First stay in COVID-19 Era. Wife had consult at Mayo Clinic. Clean rooms, comfortable. Staff that provide excellent customer service.

To our surprise, for Christmas Day they provided a free dinner for their guest. Staff were very helpful. We would definitely recommend stay here.

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Doubletree by Hilton Ballroom on October 10, 2020. The event coordinators were tremendous at helping us get every detail in place and catered to our preferences! The event staff were exceptional going above and beyond to provide excellent service. The hotel implemented policies for keeping all our friends and family safe during the COVID pandemic well. We would highly recommend the Doubletree to host an event such as as a wedding reception. Thank you Doubletree for making our wedding day so special!

No one wants to come to Rochester and the Mayo Clinic. This hotel is AMAZING! The staff is fabulous. The rooms so comfortable and quiet. The limo shuttle to and from the clinic is a God send. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. I travel for business a lot but never had the service we have received here (I am a hotel snob too). If for some reason you need to come here for treatment, this is the only hotel to stay.

Not worth the money 2 nights ran me $498.00 there was no continental breakfast, parking fees were $18/day free water in room costed $2/per bottle beds were super uncomfortable and the amount of street noise in room was terrible overall for what you get I didn't see where it was worth it as other motels within close proximity to mayo clinic offered more amenities than here for a lower cost. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed and pool and fitness centers were clean and accessible.

The staff was very friendly, the business center was open 24/7 so I could do work late into the night. Room service was prompt and tasted delicious. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste at home and they gave me another one for free. I was able to check out hassle free and they stored my bag for me while I was interviewing. I would stay again, very close to the Mayo clinic and very accommodating.

It's nice and while I wasn't a guest, my friends were, and complained that the hotel didn't have a Continental breakfast or good Wi-Fi. I get it, it's a hotel for professionals, but it's annoying for normal guests to not have these things. In any case the boardroom was nice, and the rooms were generally pretty nice.

Clean rooms, beautiful lobby, nice front desk staff. Valet is $20 and self park is $16 but you can find street parking around if you are willing to look and leave it out at night. Overall great stay!

The room service meals were outstanding and easily some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had. We stayed in Executive Suite for our stay and unfortunately I was disappointed with the stay itself. For a stay over $300 I would have expected at least a more modern room and a shower that wasn't hidden behind the bathroom door. The hospitality however was phenomenal, very friendly and helpful staff that made our time there very nice.

I don't usually post reviews online but I felt that my experience at DoubleTree was so positive I needed to write a review and show some appreciation. First of all the rooms are in great shape. Everything is updated and most of all the beds are comfortable. My only thought for improving the room is that the TV was on the small side. That's seriously it. Every staff member was friendly. I had the opportunity to see other hotels in the area like the Mariot and Hilton Garden. This hotel was better maintained than the other two. Also, the walk to the civic center, where most conferences are held, is short and accessible through a walkway. When I originally booked my room I made the mistake of not booking it long enough. Not only did they work with me to accommodate me for another day but they were also able to send someone to freshen up the room late in the day. Finally, I needed some revisions done to my receipt regarding the name and address. Not only did they address my problem but they did it quickly. I would strongly suggest anyone trying to decide which hotel to stay at when attending a conference at the Rochester civic center to stay in this hotel. Overall, top quality rooms and service.

Really sharp place. Very clean very crisp. Friendly staff from the front desk staff, house keeping, wait staff, and valet. The rooms are clean with great views. The diamond only areas are fancy and pretty comfortable. Very adult and business traveler friendly. The breakfast is also very good.

There was so much leather! I wanted to throw up at those skins people call style! Not going there again. It was not suitable for vegans, like I said their was too much leather, and almost no vegan options at the breakfast buffet. I hope to see changes in the hotel soon.

Great hotel. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Beds are very nice (slept like a rock). Would recommend the DoubleTree especially for the free cookie at check in.

The staff here are very nice and accommodating. The hotel had a makeover but is still pretty run down. We charter pilots can't afford to stay in better places. This is not a shiny star in Hilton's crown.

Price gouging Mayo Clinic patients: Stayed at this hotel largely because the length of our stay was uncertain, and we were told that they worked with Mayo Clinic patients well in similar situations. They confirmed this at the front desk at check in when we asked… Fast-forward 3 days, we ask to extend our stay from 4 nights to 6 and they say that our new rate will be more than double what we had been paying. Upon complaining they say they'll do it for 50% more than our previous rate and that there is another manager to talk to the following day that can possibly do more. This seems unprofessional that they don't have anyone either on-location or on-call that has authority. Our options now are to let them take advantage of us and our vulnerable situation and pay the new rate, or pack up all of our baby's gear, my wife's extensive medical necessities, groceries, etc and move it to another hotel at a more reasonable rate. 1 star, unless the hotel rectifies the situation.

Stayed here during our trip to the Mayo Clinic. The room was clean and the staff was great especially Lois who worked during breakfast in the lounge. The heat needed to be fixed in our room. The room was either freezing or a sauna and we were there for 8 days so that was uncomfortable at night. There was also a very large low hanging chandelier in the middle of the room that everyone hit their heads on multiple times we had to rearrange our room to avoid running into the chandelier it needs to be replaced with something more practical and not hanging feet from the ceiling. Wi-Fi didn’t work right most of our stay making it hard to do work while I was there. Ordered room service our first night there because nothing was open— terrible mistake. My kids burgers were under cooked and pink so they couldn’t eat it and it was extremely expensive. They charged us 18% tip even though they forgot our drinks and had to come up to the room 3 times to get everything we ordered. Didn’t order food from the hotel the rest of the week we were there. Overall if you need a clean room with friendly staff and walking distance to Mayo I’d recommend.

Nice hotel. Awful internet performance. Don't bother with paying the "upgraded performance". Internet tech support was just as bad.

Nice rooms and friendly housekeeping staff. Connected to the Mayo Civic center by skywalks helping avoid the cold. Wi-Fi was mediocre in signal strength but I also had a room to the end of a floor. Front desk staff during the evenings was not as friendly, so likely a hit or miss. Was a easy shuttle ride to MSP.

I attended an excellent work event at the DoubleTree. The staff were friendly and took great care of us. The food and coffee were tasty, as well.

The DoubleTree by Hilton at Rochester is a good, convenient option for those looking to stay close to the Mayo Clinic. The hotel has spacious and comfortable rooms and offers direct, weather-proof access to the Mayo Buildings through the Skyway network. We stayed here since we had some business to take care of at Mayo Clinic and we had a nice, comfortable stay. Would recommend.

We rented the ballroom for a movie showing. They had all the necessary hook ups for the video and audio. The service for snacks and drinks was good to. The staff was helpful and courteous.

The Best Bell Staff you’ll come across. Hotel is convenient to the Mayo Clinic, connected to Skyways and shopping and the hotel offers a great car service taking you anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. Hotel rooms are average, Wi-Fi could be better but the exceptional service from the Bell staff (who do almost everything) will make your stay a pleasant one.

The hotel is in a great location with access to the Mayo Clinic and within walking distance of many restaurants. The parking garage is right behind the hotel with easy access and they do offer valet but good luck if the loading zone e is full. The one negative is the absolutely horrible iron in the room, it was cheap and useless. I thought it may have been just my room but everyone I traveled with had the same issue, completely unacceptable for business travelers.

Choose DoubleTree over Marriott in Rochester because reservation process was much faster with no hassles (Marriott sends you to Central Booking). Hotel location is ideal, parking was easy and reasonably priced (in an out parking for a flat rate), room was clean and comfortable, and check in/out was quick and easy despite the hotel being sold out during my stay. Thanks Doubletree!

The restaurant was located right on the main floor off the lobby. Went for drinks and light lunch during the happy hour, was very satisfied. Had good, $5 in house cocktails, and fresh oysters for $2 each which was a steal. The bartender was friendly and attentive, but you could definitely tell it was a low service down time with all the vendors in and out. The bartender still did a nice job despite all that, would definitely visit again next time we are in Rochester for dinner, lunch, or happy hour again.

I could not be happier with how our wedding reception on 8/5/17 turned out! Briana McDonald is the Event Coordinator/Catering Manager for the DoubleTree — Rochester and she was so incredibly helpful during the entire process. She kept notes of everything we had talked about and was always very prompt in responding to inquiries and questions. The entire staff at the DoubleTree went above and beyond the weekend of our wedding. Everybody from the front desk staff handing out welcome bags to guests in our hotel blocks, to the bellmen helping us load things out of our cars and into the ballroom; all of the staff were so helpful, kind, and truly wonderful to work with. I will definitely recommend this venue to anybody getting married in Rochester, MN!

Great service and great staff. The company I work for is holding a meeting there and I've been very happy with the service the Double Tree is providing. Highly recommend for any business that needs a venue for any professional events.

The quality of the room is quite nice. There was a warm cookie at check in, which was an unexpected and delicious surprise. I was excited by the idea of using the phone app to open the doors, but their system was down intermittently through the day so best to get a physical key anyway. Would certainly stay here again.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Hotel was clean and looked well kept. Only complaint was I could hear people in the hall very well which I shouldn't. Also the bed was super hard. I love a good firm mattress, but this was too hard for me. Otherwise a great stay overall.

So nice and clean. So fancy. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. No noise complaints. Nice towels and toiletries. Love the fridge and furniture to chill and spread out. Would love to try the shops and restaurants and pool next time!

Friendly service and rooms that look amazing! The hotel has a Starbucks nearby and the University Square skyway gives an easy access to different places! Highly recommend if you're visiting Rochester.

I was only at the hotel for brunch at Pescara which is located in the lobby. The lobby area was very attractive, clean, and comfortable.

Had a king size room for a conference this weekend. Staff was helpful and professional with anything I needed. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Great place to stay in Rochester!

Spent one night on a quick business trip. Room was clean. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Our son had an accident in the room and they reponded promptly and without any hint of being upset. Would recommend in the future.

Unfortunately, I had to be at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester 9 times in the last year. The Doubletree accommodations and their staff made the visits much more bearable. I highly recommend staying at the Doubletree.

I had a fantastic stay here! The rooms were very comfortable and fully stocked, and the entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive — from the front desk to the bell hop to the cleaning staff. I thought the location was also very convenient to my needs. I hope to stay here whenever I'm in the area.

The location isn't as good, but for the price the DoubleTree is a better value than the Marriott, which bounces overbookings to the musty old Kahler.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. It feels a little silly to have to pay for parking in such a small town, but everything else was great.
