofa. They wasn't friendly at all. Make sure you call to make sure book the right room. Good luck.

Loved it, Awesome all the way round. And also love the way the elevator stayed open. OMG them grits was everything the eggs fantastic the breakfast that bacon was top-notch that was a simple but wonderful breakfast I can't stop talking about the Grits Can't Nobody Do grits like Louisiana and I'm from Michigan and I was here for the Strawberry Festival.

Currently undergoing some construction. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful — the check-in process went quickly and smooth. There is plenty of parking in the outside lot. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor.

Wonderful staff! From the initial phone call to the stay, they were 5 star! Even when I asked for something like change for $100, they went out of their way to help. Hotel is under construction, but this did not effect the cleanliness or peaceful stay. Great room, location and customer service! Great job!

Everything was great about this hotel, but there is some noise from the nearby train track. The fridge and microwave are very convenient, and the fridge is left empty so it is actually useful, unlike some hotels which have the minibar.

Good location near interstate and food. Both the standard room and suite had mine fridge and microwave. Housekeeping was fast and friendly when supplies were needed. Restaurant and bar in the hotel. Most things nice. Elevator signs had won't Mont for specials. No lemon water sitting out when I went neck for it. Polyester and Heather pillows in the rooms. Comfortable beds, good temperature control. Second visit and will stay again.

Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were in good shape. There was an issue getting the keys for one of our rooms programmed correctly.

This place is horrible. The management is rude and clueless. The employees are not warm or friendly. The food in the restaurant is horrible and and inconsistent. Bottom line this place is a hostile and unprofessional environment. You need to overhaul your whole management team. But hey good day and be blessed.

This place is horrible. I've been to motel 6's better than this. The employees are rude the management of this company is clearly local and incompetent. The food, service and restaurant is lackluster. The location sucks. I rather stay at the 5 and dime than here any day. Just letting people know the truth about this horrible place. For your information people about town talk about your establishment. If you can't take it don't put yourself out there. God bless. Good day.

Good quality room. When moved rooms, my identification wasn't checked. The receptionist just swapped keys with no questions or verification.

Quiet, CLEAN, comfortable, staff was ready able and helpful, also most certainly hospitable in all areas of lodging.

Overall a great place. The only two negative things are the hallways have some flooring issues and the breakfast takes forever to get. Plan on a very leisurely… eating experience. With that being said the front desk staff was awesome and the meeting space excellent!

Had a leadershup workshop in the st. Charles room. There was a gas leak that was fixed. Place was beautiful.

Expert service! During snowmaggedon dec 8, 2017 the staff Truly served. There was a mass power outtage in the area. They managed to take care of everything. With the power outtage the elevators were inaccessible. Even the maids/cleaning service escorted us through the stairway with flashlights. The staff was ever so kind. I think the bellhop or maintenance man even came out to our car and went out of his way to help us scrape all the snow off the car. Tried to tip him, he wouldnt accept it. Smiled and wished us well on our journey. The bartender was fantastic too. Even with the power out, below freezing temperatures, and the heavy snow this staff displayed Louisiana hospitality and then some. Cant wait to stay again.

Awesome Hotel! The price was very reasonable. The employees were real friendly. The rooms were super clean and spacious. They gave my husband and I a phenomenal military discount! We would absolutely stay there again. :-)

The hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and tried to accommodate all needs. We had come in at night and I had requested extra K-Cups for the room so I could have decaf coffee. There was only one K-Cup in our room. The person at the front desk, Christina did not have access to additional K-Cups for the room but offered to make decaf coffee in a carafe. That was very sweet of her and she did make it. When I returned to get a cup from the lobby Christina had already left however she did inform the person who was taking over that I would be coming down to get some coffee. So she went the extra mile. The room we had was very nice, comfortable, and clean.

The service was off the chain. Everything was on point and I had the best waitress that made sure everything was good. Thank you very much.

Great service. They booked me last minute and I was much cheaper than trivago. The bathroom wasn't immaculate but it was great pricing, so I can't complain.

Very nice hotel. The service is good and the beds are perfect! Great location. Near everything. All kinds of shopping, eating and even pharmacies. Everything you want and need near by. Only thing is the mildew smell. Could be from the pool… but bothers me.

I had to lift up the back lid to flush the toilet. Very hard to flush. Bed sheets were extremely rough like they were very old. The receptionist in the evening when we checked in was extremely nice and professional. In general everything seem to be neat and in order.

Checked in an a Monday and after a slight delay… I got a nice clean fresh room. Ample towels and pillows were present along with coffee, a fridge and microwave. Nice friendly staff too.

Great service & more than adequate meeting rooms. The largest meeting rooms out of all the hotels in the area.

Breakfast came out very slowly, everything else was satisfactory.

My mom and I are displaced from flood and had to stay in a hotel due to extremely bad weather. Booked holiday inn due to info I was given over Internet and thinking I was confirming rates etc. However, when checking out a day early thinking I'd be saving money I was told rate I was given is per day when I was of the belief that was total of the 2 night stay. Due to losing everything in flood money is very tight so this was very noticeably upsetting to me. I was told they would talk to manager and see what could be done due to my situation. Last answer I got from a very friendly girl that was only doing her job was that manager said it was their policy and that once card billed there is nothing they could do. Anyone that has owned business' know that is not a true statement. I would also like to say this is the first bad review I've ever given cause I can find happiness in the worse situations but none here. I am now packing to leave. Very sad and disappointed! And I have to tell my mother that money I told her was for two nights is actually what we have to come up with for just one.

Very disappointed. Bath soap bar was miniscule. No tea or hot water in the lobby. Smelled like mold on our floor. Given a handicapped room with a shower head that only worked if you were handicapping. No free breakfast.

Refused to give my son a room because he is not 21. He was driving back to his base in Fort Hood Texas. It's a 13 hour drive from home and he was exhausted but hotel refused to allow him to pay for a room. My son is in the Army and was home for holidays for first time in 2016 since he was deployed to Korea all of the year. Apparently my son can die for his country but this hotel required him to be 21 to pay for a bed to sleep in. Good job Hammond you have greatly disappointed this tired worried mom.

Everyone was nice but the cleaning people. We stayed here for six nights and we only received fresh towels twice and we had to call for that. It's not like we asked them to make up our beds because we didn't want them to be tired but it's like they always skipped our room or just picked up dirty towels and never came back. Didn't like it.

For a wedding. Everything was fine.
