Stay away. Do not bring your children here. A hotel advertised as a six flags location you would think be somewhat kid friendly. We picked this location as we were traveling with a cat. We pulled up mid day and it looked bad but I proceeded to check in after driving 8 hours. Inside and out was filled with drug dealers and prostitutes. There was a homeless family sleeping in a waiting area off the lobby. My son said “mommy it smells like the building is on fire. ” It reeked like every drug imaginable. The incredible part was the manager (a man in a tight fitting dress seemed to be in on the whole operation). For $70 dollars a night I expect a little nicer accommodations. We were able to check out and receive a refund. However this is something my child will never forget.

Believe it or not I stayed at this hotel for 6 months checked out a couple of days ago. Mainly because it was really close to my job and convenient for me. I've spent thousands of dollars here and it wasn't worth it. Yes it a s@! t hole but what made me mad was when I went through my fiance phone and found out that Courtney was a man transsexual whatever u call it and sleeping with my man! I spent to much money here to be disrespected like that so that's why y'all lost one of your best customers ever… by the way I'm at a great hotel now they come in and clean your room and change your towels EVERYDAY. It's expensive than what I used to pay but it's worth it and I have Peace.

Worst hotel in the city. Junkies, prostitutes, dope boys, poor house cleaning, dirty, stank, and nasty. Not to mention the MAN in a dress"Courtney Constance Dukes" who the supposedly supervisor unprofessional who stealing money from the hotel in hopes of getting a sex change. Who uses witchcraft against guest He don't like sad and pathetic.

Worst hotel I've stayed in. It was dirty, loud, and they charged me twice. All throughout the night prostituts went from door to door. When we got in the room the beds and floors were dirty. Never going here again.

Staying for a week. Pet friendly and the rooms are huge. The area of town not so great, but $300 for the week is good.

Nice staff and clean rooms but run down with LOTS of hookers around. Would not bring a family here but otherwise fine.

Checked in today… Jesus Christ Lord have mercy, VERY run down… hookers and drug dealers all over the place, strip clubs across the street. I had a child with me … as soon as we looked at the room I couldn't walk out fast enough to find another place to stay. Booked 4 nights… did not stay even 10 min… rooms are disgusting, carpet ripped up, sheets with burn holes, hotel as a whole smells horrid and burning incense on the bottom floor, hallways are dark and unsafe, from outside I already felt unsafe but when I walked in it got even worse… went to eat across the street the server told me that this is a bad area to stay in and to go else where and thats what I did… cancelled red roof inn reservations and booked safer and nice hotel just a mile down the road, I was told from a local that red roof inn is basically for locals not really visitors… NEVER NEVER NEVER will I even consider staying there. Straight ghetto.

I walked in and service was great. Smelled like dank though. I park my car. Walk in while hookers are walking out. This hotel is next to 2 clubs. I got to my room. Key didn’t work. Had the girl unlock it. Found blood in the bathtub. And curtains were broken. Completely disgusting. I was so disgusted I had to get a better hotel down the road. I get a refund. Then I accidentally left my pillow. I come back and get it the next day. I get home 4 hours away from the hotel to realize they replaced my pillow with one of their hotel ones. Would not recommend. 100% you can do better.

This is an awesome establishment to stay in, especially since the new General Manager started about a week ago. She has already begun turning this place around. Its more quiet, she walk the halls to make sure everything is in order. I absolutely Love the new GM Courtney omg she's bad, I hope She weed out all the bad seeds and sow new ones that are genuinely considerate just as her. I love what you've done and I'll most definitely visit again soon all because of Courtney. Keep up the great work.

This place is Nasty. Please do no stay here ever, customer service is non existent. Just a body at the desk, unable to provide any assistance. Only one towel to a room with two occupants? I guess be prepared to share. I was placed in a non smoking room on night one, however the smoky odor on the room was sop strong, I got up wheezing the next morning. If you are looking for low cost motels, please past this one by, not worth a penny.

When you drive up you see the security guard that's on his cell phone playing. Car scattered everywhere not parked in a parking spot where they belong. When you walk in the door all I smelt was marijuana and crack. Fantryvia the front desk lady was very rude a disrespectful. She did not want to help at all she would just wanted to play on her cell phone. This place looks like a dump. When I got to the room and open the door the TV was on and the window was open like they were smoking crack. The room reeks of marijuana and a sweet smelling crack smell I remember the smell when my stepdaughter was involved you cannot forget that smell. I do not recommend Red Roof Inn in Atlanta. Too high price for what you're getting this is a hourly room.

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but unless there are no rooms left anywhere close the airport, I would stay quite far away from here. The pictures make it look nice but it smelled strongly… herbal… as you walk in the lobby, the hallways were like The Shining only dark lighting, and I'm pretty sure a swift kick could have easily taken down the door. The room was abnormally big though so I bumped it to two stars.

Too much drugs and prostitution! I hate to even give them a star at all. I would give them a zero if I could! Horrible place to stay the night!

It looked cheap and creepy. The staff, or one staff member I saw wasn't exactly friendly, and it didn't feel safe. If its the cheapest place you can find go for it since its inside, but if you can find something better I'd recommend it.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Terrible customer service, had us waiting for hours to check in because they didn't have any clean rooms. It's a run down dump in a horrible area. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.

This location really doesn't deserve a star at all. I book with Red Roof Inn as a redi-club member for short stays at a decent price and surprisingly nice rooms from time to time. I have never had a negative experience with them in the past and was quite shocked at what happened with this one. My reservation was booked a few days in advance due to an unexpected death. Our party was driving from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta and after the apprx. 800 mile drive we ended up at the shadiest of locations, just to be told that they were overbooked! How can you over book and I have a reservation? We called customer service and after much conversation we where routed to another location in Smyrna which was absolutely disgusting as well. All the while we were sitting in the parking lot of this hell whole sticking out like a sore thumb in an SUV with out of state tags covered in the aftermath of bad northern snow storms. We were scared as the shady characters continued to walk past our vehicle looking in. I literally pulled off while on hold with Red Roof Inn not even knowing where I was going just to get away from that scene. I would never recommend this location to anyone!

Hallway smells joint bar in the afternoon. Front desk are very rude. We travel for work and thought it was convenient for us but I rather drive further than staying.

Latisha at the front desk was very kind and helpful when I needed her the most. I had a few problems with my room but she made sure I was comfy and also made sure I had every thing I needed. She had a positive attitude with a bright smile, the best service I had since ive been in Atlanta Thank You Miss Latisha.

Location is pretty sketchy, right next to a strip club. Rooms are decent, microwave and fridge in room, beds are better than expected. Service is pretty bad, rooms weren't cleaned for an entire week stay even after asking multiple times.

The rooms were clean but I was bitten by bedbugs or something. Voice in the halls and house keeping knocked on the door 4 hours before checkout asking if we was staying another night. Its a whole in the wall hotel, staff was polite though.

Checked into the room to find a empty bottle of vodka sitting on the bathroom counter. The room overall is disgusting. Most of the outlet covers are missing. Got woken up at 2:30 am to some woman tripped out on something banging on all the doors. She was screaming that she was trapped in the hotel. This is by far the worst hotel experience I've had.

This hotel was very crengy. I did not stay here on purpose. I will not be staying here ever again. Customer service lacked highly in the customer service part. No clean towels. No fresh linen. I arrived to my room 35 minutes after checking in and housekeeping had not done anything to the bed. I put my things away while she lazily replaced pillowcases. And my being in the room had no affect on her phone conversation about what she wanted to do for her kid's birthday. I waited 24hrs for clean towels that never came. I did not sleep well at all. Please unless it is otherwise life and death, and you choose death, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Made a reservation for 3 days for specifically queen beds room. Arrived to the place and they only had King beds. Didn't take ehat they offered and spent the night at another place. Checked my bank account and the still charged me for one night… called front desk three days in a row… been kept on hold and hanged on… I understand its a cheap motel, but still you don't just charge people money for a service you don't give… ridiculous… finally when I contacted the front desk, the only option given was to debate it with my bank… which I did and got my money back… suck on that!

Lousy location hazardous area almost us shipping, bad experience.

This place is the absolute worst place we ever stayed. Got two handheld amateur radios stolen from room… smell of marijuana in hallways and mgmt. Wouldn't do anything about it… service was terrible… continental breakfast was box of fruit loops with no milk or bowls… coffee was lukewarm… door was falling off hinges… bathtub had no stopper and floor of tub was slick as ice… security personnel dressed like street thugs… need I say more? Yes, after reading previous reviews I wonder why corporate hasn't pulled the franchise from this owner. So many negative reviews, yet NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE and I'm never will be. To repeate… this is a drug den with horrid conditions that I will report to the Atlanta BBB as well as the health department.

I had to evacuate my home in Tampa, Florida due to Hurricane Irma. I reserved a non-smoking room. I am sensitive to cigarette smoke and it irritates my sinuses. The room, 309, had obviously been smoked in. The smell of cigarette smoke was obvious. Also, there were cigarette burns on both night tables, a chair, and the bathroom door. When I requested a different room, the clerk said none were available. I went back to the room and searched online for other hotels. When I told the clerk I was changing hotels, she said I would still be charged for the night since I had been in the room more than 15 minutes. I reserved a non-smoking room, drove 7 hours to escape a hurricane that may destroy my home, was given a smoking room, then treated rudely by the clerk, who insisted I would be charged for that room.

The rooms were not well maintained, the smoke detector was on all night making noise. All the people that talk commented that the area was full of drugs.

This place is disgusting to say the least. Hallways stink and dirty Ice machines don't work. Room have a n odor of cat urine. Electrical sockets in rooms not working… Furniture has cigarette Burns all over it. Overall this place needs to be shut down. The code violation s I sure are endless and some officials are getting kick back to help keep this place open…

Don't expect much at this Red Roof Inn. I've stayed at many Red Roof locations but this one is in disrepair. We stayed in the 5th floor and one room had the door standing open where it appeared to have been broken down. It wasn't repaired or even closed but left in this condition. There are no working ice makers. The ceilings are covered with stains and the furniture is all damaged. When I called about the hanging clothes rack which had been pulled out of the wall when we checked in, they simply "made a note of it. ". The hotel had police guarding the entrance when we returned after 8p. I'm not sure how safe the area is, around the hotel. Choose another location, if at all possible.

I actually had a decent stay here. The front desk clerk was nice and the room was clean. I know this is not typical, so here's my question: at what point does the owner stop coming here to apologize and instead actually fix the issues?

If I didn't have to rate this hotel with atleast 1 star to post, I wouldn't have even given it that… My husband had to be here in atlanta for work. This was a decent hotel for the price. Nice sized rooms. For my husband our 3 year old and I. It was clean and we were on the 4th floor. Close to lobby and could also see our vehicles parked outside of our window. But the one night we had to park where we couldn't see them, our window was busted out of our truck and our truck was ransacked. We called police… who never showed and only wanted to file a case over the phone. This happened at about 7:30pm mind you. We filed insurance and decided to just stay another night and that we would find another hotel in the morning. When we woke up another 4 cars (YES I SAID FOUR) had been hit. 4 separate vehicles also had their windows busted out. The security is supposed to work ALL night long until 6 in the morning WALKING THE PARKING LOT. They were also notified of the incident, but their security needs to be fired and restaffed with people who will actually DO THEIR job, instead of stand around and smoke weed in the parking! YES, the parking lot! I SEEEEN YOU! there are 3 different nude bars within 1 block of the hotel and I couldn't count on my hands and toes how many prostitutes I seen walking around the gas station. And a number of men in cars riding around asking if you needed anything, (in reference to drugs) he held his hand out showing every drug under the sun to my husband.

I have never written a review. Never have I ever felt so unsafe in a place. Prostitutes everywhere. Men offering drugs for you to buy. Shady looking people out in the front. We booked three nights but I don't see myself fulfilling the last two. Honestly sucks. Please pay more and go to a nicer hotel. All the bad reviews are true.

I read the reviews before reserving my room, yet booked anyway as it was close to Six Flags (where the family and I planned to go the next day) and was pleasantly surprised of how well the premises was maintained; our rooms were a nice size and very clean. The front desk personnel was very friendly and accommodated our every need. I did not smell any weed or see any shady characters. It's not a 5 star hotel, but its very nice for the Price! Will recommend to anyone…

Read the other reviews but it wasnt bad at all. Price was good. Rms were big. Sheets clean. Front desk was friendly and other guest was nice. House keeping was ok. The area isnt the best but never felt unsafe at the hotel.

Run just run! checked in the front desk lady could care less… unprofessional, security guard was "drinking" on the job! they let everyone in the "secured doors" and didn't even check identification! the area it was in and it was run down! not my type of red roof inn! this needs a revamp! i had to call and made sure they reversed my payment when they cancelled. Still waiting on it! calling corporate! i hope they had cameras too much "action in the area! " anyone could just get in!

Bring the family! One of the nicest facilities I've ever stayed at. I didn't have any problems here. Clean room, nice staff and super comfortable beds with cold a/c. Red Roof Inn, you've done it again. Thank you! Diamond member. (Sike)

Smell of marijuana overwhelming. Elevator was not working. When they got it running, the "employee" had a barely lit cigarette in his hands. It was hot as can be. And many women dressed in a "peculiar" manner roaming in and out. Not saying anything is bad here but not the place to take the family.

Lots of hoodlums outside on the property. Place smelled like weed when you walked in the door lady at the front didn't have my reservation right off the bat when I announced my check in and kept using her cell phone while trying not to really assist me. Finally got a room key there was no parking in the front due to trucks and people loitering in the parking lot lookin for stuff to get into. Got to room. The door was wide open before entering. The painting on the wall had fallen off and landed on the bed. No pillows and smelled like someone had recently been murdered in room. Got a different room. Only one lamp had a light bulb no remote. I don't feel safe I made a reservation for 2 nights I will not be staying for the second night. This place is not a good place.

The room was nice and clean maybe that's cus there is an older Hispanic lady that cleans it thankfully… Now I'm not one to judge about weed smoke but boy that's all you could smell when you walked in. Then you got the people hanging out front not dumb to what they where there for then you got the prostituts all over did not feel safe at all first time ever we had to lock or hotel door. Cus of the company outside and around the hotel it was so not worth the money… Im only okay with giving this place a one start for the room that's all. Well they could of had more towels in the room…

Was looking for a cheap stay for 12 hours, and this fit that bill. This does not seem particularly family friendly. Wouldn't stay here again.

We needed a cheap room that took pets for job interview… We got that. Room was decently clean. Front desk was nice. Lots of people around the entrance to the hotel at all hours. Possibly from a trucking company? No where to walk dogs… Reserved a non smoking room and got a smoking room… Not great on my allergies and asthma… Won't stay here again but it sufficed this time. Oh and strip clubs surround the hotel… Good for those that want a buffet? Just not us…

The worst place ever… They charged my debit card when I never stayed there. The management is fradulant and didn't want to give me any information when I asked about it. I have the police involved.

Not the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, but also not the worst. The room was very big, but in need of repairs. 2 of the 3 lights were broken. The neighborhood also didn't feel very safe, but the onsite security guard made up for that. Service wasn't very friendly, but not rude either. A very average, rundown hotel.

10… This is the worst motel in the country… the hotel smelled of marijuana as soon as you walk in. If you make across the parking lot without being hit up by the crack dealers and heroin dealers and prostitutes. My husbands truck was broke down and he had to stay here it was the closest hotel I picked him up there. This place is horrible don't stay here unless you are a criminal or you want drugs or prostitution no other reason this place should be shut down the cops in Atlanta should be ashamed that this is even allowed to go on. Get up the Super loop giving tickets and go clean up your city… disgusting and shameful! This place should not even be affiliated with Red Roof Inn I have stayed at a lot of them across the country there are bad and there are good but this is the worst!

Here for a truck driving company. Had a roommate. Another person checked in and was given a key to the room at midnite. I told him there was already 2 people in the room. Minutes later, security's comes down, loudly knocks on the door and asked how many are in the room. Then she ordered us to come up to the office. The front desk didn't know who was assigned to the room. So we gave her our names. Then you have the weed smell. What's the use of having security. Full size refrigerator, no microwave. This place sucks.

Room I was in was clean. When the sun goes down, there's a drug dealer and prostitute that work the corner behind the hotel. I was told by the front desk if I leave at night, have somebody go with me… I stayed here back in July '15.

Rooms to stay in winter ☃ are great, warm. But smoke a cigarette and enters the cigarette smell by the fan of the bathroom under the door for the whole side : (

I just left this hotel with my fiancée yes we checked out at 4 am. This place is INFESTED with roaches! We seen at least 20 roaches in our room! DO NOT STAY THERE.

8 Years Military Service, 2 years at a pet hospital, 1 year at wal-mart and this was the skeevy-est night of my life. To be honest the staff seemed pretty courteous and checked me in quickly and efficiently… That was the Only Positive. To start It was hard to find due to the nude bar next door having a sign 3X bigger than Red Roof. The shady gas station directly next to the hotel shocked me with it's skunk weed stench and the cashier behind 2 inch glass. That being said it was immaculate compared to the rooms. I have heard often of run down motels with an infestation but to walk in the room and see Roaches (who dispersed from some diabolical meeting in the middle of the floor). First rule of Roach Club Don't leave anything against ANY wall. They will immediately find their way into your bags. As I pulled my laptop out to write this a little friend was already hugging it. Rule 2 if you wish to sleep at all keep the lights off and pay no attention to the shadows. Some of the things that did not make this list were. Horrible skunk weed smell in the entire building, shady "residents" in and around the building smoking and being obnoxious, and burn marks on most wooden surfaces. Do NOT stay here. I realize now that I missed the positive of the roaches only being an inch long or less P. S. "Currently starting a family album for the roaches, they have come to accept me as one of their own.

(This is best hotel in 4 mile area) A few big trucking companies have their people stay here for oreintation. So most people hanging around hotel work for a trucking company. Hotel needs remodeling, few years past due. My room was clean, but only one set of towels and housekeeping knock on door 2 hours b4 checkout.

It's actually not that bad. More safe compared to the one in midtown. 4 gentlemen's clubs in walking distance.

The fkn worst! I'm convinced that rodents manage this infested hoe-tel it's a nightmare. Poor rm services all Rooms stank af and smoked out nonsmoking my a**. Just burn this pos down and start over.

The rom that I got is pretty clean, and the staff were so helpful. The one thing I didn't like about this place is the guys smoking in front of the building.

I didn't like anything about it at all. The location just happen to be in the middle of where I needed to be. The room had flies buzzing around it constantly. The lamps wouldn't work unless you turned them on and wiggled. On the bed (odd sounding I know). Tenants were smoking drugs in and outside of the building. The bed itself smelled odd and it was just a really unpleasant experience all around. I'll never stay there again. If you're looking here, do yourself a favor and just keep looking.

Worst hotel I have stayed in life. The non smoking rooms aren't practically existing. I tried three rooms all had been smoked into with AC full on to mask it. One of the room had serious roach and bug infestation. No iron board no big towels. Location near strip clubs not feel safe or family atmosphere. Please avoid at all cost. Worth maybe 20 bucks.

This hotel is not up to Red Roof Inn's standards. Staff friendly, rooms below average, location not acceptable, Hookers and pimps in parking lot. Located next to strip joint and liquor store. Did not feel safe. Checked out after an hour and went to different hotel.

We made a reservation driving from Chicago to Atlanta. When we get there they give us a card for our "room" we walk in the room and its occupied! we walked in on someone at 130 am in the morning. Then the front desk girl walks down the hall banging on doors to see if they're occupied and they are. Wow never again this place.
