Nice rooms. Very clean. Comfortable bed and nice sheets. Has truck parking also. Would definitely recommend it. Will be staying here again.

This is a very nice and affordable CLEAN place. It was our second attempt at a hotel in Hammond and our last. The rooms are updated with a fridge and microwave. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone passing through!

Really really decent place at a good price the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable I didn't expect it to be this nice for the price, and the people were very friendly. I gave it 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. It comes across the owners and the people that work here put a lot of love and care into this place.

Great room for truckers, got secured parking for your truck, & the inside of the rooms definitely are very nice, nice wood floors, & tile. Nice TV, bed a lil squeaky but comfortable & clean! The entire room very clean! Only issue I had was the toilet didn't have any flushing power. Staff very friendly, small free breakfast, free ice, able to drop trailer to bobtail into town & not worry about your trailer. Great price & definitely will recommend & be back. Oh yea free strong Wi-Fi too.

Clean comfortable well appionted rooms. Only issue, a truck stop across the street. Noisy. Ask for a room on the back side of the motel.

This Hotel may be older, but the inside is nice. They take pets too! I would stay again. They have Wi-Fi that works and cold breakfast. Just be ready for a lot of trucks. But no one bothers you. Clean and friendly.

Tina, in the front desk is a sweetheart. She always has a smile on her face and is always ready to help. I stay there frequently since I am a truck driver. Their truck parking is the best in Hammond. This place is very affordable, neat and clean. I would suggest this place to everybody if you need a place to stay in Hammond.

It’s perfect! Right off I12. Immaculate! friendly. Very very accommodating. And only $10 per pet. Will definitely just skip the surrounding hotels, avoid the stay in Baton Rouge, and come here again.

It was a fine place to stay. Older building and didn't have many of plugs.

The room was very clean. We requested a smoking room and it wasn't punch you in the face smelly like usual. The floors are very nice. The bed however is pretty hard but still sleepable. The front desk was very kind. All in all a great stop in a long trip.

They were clean and friendly for the most part. The shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. The TV's worked and had cable. They are conveniently located by the interstate. They have good come machines that didn't take my money. The snack machine was lovely. The rooms weren't over priced. I just loved staying there.

Hay I don't have a review but I need help. I am a single mother I left my man because I couldn't take the emotional abuse any longer and I need a place to stay. Is it possible that I can have a room for me and my 6 year old so he can continue to go to school and I can maybe work at y'all hotel for the room? I don't have family or anybody I could go to. I am staying in my car that's not a situation I want my child be in.

These thieves have their own rules for dealing with customers. Never stay here, or be ready to pay for extra charges that don’t make sense.

I booked directly on the website and when I checked in for the evening, my reservation was nowhere to be found. The only reason why I didn’t go down the street to another hotel was because I had been tired of driving all day for 8 hrs. I’m not picky, I just needed a place to crash. Trying to make this as hassle free as possible, I was charged MORE than what I had booked — of course. The bed was stiffer than the hardwood floor if that was possible. No thanks, never again.

Very nice, but short stay at the Colonial Inn. Clean room, homey little garden out back, wonderful breakfast, and welcomed, peaceful rest! All at an affordable price for the traveler!

Truck stop directly next door made it easy to get things that we needed without going very far!

The most important thing for me that I liked … was that the room is very clean.

I recommended this hotel to a friend of mine that needed a decent place to stay while traveling through Hammond La. The stay was not very comfortable and when he left they accused him of stealing a blanket. No one, I repeat no one would steal a thin not very comfortable blanket from this hotel. They charged him for the blanket. He called and they were rude to him saying he stole the blanket. Its sad for this hotel to charge someone for something they did not do. They were very rude to him saying that they are trying to earn a decent living coming to the us and people like him just steal. Again he did not steal anything. Hotel employees are rude and they are the thieves trying to make extra money by being liars. Such a sad situation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is such a great deal. Beds are great. A bit out of the way bit it is worth it.

I got a room here for my birthday. I didn't make it back from the party I went to until about 3am. At 6am I woke up itching and discovered bites all over my legs, chest, thighs, and more places. I went to the front desk and the boy at the desk said they didn't have anymore rooms available I had to wait for a manager… So I wait n go show the manager all the pictures so she calls her husband (the head manager) and he claims I brought bugs to hit hotel, I got the pictures off the internet, just anything to take the blame off their hotel (I guess you get what you pay for lol). I asked him was there a 1800 number or something I can call he lied and said no. I asked did they have a Facebook he lied and said no. When I told him I was goin to do a review on the hotel he started yellin at me from behind the counter and said he was calling the police I'm the one bit up so I don't understand why he was so mad but I wouldn't stay here again. Customer service is horrible, him and his wife are very rude. And although I did not SEE a bed bug with my own eyes (idk what they look like, I don't live like that lol), I didn't have bites all over me before I laid in their bed and went to sleep so it leads me to believe they have a bed bug problem. And it's only gonna get worse if they keep blaming the customers and not taking responsibility. I wasn't even rude with the people, I just asked for another room. They said I have no proof.

My husband and I drive otr. We were down for the weekend so we decided to get a room and get out of the truck. These people are great. Really clean room, guest laundry, good Wi-Fi, truck parking and pet friendly. The rates are very reasonable and they gave us a 25% discount on the third night. We will come back next time we're in the area.

Not the most convenient to get into/out of, decent rooms, good price.

Good place for a driver to stay. Friendly people, good rooms with a 39in faltscreen hdtv with plenty of cable channels including HBO. Microwave and fridge, all for $61 inc tax. Had a relaxing weekend here. If you are broke down at the Big Wheel shop, a taxi ride here is cheap, just call Quality Choice Transportation.

For that money I can say is ok to stay there,

My husband and I are truck drivers and we planned to go to the pilot right across the road from the motel. The pilot parking was full so we decided to treat ourselves one night to a motel room instead of sleeping in our truck. The room was priced good at 61.00 with tax. The room was super clean and the bathroom was decorated nice and was very clean. It had a nice size TV microwave and fridge. But most of all the guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful he even came out side to show my husband where we could park our truck safely and for free. Good people running this place and nice motel room.

If you check in earlier than 1:00 they make you leave at 9:30 that night and will call the cops if you don't saying that you only paid for 12 hours but never explaining that when you check in.

Clean nice rooms. Pet and truck friendly. Close to food and other amenities.

Koni, my black Labrador retriever found this place online. They are pet friendly. She loaded my boat up and drove me to the hotel checked me in and helped me to my room. The people didn't even question her identity because she paid cash …

"Continental breakfast" means hot coffee and cold cereal. Room seemed clean but carpet was filthy-wash your feet before you put your shoes on. No Kleenex-use toilet paper. When you get your key they give you the remote to your TV. Fine for a quick 1-night stay, but it's only the basics. Staff was very friendly.

Made a simple vacation AMAZING! I have never stayed in a hotel that matches this Colonial Inn! We felt so at home here. The room was medium size and immaculate and the staff was so accommodating. In particular, Housekeeping and front desk were wonderful. They were each so friendly and quick to make sure we were comfortable at all times. The hotel location is within easy walking distance. We will never stay anywhere else when we come to Hammond, LA.

A great hotel, a great price, it's everything you need in a place to stay the night. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Anything we asked for they were eager to provide. Would recommend this to anyone.
