Definitely not what I was expecting for what I paid for. Should be more like an $80 night hotel room. Paid for a queen suite and beds were not even close to being a queen. And A/C didn’t work. Was hot all Night and couldn’t sleep. Definitely not happy. Pictures on website are misleading. Small bathrooms, pool is very small would not recommend swimming. Definitely not going to stay here again. Will be finding a different hotel for next Mayo visit stay.

The inn smelled like Sewer gas. No wash cloths in the bathroom. Bed very lumpy. Carpet in hallway is filthy. Girl at desk when we left was sitting with her foot up in her chair looking at her phone. I asked where I could write a review and she got very defensive. Was rude to me when I ask for a receipt. When she said your welcome to me insinuating I should have said thank you. But, I was the one that gave your hotel over a hundred dollars. You should have said thank you to me.

We stayed here twice because of its convenient location, hoping that the awful state of our room the first time was a fluke. Wrong. The first room smelled “old” and had a dried, crusty white substance splattered on the nightstand………… the bathroom was constantly damp, and all the fixtures were either dusty or moldy. I scrubbed the tub out myself before allowing my child to bathe. Our second room; which happened to be right next door to the fist one we stayed in was equally disgusting. There was actually a strangers blood on the door lock. My husband got sick with a cough after both of our stays there. We thought maybe it was the dry air, but looking back I’m assuming it’s the black mold on the bathroom fixtures. We also discovered a thick layer of dust under the bed while looking for a lost toy. You would think since they are housing mostly Mayo patients, they would take the time to wipe down high touch areas but I guess that’s not a big deal. The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is the convenient location and friendly staff. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Very easy walking distance to some great restaurants and close to Mayo Hospital and most of the clinics we needed to go to.

We stayed last night, the mini fridges don’t get cold, the AC sounded like a helicopter flying over. The dresser drawers had dirt, hair and who knows what else. There was other people’s trash still in the trash can, had to ask for toilet paper, and notified the front desk they had a water leak in the wall between the shower and the sink. Carpeting was wet under the sink. The bedding was old, and had small holes in it. The chair in the corner had change, and dirt under the cushions. The mattress’s were old, carpet was dirty also.

Close/attached to Mayo. Made it convenient to get to various appointments. Hotel maids were exceptional!

I have stayed here several times this last fall and winter. It's clean and comfortable and I can walk the subway to my clinics. Easy parking on subway level too. Great price!

The beds are absolutely horrific. The only decent thing is it is right across the street from Mayo Clinic. However, if I’d known how awful the beds were, I would’ve driven or stayed somewhere else. The rooms stink. The front desk receptionist was rude when I was checking in. It seemed like it was a bother for her to do her job. The cost is not worth the crappy rooms and crappy treatment by staff.

One thing we noticed was that the room had not been vacuumed. Also a few pieces of trash by the nightstand and floor in bathroom was not clean.
We were not happy with the coffee set up. Only 1 reg & 1 decaf for 2 of us. I was surprised that they didn't have brewed coffee available since breakfast wasn't served anymore.
Overall, the stay was good. It was very quiet!

Beds are horrible, rooms stink like cigarettes and mildew! Had heard rooms were decent, maybe back in 1980 they were! Everything thing in here looks like it’s 40 years old!

Heat took an hour to start working. Heater noisy. Fan in bathroom loud. Beds are well used. Think we got the worst room. I had heard good things, but NOPE!

Reasonable, clean, basic accommodations with Subway access to Mayo Clinic. Close to everything downtown. Mini fridge, 4 cup coffee pot, microwave, continental breakfast, free parking.

Great access to Mayo Clinic either by walking outside or the underground Subway walkway. Staff is super friendly and accommodating, regular rooms are a little tight, so we go with the double Queen beds. Continental breakfast is good. Close to a variety of eating establishments. Also the worked with us when we wanted a later than deadline checkout.

Older hotel with some updates. If you need something close to the Mayo it is great for that. A very short walk.

Well kept motel with access to the tunnel system connecting to Mayo clinic locations.

The place seemed nice, clean, and friendly, but my son and I had to open the windows, we were having severe allergies there, not sure why. It was not polin, we were fine outside.

Great place to stay service was great they let us Park while my appointment went over to check out time I got a key to get back on the subway to go out to the hotel to the car I would recommend Brentwood Inn & Suites a great place to stay.

Room was very clean and quiet. There's a complimentary breakfast near where you check in. Has a indoor tunnel to Mayo Clinic that is heated/air conditioned and was very convenient.

Great service. Very understanding for Mayo patients when they need to stay longer. Love the subway level connection to the Mayo complex and shopping center.

Building is a bit dated and only one of the two elevators goes to the fourth floor but the rooms are a good size, quiet and clean. The staff was very accommodating with allowing a late check out. Parking was free and building is connected to Mayo clinic.

The beds were comfortable! A really good breakfast and the staff were courteous.

Near by the Mayo and shopping center. Rooms clean and well decorated. Comfy, homey, have a great Continental breakfast. Great place to stay for a check up or a business conference. Service was very accommodating. Quick and responsive to all our needs.

31/2 stars no rack for even one piece of luggage in room. Eating area presentation is designed to reduce consumption. Very small coffee cups, food quality on 1 — 10 scale =31/2 presentation area tight and uncomfortable. Bath drain fully open but does not drain, ankle deep in bathwater. Room is nice enough and it is comfortable enough. Ok for lower price.

Very accommodating, obviously very accustomed to serving Mayo Clinic visitors. The room was clean and reasonably quiet. It's not the Ritz, but met our needs perfectly, including a "subway' (a pedestrian tunnel) entrance to reach the Clinic. They happily received incoming mail for us, supplied us with a nightlight, called for shuttle service and generally made us feel welcome.

Close to Mayo Clinic buildings and can be accessed by subway. You do not even have to go outside. Had to change dates of stay due to doctor appts. Staff was understanding and helpful and accommodating. Free parking. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Super clean and quiet rooming.

The Brentwood was a very nice, clean, quiet place to stay while visiting the Mayo Clinic. We changed our check out date a few time because of appointment changes and the staff was always very helpful and flexible. You can get from the hotel to the clinic without even having to go outside. There's also a decent complimentary, continental breakfast in the mornings.

We have been staying at the Brentwood regularly for our Mayo Clinic visits since 1999 and have recommended it to friends and relatives. The staff and management are friendly and competent. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and competitively priced. The hotel is served by a free shuttle and by a pedestrian subway connecting to clinic facilities, shops, and restaurants. Free parking is adjacent, some under roof. Free breakfast and multiple computers for guest access.
