Horrible stay, horrible service from manager Chris Reger. From the moment I got to this hotel, the quality of this stay was lacking, significantly. The refrigerator was broken when I arrived. Next, which was the most major issue at this hotel, my room was hot during my entire stay. I reported this to the front desk after spending the night in 75F temperatures, and maintenance was called and then came to my to my room to fix the issue. They let me know that the room had a block on how cool rooms get in effort to save more money and be more efficient, (disturbing, considering I am a paying customer). I was told the problem had been fixed. Surprisingly, the room remained hot for the remainder of my stay. I complained several times to management about this issue. Chris Reger followed up with me to say only rooms that aren't vacant don't cool and that I was imagining this issue, he was extremely rude, obnoxious, and offered no customer service. This has been the worst hotel experience I have ever endured.

Great breakfast service. Rooms are really nice and tidy. Showers super clean.

We really like Marriott but we’re not very happy with the Renaissance. Rooms average. Service at breakfast buffet was slow with the serving of beverages both times we ate. For the price we paid it certainly not on a par with the usual Marriott service.

Attended a beautiful birthday event here last weekend. The room was beautiful and the staff was great!

Stayed last week before embarking on our cruise & booked for return before flying ✈️ home. Great staff!

Where do I begin. We booked 2 suites a month before our wedding because my sister got married to her husband there and the service was above average. The venue we booked was 5 minutes away from this hotel so why not book it there to get ready for our big day. The event coordinator took our card information and personal information and everything went through. Day of wedding comes an our books where not payed for we had no where to stay and it was the beginning of the worst service and discrimination we have ever received. My Wife yes we a lesbian couple. My wife and I have been there for business meeting and one again received excellent service. So why is that it that now it’s a gay wedding and their service was just terrible. Their excuse was they banquet going on so they couldn’t attend us. We weren’t staying there for free so why couldn’t we get the same service. One of the make up artist called for a stool chair so she can do everyone’s make up took 30 minutes we called again someone picked up and hung up the phone clearly we where inconvenience them. My cousin was very upset she went down with my 12 year old to see what was happening. She said their understaffed and they needed to attend the banquet… it’s my wedding their shouldn’t be order of importantance especially since where gay why would it matter. Kendra at front desk gave her stool and told them they could take it from there.

The hotel is very clean and well taken care. I am really enjoying my stay in this hotel. The beds are comfortable and clean.

Very clean… gre as t conference rooms. Had our Sunday worship Services there for 3 weeks. Was awesome. Great ambience.

Daniella checked me in and she is the epitome of a Marriott employee. She was courteous, accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. She has been one of few who appreciated and thanked me for my loyalty.

Despite being located in what feels like a residential area, you're within reasonable driving distance to a lot of activities. Rooms were clean, adjustable AC, and pillows were fluffy. Hotel also has an outdoor pool and also a fitness center (fitness was under renovation). There was a bar and restaurant at well. Both, while good, were rather expensive.

Rooms aren't as nice as they appear to be in online pictures. Fixtures dirty and broken. The lobby was nice, not much else was. They're doing construction, so a lot of the paeking spots were called construction vehicles and storage boxes.

Front Desk and Cafe staff are polite and professional. Ample parking. Rooms and Concierge lounge are fairly standard. Breakfast buffet is great. Currently renovating the lobby which is really loud.

Ok stay at this property. The hostess in the exec lounge was particularly friendly. Definitely earned an extra star for this review.

The room was really nice and the service and pool was great too. The best part was the free water downstairs.

I was there for an event. The event room was clean and spacious. The lobby was modern.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this beautiful, comfortable hotel. A couple of issues came up (not by fault of the staff) that were resolved promptly with a smile. I would definitely recommend this and stay there again!

Perfect Hotel. Less than 15 minutes from the airport. Quiet area. I was able to run safe. Lunch is excellent.

I enjoyed the buffet this morning that was given to my as a Comp meal however, there was a hiccup with room accommodations I ordered the room on line for double beds and when I checked in they only had a king size bed. I got the room for the night to celebrate my B-Day nearby at the Hard Rock this does not seem to be the norm for former Marriott hotel which is now The Renaissance Hotel if you order in advance you are paying for a room in advance at top rate and I feel the mgmt team should acknowledge and hold that into consideration! Not say I'm sorry we only have king sz bed available and a roll away bed for my 15 year old soon not good enough…

A nice hotel with spacious grounds and pool area with Jacuzzi. The room was clean and spacious as a single room. I was only two days there because I was on transit but absolutely adequate and the connection to the Highway 95 is great.

I'm still here now and this hotel is GORGEOUS! Very nicely kept. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed.

I have had friends and family stay here. They were satisfied. It is very conveniently located and easy to get in and out.

Excellent experience at this hotel. The service was out of sight. I had a mishap with reserving the room I wanted, and the front desk took action to solve it. I also received a handwritten note from management apologizing. Concierge lounge was pretty good — great food, comfortable seating. Hotel lobby is beautiful, and their workout facility was quite impressive. Good enough to get a solid workout. As for the room, bed was comfortable, AC worked great, shower above average, and they had a really cool multi connection charging tool for every device you needed. Would stay here again.

Only stayed one night before a cruise. Friendly staff who gave us bottles of water at check in. Much appreciated after a long journey. Nice room with comfy bed and views. Breakfast was quite pricey with limited choices. Hot food was cold.

This Renaissance is a good Marriott property for the area. It's located squarely within an office park but is convenient to get to via the 595. Parking spots are plentiful and parking is free. Hotel Wi-Fi works well enough. The facility has older looking walls and doors, but the decor in each room is updated and is nice enough. The concierge lounge is available on the 9th floor for those with status. The only caveat of the rooms was the lack of heaters (usually not needed in Florida but still surprising). Overall a solid option if you're visiting for work in this side of town.

We hunkered down here during Hurricane Irma. By far the most Hospitable Staff I've encountered in South Florida. I'm giving an additional St☆r to Elizabeth Burnette and her Sensational Staff. Thank you for keeping my family safe, fed, and entertained.

Room very comfortable and clean. Every staff member I came into contact with was always very friendly and smiled. Very help with anything I needed. Bartender Christina very friendly and out going. Her services for food and drink excellent.

Great place to stay! I needed to ship a package, they were their to help. I needed an extra blanket in my room, and they delivered. I ordered room service, three egg omlet, and it was delicious! The outdoor pool & hot tub was added bonus during my stay. Thank you to all the of Renaissance staff during Christmas holiday!

Staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are great. Big TV, nice bed and cool view. Food is also great.

My wife and I attended a financial seminar sponsored by Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank and it was amazing. The rooms were elegant and the service was efficient. There was an employee waiting at the entrance guiding everybody making it quick and easy for us to get exactly where we were going. The entire area is well kept and it feels like it's brand new.

A place I would recommend to have fun.

Older but excellent condition hotel. The rooms were clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The only negative was the bathroom door in my room had a spring hinge and closed automatically. I had to prop it open. I was very happy with my stay.

Friendly staff and recently renovated rooms. Love staying here over most Marriott properties because it feels a bit more upscale … also they give you Aveda products for soap, shampoo, etc… love to hoard those :)

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. I live locally and this is my go-to hotel for every "staycation" purely because of how great my experience is every time. There was a hiccup with my stay-before-last, and before I could even check out I received the most sincere apology. When I followed up about the experience, Connie, Clinton, Casey and the entire staff went beyond my wildest expectations and made up for it in ways I could have never anticipated — all for me and my fiance on her birthday. I have never had a more exemplary and extraordinary customer service experience in my life. I can guarantee that if you stay here you will enjoy every second of your stay. (Also, all of the room service food is so so so good! )

My husband and I had our wedding here on April 22, 2017. I originally had dreamed of a more rustic venue, but the packages the Renaissance had to offer were not only reasonably priced, but the event coordinator, Jessica Salgado, was absolutely amazing in every way. She was a big factor in deciding to have our wedding here, and was flexible, responsive, and paid great attention to all details. She and Nicole made sure my day went smoothly, and there was nothing that had been overlooked. I have severe allergies to cleaning chemicals, and Jessica even made sure the bridal suite was specially tended to in the days leading up so that I wasn't sick on my wedding day. Francisco was the head chef for our event and people raved about both the event and food. We even had a couple who had been at a wedding at the Biltmore come up to us and tell us how much better the food at the Renaissance was, and how much more they enjoyed our wedding. This hotel is a must see if you're considering a wedding in the area. Thanks for making our wedding amazing!

Absolutely amazing service. The front desk were the friendliest I have EVER met. I would definitely stay here again. The food was great. I accidentally broke a glass, they were so quick to clean it and replace the glass. The African American gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally friendly made our stay very welcoming.

This was the venue we chose for our daughter's wedding. Perfect location for out of town guest. Unparallel customer service, the food was excelent. Our experience was flawless from initial planning to the end.

Rooms were great quality and serviced well. Location was situational but fantastic for where I needed to be. Would definitely recommend this hotel for other patrons.

Beautiful hotel. Service was impeccable. Rooms are clean. A bit disappointed that a small fridge is an option. Spacious gym but equipment not optimized for the space. Pool is on the small side but clean. The food is excellent for this price range.

This hotel is beautiful, clean, great location, everything is near by. Staff very nice and attentive. Definitely will recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely 7th-floor room with a lake & pool view. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Savannah in the dining room during the dinner hour. My only complaint was that there were some lock issues with the door; but after the second failure, the maintenance staff seemed to fix it the problem. (Plus one of the small frogs peed on my friend's cradling hand. ) The many iguanas soaking up the mid-morning sun were a bonus.

I spent 2 nights at the hotel. I can for a work event and the event also took place at the hotel.

Rooms are small. A room for a mom, dad, and two young children using two double beds is cramped. But customer service and staff are exceptional.

We stayed in the Suite and if was large and comfortable. Nice beefs and pillows. The staff was very friendly. Overall it was a good experience.

I have my office parties there every year (JNBS) and the food is excellent, the service is great and the Renaissance sales and banquet team members are awesome (Nina, Laurel). You'll be in good hands with them.

First, the Wi-Fi is 17 dollars a night on top of the 200/night room. WTF! I have been in hotels across the spectrum and Wi-Fi was always free. These people are scam artists. The host, one moody woman named "Janelle" (rhymes with cottonelle, like the toilet paper), snapped at me for asking a question at the desk. I have gotten better service at the DMV. The TV was very out of date and grainy. The lobby is filled with kitschy furniture that looks like it is from a porno shoot. It is ecclectic in the worst way. Every part of this, even as business travel that I'm being reimbused for, is not worth it. I should have slept in my car or at any other hotel.
