The hotel is okay. The rooms are basic. Everything seemed decently clean except for the fridge. There was a quart of ice cream in the freezer that was melting into the fridge. Not sure how this was missed when cleaning the room. Otherwise the breakfast was decent. Nothing special. If you're just looking for a bed, this place is okay.

If I could leave a negative star review I would. Over the Father's day weekend I booked a room Friday to Monday on Priceline. Prepaid the room. Packed the family up and drove up to Appleton from Milwaukee to spend time with friends and family. Upon arrival at this location, I proceeded to the check in counter. The employee asked to have my credit card so he can take a copy of it. I refused. I said you are not taking a photocopy of my card. He said it was policy. I know it is not policy as I have stayed in the area at other Wyndham hotels and they just need to swipe it not take a copy of it. After a few minutes of a little heated disagreement, I asked to speak to the manager. He replied he was the manager which was a lie. This man is Pakistani or Indian and the manager, whom took my room request once my reservation cleared was a white guy named Gary. So lonG story short the employee called the cops on me and had me removed from the premises and refused to refund my moneys I had paid for the room. As did Priceline. Wyndham also refused to intervene on my behalf. Everyone said their sorry but no one did anything to fix the situation. So weekend ruined. Ended up turning around and going back home. Do not stay here. Family friend also told me that the office gets robbed/broken into quite frequently and things get stolen. If I would have allowed a copy of my card to be taken wonder what would have been ordered on my card next time. No thank you.

Great room for the price. The room was small but had fair amount of storage and places where you could tuck away bags to keep them out of the way. Room was clean, but sheets had a couple of stains. Decent breakfast for continental.

Nice and clean. They offer basic amenities such as coffee, tea, breakfast, fitness center, laundry room, and 24 hr hot tub. The rooms are suitable for a 1-2 night stay. The staff didn't really seem pleased to be there and could use more training in hospitality, but I wasn't unsatisfied with my stay. It's suitable for business clients just wanting a bed to sleep in for a night.

Small rooms but for 1 or 2 people if you're not spending all your time in the room it's just fine. Clean and has what I needed. Breakfast was actually really good for standard free breakfast.

The rooms were small but cute, it got a little loud at night and early morning and the lack of pool was a little sad. But was made up for with the whirlpool. Bedding and towels and such were sub-par but not horrible. The waffles from breakfast were delicious.

Located near gas stations and fast food joints, Microtel is a nice hotel. Clean and good service, they also have a breakfast with a lot of cold and hot choices. Would stay there again.

I stay in hotels often, as I frequently travel for work. This place is one of my favorites. Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. I will always stay here, when I'm in Appleton.

Very clean hotel. Comfortable beds with a good amount of channels on cable. The front desk is always super helpful. Breakfast is decent, they have more than the bare minimumfor continental.

Staff was phenomenal and very nice and attentive. The rooms were clean, and cleaned up very well during the day by housekeeping. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

The manager was on top of everything. Always working on the floor and making sure everything was taking care of. I can’t be more pleased with the service. Toilet got clogged and was unclogged 5 minute after services request. Bed sheets changed every day of my stay. If you don’t need a big hotel with all this never use feature, because you are going to be out and about! stay here. “Was a family feel like” we will be back. Can’t beat the price with hot tub include.

The rooms are very nice and well setup and decorated. They have a hot tub that is open 24 hrs a day also. As well as free breakfast. Besides being misinformed about getting my rewards points for my free stay by the hotel I enjoyed my stay here.

The hot tub area was needed cleaned. The floors and the spa were very dirty and there were tiles missing on the wall. A pest control employee walked into our room about an hour after we checked in, he didn't knock, just opened the door. The floors are so thin that whoever was staying above us, sounded like they were about to come through the ceiling every time they took a step. When I went to use the blow-dryer, it had no cover on the front where the air comes out. Someone's hair could easily get caught in there. I didn't use it. The comforter was very thin, I had to request a second blanket. The housekeeping and front desk staff were very nice.

Nice clean room. Lots of movie channels. Friendly employees. The continental breakfast was one of the best I have ever seen or tasted; eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, juice, cereal and more, plus great tasting coffee.

It's a great place to stay overnight. Service are very eco-friendly. Great breakfast. Very clean atmosphere, non smoking, awesome hot tub, fox valley mall just right around the corner and lots of view to be seen. Perfect place in the right spot.

I don’t even know where to begin. I am in the military and had to be in Appleton this weekend. I booked my room two weeks ago and received a confirmation email. Upon arriving to the hotel, they first told me I did not have a reservation (which I had the email to prove I did). Once they realized they were wrong, they began to check me in and asked for my ID and credit card. I handed them to the women at the counter who didn’t speak a lick of English and was writing out questions for me. She then wrote that I was not 25 years old so I could not stay there (I am 23). I said that that was ridiculous and showed her on the website that you must be 18 or older to book a room. She still said no. Trust me, it wasn’t like I wanted to stay there. It smelled like weed and was not clean, but I had just driven four hours to get there and was exhausted. Plus she had already ran my credit card. She still denied me a room and said your purchase will be refunded in the morning. Me being pissed, I stood by the door telling everyone that walked in the story of what just happened and they began losing business. Finally, the woman came over, handed me a key and said my stay would be free. I took the key, went up to my room which let’s just say was something unacceptable. It was not clean, the window was open and wouldn’t shut and it is currently — 7 degrees, it had bedbugs, and also reeked of weed.

I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with my stay, I have been here two hours and already want to leave! Upon arriving with my brother on business I greeted the guest service representative because she did not greet us at all. She talked very quietly without looking at us most of the time and I had to keep asking her to repeat. It seemed like we weren't a priority or she just didn't think to tell us. She did not supply us with the internet code or really explain anything to us. She also had a baby bottle of what appeared to be breast milk next to her soda on the counter along with a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. This shocked me and was not something I have ever seen when checking in at a hotel. In my brother's room the toilet paper CLEARLY wasn't changed, there’s a brown stain on his comforter (EW), a long hair in his shower, red stains on the wall, his day bed has no cover or pillow like my room, in mine the comment card was beat up and torn, the pen supplied by the hotel was chewed on a lot with no cap and the stairway reeked of cigarette smoke like someone had been smoking in the hotel. The chewed pen in the room is a HUGE health hazard and disgusting. While sitting on my bed I can hear CLEARLY what everyone is saying/doing/watching in the hallway and the surrounding rooms. There is no privacy. My brother and I have separate rooms and both are completely UNACCEPTABLE. We are both VERY upset and are leaving in the morning.

The room was clean and didn't smell. Needs to be remodeled soon. Price was reasonable. I would stay again.

Room was a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable. Check-in was slow, needed to wait for someone to come to the counter. Otherwise very nice for the price.

I booked a suit in this hotel on Dec 31. When I checked in, my room was already given to another person. When I try to enter that room, someone else was IN the room! I went back to the front desk, she refused to give me another room, although the hotel was almost empty. She simply asked me to leave, or else she threatenned me to call the police. I told her that's exactly what I want, then, she changed her mind and gave me another room. The whole thing is because she wanted to cover her mistake of giving my room to another person.

Where to start. Well the night staff was something else. We walked though the lobby and they were openly talking about prostitution, drugs and someone getting robbed (it sounded like something was happening there and you would think they would not talk about that in front of guests). The lobby also smelled of weed. When we got to the room we noticed you can hear everyone around you. If the person above you flushed there toilet (also very under powered and struggled to flush) you can hear it right next to you as you lay in bed. The only thing the TV could do is play one channel. The Wi-Fi was also spotty and buffered a lot. Our window was also missing a screen and it appeared there was burn marks on the window seat. Also when we got up in the morning there was small black droppings on the desk (I'm sure you can guess what they could have came from). The only positives was that the AM front desk staff was nice, the bed was okay, there was nice hot water, and the cops that came to the hotel were very nice.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, microwave, fridge, great water pressure, whirlpool, gym, guest laundry, adequate breakfast including eggs and sausage. Friendly staff. Close to highway and restaurants. Definitely must try the Machine Shed restaurant across the way for a great meal too.

Staff was great. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted. Room was great. AC kept room nice and cool, but I was actually cold with the provided blankets. Still great stay and value.

We stayed here a month ago July 18 in a handicapped room because of a procedure we had done at the hospital. I had a sick person with me and needed to rest. That is why we made this ahead of time. No problems at all. Easy access to the room from the side door that locked. We were very pleased with our stay. — — — — but we stayed a moth later and it was alot different. We got the same room. The toilet seat was wiggling all over and there was poop underneath the toilet seat towards the back. We had someone come down to tighten it and he did the best he could and he said can't do know more it is plastic. I was very displeased. We tried to get in through the side door, but it was locked and no way to get in without going all the way around. They said that the way it was. We paid for 2 on line but wanted to pay for 4 people instead for the room. He said no you don't like this you don't like that. GET OUT! I said what? HE SAID GET OUT! GET OUT! I asked for a refund oh yes refund will be given. I came back and asked him to sign it. He signed it Bobby the manager of the motel. He was the same person that came to try to tighten the toilet seat. The same person the yelled GET OUT! GET OUT! When I saw he was the manager I said to him this is the way you treat your customers. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will leave a terrible review because I do not want anyone to be treated like this again. Thanks for reading.

It's located close to the fox river mall. Pretty much near any shopping and type of food you want to eat. Great spot. It's very clean and accommodating, it was updated recently from what I read and it looks great! Affordable price, not to mention let friendly. $20 extra pet fee which isn't bad at all, they don't have a size limit listed like other hotels. Staff was friendly as well. Didn't wake up for breakfast in time.

Very clean, the rooms are amazing. 24 hour spa is wonderful. The continental breakfast has many different options. Only issue I had was the pillows.

Very tiny but very clean & comfortable. First impression, what the heck it's tiny! : — (hence "micro" room was clean. Smelled fresh at all times for being a pet friendly hotel (which I LOVE) THE beds are very comfortable and bedding and is extremely clean. To my surprise we had a fride and microwave for our popcorn. Spa was tiny. But romantic because it was our anniversary weekend so it was the 2 of us. I would stay again. For a short visit. Friendly staff. :-) thanks for a clean comfy room.

Front desk had terrible service and didnt try to accommodate for a first floor room for me, my pregnant wife, and 1yr old… so he gave us a 2nd floor room!? Got into our room to unload and check it out… -Shower curtains were dirty / black smudges -Chair in the room was dirty and stained > had to use towels as a chair cover to sit on — DISGUSTING! -bed sheets / cover were nicely tucked? BUT… AFTER UNRAVELING THE SHEETS/COVERS TO LOOK, THERE WAS A FRESH BLOOD STAIN LIKE SOMEONE HAD THEIR PERIOD… -called front desk to have someone take a look/ change the bed sheets/covers… TOOK ONE HOUR AND NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE SO… -went to front desk to ask for a different room or someone to come change the bed sheet/covers> Front desk asked, "are u sure its just not paint? " -took them 2hrs to finally change them out! -as they changed out the sheets, the mattress had cigarette burns?! SICK! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! The staff there are MIDDLE EASTERNS and family owned by the PATTELS… TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THEY ALL LIVE ON THE TOP LEVEL (3rd floor), Don't EXPECT TOO MUCH! CHEAP STAY, CHEAP SERVICE/QUALITY!

For what we needed the room for it was good. Didn't spend much time there. Just needed a bed and shower. With that the bed was very firm, if you like that. The showers were hot. All in all good for our needs. Small rooms of you will be in them a long time.

Don't expect too much and you'll be pleased. The rooms are pretty clean. The continental breakfast is better than most. The Wi-Fi is fast. Weekends can be busy and it may be a little loud, but this is the best deal for a hotel in town.

If you can get past the fact that the landscaping and hallway carpets haven't been upgraded yet, the rooms looked comfortable and clean. But because we were meeting others here, we passed, and chose a nicer hotel. The prices reflect their awareness of any potential inconveniences, but since the remodeling of all the rooms is done now, according to the manager, it's probably worth the bet at these bargain prices. Breakfast sounded awesome, but again, we chose not to stay. They are anxious to please. If we hadn't been choosing for others besides ourselves, we would've given them a chance, you won't beat the value for price anywhere else in Appleton.

The motel is under new management and a lot of improvement have been made. Nice and clean and comfy.

The people are sweet and make sure ur doing OK and the breakfast was awesome I enjoyed my stay and I'm going again this coming weekend they make my stay nice and the beds are so comfortable I never sleep at hotels because of the beds but this place rocked it is slept like a baby and I didn't wanna get up hahaha I will always be there customer thank u for being awesome.

It's nice when on a budget beds are comfy n people are very sweet n helpful when I got back to Appleton this is where I'll keep staying there in the middle of every thing don't judge a book by the cover cuz this place is sweet.

Cheap room for the night. The greeter was uninterested in me at all. Didn't even tell me what the rooms cost before he swiped my card. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 11:30 or so which didn't help. Overall though, a good place for a night.

Very POOR management. I will never stay there again. And defiantly DO NOT recommend it. Just thought people should know. That's the only reason I'm writing this review. If you want details. I found a used plastic fork under our bed. Multiple hairs in one of the beds. Hotel did not smell good at all. And a list of other things, but that should give you an idea.

Reasonable price for a decent room, but the jets in the hot tub were busted, so it has to lose a star.

This hotel has bedbugs and is not cleaned thoroughly. The management is poor and does not treat customers well at all. We went there, decided we wanted a refund and were attacked by the manager for "expecting too much". Don't stay here when there are plenty of other places to stay in Appleton.
