Nice place. Close to medieval times. Pull out couch beds were rough. And bed sheets dirty. Other than that, it was a very good stay.

The location was great. I arrived at check in time but my room was not ready. The young lady at the desk upgraded my room for me. The rooms were clean although the room I stayed in had some water damage over the shower. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. It was also a quiet hotel which I appreciated.

Nice and clean with a quick check-in. A nice kitchenette and in a great location close to the wood field mall.

Couldn’t even get a glass to pour a glass of water! Told me they were out of glasses! Seriously, they did! In the morning coffee station was set up WITH GLASSES! I ended up having to spend 2.00 in the vending machine for a water! Terrible! Would never stay at another one again!

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years as it's close to where I go for work. Nice staff, clean, easy location.

Rooms where OK, service was fine. It took about 25 minutes to check in. Good for long stays.

Friendly employees, handicap accessible facility, clean roomy suites, quiet area, up-to-date decor, free parking including handicap spaces, children friendly, kitchen complete w full sized fridge convection cook top and microwave, ample cabinet space, nice sized closet w attached shelving, FREE WI-FI, complimentary continental breakfast, activities restaurants shopping and highway nearby.

Great location. Rooms were clean. There was an odd smell throughout the lobby and elevators.

The non smoking policy is NOT enforced here. If you enjoy waking up in the morning to cigarette smoke and an unwanted wake and bake seeping through your walls then this place is for you. There are cigarette burns in the rooms. Make sure to take pictures and have a manager note the damages so you are not charged for incidentals.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. It smells like spoiled and rotten food the the room. Booked through priceline so couldn't cancel. The odor was so bad that I walked into the room and stayed for about five minutes before walking out and immediately checking out. Price was not worth it. Everything was dirty and disgusting. Brought it up to the front desk and he smiled and said okay. Never booking with extended stay america again.

Great staff, even a broken arm and they still do top notch work. Loved the crazy lady she gave me a piggy bank for my kid.

Excellent customer service, big spacious room, they supply you with a complete kit for the kitchen that includes Coffee maker, plates, forks, cups etc. I been staying here for the last 2 or 3 weeks and I am extremely satisfied. Great location very close to the freeway, supermarkets, woodfield mall, a 7 eleven open 24 hours accross the Street and not to far from O'Hare. Next time I come back to Illinois this is the place I will stay again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Extended Stay America — Chicago Schaumburg Convention centre. The rooms are nice, clean and have all necessary appliances (refrigerator, microwave, electric iron). And free Wi-Fi. They also provide you with a whole Kitchen set in case you wanna cook for yourself. There are many eating options nearby (Papa John's, Chipotle, Jimmy John's etc) as well as 7-eleven right across the street. For a budget stay, it's good value for money.

Don't expect the usual hotel experience here. I was not aware of their once a week room service thing while booking rooms (maybe they put it in fine print or somewhere else). Got to know about it only a day before when they sent a welcome mail. You need to go at front desk everytime you need fresh towels. You need to carry box of dishes yourself to your room after getting them from front desk. I asked for coffee maker (which I expected to be in room) from front desk. They provided it but did not give coffee. Don't expect your bed made up once you come back. Only good thing is that rooms were clean. But one expect that from every hotel. Would not stay here again.

Loved the staff. Everybody was cheery and had good senses of humor. Made my stay much nicer.

The rooms are clean… amenities are included : refrigerator, stove top, cookwares. Rather you're on vacation, a night stay, weekend getaway or temporary living — it is convenient for cooked home meals, close to Woodfield Mall and surrounding restaurants and entertainment.

Good location for business. Hotel is clean and has great front desk service from 7am to 11pm! Excellent for extended stays.

Room 105 (7/11/2017), All they did was change sheets and towels after the prior occupant. One of the pillowcases was beyond dirty, carpet needed to be vacuum, toilet seat had fresh urine stains on it, our generation of men are just freaking disgusting, no respect for the next person whatsoever in public places. I've stayed here 3 years ago and to me this hotel has gone down since then. Could keep going, but I'm sure anyone reading this can imagine the rest.

Not bad but definitely not worth 200 for 2 nights. I paid that much for 3 nights at the Days Inn a couple miles away. There was a mildew smell and the AC wouldn't circulate throughout the room. My comforter and sheets also had scuff marks on them. What saved this place was customer service. The workers were really helpful and nice.

Rooms are decent but could be a little bigger. The pull out bed in the couch was very uncomfortable. They do not really serve anything but quick oatmeal and granola bars for breakfast.

This is a wonderfully pet friendly extended stay hotel. The management and staff are extremely accommodating, helpful, efficient, and friendly. I stayed here during some of the worst weather in winter — I was impressed with the service, cleanliness, and amenities without exception. Even though I did have a few minor functional issues in the room, maintenance personnel was responsive and handled the issues expeditiously. Being so close to restaurants shopping and family entertainment was a bonus — but the REAL HIDDEN GEM was the huge and beautifully maintained dog park about 400m away. If you have a family or need to stay anywhere with your pets, this is the place to go.

Please Please Please stay away from this hotel. Worst I have ever been to. Bedsheets were badly smelling I literally freaked out stay in that room when my daughter was with me. I asked for extra bed sheets front desk guy gave sheets that have blood stain on it. When I returned for fresh one that girl who was shift after him said she was allergic to dust and didn't even touch those sheets. Please don't waste your money. They advertise it's renovated, not even 1950 with no care hotels with like this. Now when think of front desk lady response to fresh bedsheets, I wanted to write to a review to at least save someone from my experiences.

Dingy room with bad smell (the entire hotel had a bad odor). Corridors had cigarette smell all the time. One of the worst places that I have ever stayed. Even if it is a few bucks cheaper, do yourself a favor and stay some place else that is more decent.

One of worst experience with hotels I stayed. The check-in time was 3pm. But I didn't get my first room till 4pm and I got my 2nd room only at 5 pm and both rooms were given at different floors. In middle of the night, the fire alarm triggered in some room and we all had to evacuate and spoiled our sleep. There was no hotel staff to assist or guide. Breakfast room had only coffee and granola bar. All other items were empty and not refilled. The hotel staff was not courteous when I asked to refill. I wouldn't stay in extended stay anymore.

Lady working at the front desk was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable the whole visit. I think she is hotel manager. No name tag. No nothing. They also pounded on our door early in the morning saying they had to check the smoke detectors. Not sure why they did not notify us or at least give a flyer letting us know they will be checking smoke detectors. Spend your money elsewhere if customer service is important to you.

I never stayed at this hotel only checked prices and was charged for a reservation that I never made. They have made it very hard to recieve my money back for something I never got a confirmation on. They had no proof of a room on my account with them it says no reservations but yet I was charged still. Stay with someone who doesn't steal from people.

Great location, clean rooms, healthy breakfast but few items.

My stay at this place was far less than acceptable! We asked for a room switch from one double bed to two but were told that we would have to pay an additional amount. The elevator smelled of urine! The room smelled of curry and body odor! No trash can in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and the the smell was cloying and nearly unbearable! Not a positive experience, would have preferred Motel 6 or a park bench!

I will never stay here again staff is so rude there is renovation going on till midnight cant sleep toilet over flowed asked for maintenance they tell me they dont work today that they will send me a plunger and gloves to do it myself and took over an hour to send it. I go to hotels every week because I travel. And I know one thing for sure I will never stay here again I rather stay at motel 6 or sleep in my car I have never been so disrespected in my life im a paying customer you're not giving me nothing for free I will take my money elsewhere and give you a bad review on every site and warn people what they are going to be dealing with. Rude staff. No maintenance workers… garbage in all hallways smells bad. They have no room service unless u stay over 30 days. Bathtub peeling with stuff coming out. No dish soap they have a kitchenette but need to request pots and pans and plates and silverware. If you're thinking of staying here think twice because I guarantee you regret.

Room was okay but carpet and bed sucked.

Do not stay at this facility. Was in the shower and someone tried busting through my door claiming it was housekeeping. I video taped everything along with the door lock they pulled out from the door jamb with the force they used. Front desk woman claimed she was sorry didn't realise someone was in there, really. The door was deadbolt and extra security lock on. I've also filed a police report with local authorities. By law, they cannot enter they are to contact police to enter.

I am surprised by the other reviews… I stayed here and the staff were awesome… so friendly. I am from Canada and here for a week at a conference and everyone went out of their way to be helpful so maybe there has been a change in staff? The room was clean, the service was great… its only rated 2 stars in terms of hotels, but I travel a lot and have stayed in way worse! plus they let me check in earlier than regular because my flight got in early… they also held my packages that I sent in two days earlier. I will come back for sure on my next trip!

This is the worst staff ever the white girl is do rude and evil you need to think 10 times to go there even when you tell the manager he dose not care at all don't go there or have the worst vacation ever.

This is the worst hotel management ever and the most rude works and they are creepy the will come into your room any time they feel like there is no privacy at all, the west worker they have is a white girl by darlin she is very rude and Evil don't go to that hotel people.

As you can see below was my first review, but when I pointed out the same to the staff they were willing to move me to another room which had a kind of Ok sofa. All other services were Ok. Iam a reasonable guy expecting a decent cleanliness, but the condition of sofa and chairs were too bad. It had lot white patches and other dirts, seems like no house keeping guy even touched it for years. Not sure about other extended stays, but won't be recommending this one to any of my friends or family.
