Hampton Inn always delivers good service, great staff and comfortable rooms. Great hot tub and pool area. Shuttle to and from Mayo Clinic.

Outstanding, caring staff! We were amazed to find the snow had been cleaned from all vehicles in the parking lot and due to the extreme cold, the hotel brought in a pizza lunch (the hotel's treat) for all guests. Also love their amazing shuttle service, not only to the Mayo Clinic, but to any restaurant of your choice, or nearby shopping. I can't say enough good things about this facility and staff!

The room were really nice and cozy, the lobby was nice and relaxing, the pool and hot tub were amazing, the service was perfect, I would recommend.

Hotel is very easy to see and get to from the highway. Parking lot is smaller than I would expect and it appears (to me) that there are minimal handicap spaces. However, I explained that I needed a space and asked if it was okay to park in "Diamond Member" parking since no handicap was available. The desk associate allowed me to, with no hesitation. I am very impressed that the pool is open until midnight. Not many hotels have pool hours passed 10:30, in my experience. The pool and hot tub are clean, very easy to walk into and both have hand rails. The hot tub was AMAZING! It's very well-lit in the tub so you can see exactly where you're walking. It is flat on the bottom, very wide and the seating space is ample. A sign read that it has a maximum capacity for "10", but it looks like it could fit several more. They keep towels supplied in the pool area so you don't need to bring one from your room. The pool is on the 2nd floor. They do have a fitness room, but I didn't check it out. The staff was always very friendly and knowledgeable when I had a question about the Rochester area. I forgot my razor and had to ask for one. The staff provided one with a smile! There is a laundry room in the hall behind the front desk. I did a load of laundry and liked how my clothes came out. Kind of small but exactly what I would expect a hotel to have. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. I stayed there for the weekend for a wedding and had some shopping to complete.

Sami at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, as expected. I like knowing what I can rely on for breakfast. The room was clean and quiet. Nice exercise room. This is one of my favorite Hampton Inns. I have stayed here for the Minnesota Shop Hop many times and I look forward to returning.

Very clean hotel with up to date amenities, great included breakfast, free Wi-Fi, EXCELLENT staff. We were here with a team and they were very accommodating. (Let us us conference room for games/meetings) Best of, was the price is very budget friendly. At the time of booking, ours was $110/night…

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Sam, at the front desk, is one of the best people I have ever met in the hospitality industry. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and not wanting for a single thing!

The staff were great and friendly when I checked a little later at night. The room was nice and clean and didn't have a bad odor or anything. It seemed a little weird that they wanted my car info and locked the front door after 10 tho.

The service was great. Everyone was friendly, nice, and helpful. The shuttle to and from the clinic was nice and a much easier than finding parking. The rooms were clean and had no issues (although very basic). The breakfast was good with lots of options. I would stay here again.

We always have a nice stay. Friendly service, room is clean, breakfast adequate and on par with that found at other establishments.

Really enjoyed my stay. First time here. I was picked for customer of the day and received a snack bag. Room was really clean and spacious. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was nice too!

The medical vans to and from Mayo Clinic are very nice and clean, and so are the rooms. The staff are also very warm and friendly!

If I could give less I would. Our swim team has been coming to this hotel for at least 5 years every March, and this year we were treated horribly. Toilet still had 'matter' in it when I checked in, and when I informed front desk staff was told housekeeping had already left for the day and looked at me like I was supposed to deal with it… no apology, no offer to give credit for issue. Family in room next to mine had to have 'ozone' treatment to get rid of smoke smell even though we all booked rooms on the non-smoking floor — — understand this is not the hotel's fault, but again — no offers of apology or credit for inconvenience. Had to call maintenance to come and clear toilet again after daughter used it to just go pee… again, no offers of apology or credit for inconvenience. When sitting by the hot tub was told no food or beverages of any kind (I completely agree with no food, which is why we had none) even the water I had in an insulated bottle because if I happened to get it in the hot tub it could throw off pH levels.

Clean, modern, great hotel. The pool & hot tub are in a separate (but connected) building and is open until midnight, which is nice. Great breakfast spread in the morning, including delicious Belgian waffles and an assortment of toppings. We stayed here as it was a short 10min drive to the Mayo Clinic. The location is quite convenient just off of hwy 52. They also have a shuttle that will take you anywhere in Rochester, although we didn't take advantage of that, so I can't comment on it at all. Overall, a great experience.

I love the location of Hampton Inn & Suites North. There's plenty of shopping and restaurants. The room is really nice, with a king bed, desk and chair, couch and coffee table, huge closet, and the bath room is a good size. The tub and toilet are in a room of their own, and there is a large double sink vanity just outside the bath room. We have a kitchenette with a long countertop with a sink on one end and a coffee setup on the other end. We also have a small fridge AND a microwave! The staff have all been very polite, friendly and helpful.

We stayed there for a family reunion. We got the conference room the whole time, staff was very accommodating. There were a ton of kids there and popcorn, crumbs, food all over the floor when we were done at the end of the night and so we offered to vacuum it up ourselves. But they insisted that it was no problem and then they did it. Pool also a plus!

Room was clean. Breakfast and coffee we're better than you would expect from a free hotel breakfast. It was my second time staying in Rochester. I will definitetly look into this place next time I visit.

Very friendly and hospitable with coffee, hot water and microwave availability. Plates and utensils were also available. Slept well.

I have stayed here multiple times due to a visit to Mayo Clinic, and every time the staff is incredibly professional and helpful. The shuttle to the clinic is fantastic and driven by Rick, who is an amazing guy. 100% would stay here again.

My stay was enjoyable and comfortable. All of my requirements were satisfied. Breakfast selection was great, though occasionally some items seemed to be of lesser quality. But there was never a morning where there wasn't at least something more than worthwhile to eat.

Beds are super firm and uncomfortable… Also out of coffee on two occasions during my stay. Very clean though, and great pool/hot tub.

Recently Jay Harris (a touring comedian) stayed here while performing in Rochester, and had a fantastic stay! The rooms were perfect and clean, and the location to shopping and entertainment venues downtown is great! There was a free breakfast in the morning that was great while waiting on laundry to finish. The Hampton Inn North is my favorite place to stay when we need to go to Mayo. The staff (especially Rick and Nick) go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The room is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was good and offered several breakfast options. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Staff is accommodating and very helpful. Yearly we visit for a convention and this place is always clean and comfortable. I love staying here.

Staff was very welcoming. Rooms were of a generous size and very clean. Pool was well maintained pool floor one of the cleanest I've seen at a hotel! Very happy with my stay.

Staff is very friendly, helpful and clearly identified by nice attire. Hotel is in good condition with many good amenities. The pool is excellent (good size, plenty of towels and even some pool toys for the kids to use). The breakfast was typical but good!

Then staff were so kind and very helpful. Both my kiddos loved the family friendly pool. And breakfast was wonderful! There were many, many choices for breakfast which made it easy to get myself and the kiddos fed.

The only place we like to stay when coming to Rochester. The staff is amazing! Always accommodating, friendly, and so helpful. We love the pool area and virtual check-in so we can pick what room we want to stay in! We will definitely be back, as we travel to Rochester twice a week for medical needs.

The staff are some of the most friendly I have ever experienced. The room was clean and smelled great when we arrived. The jacuzzi is also a great way to relax at night and the pool was very clear and clean. Near the top of my list of best hotel stays.

We just had a short overnight stay on Easter weekend, but it was very enjoyable. Beds were comfy, and the rooms were clean and new. I thought the hot breakfast (with eggs and bacon! ) was very good, but my husband was disappointed in his make-your-own waffle; he thought it was under done, but he made it himself, soooo… I was very pleased with the staff, as well! Everyone was helpful and friendly, and the front desk was even able to provide us with some earplugs to drown out the kids' snoring. We'd gladly stay again.

Loved the hotel room, room 406, it had a nice two queen size beds, extra comfy, veiw was spectacular, TV was good, the AC was blowing most of the night. Good breakfast and lobby. I'd also like to add a "No Instrument" rule, because all night (partially) we were hearing obnoxious bassoon noises. Quite peaceful I might add. And also a "No Fireworks" rule. When we came to visit, we got room 214 and it was right down the hall from the pool. I really liked that part, but all night it sounded like someone was knocking on our door.

I visited the Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester — North as I do every year for my employer's annual leadership summit. The meeting room is always well prepared and clean, and the coffee is decent. My only critique would be the number of public restrooms by the meeting room. As the lone men's room only offers one stall and one urinal, it becomes quite the line when there's a break in the meeting.

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Rochester had incredible service, an awesome complimentary breakfast, and was a prime location for a night on the town. Super classy place.

Clean and very comfy rooms. Delicious breakfast. Nice facilities, nice staff. The current construction makes parking tricky, but we managed to park.

It's all about RICK! The shuttle driver is the nicest guy in the world. He is compassionate, friendly, and helpful. If your here for the Mayo and take the shuttle back and forth I definitely recommend staying here. Rooms are clean, shuttle is fast and on time, hotel staff is great and the breakfast is pretty good. A+ customer service.
