King suite with bunks is super! Large area for the family! Great rate! Housekeeping very nice and did a great job. Disliked 2 things. One was the coffee is blah and they need wraps for the cups. Cups are way to hot. Two the pillows are to small. They’re soft but flat and small. Otherwise great hotel, good view. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!

I recently stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Appleton, Wisconsin. Maybe I have just gotten used to staying at second rate hotels, but I was really impressed by this location. Check in was a breeze and the front desk was knowledgeable and friendly. My room was great. The beds were comfy. Everything was super clean. One of my favorite elements, they had a TV in the bathroom! I have never seen that before, outside of a luxury resort in Mexico. The place was quiet and located a couple quick turns from a mall which is incredibly convenient and also half a mile from the highway entrance, which is very convenient. Most hotels are similar, but this one in particular did a great job with the details. Big picture window with a stylish window shade that kept the sun out but still allowed you to check out the view (I was right above a duck pond! ). Heavy doors the felt fortified, like I was in a castle, refrigerator, like I said, it’s the details. It’s nice to stay at a place that feels better than home.

Room was nice. Needed some updating and the heater didn’t really work very well. Had it turned up to 80 and it was still freezing in the room. But people were very nice and bed was comfortable perfect for a little getaway.

The manager on duty was incredibly helpful with a quick and easy check in. She laid out several things to do in the hotel and stuff near by and immediately made me feel at home. The room was well cleaned when I arrived and smelled great. There was a card there letting me know that I could decide how often I wanted the sheets cleaned to help with the environment which I was also super into. The Wi-Fi worked well and there was a good sized TV with a fridge and a microwave. I didn't hear the guests in the other rooms at all which can be a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Firstly, when pulling up to the building, structure itself is beautiful. Reminds me of elegant farmhouse. The inside is just as nice and the service is great too. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the amenities are awesome. Including the indoor pool area! Overall, very pleased with this choice and would come back in a heartbeat for future visits.

Stayed here for one night after a wedding. It was a fine place with decent beds and ample complimentary towels and other amenities. Continental breakfast ended earlier than other hotels (10am) and checkout was a bit early, as well (11am). All of this is fine because the hotel is a good value, except that we discovered an ant in one of the beds just as we were getting ready to lay down. It was only one, and we didn't have any other issues, but generally my minimum expectation for a hotel is ZERO bugs.

This was great for our young family. Swimming pool was nice and big (has a deep end) and hot tub was also roomy. Standard continental breakfast in large room overlooking man-made (? ) pond. Our room was very large and tidy, all the extras we required we're immediately available, they even have a small "general store" off the lobby. Walking distance to baseball stadium. We'd certainly stay here again.

Comfortable rooms, family suite was comfortable for our family of five. The kids loved having their own space. Pool was clean and the kids had fun splashing around. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was filling!

Horrible experience! We were supposed to stay the night with our girls and friends for her birthday tonight, well we are home. First when we got there to check in our room wasn't ready. Alright but we were told 30 minutes, came back 40 minutes later to housekeeping in our room and waiting another 15 minutes. Then after being in our room for 2 hours gone swimming for 1.5, my husband got bit by something on the foot. Looked down and there were TONS of ants on the floor next to the bed, by the night stand and on the bed! walked right up front and they didn't have an open room. Well we weren't staying In that one so we are waiting to get refunded since the lady at the front was new and didn't know how. So they better be giving a FULL refund! must also add the broken window.

Basic amenities. Pool area is nice. Breakfast lounge area very nice offering a good breakfast selection. Polite and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good location offers many close points of interest. Will stay at this hotel again next visit to the area.

Great room. Breakfast could be better. My 'toast' was well done on one side. I tried to put my 1st piece through to toast the other side and it caught on fire. I don't recommend that. Lol.

Excellent hotel. We stopped here for the first time on the way home from a very long trip with multiple stops and this was by far the best on our stop. The pricing for the quality of the room was perfect, but it was during their off-season. I would stay again, provided I can get in at the right time of year.

Had a difficult time getting into the first room I was issued. Dusk Personnel were extremely friendly and helpful actually came down to the room to do the room key themselves, and could not get in either. So they upgraded me to a different room which ended up being a sweet got me into my room very professional smiling welcoming. And made a stressful situation of traveling very relaxing and my stay was extremely Pleasant and the price was awesome.

I was a little disappointed first I took my kids to the pool and found out the hot tub was closed because the chemicals were not right. Then I get them showered and try to make some microwave popcorn when the microwave overheats so I have to go back down to the front desk to have them heat it. Not bad overall but somewhat disappointed I usually stay at a different hotel in the area when I come to visit but thought I would give this one a try. Next time I will just stick with the other one that I usually take my family to.

Location was excellent! There are many great places to eat and drink within walking distance. Our wedding reception was at the Wisconsin Timber Rattler Stadium, and Jason and the fantastic staff made sure our guests arrived safe and happy! Customer service was fantastic, and the hotel is clean and spacious. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Wyndham by Wingate.

Overall this hotel and atmosphere is between 4 and 4.25. The staff is always friendly, and efficient with check-in/out… Pool/hot tub nice and the breakfast is SOLID… With that being said the only thing that brings them down a bit is the limited options w/ breakfast. I know they try hard to prepare hot foods (eggs, or breakfast meats) but I noticed how they prepared the eggs and refuse to eat them now… lets leave it at that!

Great place to stay. Spacious main areas and rooms. They offered many delicious options at breakfast, which was included with the stay. The workout room was also spacious and stocked with equipment that was in go od condition. I would recommend staying here.

This place was amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was huge and they have a TV in the bathroom. This is my new favorite place to stay.

The executive suite wasn't what we had expected. My mom and dad booked the room so me, my brother, my sister, and my boyfriend could all be in the same room. Well our age ranges go from 13-22 and the extra room in the executive sweet seemed like it was meant for kids between the ages of 3-9 with small Dora comforters and very colorful flooring. The room itself was quite small luckily we were only there for a couple of nights, an extended stay would not have been ideal. The bathroom was quite large which was nice.

Always a nice little getaway, go there once or twice a year since it was a settle in and Ramada, now a Wingate. The room is spacious, and better yet, there is a separate half of the room with a hot tub and fireplace… For $135! And the lady that works downstairs in the mornings for breakfast, her name is Carolyn​, one of the sweetest and kind hearted people imaginable. Look forward to seeing her every visit as well.

Overall the hotel is quite nice. But the room is not really clean. While checking for bed bugs noticed under the head of the box spring is filthy with old hair and dust. There's also a red stain on the carpet near the night stand. Bottom sheets do not fit properly. Although, the sheets were very clean looking. The bathroom floor is filthy and stained. Our Tv does not work in the bathroom. There's no bathroom fan. Additionally the shower wall interior needs repair. Barely slept as there were children jumping and slamming doors very early right above us for a long period of time. Even though the hotel is nearly empty. For some reason they put everyone on top of each other. This fact does not make sense at all. It would have been proactive to spread out the rooms more. I'm not sure if I will stay again as sleep and cleanliness are 2 of my priorities. The location is great though and the hot tub is nice but small.

The room was so spacious. It smelled freshly cleaned and was well stocked. We stayed in a king suite with the fireplace and hot tub and it was so wonderful! I loved the double blinds in the windows to shut out the lights from outside. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice room! We stayed in the king suite and had a view of the pond. Totally hilarious and awesome that there was a TV in the bathroom! Definitely a plus! The location was great and extremely close to just about every restaurant and store you could think of, as well as the highway. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was great very good location for dining shopping and more. The staff was courteous and the amenities at the hotel great. I would absolutely stay again.

Very clean hotel. Nice water pressure and friendly staff. They had office equipment so I could print some documents, but the printer was broken. They offered to print my documents behind the desk which was very appreciated. Overall I would stay there again. Breakfast was just o. K. But kind of standard for continental/hot.

We enjoyed the size of the room. All staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice with lots to choose from. The pool has plenty of room to swim in but window sills need cleaning and something was spilt on the handle of the door to go out side to. Over all good value for the price of the stay.

Was awesome motel beautiful. We had our 40th Anniversary today March 5th and spent it there. Stayed Saturday night. Pool was woundfull and hot tub. And bed was very comfortable. And breakfast outstanding. Would definitely stay again. We are from upper Michigan. Booked on line. Thanks for an awesome Anniversary celebration… Will definitely be back.

Very nice, clean, well maintained hotel. The room size was very nice and the bathroom was quite spacious as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bed was uncomfortable and starting to sag in the middle. It wasn't so bad that I'd rule it out for another stay, but it could definitely use replacing. Overall, it's definitely a very nice place to stay.

The hotel was clean and nice. I do wish they had complimentary body wash and lotion though. But other then that it was a very good experience.

I loved the free upgrade. The room was very clean. However, the bed was worn in, and I rolled into a rut. Also, I wish they had both pillows for side sleepers and back sleepers and not just the back sleepers. My fridge, while it worked, was loud. I mentioned it to thr front desk guy, and he took note. The staff here is very nice.

I was in town from Chicago for a roller derby bout. We stayed one night and had a great time. They have very spacious rooms, attentive and plow staff and wonderful amenities. The pool was very clean and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Breakfast was very good and the whole place is beautiful. I would highly recommend staying there and I will stay there again if I'm in the area.

The kids and myself absolutely loved staying here. Everyone was so nice and helpful, everything was clean, peaceful and a good breakfast. Definitely will stay here again.

Room was clean, and king size bed was very comfortable. Hotel has many green policies in place which guest may choose to follow or ignore at the guest's choice. Room heater was very noisy, and would switch on throughout the night. Random spotting on carpet (that did not interfere with my stay). Breakfast was basic and what is to be expected at a hotel, but was not noteworthy. The toilet does a great job of flushing large, ehrm, well, poops. 4 of 5 stars.

We stayed at the Wingate by Wynham, Appleton, WI with our family and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is newly updated with very clean, comfortable rooms. We had breakfast and they have a great variety of items that the kids enjoyed also. The pool is just beautiful and was so relaxing. It is close to Fox River Mall, Fox Cities Stadium and only 3 miles from the Outagamie County Regional Airport. We will definitely come back to enjoy this hotel again in the future!

I've stayed here a number of times on visits to Lawrence University. The value is great, the pool and hot tub are warm and clean. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are very welcoming. Breakfast is good.

This was our 1st time staying there on there 2/21/15, the hotel was great, very clean, large rooms, and TV's in the bathroom, never saw that before, I thought that was pretty cool, Price was very reasonable, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
